At Brunello restaurant, Kamal stood out for his professionalism and attentive service. He was always welcoming, courteous, and genuinely focused on making each visit enjoyable. His thoughtful recommendations and attention to detail made every meal feel special. Service like this truly enhances the overall stay and makes a lasting impression. Kamal is a great asset to the restaurant and the hotel.

The setting is superb — right on the beach with beautiful, uninterrupted views and a peaceful atmosphere away from the city rush. Suites are generous, well appointed and ideal for families or longer stays. Everything feels spacious and properly maintained. Service throughout was warm, attentive and discreet. A genuine 5-star stay in Dubai — calm, polished and very comfortable. Would happily return.
- 764amgada (8/5): Our Honeymoon - I’d give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. The hotel itself is very nice, the room service is excellent, and the breakfast is really good with solid variety and quality. The staff were helpful, and the overall stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is the half board dinner experience. Dinner is not an open buffet — it’s a limited set menu from the two available restaurants — and the food quality at dinner was below expectations. This part definitely needs improvement, and I wouldn’t recommend the half board option for dinner. A special thank you to the team members who made our honeymoon stay memorable: Pupag from room service for his outstanding care and attention to detail, Susan and Judith for the honeymoon room setup and cleaning services, and Muhammad the bellman for his great help with our luggage and arrival service. Special thanks as well to the receptionist Mohamed (overnight shift) for making everything easier and smoother whenever we needed assistance. Also, special thanks to Chef Ahmed Amin, the kitchen manager, for his effort and professionalism. Overall, it was still a very good stay with great staff and service.

So polite, so kind and they go over and beyond. They exceed all expectations and we are so so grateful for them all. A special thanks to Mojubur/ shalom and Bharu (supervisor) for your kindness, attention to detail. Thank you Mr Bharu for the birthday set up. The birthday girls was so so happy. Thanks to the receptionists, whom are all very knowledgeable about Dubai, the hotel and everything we asked about, your smiles lit the room constantly. The bar men by the pool table were friendly and kind, especially the tall black man from South Africa who is new to the team, his manager was training him very well. PS. More entertainment is needed, there is no fun elements here, however if you are looking for relaxation and peace this is the place. This is a family and couples hotel. Thank u all Davina x

- 259katharinee (4/5): Poor Experience - Very Disappointing Experience – Standards Have Dropped Dramatically As a long-time Dubai resident, I visited with my family for a day to celebrate my birthday, expecting the same great experience we’ve had in the past. Unfortunately, the service and overall standards have fallen shockingly low. There were clearly not enough staff to manage the number of guests, resulting in slow and inattentive service throughout. I ordered a Caesar salad for AED 120, which consisted of just a few lettuce leaves and barely a few slivers of chicken — hardly acceptable for the price or reputation of this venue. The atmosphere has also changed considerably, and the overall quality of the clientele and environment felt far below what this property once represented. To make matters worse, the valet service was complete chaos — we waited over 30 minutes for our car. This used to be one of our favourite places in Dubai, but sadly, after this experience, we won’t be returning.

Before our arrival, Milena, the "Lady in Red," was in touch with us by email and made sure all our dietary needs were understood, as we require gluten-free food. When we arrived, Rahim, the concierge, greeted us with a warm welcome, and every staff member we met was kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Chef Yusuf and the kitchen team, who took the time to explain each dish at the breakfast buffet and even prepared delicious gluten-free pancakes and granola for us. They also surprised us with a birthday cake for my wife, which was such a thoughtful and touching gesture. Everything about our stay was perfect. The service, the food, and the hospitality made it a memorable visit. We truly appreciated the care and attention from everyone at the hotel. Highly recommended.

Even with the windows closed, drilling and hammering were clearly audible in my room and in the corridors, making it difficult to rest or work. The team at reception were polite and tried to help, but the alternative room offered had similar noise issues. While the property has strong points (location, housekeeping, breakfast), the constant noise overshadowed them. I wish the hotel had communicated the extent of the construction beforehand or offered a meaningful solution (quiet-zone floors, earplugs, or rate adjustment). If you need a quiet stay, I’d suggest confirming construction status and room placement before booking.

The noise level was unbearable, making it impossible to stay even for a short period. We had to cancel our meeting and relocate to another venue. It’s astonishing that a reputed place like Kempinski allows such disruptive construction during operating hours. I strongly advise all potential guests to avoid booking at Kempinski until they finish this disruptive construction. If you do, be prepared for extreme noise that will ruin your stay and make it impossible to get any work or rest done. Trust me, you won’t be able to stay even for an hour. Very disappointing experience!

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Constant Construction Noise and Poor Management I had high expectations when booking the penthouse at Kempinski The Palm, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, construction work was ongoing directly above my bedroom. The noise started daily at 9 AM, later shifting to 11 AM until 5 PM, every day except Saturday and Sunday. It was impossible to enjoy the sea view or have any peace in the apartment. To make matters worse, the apartment was accessed by workers without my consent to remove a gazebo – despite my tenancy – and construction even continued over the weekend. They left the place dirty and refused to clean unless I paid AED 500. Over a week later, two operators entered the apartment on a Sunday afternoon without any prior notice, disturbing my family during our rest. They did not even knock before entering. Their cleaning was rushed and incomplete, leaving nails and screws scattered on the floor, which caused my brother to cut his foot. They promised to return the next day to finish but never showed up. I repeatedly followed up with management, who assured me the work would “soon be finished,” but instead, they extended it further into “phase 2.” My patience was tested every single day, but nothing improved. For a property that presents itself as luxury, this experience was unacceptable. The lack of professionalism, disregard for guests’ privacy, and complete mismanagement of construction works have ruined my stay. I cannot recommend Kempinski The Palm to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

A final shout out to Raju at concierge who was very helpful throughout.

The staff were incredibly polite and kind, especially the concierge Mr Mujibur Rahman. He was extremely helpful and welcoming, organising transport and fun activities for each day. We were also impressed by his exceptional knowledge of Dubai and its many landmarks. The hotel also had fantastic facilities as well as access to the beach which we had almost to ourselves on our early morning swim. Overall, this was an unforgettable stay and we are especially grateful to Mr Mujibur Rahman.

We were taken straight to our suite, greeted with roses, champagne, strawberries, chocolates, fruit and balloons. When shown around our suite, we had been upgraded and had our own pool, amazing. The main pool area was very impressive, water fountains, jacuzzi area in the pool with sun beds, swim up bar. Smoothie, ice cream bar around the pool. Good breakfast selection. Villamore restaurant was very good, fresh food, they also did the food around the pool. Staff and service were outstanding, certain members of the front of house, reception and Villamore team helped make our stay particularly special. Would stay again. Highly recommend a visit.

Perfect professional and warm welcome from the reception. Been served by Ahmed for the check in, and we felt like everyone in the reception desk is serving us with smiles. Fresh orange juice been offered in the reception. Our suite was excellent, clean and elegant, spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was splendid, with plenty of choice and wonderful staff . The hotel facilities, the beach, the pool and the lush green garden was lovely. Sure will come again.
