A pessoa que me atendeu na chegada estava mais interessado no computador do que em minha chegada. Internet péssima, lenta, reclamei e nem se importam em me ajudar.

• Curious64177644137 (2/5): terrible hotel, zero service mind - I have travel agency in Korea and every year visit south america with my groups. but this hotel is the worst hotel in Argentina at my experience. first, room is very small, old and smelly. location is very far from centro, and need to climb steep slope. very unconfortable. breakfast is terrible. and the worst thing is reception guy. he didn't hear any my request, even I booked 15 rooms for my group. and after check-in, I left my big bottle of water and some travel documents at table of lobby. but when I came back to hotel after 1 hour, I found that he dumped all my things as trash. I have visited hundreds of hotels of the world, but I have never saw that hotel employee dump belongings of guest. sure, after check-out, it's possible. but just after check-in, he dumped all my things. even he knew that those are my belongings. and insisted to me that he didn't do anything wrong. he doesn't have any service mind for guests. I had lived in South America and have visited South America more than 20 times, but this guy is the worst hotel employee in South America hotel owner was worse. next morning I complained for his emplyee's behavior. but he told me that was 100% my fault. they dump to trash anything when they clean. this hotel is crazy. they have 0% service mind for clients

La struttura è datata e non ha un ascensore, per le persone anziane è un po scomoda. Le stanze non sono dotate di phon , lo devi chiedere in reception e restituire appena finito di usarlo.

• Susan (5/5): Could be so much better. - Price. Breakfast was fine. All cold but a variety of choices in a pleasant dining area.. Located not too far from the main street. The room was very basic. The double bed was very small. Very old decoration. Shabby really. Our room was in the original block, right next to an exit door that was used day and night by guests going between sections of the inn. Very noisy as it slammed shut. Staff helpfulness was very patchy. The women were helpful. But, when i pointed out that our tap was leaking/gushing a litre of HOT water every 5 minutes, the guy on day reception, actually said, " I don't care. Not my job. I am already too stressed". Geez! I was just trying to help reduce their electricity bill and help the environment. A day later, I reported it again to a different person, she took it seriously and spoke to a plumber, I hope.

• Da (7/5): It could be a nice stay if your room is not close to the stairs to the reception. - The location is good, about 5 minutes walking distance to the main street where there are many restaurants and shops. About 10 minutes walking distance to the pier where you start the boat tour; and about 2 minutes to a supermarket. Luggage storage service is available, very convenient. Facility:The facility is a bit old, need to be renovated. Location: The way from the main street to the hotel is a steep slope. Others: If you prefer to stay in a quiet room, avoid room 520, it’s next to the stairs and the stairs is the only way to the reception and the breakfast hall, the breakfast hall is at the end of the stairs, and you can’t sleep after the breakfast starts at 7am, since you can hear people talking when they’re having breakfast.

• sylviakJ828MX (4/5): Run down - I don't recommend this hotel. It was very run down and the room did not smell very clean. Pillows were dirty. TV only had Spanish channels. Reception service is 24 hours. Parking lot directly in front of entrance although there is plenty of free parking on the street. It is on a hill. Safety box inside room. Shower spigot was awful.

Everything else was great. On our second night, there must have been an issue with the heating because our room was really really warm… burning warm. We asked to put it down but it did not happen (reason why I assume something was not working well), because we were having trouble sleeping with how warm it was

• R5018EPandreasd (4/5): Rooms smell like sewers - I stayed at this hotel for about a week with my family. Our room and bathroom had open drains from which strong sewer smells emanated. We complained multiple times and nothing was done. Beds were uncomfortable and bathrooms were old and mouldy. Breakfast was mediocre at best, although standard for Ushuaia overall.

