El personal de los restaurantes era demasiado informal para tratarse de un hotel de esta categoría. Además, en la web dicen que hay varios restaurantes, cuando al final es solamente un comedor compartimentado. Le falta un lobby/sala de estar amplio.

Hotellin vieressä vuokraamossa välineet ovat vanhat ja valikoima suppea. Meidän romanttinen huone oli kaunis mutta kylpyhuoneen ylänurkka oli selvästi homeessa, ilma oli hyvin tunkkainen mikäli ei tuulettaa. Ruoka oli hyvää, ravintolan tilat ahtaat. Henkilökunta auttoi paljon, oli ystävällinen.

• 423jeff (10/5): This ski-on / ski-off hotel is an absolute gem - We were blown away by this hotel during a family trip to Spain/Andorra! If you love boutique, really high-end hotels, you'll love Grau Roig! If you love Michellin star-level dining, you'll love Grau Roig! If you love being pampered by elite leves of service/hospitality, you'll love Grau Roig! The hotel made our brief ski trip over new year's a trip to remember. It's truly ski-on / ski-off. The hotel will procure your ski passes for you, even have a gear rental store in the basement level of the hotel, next to the lockers. Our room rate came with board, which included a terrific breakfast buffet and a la carte menu as well as a gourmet multi-course dinner each night. One night, the kids wanted room service, which literally arrived 10 minutes after it was ordered. My wife and I enjoyed the Theater of Wine, which was a lavish dining experience with wine pairing. The service, plates, stemware, etcetera were on par with any dining experience I've had, anywhere. The service level was outstanding throughout our entire trip, and we loved the quiet alcove with connected rooms that the hotel provided for our family of 4. I will be looking for an opportunity to return, as ssoon as possible! Thank you Grau Roig!

I stayed in a superior double room - magnificent views from the balcony, and made use of the hotels spa area. Lots of walks to do. I didn’t eat an evening meal but I did have the breakfast (very civilised times - breakfast ran up until 11am) and the choice was extensive (and beautifully done).

• Grant (10/5): A must stay. Exceptional - Our previous visit was only a one night stop over but we were keen to see if it was as great as we thought. Our second trip only improved our thoughts on this boutique hotel, team, food and location. Seriously, this is a very rare find. Whoever manages this hotel enjoys derails and also ensures the team are happy. Small points but they show a lot (Marvis tooth paste is rare but only shows the level of detail, Oatly milk for great coffee). The whole team are so open and helpful. We stay in over 15 hotels a year and this one is equal top to the very best in the World. Seriously a gem of a find. The food is exceptional and a fare price. This time we found our favourite walk. It’s just over 8km into the mountains (on your doorstep) with over 6 lakes on route. Our room looks over the pastures with mountain cows and horses with bells. This is a dream of a place. Thank you all for another wonderful stay. We look forward to our return later in the year. Nothing. If you don’t appreciate this hotel for what they have managed to create, give up. Rooms do not have air conditioning, but chill air from outside and a fan did it well. Included breakfast was generous and delicious. Restaurant for evening meals was excellent from starters to desserts. Staff was helpful and offered service in many languages. Quite professional service, although a bit cold.

Both the food, all the team and hotel were exceptional. We will be returning in a few weeks time. We travel a lot and see this as a very rare find. Well done to everyone who makes this such a rare find. It’s next to a huge open car park, which in the winter would be very useful. Perhaps a slight eyesore in the summer but everything else about this very special hotel makes this detail irrelevant. Make sure your room is overlooking the piste.

Great facilities, clean room and building. Lovely experience all around. It was very warm in the room with no aircon. We had to leave the doors open and it was loud at times in the car park during the night. In winter this wouldn't be an issue.

• No1Scribbler (10/5): Great weekend! - A very beautiful hotel in the mountains. We really enjoyed our weekend away in the seclusion of Grau Roig. The suite we had was wonderful, a great view, a superb sleep in a very comfortable bed and wonderful facilities. The spa was very much enjoyed, it’s upgraded facilities were great. The food is amazing, we dined in the tasting room one evening and in the La Fromagerie on our second night, both dinners were delicious. Breakfast was also delicious with a great selection available. I have to mention our sommelier Thomas, great cocktails, very knowledgeable about the wines and a very welcoming host. The overall experience about this hotel is made fantastic by the staff, everyone is welcoming and friendly and you’re made to feel at home from the minute you arrive. We’ll definitely be back and would definitely recommend this hotel.
