Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): - very dirty
bery disgusting
insects in the bathroom
very noisy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - ...............................................,.....
- Verified traveler (6/5): the hotel satisfy the objective, sleep one night - we took this hotel because it was well located for our event we have in Dubai. The accommodations weren't the best but it satisfies the objective that was staying for just one night.
things to improve:
- room service: we ask for 2 sandwiches and they took more than an hour to delivered it and when we received they were cold.
- control remote TV: doesn't work well, you have to stay up near the tv to change channels.
- Baht: hot water of the bath wasn't at all, just a little warm.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Extremely Poor - This was such a Horrible hotel I can not explain I wasted time and money. my whole room and bathroom was flooded when I came back to the hotel from outside I was fuming and very upset. I will never go back to this hotel.
- Karla (8/5): Good, city hotel - Good hotel in a decent location, making it easy to get around Dubai and see things. I was there on business and it is a good location for this as well.
- Elsa (8/5): a quite hotle. - The only difficulty was no public transportation near by. We used taxi a lot.
- Verified traveler (6/5):
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not for a quiet stay - The hotel is inside a sports arena. There was no signage to signify that it was there. I had to ask a bus driver and he pointed me to the right place. The first night the TV from the room next door was too loud. I complained to the staff and they had it turned down. Thanks. The second night was great. The third night they held a party in their banquet hall, which was immediately below my room. I could hear the music and the voices on the microphone below. The party was booked to 1 am. I complained about the noise and was moved to a different room. Although inconvenient, this was an acceptable solution, until the call to prayer from the mosque next door woke me up early in the morning. Although the staff was very helpful and responsive, I would never stay at this hotel again. Also, any voices from the hallway carried right into the room. This is not a good place to stay if you are a light sleeper, or need it to be quiet.
- Hosna (2/5): Not satisfactory - We arw not satisfy with overall service. Specially they issued falls invoice for cofee shop and rood service. We have complained to manager. They said it's software problem? How funny reply.
- Verified traveler (2/5): This hotel is a disaster - Noisy place because of mosque loudspeakers calling to pray in the middle of the night.
Located in the middle of nowhere and hardly reachable even by taxi drivers. Dark room. No lift (I am partly handicaped), it is not written before booking that the place has no lift.
Unable to get hot water, had to find a power braker to get it. Then the extra bed was not available and they found one (asking for more money), an horribly dark room, and dirty totally uncomfortable, awful. Only one little towel for three persons as shown in reservation. Very very poor toilet paper quality. Empty fridge in the room.
Absolutely horrible very slow service, room, hotel. (waiting half an hour to get a blanket for the extra bed)
Will never recommand again.
It deserves a part-refund.
For the same price, we stayed the night before at Novotel at Deira at a much higher standard.
Looking forward to receiving your reply.
Thank you. Regards.
- TT (6/5): Not what you looking for - The hotel was in a location that you couldn't find, the number that they posted wasn't correct, and the hotel old, smelled old, and the bed was terribly uncomfortable. You could here everyone's conversation and televisons in the next room and it was difficult to get any rest.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Water Pipe Broke in Bathroom - Terrible. Hard to find. Horrible experience it almost makes me never wanna use Expedia again
- Verified traveler (6/5): So and So! - Slow service terrible if not patient, far from facilities such as food eateries, convenience stores
- Verified traveler (8/5): gutes preis leistungsverhaeltnis - sauberes hotel, moderne einrichtung, gut gelegen, fruestueck verbesserungsfaehig
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disaster - First, it was very difficult to find. Not accessible in any way! No elevator, poor wifi connection, the reception was doubtful to it's guests. 😤
- hamid (4/5): - the quality of this hotel is less than my imagine
- hitesh (8/5): Perfect Budgeted Hotel - Little far from market but hardly km away can find metro n taxi is at ur door step, very silent n calm plc to stay.. Overall very good n friendly hotel staff n very helpful, I had good time
- Balasubramani (8/5): Pleasant Stay - A very pleasant stay, friendly staff, clean room and good service. Would recommend this hotel.
