- NickGFC67 (10/5): A lovely short stay - Stayed for 1 night this week in an Executive room. Room was large and very comfortable with all the amenities we could want. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was lovely with hot items cooked to order.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend
- johnchv (8/5): Great location, Clean - Not far from my office so thought I would try it. Check in was great and fast, the person at the front desk was very helpful. The room was large and everything worked. Only couple things about the hotel room. the floors were very squeaky, that includes the room upstairs. So that woke me up a couple times. The bathroom was large but had a tiny vanity with no counter space, could also use more lighting in the bathroom. I did like the fact that there was water and soda for free in the mini fridge. Nice touch.
The Hotel restaurant was not very appealing. there was no in there and I asked the guy about beer and he said they had only two kinds in bottles. So i went to a pub.
- Charley (10/5): Fantastic hotel, we'll be back! - Good-sized room, comfortable bed and big shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. We loved the hotel and will visit again. It was all good.

- DigbyRose (10/5): Gem in a great location - Really wonderful hotel, did not feel like your typical London box hotel room considering the budget we were working with. It was spacious and fresh, loved the four poster bed. Bathroom was huge. Staff were knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Short walk to Tower hill tube and DLR and lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. Well worth signing up to become a club member for the late checkout too. We went to the Thai restaurant a few doors down which gives you a 15% discount as a guest of Hotel Indigo and had a wonderful meal. I would definitely stay here again if wanting to be in this area of London.
- Thomas (8/5): Thankbyou - The location was perfect for my work.

Special thanks to Darya, Vika, Ksenia from the reception. 🙁 nothing

Emplacement. L'absence de Netflix ou autres sur le téléviseur.
- Fatemeh (6/5): - I had a really good stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the location was great with easy access to different places. My stay was comfortable and smooth overall, and I’m happy with my choice. A couple of small things could be improved. There was no toothbrush provided in the room, and the walls weren’t very soundproof. At night, I could hear people walking by and moving around, which made it a bit harder to sleep.
- travellingone17 (8/5): Accessible and clean hotel away from the central - Hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from tower bridge, 3-5 minutes walk from 2 subway station with multiple bus services within reach. Overall has great connectivity to public transport though not located centrally to most attractions (for tourist).
Was initially assigned a room on higher floor but had excess sounds from above over the night, feedback to the front desk and they promptly provided a change in room since there was availability. Room is decently sized but amenities you will need (additional toiletries free but upon request). Bed is pretty comfortable as well.
Breakfast with compliments as diamond member located at basement, with a limited selection of hot dish (1 main hot dish to choose from daily) with buffet spread of pastries, fruits and salad. Selection is ok for a day or two but will be repetitive for extended stays. Food tastes pretty nice and served fresh.
There is no gym on site but complimentary entry pass to Fitness First across the street is provided (closed on weekends). Staff are friendly and helpful whenever needed.
Overall a decent property if you don’t mind the extra traveling time between city centre.
- ANASTASIA (10/5): - Great breakfast! Friendly staff!
Right in the heart of the City of London! All good!
- Md Ezazul (2/5): Find a cokeroch in the booklet - Poor 🥲 🥲🥲🥲
- carolynecurtis (10/5): Fantastic hotel and staff - We booked one night due to its proximity and it didn't disappoint. From easy booking via the IHG website to a super smooth check in, everything about this hotel has been spot on.
I don't know what the scent is but when you walk into reception, it smells divine! The staff were incredibly polite & professional and ensured we had everything we required. We were kindly upgraded as I am a IHG member and our room was spotless, & well maintained with everything we needed and more.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was powerful (and most welcome on the wet cold evening we visited) & the small finishing touches made such a difference. This included a quality hair dryer, coffee machine and a fluffy bath robe. I've even got the Bluetooth clock on order (don't bother with a charging wire, just lay your phone on the top!)
We're in central London, so you'll always have noise from the roads but I have to say, aside from a few sirens, we heard nothing on the 4th floor.
This is a great hotel to stay at and we'll definitely be back!

