Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too. Check in and out was easy.
There was a lot of red colors in the room which made me a bit uneasy but that's just my preference.
Thanks for your hospitality!
- Brian (8/5): - Was very hard to find. Sign on property was very small. Door was locked and property wasn’t listed on call box. Had to ask several locals about property to find out number 5 was the number on the box. Level 4 was the check in, not the empty reception on level one. Once checked in, an act of god I believe, everything was nice. Can beat the room or the view of the castle! Very chic and unique rooms. Location near the cruise terminals can’t be beat!
- Orlando (8/5): Für eine Nacht ok. Check in mühsam.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Kolkkoa - Kolkon tuntuinen, ei näköalaa & ahdas kuva, koska näköalan puutteen takia "sillit purkissa" olo.
- Verified traveler (6/5): -
- Reshen (4/5): Horrible stay - The room (room 7) that we were given smelled like an ashtray...but the rooms are marketed as non smoking. Pillows seems like they a decade old. My wife and I basically didn’t sleep the entire night. Another surprise was the bathroom... had to squeeze past the loo to get to the shower, pics attached... take note that is a size 6 slops. Breakfast was Not all that bad. If all rooms are like this, I will definitely not recommend
- Philippe (8/5): Bien - Hôtel très bien placé. Personnel top. Studio qui aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good place - Great location
Vielen Dank!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ottima esperienza, posizione centrale e comoda, tutto perfetto.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room refurbished and so very very new, modern and stylish. In front of castello nuovo, colse to subway and boat pier for capri, Ischia
- Nicholaos (10/5): Magnificent Covo degli Angioini Town House Suites - It looks wrong from the outside.
On the inside, wow! The decor. The view(Castel Nuovo & Cruise Liner Marina). The opulence (spa, sauna, twin vanities,3 TVs, storm cloud shower head, ac by 3 ). The access by foot to Napoli including the foniculare. All of it.
- Francesco (10/5): Piacevole esperienza - Personale estremamente cortese e disponibile.
- Margaret (10/5): So worth it!!! So Happy!!! - We chose this hotel for the size (we are a family of 4). I was so happily surprised by the room and the building. The location had easy access to all. Somethings we walked to some we too the train or bus. The people at the "desK' were so very helpful and accomodating - if they didn't have an answer they reached out and go me one. Although Naples wasn't one of my favorite parts of Italy I would definately stay here again if I was in Naples again!!! it is a great value for the price paid!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Ideal hotel for one night before catching ferry - It was a little difficult to spot the hotel as the name is quite small, and the hotel itself only occupies one/two levels of the building. But once found, check-in was smooth, and the room contained everything we might need for the night.
- Bianca (8/5): Nice hotel with a great breakfast - Naples is so spread out it is hard to find a central location - but this was pretty good. If you don't mind walking this spot is good - 15-20mins from the train station, 5 from the pier, 10 from good restaurants etc. Note there are not really any restaurants near by and so you are choosing it for the central location to public transport and sights - not convenience.
Pros: Nice hotel, great facilities, awesome breakfast (my daughter was excited to have cake for breakfast!), nice big new room.
Cons: wifi less good in out room (but our room was right up the end) - it was good in the central area though.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We would definitely stay here again.
- Homeforarest (8/5): Another pleasant surprise in Napoli - North Americans might find it odd to stay in a hotel on the fourth floor of a multipurpose building, and without a big sign out front. Finding and sometimes accessing Covo deglia angioini is the main drawback to this hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Large, comfortable and clean room. Ample breakfast, although seating is limited. Great location a very short walk from the cruise ship terminal, ferries and the shops and restaurants of Via Toledo and the Spanish Quarter. Napoli itself is not nearly as grimy or unsafe as we were led to expect.
- Hristo (10/5): Pleasant place close to important places - Great place, very close to the historic places and to both ports. Clean, kind people.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not much to like - should have booked the Mercure - - Check-in procedure was painful because we didn't know where to go and the area wasn't necessarily the safest at night
- Our room looked like a cheap apartment trying to glamourise itself as high class. Weird colour choices and lamp selections.
- In essence, this felt like a very large apartment unit in a building but with many rooms; each room has a washroom. No privacy.
- The walls were so thin that we were woken up at 7AM by kids of other guests who were running/yelling in the "hotel" while having breakfast.
- The toilet amenities were placed in boxes which we can tell were disgustingly reused booking after booking.
- When we entered, the air in the room was stale.
- Shower in the washroom was a not just cramped, but slightly smelled
- Verified traveler (8/5): Beautiful suite. - We had a lovely stay on our biz trip to Napoli. The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately they could not get one of the shower heads fixed in time and while we were there they tried to.. They failed. So we had one shower head which worked and we were fine. The suite was lovely though in general.
- Cherubby (8/5): surprisingly modern inside deco - the outside of the building can be deceiving. the inside of the unit was very modern and staff was very helpful. The local bus (SITA bus) terminal was within walking distance. SITA bus goes many places in Italy. it was close to the central square. Breakfast was very nice. It was near port of Napoli which becomes busy during the day time and quiet at night. We didn't feel unsafe in the area walking back from restaurant.
- Lei (8/5): Family stay - Great location. Friedly staff, very helpful.
