The staff went above and beyond—at one point, they even offered to take my wife by bike to pick up a pizza from Domino’s! That level of care is rare and truly appreciated. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Hanoi and close to everything you need. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety and thoughtful touches. For our early departure, they prepared a customized breakfast box, which was incredibly convenient. While the bathroom could use a little updating, the overall experience was fantastic thanks to the warm hospitality and central location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service and easy access to Hanoi’s attractions.

Their breakfast buffet is okay — not much food to choose from but it was delicious and good. The room is nice and we had the 11th floor room with balcony. At first, they gave us the wrong room since there is no balcony like what we booked. My boyfriend came down to ask and thankfully, the lady from the front office is always there to help us. Also, it’s so easy to book a grab or bolt around the area which is nice. I wish we could’ve stayed longer but I’m sure that we will come back to this hotel in our next trip to Hanoi. I would like to say thank you to this staff who went above and beyond the service — Ms. Tra, Ms. Hoa, and Ms. Lisa.

The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. They were trying to accommodate our sudden change of check out time and late check in. - JILL (4/5): - From the very beginning, this hotel was a big fail. Weeks before arrival, I confirmed in an email with the hotel's sales manager that the room would have two beds. Upon arrival, we had to wait for housekeeping staff to separate the bed into two and make them up. "Executive city view" is a joke. The room overlooks the back a bunch of old apartments. Only in the distance can you see two high rise buildings. There was a disturbing black "something" on the shower curtain. Spa personnel were very unfriendly and we went elsewhere. There is not enough seating for breakfast in the dining area. This happened both mornings. I sent a message to the sales manager via Expedia (how we corresponded previously) and received no response. There are many other places to stay in Hanoi. Skip this one.

The hotel was the best I have stayed at in Hanoi. Michael contacted us as soon as we made the reservation and he took care of us as if we were family. He really loves the work he does and does everything with a lot of love. We felt his care and love in every detail that he took care of. We had some setbacks along the way, and Michael made himself available to fix everything and did so. It was the best experience I have had so far while traveling, even though I have traveled to more than 15 countries. Congratulations on having such a wonderful employee. I will recommend you to all my friends and family.
- antspants (2/5): Scammers that cancel your booking and swap hotels on you - We booked 4 months in advance as we knew this would be a busy time in December. They contacted me on the day of my booking to say there was an electricity issue with our family room. We were then offered a much cheaper hotel in exchange. It was obvious that there was no issue and that they were able to sell our room to somebody willing to pay more than us. This left us stranded at 8pm with not much choice but to take the low end hotel in a completely different area. It looks like they do this to people all the time so don’t book this hotel

- sensirie (6/5): Don't stay for the service, just pay for the stay! - This little hotel is in the heart of the city which is convenient for tour bus pick-ups and drop offs as well as the convenience of getting a cab. I managed to get the hotel room as pinned on this main photo which was quite big and comfortable. The hotel size pretty descent, the downsize is service which is done by locals as the staff are not professional hoteliers, as they do what they can within their means. It does serve the purpose, however. The breakfast is quite basic, toast eggs noodles and fruits, no changes from this.

The staff didn't charge us for the night we missed and allowed us an early check in. We knew we'd be leaving early the next morning before breakfast and they offered to organise a take away breakfast for us. We ended up needing to return as Sapa was flooded. The staff gave us a free upgrade to a family room with a nice view as all their other rooms were fully booked. They looked after our luggage the next day so we could explore Hanoi without any hassle. They're very kind; even racing to the door to open it for you. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast delicious and varied. Highly recommend. Also, fabulous location!
- 106bobbiem (10/5): Location Location Location - This small Boutique Hotel is in the Old French Quarter of Hanoi, walking distance to many pubs, cafes, restaurants, and the beautiful Lake, Location is 10/10. It is not a Chain Westernised Hotel, the Building is obviously Old, but our room (1102) and others we looked in, were clean and modern for the age of the building. The Vietnamese obviously respect their heritage and don't knock down these beautiful old buildings but build around them. Aircon was cold, fridge was cold, bed very firm, we asked for and were given a second room card, so we could leave one in the slot for electricity and came back to nice cold room. Buffet breakfast delicious, plenty of choice, small area but this is a small Boutique hotel. Finally all staff friendly and helpful full of smiles. Would definitely book again, great price and location. Thank you.