- Carolyn (9/5): A good price for a very pleasant room - We had an upgrade and the room was very pleasant, and a large double bed that was very comfortable. Staff were lovely. The price was good on a Sunday evening. It was all fine, actually.
- Alexandra (8/5): -
- Gareth (1/5): I never went there as you cancelled it - I never got to stay as you cancelled my booking for no reason As above
- Catriona (8/5): Clean, well-equipped rooms with some minor issues - Clean, well-equipped room. Coffee machine and complementary minibar were a nice bonus. The floors are wood - they look good but it means you can hear people moving around in the room above you (very clearly and noisely). My double mattress dipped down on either side, which wasn’t very comfortable.
- Tom (10/5): -
- James (8/5): - The hotel decor and staff The standard room is quite small
- JJVADorset (8/5): Small and quiet - We spend 3 nights here, check in was smooth and staff friendly. The hotel is small and quiet and only a few minutes walk to Tower Hill underground and Tower Bridge. Loads of places to eat nearby. The bed comfortable, room had safe and fridge which contained two cans of coke, two bottles of water and a twix. The bathroom is a walk in shower (no bath) with toiletries to use. The breakfast room is on -1 and is a continental buffet, cooked is ordered separately if required.
- smn80 (8/5): -
- Rosa (9/5): Lavoro e luminarie natalizie - Posizione rispetto all’ufficio Colazione poco varia
- Alan (10/5): -
- irina (7/5): Satisfied - The bed and ammenities The corporate policy of leaving bank card details as deposits, we were led to believe we will have or requested booking in time
- Margaret (10/5): -
- Claire (10/5): Beautiful large modern room. Friendly staff - Clean. Great room. Modern facilities Nothing
- phillip (5/5): -
- Leanne (5/5): - Room was nice breakfast was nice The bed was so uncomfortable didn’t sleep
- Kathrin (7/5): -
- Susan (9/5): Ideal location - Lovely decor and very comfy bed I couldn’t work out how to turn the bathroom radiator on that was the only tiny negative
- Anna (5/5): Prelevati due importi superiori a 100 sterline per deposito cauzionale , quindi ridotta la mia carta di credito, persona - Posizione Gestione cauzione
- Paul (10/5): -
- pwelch (8/5): The hotel smells heavenly… - Had a lovely check in experience by Natalia who welcomed me as a Diamond Elite. I opted for breakfast and she confirmed my room had been upgraded to a King on the 7th floor with a city view.
I must say, apart from the Gherkin I could barely make out Tower Bridge in the distance but the thought definitely counts and the room was lovely.
You do get some Coke, Diet Coke, Water and snacks in the room and the hotel was offering room service as well as offering a bar which I didn’t have time to use.
I feel as if the hotel could do with a bit of a renovation, it’s been many years since I first stayed here shortly after it opened and I’d say decor has moved on. Saying that, if you get a good rate the staff are lovely and the location is good, just moments away from Aldgate or Tower Hill stations.
They kindly kept my luggage for the day and I had wonderful interactions with the staff and would certainly stay again.
- James (10/5): A great Japanese themed hotel - A great Japanese themed hotel, done to a high standard. The four poster bed was great
- Irene (9/5): London-City - Sehr sauberes Hotel in zentraler, ruhiger Stadtlage, äußerst freundliches Personal an Rezeption, sehr bequeme Betten und 1a-Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche, 2 U-Bahn-Stationen, gute Restaurants und Frühstückscafés in nächster Umgebung. Es gab leider keine Garderobe bzw. Garderobehaken für Mäntel/Jacken im Zimmer. Diese mussten über die Zimmersessel ausgebreitet werden.
- Samantha (9/5): - The hotel was spotlessly clean, our room was spacious with little extras that make the difference. Bed and pillows comfy and room tastefully decorated.
The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
We had breakfast that was freshly made each morning unlike others that provide buffet style.
Fabulous stay
- Eleanor (10/5): Lovely London trip - All the staff were polite and professional. Great location for tube and river boat No shower cap..
- Carl (9/5): Parfait !

- Sunshine27072061205 (8/5): One night in London - We had a lovely welcome from the reception team at the indigo , check in was slick and although we were early our room was ready.
The room itself is not huge but adequate and the bed v comfortable
The window also opened a little to get some air in .
The bathroom is small but has everything you need, including toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, all v pleasant!
Our room rate included the mini bar contents and breakfast.
Breakfast had a cold buffet and a cooked to order hot choice which was lovely, the waiter was a sweetheart .
As it was my Husband's birthday they also gave us vouchers for a drink on the bar which was a nice touch.
Location, super easy to walk to from Tower Hill tube station.
We visited the titanic exhibition at Canada water, horizon 22, city cruises , the mj musical and titanique, all on separate reviews.
A great stay, thankyou

- Vanessa (10/5): Excellent hotel for a central London stay - Lovely welcoming staff on reception desk, room was great, much bigger than expected for central London, very clean, great little extras, kettle and coffee machine, fridge in room with a selection of complimentary soft drinks and snacks, toiletries etc. Location was great, 2 minute walk from tube. Definitely will stay here again.
- Mark (10/5): Weekend break - Polite and friendly staff on reception. Lovely clean room.