- rodeo (6/5): Ok hotel in shady part of Naples - The staff was nice and our room was clean and I really appreciated the 2 queen beds in our room; but the hotel was located near the port so not exactly a family-friendly location.
- Francis (8/5): Enjoyable stay at Covo degli Angioini - I stayed for 3 days at Covo Degli Angioini with my family. Had a little difficulty first finding the apartments, however once located my initial concerns were very much addressed.
The apartments are beautifully kept and equipped well, the staff were fantastic and really went the extra mile to help us find good places to eat and make more sense of the Napoli transport system. I particularly enjoyed breakfast which was always well stocked with plenty of options.
A big thank you to the staff, Mawra (may have spelt that wrong) really helped us put our plans in place, so thank you :)
- Amber (10/5): I would stay here again. - We stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be a very nice place. The location was very good and close to the harbor - good for day trips - and within walking distance to the places we wanted to go to. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Taylor (8/5): Almost perfect hotel in Naples - This was almost a perfect stay. The hotel was super modern and clean, the location was great, about a ~5-7 minute cab ride from the Naples train station and a quick walk to the harbor and major shopping in Naples. Close to the metro too. The continental breakfast was nice as well, lots of options (cereal, eggs, bacon, crossiants, tea, coffee, etc)! A true double bed (not two singles pushed together) and the front desk staff was super nice too. My one issue : this hotel is one the 4th floor of the building, and there is no buzzer or way for an international traveler without a cell phone (I'm from USA) to contact them to open the front door. If you arrive M-F during the day the front door to the building is open and you can take the elevator to the 4th floor, but I arrived on the weekend when the door was shut and locked. Arriving at the hotel was a little stressful, but thankfully someone from the Pilates studio on the first floor exited the building (and thus was able to let me in) less than 5 minutes from the cab dropping me off. Had that not happened I would have no idea how long I would have been waiting outside trying to get in. Once I checked in I received keys to the building so future entry was not an issue. I would definitly stay here again, as long as I checked in during business hours M-F. But a super nice, very clean, very modern hotel in a pretty good location. 9.5/10 in my opinion.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great B&B, but a little tricky to find. - Great B&B in Naples very close to the Port, but just a little difficult to find. You have to look for the green door. Our tour bus that was dropping us off was too big to fit on the street, so they dropped us on the corner and told us good luck. There is no sign on the building and you can't get in the building without a key. We were fortunate the door was left ajar so we could enter. Once inside it was lovely and the service was great. We found a great little restaurant around the corner for dinner, and we were very close the port for our ferry to Sorrento the next morning. I would definitely recommend staying here, but just make sure you have a means to call to get in the building when you get there.
- Kelly (10/5): Great little gem! - We only stayed one night in one of the "apartments" because there were four of us. The room was extremely spacious and very nice. We had to leave for the airport well before breakfast the next morning so they brought us a carton of orange juice, extra coffee and breakfast items which was above and beyond. We would recommend this hotel!!!
- Marie Josee (10/5): Modern hotel with amazing staff! - Very welcoming hotel. Everything inside is very neat, modern and spacious. The staff was absolutely fantastic and gave us great food recommendation. I would definitely go back. As for the location, it is near the port and not far away from the university district. One metro station away from the train station. Really, a lovely place!
- Niamh (10/5): Charming Covo Degli Angioini! - We stayed here for a friend's wedding in April. The hotel was really comfortable, clean, friendly. Neighbourhood looks a little bit daunting, but it's fine. We found that if we turned left coming out the door towards the city centre, as opposed to right (and towards the port), we felt a lot safer. But we came back most evenings in the dark, and it was absolutely fine. Lovely spacious room, staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great.
- Jorge (10/5): Great stay - The staff was amazing, they took great care of us and felt very good in the room.
- Sarah (8/5): - Three nights over new year's. At first I was taken aback as the room was very dark, almost cellar like. Later I learned to appreciate it as it was very quite, even during the noisiest night of the year in the noisiest city. Received complimentary sparkling wine which was a nice gesture, but no glasses nor fridge, so didn't touch it.
No jacuzzi which I though I had seen advertised.
Building seems a bit run down. Room service seemed rushed (e.g. throwing pyjamas on the floor).
Quality of food at breakfast was mediocre.
Reception desk was very friendly & helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel with distinctive design. - Very good location and good hotel. Good customer service of the receptionists and decent breakfast. The hotel has got a unique and distinctive design and feel! Recommended.
- Catherine (10/5): Good situation in Naples - A lovely hotel !
- Stan (8/5): GOOD APPARTMENT - VERY GOOD FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY.
EVERYTHING ELSE VERY GOOD. CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY FRIENDLY.
FIT 2 ADULTS AND 4 KIDS (AGE 6,9,11,13) COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND NICE.
JUST ENTRANCE AND ELEVATOR ARE SMELLY. BUT WHEN YOU ARRIVE BEFORE 6PM
DOORS ARE WIDE OPEN AND YOU DO NOT FEEL IT.
EVERYTHING ELSE VERY GOOD.
- Selma (10/5): I would definitely stay there again! - Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel.
Good: spacious rooms, very clean, central location, great staff, decent breakfast, very comfortable bed
Not so good: ability to find it. There's no big sign, there's a small red plate on the wall with the hotel name. We almost left, thinking the address was wrong.
