• Rhiannon (10/5): - Was very accessible to everything. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The provided breakfasts were always delicious and you had a variety of things to choose from. There was a coin washing machine within the building that was easy to access and a drinks machine on our floor with free access to different types of tea and water (each hot and cold). The room was small but kept nice at all times and room cleaning services were always lovely. Our room was very small with a bed a desk and a bathroom each only a step from each other leaving little room for luggage.

As this also controlled the ventillation, our room was always suffocatingly hot when we arrived, had to turn on the AC for the night, then turn it down in the middle of the night when we wake up to the room being uncomfortably cool (as you could not control the temperature either, just the strenght)...

• Janice (8/5): - Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable room. Location isn't too far from the station, with many food options nearby, and is especially good if you're in Ikebukuro for anime-related shopping.
• Ying Kun (8/5): Great hotel at a great location, very friendly and helpful staff - The location is superb, in the middle of Ikebukuro, close to Sunshine City with many shops, restaurants and supermarket closeby. The room itself is a tad bigger than I expected, compared to other comparable hotels I've been in Tokyo, the bathroom is still pretty small though. There are 3 washing machines in the building, depending on the time and demand, they might be in use. There was no need to get detergent, as this was included in the machine. The ground floor also had some vending machines and a microwave. Every floor has a ice cube dispenser and water/tea dispenser. The staff was very helpful with supporting me sending a package within Japan, making a photocopy when I needed to print something, and reserving a taxi when leaving early in the morning. The free wifi was unsecured, and worse than my my eSim's connection, so I did not use it. The bathroom door was a bit damaged and not able to lock, at some times there was a bad sewer smell coming from the bath tub. There are 3 washing machines for the entire hotel, a big load takes 2 hours, so at peak times it might be hard to find an available machine. When leaving the hotel you have to return the key, and request for the key when coming back. With multiple people it's inconvenient when you only have one key available.

• 意婷 (8/5): 整體來說還是不錯的房間，價格算是合理，適合給想要住在池袋商圈附近，不求高級居住環境的人。 - 服務人員接洽十分周到友善。房間每天都有清潔，並更換毛巾。鑰匙在離開飯店時需交還給櫃檯人員，有許有人覺得不便，但個人認為不用保管鑰匙也算是另類的方便之處，櫃台24小時服務關係，回到飯店在與人員拿取即可。 整體房型不算新型，我是加床的第三張床，睡起來感覺有點下陷不算太舒適。浴室空間偏小。

• maki (6/5): 安くてきれいなの助かる… - 安めの価格設定で助かる。設備に古さは感じるけれど清潔にされていて不快感はないし、狭さはあるけれど何の問題もない。個人的には荷物かごが置いてあったのがとても嬉しかった。 どこからか音が響いてきて気になった。非常用扉や階段の重い扉が閉まるような音だった。 ホテルとは関係ありませんが夜の池袋はちょっと怖かった。

WARNING TO WESTERN TRAVELERS: This hotel uses a central 'Lockout' system. In April, you cannot turn on the AC. My room was 29°C (84°F). At $200/night, you expect climate control. • Pernille (10/5): Fantastisk beliggenhed, men der skal kigges på de slidte vinduer - Bedste placering jeg kunne drømme om når man er til anime og Oshikatsu som hunkøn. Fantastisk til prisen. Sengen var lækker og tilpas blød. Langt bedre end mange japanske hoteller med hårde senge. Der blev rigtig hurtigt indelukket og vinduet var en mareridt at få op. Tog mig timer. Men så snart der blev åbnet, så var det fantastisk og behageligt. Jeg var ikke generet at larmen fra motorvejen, da jeg elsker lyden af biler i fart. Giver mig ro med konstant rumlen. Men kan forestille mig at andre kan hade det da det løber helt ud til sent på natten. Jeg oplevede ikke noget ud over dette.
