- Therese (9/5): - Väldigt tillmötesgående personal i receptionen!
- EMIKO (10/5): Comfortable & relaxing stay at Saigon Domaine - Stunning river view, good breakfast, spacious room, friendly staff None
- Jean-Loic (9/5): I recommend this romantic location for families and kids. I’ll come back. - Very quiet and amazing location on the riverbank, despite the proximity of the center of Saigon so noisy and polluted. Nice building with spectacular views and lovely decoration. My appartment was spacious and very pleasant to live in.

- CHIA HUI (7/5): - 原本早餐是著名到餐廳裡面吃,但是到了現場才發現早餐是以單點是送到房內吃,這跟原本訂房時所註明的不符合
- CHIA HUI (7/5): - 早餐與訂房時所講的不符合
- Benedict (10/5): Saigon Domaine – A Riverside Haven of Refined Luxury - Tucked gracefully along the banks of the Saigon River, Saigon Domaine offers a sanctuary of elegance that feels worlds away from the city’s vibrant pulse. This discreet retreat embodies understated luxury, where timeless design meets contemporary comfort.
The suites are a true highlight – expansive and meticulously appointed, they exude a sense of sophisticated ease. High ceilings, warm wood tones, and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, framing serene river views. We had 3 amazing bedrooms. Every detail speaks of quiet refinement: plush bedding that cocoons you in comfort, marble-accented bathrooms designed for indulgence, and private balconies that invite unhurried mornings and golden sunsets. It is less a hotel room than a curated residence.
The facilities elevate the experience to an art form. The riverside pool, shimmering beneath tropical skies, is a haven of calm where the city feels like a distant memory. Landscaped gardens lend a sense of seclusion. The dining experience is equally noteworthy – fresh, vibrant flavors presented with finesse, best enjoyed on the terrace.
What sets Saigon Domaine apart is its atmosphere of cultivated serenity. It is a place where luxury whispers rather than shouts, where service is intuitive yet unobtrusive, and where every moment feels imbued with a rare sense of harmony.
For discerning travelers seeking both refinement and respite, Saigon Domaine is more than a destination – it is an experience to be savored, remembered, and returned to. Nothing
- Hanh (10/5): -
- Levi (7/5): - The quite location and helpful staff. Views were amazing from the river side. Lots of space for the price too.
Breakfast was good. The hotel facilities and decor felt a bit tired.. felt a bit quiet like we were only a few people staying there. Maybe wouldn't recommend if you want to meet other people or want an atmosphere.
The street outside was crazy busy and hard to walk as no pavement!

- Gary (8/5): - spacious room, great view Breakfast is disappointing, very limited and not customizable
Wifi only extends a few metres from source, wasn't available in bedroom for instance
3 or 4 attempts over 2 days to get TV working, eventually replaced TV
- Pierre (10/5): - Very friendly staff.
- Kylie (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (10/5): Facilities good, location distance, nearby restaurants good - The facilities were very good and clean. I workout room was good to use. Enough equipment to get a good workout. The breakfast was okay. A limited menu but the food was good I ordered. Housekeeping was very good, very clean If you’re on vacation the main sites took some time to get to. Only one main road to get in and out of the area.
- Kai (10/5): Amazing stay in HCMC! Highly recommend it - What an amazing stay! As a family with 2 children, we were looking for a hotel with a kitchen in the room. We were not disappointed!
The room, which actually is an apartment, is huge! All amenities are present, kitchen materials included.
We also enjoyed the great hotel restaurant! Thanh Da neighborhood is great. You are close by city center, but feel relaxed in this neighborhood where nature is still present.
Based on the receptionist’s recommandation, we enjoyed walks alongside the river.
All in all, we highly recommend Saigon Domaine and will come back for sure! Nothing, all was great!
- Minh (9/5): Superb - Significant river view from the balcony, nice and warm staffs, affordable price. We often stay at Saigon Domaine every time visiting Saigon city.
- Tristan (10/5): Definitively a place to relax, stunning views, an oasis of authenticity. - Breakfast: I took the local dishes and it was great. Vietnamese food is one of the very best in the world, this is great to be able to get real local breakfast.
Shuttle: I was surprised to have a free shuttle minibus to City Center, that's awesome.