- Jasim (4/5): Not that much clean - Not good the water really hot and there is no cold water for bathroom. Also just one towel and not clean.
- Al (2/5): One of the worst hotels in Dubai - This hotel is setup within the grounds of a football club and seems not prepared to receive the general public, certainly not executives. Staff are unprepared with limited training. Basic facilities and cleanliness are issues (you do not want to touch the towels). Breakfast was limited (coffee was instant in a jar and hot water in a flask) and the quality of some food was worrying. Internet was not connecting and the knowledgable staff asked me to reboot my iPad. No staff picking up or delivering luggage from/to taxi. Only stayed one night but will not brave it again - there are many much better hotels in Dubai at the same price or lower.
- PETER (4/5): WELL!!!! - Hotel away from everything. Located within Al Wasl FC sports Club. No shops around, need a taxi to get around. I checked out the following day to another hotel. Nearest metro is 10 mins drive (DUBAI healthcare city). Not quite at all. Prayer centre directly in front the hotel.
- Hassan (8/5): Good hotel - Good for 6 nights
- Jenny (6/5): Decent budget hotel - If you're used to backpacking and are looking for a budget category hotel just for sleeping, then this hotel is fine as long as you have earplugs and eyemask. It's a strange set up, as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and has a floodlit football pitch out the back and a mosque (loudspeakers with call to prayer at 5am) and motorway out the front.
Taxi drivers have trouble finding it as its twenty minutes off the beaten track, inland of Sheikh Zayed road, so take a map and tell them it's at Al Wasl sports club. Taxis to the Dubai Mall cost 30 Dirhams (about £5) from the hotel, reception can book a taxi.
The hotel room was as pictured, clean if a bit worn, comfortable, wall tv, mini fridge. The buffet breakfast runs 7-10 am and is basic, eg toast, omelette, cornflakes.
On check in you pay 10 Dirhams for every night you're staying, which is in the small print on Expedia. I wasn't asked to pay a deposit as well.
The bulk of the people who use the hotel are Indian; the first night I arrived there was an Indian wedding in the dining room which also added to the noise in the night.
Hotel is fine for single female travellers. Staff are helpful booking taxis, room service etc. If you need food, room service runs late in the evening, and I think 24 hours.
There's nowhere to walk to from the hotel as although there is a petrol station and Burger King visible across the motorway, there's six lanes of traffic flying by and no crossing. Everything else is scrubby sand.
- Ali (6/5): Honeymoon! - Good hotel overall specially parking is very spacious. Breakfast was not that good as expected. Rest I recommend because location is amazing and close to all main areas and sites.
- Dev (10/5): Overall very pleasant stay - The Hotel is in prime location, and very near by to all main Dubai downtown tourists spots like Creek park, Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa etc
Room cleanliness is excellent, what you see in the photographs attached with the hotel is as is. Overall my stay was pleasant and hotel staffs were good in hospitality. Breakfast was good as well.
Only drawback which I felt is there isn't any free Wi-Fi like many other hotels available within the Room.
I bought 24 hour package for 40 AED and managed to use it during my 5 days of stay. (a user name/pwd will be given to you, and you could manage your Wi-Fi connectivity and only one device can be connected to internet at a time)
- Migo (6/5): Value for money - This hotel is good value for money if you are on a short business trip.
- SUSHIL BORA (6/5): TEA / COFFEE MAKER SHOULD BE PROVIDED IN THE ROOM - NO SO GOOD, NOT SO BAD ALSO.
- AFS Traveler (4/5): Run down and Not walking distance to anything! - WIFI only in lobby not in rooms. Inside a Sports Club so gated access took longer for cabs. Had to take cabs everywhere since not near anything for walking. Very run-down hotel and rooms that could have bee cleaner.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to Dubai Mall - Stay was good. Have to plan ahead for taxi ride to metro or any other location. Can't walk to anywhere. A vending m/c on the premises would be good.
