- 66elhamn (2/5): City centre hotel - It is one of my worst experience ever I have, I don't recommend this hotel , reception staff was too rude and impolite, as I read Google reviews, I found out that most of the people weren't satisfied with this hotel especially it's reception staff, but I didn't care and afterwards I regretted, please you care about it. the room was too small and it smelt bad. It wasn't clean, and I wasn't satisfied with it's breakfast. This hotel doesn't deserve 4 star.

The room was spotless, including the washroom, and I loved having a small balcony that let in fresh air. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes, all served on a rooftop with a stunning waterfront view. The location was perfect, with all the amenities and charming local cafes within walking distance—some even open 24 hours! It truly added to the convenience and charm of the stay. I can’t wait to come back to this wonderful place again. Highly recommended

- RosaaaN (4/5): Don’t go here honestly! Not a 4 star! - They call it 4 star for a reason but unfortunately here in istanbul most 4 star hotels think they should serve the lowest of qualities! I like the Beyoğlu neighborhood i think it’s very fun and cute if you’re looking for tiny local streets, but this hotel is just not it! The rooms are small but that’s not the worst thing; it’s very dirty looking, it’s obvious they haven’t cleaned the walls nor painted them for years, the decoration is wrecked and old!! The bathroom is a joke; small sink, no towel holders and tacky lighting. There’s nothing in the mini fridge if you’re looking for anything there’s nothing in there, actually It’s not a fridge it’s a cooler and it takes forever to cool something. I’ve never seen this before but the hotel puts paper cups in the rooms. When i asked why they said they’re not allowed to put glass. There no simple utensil for even peeling an apple! The hotel’s front door opens to the most crowded and lousy view! The valet looks like a yard sail and there are lots of cars just parked back to back. The breakfast is the only thing that is kinda okay, there’s good food but the variety isn’t much according to a 4 star. Overall from my experience you can just go there if you don’t care for the stars or the money you pay, simply just for the neighborhood and a place to sleep. Don’t have any other expectations!
- 478fereshtehm (2/5): Beautiful Istanbul with low quality hotels - As much as we enjoyed our trip to Istanbul, we regretted our stay in this hotel Instead of a double room with a third bed, they gave us a twin room without a third bed. After asking for an extra bed, they brought the third bed and placed it in front of the room door in such a way that we could only walk on the beds and there was no room left to walk in the room. It was hard to close the door of the room...We had to arrange the room ourselves!!! Our room was on the first floor with a window facing the walls of other rooms with a very horrible and dirty view... dark and without light... the sheets were dirty and had holes... the rooms were not cleaned every day and worst of all We had a bad memory of this hotel: On the last day, due to our haste, we left one of our packages, which contained our purchases from Istanbul, in the room, and despite the follow-up and calls we had with them, they said that there was nothing in the room and nothing was left. Don't make your trip bitter by staying in this dirty and awful guest house, especially since unfortunately they are not reliable for storing your personal belongings in the hotel..
- Reza (2/5): Worst stay of my entire Life - The worst hotel ever. It claims to have 4 stars, but unfortunately, it shouldn’t have any. The personnel were extremely rude, and the condition of the hotel was awful. Everywhere was full of dust. The rooms were very tiny, so much so that you couldn’t even find space for your luggage. I am extremely ashamed of the staff's behavior. The two women receptionists were so aggressive and fought with every customer about the hotel’s condition. There is no customer service at this hotel.

Good room service and concierge. Overall an okeyish hotel definitely not a 4 star.

Concierge: ⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏼 I had to find the place and people inside before they can come and help, but they were helpful. Welcome : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Receptionist was helpful and have a good command over English, Thank God finally. But I was asked to deposit £100 as hotel policy and they won’t take a credit or debit card !!! This was not mentioned on Hotel.com during booing or anything. Room: ⭐️ This is a cage not a hotel room, too small for a double bed and two people to stay and move around. Very old building and old set up. Need to refresh everything. Bed is uncomfortable and there is no A/C while the city is warmed to 22 degrees … definitely not a 4 star hotel Breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Restaurant and view are fab 👌🏽, but the food choices were poor and not being filled up as they were getting empty. Good luck if you would find anything after 9am even though they closed at 10:00am. Mehmet from the restaurant was very helpful and got food for me from the kitchen as they won’t fill up the empty tray… 😕 Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location of the hotel is great 👍🏼. Overall: ⭐️⭐️ Overall this hotel shouldn’t be rated over 2 star, they need to modernise it further to get more star and focus on guest comfort and care.
- violetg560 (2/5): The Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had! - pleeease don't go! I cannot emphasize enough how terrible my experience was at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff, who were Iranian, were incredibly rude and unhelpful. On the first night, the room they gave us was so small that it didn't even have enough space for our luggage, and it was way below the standard size. When we tried to address this issue, they refused to refund our money and forced us to find another hotel for the night. We later discovered that this is a common practice for them, as we spoke to several other guests who had similar experiences. After spending a night at another hotel, we reluctantly returned to this awful establishment only because we had already paid for our stay. The room they gave us was still subpar, and the only reason we stayed was to avoid losing more money. To make matters worse, the hotel's breakfast was of terrible quality and offered very limited options. It was easily one of the worst meals I've ever had. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The staff's appalling behavior, the substandard rooms, and the abysmal breakfast are just a few of the reasons why this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and affordable prices - The whole staff were really great...Especially I would like to thank Ela and Metin for their kindness.The hotel's location is great (you can reach the hotel by 3 mins walk from taksim sq or metro line and 10 minutes walk from airport shuttle bus stop) and the prices are affordable.The breakfast is open buffet and its nice.And the breakfast hall view is amazing.The rooms are clean and comfortable.But the only things i can criticise are; First of all,though the hotel is quiet,the bar across the hotel is extremely noisy until midnight ,its such a noisy music that even the good isolation on the windows cannot prevent it and if you are sensitive on noises you cant sleep early...the size of the standart room is small and the size of the bahtroom (especially the shower cabin)is really too narrow...And it can take some time to use the elevator around breakfast time because its small,busy and there is only one.I can rate my staying as 8 out of 10 but considering the affordable price of the room that minus 2 points makes no problem at all.