- RickC714 (8/5): a nice quiet spot in the middle of London - i don't like traveling to London. in fact i would go as far as to say i hate London. it smells, is too noisy and far too peopley for my liking. Sadly my work means i have to go there every now and then.
The hotel Indigo made my last stay far more pleasant than a lot of my previous visits. The rooms, whilst not big, were not boxes. The aircon worked and didn't sound like a jet engine. Rooms were free of road traffic noise and the breakfast was freshly cooked and used good quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful.
when you travel for business having a decent hotel to stay in can make a huge difference to your workday. I went into work the following morning feeling refreshed and not grumpy (which can sometimes be the case if i have had a poor nights sleep).
Its still London and therefore there were lots of people about but the hotel felt like it was not in the centre of London - things were relaxed and calm.
will return on my next visit
- Laura (10/5): Would stay again - Smart modern and clean.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do more for me.
Super polite and chatty, made me feel really welcome There was a fault with the lift - it doesn't stop on 5th floor. This was explained up front and will be temporary. This is only an observation for anyone who may travel soon after 14th August 25 if they have mobility issues, ask to be on any other floor.
- Alpha (10/5): - Great hotel, friendly staff. The only thing I found ‘unfair’ which is why I marked down on price is because a family member also booked and paid £60 less for their room which when we arrived was the same type of room.

- actimetraveller1 (10/5): Outstanding Stay – One of the Best IHG Hotels I’ve Visited! - We stayed at Hotel Indigo Tower Hill on 2nd August while visiting London for a concert to celebrate my friend’s birthday – and the experience was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Before our arrival, I had some concerns about the distance to Wembley Stadium, so I called the hotel reception. The staff member I spoke to was incredibly helpful and reassuring, explaining the nearby tube options clearly, including which line to take and where the nearest station was. This really helped put me at ease and made planning our journey much smoother.
Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed as an IHG member and personally thanked – a small but meaningful gesture that set the tone for our stay. To our delight, we were upgraded to a suite, which was such a thoughtful touch and really made our celebration feel that bit more special.
The ladies at reception were exceptionally polite and friendly throughout our visit – a real credit to the hotel.
As for the room – it was fantastic. I’ve stayed in numerous IHG hotels over the years, and I can honestly say this is one of the best. Stylish, clean, comfortable, and with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quality stay in London with excellent customer service. We’ll definitely be back!
- Neil (10/5): Fantastic - Amazing hotel - great location near tower bridge, fantastic room and lovely staff. Nit much more you can add - one of the best London hotels
- TampaCynthiaW (4/5): Definitely needs a makeover - at least buy some new towels - We are currently staying here. I would have given it a 1 but the front desk girls are very sweet and it’s not their fault that this hotel is a huge disappointment. We stayed here 10 years ago and loved it but it’s really gone downhill.
My husband is a Platinum member of IHG. We were given a room on the first floor overlooking a group of homeless people sitting by a parking garage. The 2 towels in the bathroom look older than 10 years - totally ratty and discolored. And like another reviewer mentioned - no wash clothes. Actually there’s not much in the bathroom. A tiny bar of soap on the sink, no hand towels, and that’s it. The shower is a rain head but it seems like water doesn’t come out of all of the holes. And you have to ask for a shower cap (which is sort of needed with this kind of shower head). I made the reservation for 2 people but they only provide one bathrobe. You have to ask for a second. There is a dresser but the drawers don’t really open.
The front desk girls said that they didn’t have my husband’s IHG number in the booking which I find really odd since we usually book IHG properties directly from their site. But even when we told her at check in that he was a platinum member there was no attempt to provide a better room. I did complain about the room but she said she would ask her manager about changing the room tomorrow. It’s really not worth it to do that. But pretty sad that a front desk person wouldn’t have the authority to handle it. We did remember last time that there was a non alcoholic mini bar for free but the front desk was clear to tell us (and she repeated herself twice) that we only get the mini bar for the first night and if we eat anything from it tomorrow we will be charged. Really? There is ONE Snickers bar, ONE granola bar, 2 sodas and 2 waters. It’s not like it is a stocked refrigerator.
We already have a prepaid room again for 2 weeks from now. If we hadn’t prepaid it, I would cancel. Seriously disappointed.
I’ve never written a review while we were still
on property but this is not even up
to Holiday Inn Express standards.