View: The most stunning views I ever had in Ho Chi Minh City. From everywhere you see the river. The Sky View looking at Thao Dien and City Center are spectaculars.
Overall we loved the location in this authentic island of Thanh Da surrounded by the river. Walking/Jogging/Biking in this preserved island is so unexpected in such a growing and polluted City. By the way, there are quite a lot of interesting entertainment ecological places around to visit.
The building quality is great. It is not a new hotel, therefore it gets its identity and charm. Swimming pool is great.
We will definitively return here, specially with the kids. Pool is great and direct river access to watch the sunset is unforgivable. There is no restaurant, just a room service menu dedicated to Vietnamese food, mostly. So you need to go out or order food. But, as the units are all Suites we had our own kitchen to cook. By the way, there is an open market just a few minutes away, it is fresh food and authentic.
The place is an ecological location within the City, about 15-20 minutes from the active shopping center. So, you must be aware there are not boutique shops, etc ...
- Scott (9/5): Superb - This was our second stay here. We really love the Saigon Domaine, especially the location right on the river.
- iainl446 (10/5): Outstanding location and service - We have been coming here for the past 10 years. It is not in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City which gives you a much quieter setting with picturesque view over and along the River Saigon. The staff are extremely polite and helpful and the service is immediate on any request. the gardens are a true delight and the swimming pool is spotlessly cleaned every day. Your rooms are cleaned every day and clean towels are provided every day except Sundays. Free transport into the city centre id offered every morning.
- Benedict (10/5): Amazing stay - can't wait to come back! - We loved our stay so much! Being so close to buzzing Saigon, but on Thanh Da Island, the last ecological and typical neighborhood of Saigon, is a treat! We came with our 2 children and were treated with 2 great rooms. Actually, these are apartments rather than rooms, which was super convenient. We like having a kitchen and a living room. The apartment was more than 130 m2 and had nice views of Saigon River.
Staff was great, fluent in English (not always the case in Saigon) from the front office, to the room service. Room service was great with typical Vietnamese meals.
Price is more than correct.
We will come back for sure!
- Nigel (8/5): Very good -
- Nabeela (9/5): Saigon Beauty! - Beautiful spacious apartments
Well kept and clean with all the necessary amenities
Staff are really helpful and kind
We were left stranded at midnight by the accommodation that we booked- Saigon Domaine took us in at midnight with a warm welcome!
Beautiful views overlooking the river Slightly out of central areas- we didn't mind as nice and quiet and tranquil to return to
- Mansoor (10/5): New Year Eve Feedback - Amazing view, apartment space, cleanliness are the highlights of 10C. Front office support, breakfast arrangements was good.
- Lan (8/5): Very good -
- Niall (8/5): Very good - apartment was great externally, gardens and pavings were run down
- austinhV6592AX (2/5): Be super careful of the fraudulent Manager he will cheat you. Our group is has been a victim for many years - My group of 12 friends and I have been staying at this property for since 2010. That is over 14 years . The devious and shady Leasing Manager has been cheating us out of our money ever since. His name is Nguyen Hieu Loc. We have all the invoices as evidence. His cunning mischievous ways thinks it ok to cheat guest out of their money, thinking he his slick. Due to the fact our group trusted him, which was a huge mistake on our part. DO NOT believe anything he says, it is nothing but LIES!!!
We do not want him to cheat any other guest in the future, from their money that they work so hard for. Like he did to us. He charged our group twice as much the going standard retail rate.
We are infuriated and beyond angry. We are all in the process of writing a one star bad review and hoping this DOES NOT happen to anyone else.
We were loyal guests since 2010 and he still treated us like trash and cheating us out of our money, so imagine what will do a new guest!!!
In some of the reviews down, you can read and see that this awful Manager does not care about guests at all. One guests slipped, fell, injured herself (which could of been prevented btw) When she told the Manager, not only did he not try to fix the problem, he walked away and said he didn’t want to talk to her!! And if you read some of the other reviews. Whenever other problems arise, and guest would like speak to the Manager, we would never be present! Simply pathetic!!! A manager that has zero concern for guests’ safety concerns and only wants to swindle guests out of their money. What kind of Manager does that?