Once we hade a problem with the fridge they change it in just 5 minutes. The room was spacious and always clean. The breakfast was really good, fresh and delicious, the restaurant has a great view. Elahe at the reception was super nice, helpful and caring, if you need anything she is eager to help, she is a professional. Access to Esteghlal Street and Taksim Square was good. It is difficult to enter the hotel (lobby) because it has 7 or 8 steps and if you have heavy luggage, no one will help you.

Floor to 8th.Floor are very very dangerous , no rails on each side , steps are very high , when coming down there is Big Bar on the floor , so if you cought to that Step Bar , you will be killed . Staff is totally unhelpful . I asked receptionist night before I left to wake me 4.00 am as my Taxi was booked for 4.30 am , Receptionist gave me Alarm Call at 4.23 am , so i had No time to get ready . Only thing was that hotel is in the center of city . BUT I ADVISE EVERYONE , DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL , POOR SERVICE AND DANGEROUS PLACE TO STAY AND ABOVE ALL IT'S NOT 4 STAR STANDARD HOTEL ......

- Fabulous_hairsalon (2/5): Worst hotel - Me and my partner booked via online ot was very hard to get to the hotel due to the traffic around the area but at last we get to manage tomgwt to our hotel. At first we we're exited to get to our room and get a bath and head to the coffee but when we get ro the room the floor carpet stinks and couldn't able to settle and we had to run off and told to the receptionist but they seem a bit rude and they didn't wanna help. So we decided to book another hotel eventhough we lost our money. My advice stay away from that hotel specially for whome who have difficulty for breathing or allergy.

I Receptionen var det en hjälplig tjej som är mångspråkig och det e det bästa i vistelse. Gymet och spa var stängda pga pandemin. Jag är tveksam att boka igen det hotellet .

La chambre était petite, la moquette pas très nette. Il y avait bien une bouilloire mais ni thé, ni café (alors pourquoi une bouilloire ?). Le matelas en revanche était très confortable et l'hotel très bien placé.

Second, there was no AC in the rooms and their reason was that it’s already November and they cannot turn on the AC, tho the weather outside was extremely sunny and 28! I explained to the management that this is a personal choice and they cannot oblige and impose their point of view on the customer, and that at least they should have mentioned this before reservation, so the customer knows. Anyway, the lobby guy told me, with anger, “if you don’t like you can choose another hotel”. I directly checked out and canceled my reservation and they didn’t accept to refund my money even tho I didn’t use the room not even 1 second. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

- Emre (2/5): Bad service - Hello, I'm so unhappy and uncomfortable about my booking when I arrived at the hotel receptions he's so grumpy and unprofessional first had can't find my reservation then he tries to give me a single room for two people than I tell him I booked a double or triple room I show him my confirmation. He said if I give extra money then he can give me a different room but I don't accept. I wait a long time and chat with him, finally, he gives room but room dirty doesn't work a/c and tv too cold and dirty room. I call him about my problems he said if I don't like I can go to a different hotel. If my mom not sick and tired trust me I want to go somewhere. In the morning last shocked is breakfast because no bread and tea! I want refund my money

- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid! - The first night the front desk called and offered my friend "two professional ladies for him to see"...we ALL know what that means... The food was sub par, the accommodations were uncomfortable and dirty. The complimentary shampoo, lotion etc. was half empty upon arrival, they demanded our friend leave the room (he just came up for a few minutes and made no noise) or we would have to pay for an additional person to stay with us. We opted to do so, then they told us we should get him a separate room (we refused). Many staff barely speak English, so good luck with any help. The walls are thin and nonsmoking rooms stink of smoke. The only plus is the hotel is close to downtown Taksim, but we couldn't wait to get the hell out of that hotel.

Carpet full of stains inside rooms and in corridors. Some rooms are too small but that's ok if all you're looking for is a bed and shower at the end of the day. Breakfast was basic. Staff was ok considering they don't speak English.
- Yammy (8/5): I got my painting back!! Hooray! - I booked the small single room for my first night stay in Istanbul. However, the following day coincided with the 1st Anniversary of the protests that began in Gezi park, part of Istanbul’s Taksim Square, which became the epicenter of a nationwide violent protest... I called the hotel from London asking to cancel the room (but my booking was non-refundable). After a few emails and calls, the hotel manager allowed me to change the night instead of cancelling. That was really understanding and I really appreciated that. During my stay, although the room was super small and barely left the space to walk after I opened my (huge) luggage, I still enjoyed my time there. They have hamami where guests can use for free and their breakfast was nice. On the check-out day, I left my luggage and painting with the hotel and came back to collect them in the evening. They, unfortunately, threw my painting away (it was rolled inside a plastic bag...so they might not see how beautiful it was! lol). I insisted that the painting was really important as I painted myself. After half an hour, the staff came back with my painting!! He said he went to the trash.........and found it there. Well, this was beyond my expectation and I didn't know how to thank him enough for doing this.
