Besides that the surrounding area is a very good location. If you are staying in Tokyo for the first time I highly recommend this place!

• Marina (10/5): - Sehr schönes Hotel das renommiert wurde und das für mich und meine Partnerin die beste Lange in Tokyo hat. Neben dem ansprechenden Designs des Hotels, gab es auch einen praktischen Aufenthaltsbereich mit gratis Getränken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man konnte sehr gut mit jedem Kommunizieren. Wir konnten ohne Aufpreis früher einchecken, da unser Raum schon vor 15 Uhr fertig war. Man bekommt beim ein-checken eine kleine Spiel Münze führt einen Gashapon Automaten in der Lobby. Haben dort kleine Snacks raus bekommen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, besonders für die Preisklasse des Hotels. Nachts war es trotz der zentralen Lage in Ikibukuro ruhig. Auch Zimmer Nachbarn konnte man nicht hören. Gerade für Anime Fans ist die Lage in Ikibukuro perfekt. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel, noch in der selben Strasse befindet sich das "Book Off" Gebiet. Eine Reihe von Second hand stores die sich auf die unterschiedlichen Anime und Game Genres spezialisiert haben. Auch Lashinbang und andere Nerd Thematischen Stores sind rund um das Gebiet zu finden. Nicht zu vergessen die Sunshine city Mal. Rundum eine Empfehlung.

• Anne Christin (9/5): Inrimt og moderne hotekl. - Likte godt at gjestene hadde egen inngang utenom å måtte gå via resepsjonen, og at det var et oppholdsrom med fri tilgang på diverse drinker. Perfekt beliggenhet et steinkast fra shopping, og lett tilkomst med både metro og tog. Eneste vi savnet var «onsen».

• Mariano (9/5): Convenient Stay Close to Everything You Need - The hotel staff was amazing, and the lounge was a great spot to enjoy meals instead of eating in the room. They also offer free drinks and coffee there, which was a nice touch. There is a laundry room (with only one machine, but still very useful), and while the hotel is not right next to the metro station, it’s about a 10-minute walk, which is manageable. Ikebukuro has just about everything you need, from shops to great dining options, and there are convenience stores (konbinis) right next to the hotel. Another fun feature is the game corner with retro Nintendo consoles. Housekeeping comes every two days, but they provide fresh towels daily by leaving them at your door, which is very convenient. Overall, it was a really nice experience. The room may feel small for some guests, including the bathroom, and the bed is not the most comfortable. That said, this is less of an issue if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring Tokyo and everything the city has to offer. The hotel was generally clean, although some shared spaces could have been better maintained. The free drinks and coffee are a nice perk, even if the quality is fairly basic. The laundry facilities were useful, but the dryer did not heat properly, so clothes often remained damp. Another inconvenience is that the lobby is located in the basement. There is no elevator access from the street, so you either have to carry your luggage down the stairs or leave it on the first floor while you check in and wait for staff to retrieve it. While this may be common practice, it can feel a bit uncomfortable leaving your belongings unattended. Additionally, the air conditioning was turned off, and only heating was available. This made the room quite warm at night, with no easy way to cool it down. Opening the windows wasn’t always a good option, as it would let in street noise and light, which made it harder to rest comfortably.

• YISHAN (9/5): 乾淨整潔，位置優越，東京的飯店房間大多都很小，但這裡還是住起來相當舒適 - 櫃檯服務人員的服務很好，解說很仔細，也很友善。房間厠所每次入住都打掃的相當乾淨，浴巾潔白的令人感到舒適 。地點很棒離陽光城很近附近是池袋最熱鬧的地方～飯店旁邊有個小公園閙中取靜～ 公共區域是飯店很貼心的免費空間 。偶爾有些住客整潔習慣不佳，把湯和食物潑在垃圾桶外部，弄得到處都是 。這點相當可惜。除了極少數住客需要自律，飯店如果在發現的第一時間就能立即清潔就更好了
• Hsiao Chi (5/5): Overall ok, but the room smells bad - The location is not too bad, it's about 12 minutes walk to the station, not super close but it's ok. There is a laundry room there so it's very convenient for ppl staying longer. 1. The smell! Our room smells like sewer the whole time, not sure if it's from the bathroom or the AC, the smell never goes away. 2. The room is VERY stuffy, and SUPER hot, AC temperature is not adjustable, there were days that it's 18 degrees outside, and inside the room it's close to 30 degrees. It's so hot that many nights we can barely sleep. We tried to turn the AC off, but the smell of the room got worse. They told us to open the window, so we did, and of course bugs flew in. Definitely not great. 3. The room is very small, but it's expected. 4. Ppl smoked in the cafeteria area, there were a couple of days that the whole area just smells like cigarettes. Not pleasant.

• Nathan (8/5): Affordable option for Tokyo - Has a good common area and comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a little far to walk from the nearest station, but nothing crazy.

• Shelley (10/5): Amazing, will book again. - The lounge is a great place to do some work or have a quick bite before heading out for the day! Best thing about it to be honest. The rooms are on the smaller end but what hotel in Tokyo isn’t? They have a mini game area in at the front desk for some retro games and any amenities needed can be picked up! Honestly as an introvert who prefers doing things by myself and not having to speak to staff this is a great way to get what I need without asking. My only issue is that it isn’t as close to the station as I thought it was. Easily a 15min walk and if you have a lot to carry it can be a bit far after a long day of exploring. I’m not saying 15 mins is EXTREMELY far walk. But when you’re tired and you just get off the station, I’d love to just lay down as soon as possible. No other issues except for my unwillingness to walk so far! Great area over all!! Best thing about it is that it’s so close to sunshine city!!! This makes up for the station being a bit “far”

The cafeteria on the first floor offered great paid and free options for miso, tea, and sodas. Great value if you don't plan to be in your room often. The twin bed room was small, mattress was not comfy, and pillows were too small causing neck pain.

• April (10/5): Comfortable and value for money place - The property has a good location especially if you are fun of animé including sanrio characters as there’s a Sanrio Café closed by. Convenience store like 7-11 and Lawson are within the area (walking distance) which was cool especially if you want to get some hot/cold snacks late at night. It’s a bit of a walk to get into the nearest train station (Ikebukuro) but there are so many things to see on the way so it doesn’t get boring. I love that the hotel has vending machines both for food and drinks. The room was not spacious but it was comfortable for myself, my husband and my 8-year old daughter. I was happy we were able to find a decent queen bed room as most properties offer bunk beds. The only thing I don’t like is that their main entrance is going down the stairs which I find odd and challenging especially if you’re checking in with your luggages.

The room was a bit too small, especially that we were two people. To reach the train station we had to walk 12-13 minutes. • Joey Lee (9/5): Cute and cosy hotel - I like that is is a quiet part of Ikebukuro... yet near enough to shopping and food area just walking distance. I also love the hotel's cute and cosy atmostphere. It makes you feel really at ease and relaxed, also when all your basic needs like toiletries, coffee, tea, microwave etc. are met in the lobby. The staff were also very helpful, even when we needed to store our luggage, they helped us move it into the storage and out at no cost. The room is tiny, be prepared for that but it is otherwise comfortable :)
