Tucked away in the picturesque Piazza della Maddalena, the hotel offers a truly serene atmosphere amidst the vibrant surroundings. Our host, Monica, was not only warm and welcoming but also an invaluable source of knowledge about navigating the city and discovering the best local eateries. Her recommendations were spot-on! We chose this special place to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we brought my mother-in-law along to enjoy the experience as well. The room we stayed in was nothing short of spectacular—spacious, beautifully decorated, and surprisingly quiet, providing the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring. I cannot recommend this enchanting hotel enough!

Before arriving we received an email telling us exactly how to get to the hotel as well as tips on how to make sure we get into the right taxi and how much we should expect to pay which I appreciated since drivers were trying to get us to come with them and pay double. Once we arrived, our host arranged for a taxi to pick us up and get us to the airport in time for our flights home. The hotel is very centrally located and we even had a view of the pantheon from our hotel room. I highly recommend staying at this property if you want to be in the heart of Rome!
- John (8/5): - An interesting boutique hotel. The location is great, just a few metres from the Pantheon. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. We had a triple room, which was quite spacious. Plumbing works well. The continental breakfast was nice. The staff are great, really kind and helpful.
- David (10/5): Exactly the Rome we wanted to see - I was looking for a nice hotel but with a local feel and this was exactly what i found here. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We stayed for five days. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. Every time we walked in we were greeted by name and with a smile. The room and bathroom were much bigger than i expected. Our room overlooked the piazza and every evening we had music playing right outside the window. The atmosphere was magical. With the windows open the tall buildings turned it into an amphitheater. With the windows closed it was completely quiet in the room. The music stopped about 10:30 every night and there was no problems sleeping. Tons of shops and restaurants everywhere around. We walked almost everywhere but there were taxis and public transportation close by. We felt safe everywhere we went. There is a small breakfast room with plenty of choices to start the day. My wife really enjoyed the violinist. This was exactly the Rome we wanted to see.

We were able to leave our bags with her only one of our rooms was ready. She gave us dinner places and mapped out the places we were visiting. We will definitely come back to this hotel. If you’re looking for fancy this isn’t it. It’s full of culture and character and we loved it!!

Room was never cleaned and we didn’t have the do not disturb sign up. We consistently tried to contact the front desk which no one was never there. The bathroom is full of mold and smells like it too. Mold is throughout the whole shower lining and the bathroom floor floods. Housekeeping is also the chef of the place. Breakfast was disgusting. Food was stale. I contacted Hotels.com and they weren’t able to get in contact with them either. I brought my partner to Rome for our engagement and birthday and I am beyond embarrassed and disgusted. This hotel should really be ashamed of themselves for this daunting experience. The fact that we STILL haven’t heard from the hotel tells you everything.

We were given a WhatsApp number that no one answers. Privacy sign was not up on the door. Room stayed dirty until check out. Bathroom was FULL of mold. The trimming and shower had the most and leaks really bad through the doors.. The housekeeper is also the chef. Breakfast was disappointing as well. Also there’s no place to leave your bags/luggage..Contacted hotels.com and they couldn’t get ahold of them either. We continuously tried to reach out and no luck. Not how we wanted to spend my partners birthday and our engagement. I’m pretty embarrassed for booking this place to celebrate us and the hotel should be really be ashamed of themselves.

- CHRISTINE (10/5): - Staff was super friendly and helped with reservations and taxi needs. Room was quite large and spacious. The only downside was the shower/tub. The shower head made it to where you had to get really close to the front edge of the tub to get it to go over your head. The shower half door wasn’t sealed well so water would spill out and the tub was so deep that it was difficult to step out without worrying about falling. Overall we would definitely stay there again.

Monica was outstanding and super knowledgeable, recommending places to eat including one (pasta in Corso) that we loved so much we visited 5 times! Very clean and comfortable room with a complimentary bottle of wine too. Can’t wait to come back!

- Monica (10/5): - First time staying at a bed and breakfast type lodging. I loved the experience. There is not a 24/7 person available at check in desk but they have a 24/7 number for any issues. Both Francesco and Monica were very nice and suggested very good recommendations. The experience was unique and the location is fantastic and walking distance from all major landmarks. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

The location is perfect for site seeing, dining, and shopping. We walked everywhere! The breakfast was very average and the room was nice but basic - not what we expected for the price we paid. The bathroom and shower were both good!
- Anish (8/5): - Overall the guest house is excellent, based just on its location, literally 30 seconds from the Pantheon. The rooms are clean and there is someone available in person during the day and by WhatsApp 24hrs. We did have no internet for a couple of days which I suspect was by freak chance.
- Paul (8/5): - Great location at the heart of Rome. Very welcoming and lovely clean room with lots of storage. Although a minor point the breakfasts were terrible and I would suggest opting to avoid if you can. Surly service, stale croissants in a very cramped room.

- Tamarra (10/5): - Great place right next to Pantheon. We walked everywhere. 25 minutes to Colosseum in one direction. 25 minutes to Vatican in other direction. Trevi, Spanish Steps. The room is big. We had 2 bedrooms, one bath and it was great. Staff was amazing. Breakfast is pastries, fruit,toast. Staff will make you a cappuccino. Monica at front desk deserves a raise. Don’t bring her food. She is on a diet and has no willpower 😂😂. She’s a great and very funny. You won’t regret staying here.

- Dean (8/5): - The hotel was very convenient and easy waling distance from pretty much everything. Around 30 min to Colosseum and Vatican were longest walks. The hotel was not as sound-proof meaning we could hear outside activities. No suggestion of room upgrade or gift although we didn't ask. Would have been nice to have at least one hot option for breakfast.
- Maria (10/5): - Excellent boutique hotel with solid four star amenities in the heart of rome. Older building meticulously and tastefully refurbished to give one a sense of having own place in Rome. Reception not 24 hrs but this adds to the personalized nature of the experience with staff when on duty during the day making sure you are made to feel at home. Excellent linen quality and in-room amenities. Steps from the Pantheon, via del Corso and everywhere you need to be in Rome. A rare spot. Breakfast selections are good for the boutique nature of the establishment although not as decadent as many larger Roman four star hotel selections. Highly recommend for both family and romantic getaways.