- 388oliviaf (2/5): Not like online pictures - The staff are the only redeeming feature about this hotel. The hotel looks nothing like the online photos. Rooms were dirty with mould in the bathroom, Aircon did not work, wallpaper was peeling off of the walls. There is one small lift which is very slow but you are unable to walk down the stairs as the are blocked with old holey mattresses and bags of rubbish. There is the dirty laundry trollies left on every floor all day. We were booked to stay here for two nights but after one night checked out and found another hotel. Upon the checkout the staff offered to refund us 75% of the second night. As soon as we walked out, they cancelled our booking on booking.com as a no show and sent a WhatsApp requesting us to pretend we never stayed there as they do not want bad reviews. Booking.com does not allow "no shows" to make reviews so we cannot rate it there.

To begin with, the staff were great -- friendly and helpful. The pillows and bed were perfect (not too soft but not too firm), and the shower had good water pressure. However, our room had several issues with cleanliness -- there were large stains on the chairs, sofas, and pillowcases. The bathroom towels smelled musty, and there was mold around the edges of the bathtub. Most importantly, I felt misled because this property is also listed as "JaCosmo Hotel and Spa" on TripAdvisor with 800+ 5-star reviews, and this hotel is certainly not that. Beware!

They sorted loads of stuff out for us, booked airport taxis and a wonderful cruise in Ha Long bay for a lower price than we could have got elsewhere. Richards recommendations for places to visit and eat were spot on. We stayed in 2 different rooms, a double standard room before our cruise and a family room after. The family room was much nicer, I guess some rooms could do with updating but the great service, location and really good price made it faultless in our eyes.

Negativ Sah die Küchenangestellte das Salat-Dressing vorzuberiten, sie schmeckte mit dem Löffel ab, goss das Dressing über den Salat und rührte mit dem zuvor abgelegten Löffen den Salat für die Gäste um Ich zahlte bei Ankunft bar und erhielt eine Quittung, beim der Abreise meinte der Mitarbeiter, ich müsste noch bezahlen, als ich ihm die Quittung zeigte, sagte er, da muss wohl jemand den Betrag nicht registriert haben. Ich sagte nunur"ja, das waren Sie". Jetzt frage ich mich doch, warum dieser Betrag 5 Tage lang nicht in der Kasse auffallen ist? - von Sauberkeit ist nicht zu reden, Toilettendeckel wird beim Putzen gar nicht erst hochgehoben, ich musste immer nachputzen - aus dem Duschabfluss stank es schrecklich nach Urin. - das Zimmer besitzt kein Fenster zum öffnen. - hatte ein Zimmer für zwei Personen, auf dem Balkon gab es nur einen Sessel. Einer musste immer stehen. Den Mitarbeiter Brain auf den fehlenden Sessel angesprochen, meinte er nur "Ich werde mir das überlegen ". - die Hoteleinrichtung ist ohne jeglichen Geschmack zusammen gestellt - wohnte im 11. Stock, vom 1 bis zum 10. Stockwerk ist der Treppenaufgang ziemlich zugestellt, bei Feuer möchte ich dort nicht mit allen Gästen runterrennen müssen. Das Hotel braucht dringt ein gutes Management.

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Friendly and resourceful staff helped with luggage from car to room. They spoke English fluently and offered great recommendations (and not pushy at all). AC and elevator were fast. Their price for airport shuttle and tours are pretty competitive. Room service staff offered free extra water bottles for our family. They didn’t charge us when our kid broke their yogurt jar. They let us use their microwave for baby food. Nice place to stay if you’d like to explore the authentic Việt culture, food, busy neighborhood, lake, street vendors and night market on foot. Probably not a good fit for someone looking for a world class treatment. We can safely cross the street and walk around with toddlers.

Laundry service was quick and super convenient. Everything was in walking distance. The room was great for the value, the enclosed balcony was a perfect place to end the night, and the AC worked amazingly. Even a couple days after we checked out and had a few hours left in Hanoi before flying to Ho Chi Minh, they were still taking care of us! Definitely recommend staying here, we will be back!!

Room condition is pathetic. Cleaning lady was using our toilet when we checked in. And by the looks of it had spent the night there and had breakfast and tea in tue room. We waited outside our own room for 10mins till she finished. The pictures are quite deceiving, room is old and everything is broken. My friends room aircon was not working and they simply said we will give u a stand fan. But cannot refund or cancel! Avoid at all costs!

Staffs were very attentative and tried to please guests.

The elevator is absolutely horrific. After waiting for 15 minutes I had to carry my luggage down the stairs from the 8he floor. The cleaning staff blocks it for large periods of time to transport the sheets and don’t understand that others need the elevator. I couldn’t even reach them on the 10th floor because the stair was blocked with sheets and mattresses. Honestly, I wouldn’t bother with this hotel. There are plenty of amazing ones in the area.