• ctm_13 (10/5): So homely! - I stayed here as part of a group trekking Patagonia in December 2019. I have been travelling further and thus my late review for this very special little hotel. I work in the business in London and stayed in a number of different hotels of varying ratings over 6 weeks of travel. I will never hesitate to give credit where it is due. This was so beautifully run with welcoming caring owners and staff. We arrived on a miserably wet evening after a long bus journey. We could not have come into a warmer cosier place where you feel immediately 'at home'. Clean, fresh, interesting and great breakfasts. So thank you all. Claire

Our room was made available very early in the morning, and was cosy. It only had a garden view, but there was a viewing deck elsewhere. The room got rather too warm in the evening (underfloor heating), and the staff were quick to respond.

• maxpixel (8/5): Good Spot for Walking into Town - We stayed at the hotel before our cruise to Tierra del Fuego. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and a great shower. Walking downhill brings you right into the downtown area. When we got to breakfast there was not much left, but we had a bite.

During the summer it gets dark almost at midnight and the dogs of the neighbors stay awake barking

• jurkevichn (6/5): Very basic but warm and dry. - A good location a walk of 5 blocks or so to the main street. Nice common area. Staff is friendly. The room is very basic. No clothes hangers in the closets. The heat worked the bathroom had hot water. the breakfast was the usual for Argentina. basically a place to sleep.
• barbara (4/5): Personal amable pero no volvería - El hotel está arriba de una cuesta horrible con lo que si quieres hacer cualquier cosa en el pueblo luego hay que subirla. La wifi no funciona bien y no está limpio del todo. La calefacción es central y no la controlas tu. Una noche pedimos que la subieran porque teníamos frío y a la noche siguiente no pudimos dormir del calor que hacía. En la zona de recepción y comedor hay un gato que se va tumbado por las sillas... no me parece higiénico ya que el bufet del desayuno está a la vista. Los recepcionistas son amables pero el hotel no está bien cuidado.
• Anna (10/5): Tolles B&B - Ein schönes gemütliches B&B an guter Lage. Etwas erhöht, ruhig, aber dennoch zu Fuss in nur knapp 10min im Zentrum. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, das Bad zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch absolut in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war gut, mit Früchten, Cerealien, Brot usw. Tee, Kaffee und Wasser gibt es den ganzen Tag umsonst. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

We love talking to Lucas. He was very friendly and helpful. One negative thing.... they have a big eating area in the front with no restaurant but will not allow you to eat pizza you order in their empty sitting ateas.

• Rubens (4/5): Não entendo como este hotel está bem avaliado - Inicialmente foi me dado um quarto no subsolo. A janela tinha uma cortina de chita que não a cobria totalmente. A porta dava para uma escada de comunicação com o páteo e o anexo com transito constante. O mobiliário caindo aos pedaços. O colchão arriado. O piso de cimento alisado pintado de vermelho, cheio de manchas e remendos mal feitos. O vaso sanitário vazava a água suja toda vez que se dava a descarga. A chaleira elétrica estava estragada. Tinha apenas uma toalha de banho para duas pessoas. A impressão que se tinha é a mesma de um hotel de beira de estrada de um país de terceiro mundo. Após reclamar e pedir novo quarto, fui informado que só ocorreria no dia seguinte, por falta de disponibilidade. O novo quarto, melhor localizado, também vazava agua do bidê, inundando o banheiro a cada uso. Tudo velho, a louça da pia estava rachada. No quarto de um amigo nosso, o vaso sanitário também vazava a cada descarga. Enfim, deplorável. Para não dizer que foi tudo ruim, o pessoal foi atencioso, mas não tinha o que fazer dada as condições precarias do estabelecimento. O desjejum era bem razoável, embora tivesse um gato que passeava por cima das mesas, o que não é muito recomendável em termos de higiene.

Funcionários super atenciosos, com supervisão pessoal e constante do próprio dono que nos deu excelentes dicas sobre o lugar. Fica distante 4 quadras da rua principal (San Martin) mas, pra nós, isso não foi um problema. Se um dia voltarmos a Ushuaia, pretendemos nos hospedar no Rosa de Los Vientos.