- Jon (8/5): Great for business meeting. - Did a one night stopover for a meeting in Wafi area. Very helpful to have your own car as it is not walking distance to other establishments.
- db (8/5): Very reasonable - Staff very professional and accommodating. Paid for WiFi - connection not that good. Hotel is close to the airport, public transportation and downtown Dubai. There is not is not a lot around you, but the public transportation is excellent. I would stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Berbat bir otel - Otel konum itibari ile futbol sahasının içerisinde saha yönetiminin bulunduğu bölümü otele çevirmişler. Otelde mini bar boş, Terlik yok, Tv çalışmıyor, Asansör yok, v.s. Ben hiç memnun kalmadım lütfen sizde bu oteli listenizden çıkarınız.
- Pompom (6/5): OK - But has issues - The hotel itself is OK - the rooms are acceptable, the staff are acceptable, the food is passable and the cleanliness is good however it's the other stuff that affect the score I give this one.
The actual hotel is in the grounds of a sports stadium which is some distance from anywhere civilised. You cannot walk anywhere, it is a drive or taxi ride whenever you want to leave. I would imagine on a match day it may be impossible to get back to the hotel!
The rooms are fine, however you must remember to turn on the water heater in the room at least 1/2 hour before you want a shower - otherwise the water is cold.
Outside of the rooms is a nice relaxing seating area which seems like a good idea - however when I stayed, a visiting football team used to congregate here in the evenings and were quite noisy - they never went to bed before midnight!
My over-riding issue however was the mosque next door. I am not a religious person but to receive a 'wake-up call' at 5am every morning with the mosque calling Muslims to prayer would stop me from staying here again. The call and prayers were played out over a VERY loud speaker system that is guaranteed to wake you up and keep you awake until finished - about 30 minutes and is not conducive to non-praying westerners having a good nights sleep.
All in all, there are much better places to stay in Dubai.
- Charles (2/5): skip it - Very loud broadcast noise every morning at 5:30 (windows shake). Old, cig burned furniture. Too far from anything in Dubai. What you save over other places you will make up with extra long taxi rides. Skip it and go to a more comfortable place, using hotel.com
- Stig (10/5): Utmärkt hotell för alla! - Bodde bara där i två nätter men intrycket blev fantastiskt bra!
- SRPN (8/5): comfortable and convenient - the title of the review speaks for itself. the location, room, and customer service was comfortable and convenient. i would definitely book london suites hotel again when visiting dubai.
Personal agradable, desayuno normal y habitaciones aceptables. Tranquilidad y nada de ruido.
- Verified traveler (8/5): On a budget in Dubai? Ideal place to drop youbags - It is stuck out out ofthe mix and, with no pool, it's not going to be right for families but for the money it was ideal for my requirements on this trip.
Breakfast was very basic but rooms were fine and staff were very pleasant - even managed to get an early check in... Result!
- CEG (10/5): Hidden Gem in Dubai - Amazing service, beautiful room, fantastic room service and close proximity to everything in Dubai. Loved it.
- john (4/5): London Suites Hotel, Dubai - Good location for Festival city and much cheaper than hotels there, however the service wasn't great, kept waiting for 3/4 hour on arrival for room to be made up even though arrived well after earliest check-in time, no towels in room and despite ringing reception 2 hours later still no towels!
Only other problem no hot water.
Place seemed to be overwhelmed with big Indian party
- Verified traveler (8/5): Surprisingly clean and comfortable hotel - I stayed in many different hotels in Dubai, compared to 5 star hotels, this hotel is surprisingly very clean, updated and comfortable.
I had low expectations but was pleased after staying in this hotel. The rates are very good and management tries to accommodate you and polite.
The hotel is difficult to find, I always missed it when driving right beside it. It's inside Al Wasl sporting club which is easier to find.
The breakfast buffet was included, but not good at least for me. If you are just getting some orange juice and toast in the morning you would be fine.
We did have an issue with a group of people being very loud for 1 day at night, but it seems that this happens in most hotels these days.
Overall I recommend this hotel.