Our group really really hopes this DOES NOT happen to anyone else. And there is a very true saying in Life.. “THOUGH THEY INTEND YOU HARM, THE SCHEMES THEY DEVISE, WILL NOT PREVAIL..” The true light will always shine through
There is a very popular saying in KARMA.. “there comes a time in life when people will regret what people have done to you. Trust me, it will come..” And the Manager’s time has come, we are thankful that we found out now, because if not, he probably would have cheating us for money for another 10 years. KARMA WILL SPARE NO ONE!!
He even tried to apologize knowing he was wrong, and I have the screenshot for those as well. I told him he can apologize on Trip Advisor
- Diane (10/5): One of our favorite spots to escape the city but only be a quick taxi ride away from any attraction in HCMC. - Beautiful view of the river from the apartment, very clean and well appointed, pool is gorgeous and very clean. Nothing, everything is great!
- Julia (9/5): I stayed overnight with my dog- was pleasant, friendly staff, comfortable room. - I stayed
- Julia (8/5): Very good - Beautiful gardens and view, nice pool
- sungtieu (10/5): Beautiful oasis within Ho Chi Minh City - Saigone Domaine is an absolute unique dream hotel with a traditional charm. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were enveloped in a sense of calm and serenity that provided a welcome escape from Ho Chi Minh city's vibrant and noisy energy.
The lush greenery, the inside garden and outside terraces create an oasis-like atmosphere, offering a peaceful retreat. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort's design is truly remarkable, reflecting the essence of Vietnam’s beauty and charm.
My stay at Saigone Domaine was exceptional. I loved the view from my apartment! The accommodations were elegant and spacious, furnished with high-quality wooden chairs and tables, providing a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional charm. My accommodation was equipped with two spacious bathroom, two terraces facing all sides of the river and a big kitchen.
I especially also enjoyed the moments of relaxation by the pool, surrounded by swaying palm trees, the Ho Chi Minh City river and the gentle melody of birdsong.
The staff at Saigone Domaine went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was unforgettable. They were very friendly, respectful and professional.
I loved staying at the residence. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or as a longer term residence. I cannot recommend Saigone Domaine highly enough and look forward to returning soon for another unforgettable stay!
- I9952ZLdanielh (10/5): Amazing experience - best hotel in Saigon - I have been staying in Saigon Domaine for the past 20 years and will continue to do so in the future. Being close to city center and District 1, but away from the crowd and pollution is incredible. Saigon Domaine is also next to Sai Gon river. The neighborhood is the last one in Saigon to be surrounded by nature. Rooms are actually apartments (the smallest is over 70 m2) and they are furnished with a kitchen, enabling you to cook or buy grocery should you want to. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Saigon Domaine and will be back soon!
- Frederic (10/5): Very nice hotel overlooking the Saigon river - the room
- Sari (10/5): Loved our stay! - Love the view from the balcony! Spacious and perfect layout.
- Terance (9/5): Superb -
- Winter_wonderlands (2/5): Do not stay here - Terrible hotel and management. The awful manager has been reviewed similarly by others in booking.com
The flats are large with nice views and the security staff are nice. Otherwise, I cannot say anything positive.
Owner/manager doesn’t care about safety issues, aircon doesn’t work properly, and many services advertised don’t exist (eg no kids pool, no boat shuttle). The pool area was dirty and nobody else was there. The ‘floating’ platform was in disrepair and closed off.
When I was going out of the hotel, I slipped on some very wet slippery mud that was on the hotel’s front pathway. I injured my neck and arm, and permanently damaged clothing that was covered in mud. My injury has ruined my holiday.
The injury I experienced from falling is the fault of the hotel and was preventible by them. It was 3 hours after the rain stopped and yet nobody had cleaned the mud. Even after my fall, nobody cleaned it, which could risk another guest. Short term hotel guests would not know about the risk. It was dark and there was no light there. This could have been prevented if either the hotel cleaned it after the rain stopped, or there was a light in that place so people can see the slippery mud, or the hotel warned guests about it. They did none of these things, despite the reception staff knowing that when it rains the mud overflows onto the front patio of the hotel. See photos. After it happened, they still did not clean the mud and refused my suggestion to warn others.
This was also made worse by the extremely hard bed with no mattress topper. I have been travelling in Vietnam for 3 weeks, staying in many cheap hostels and guest houses costing just 10 euros per night, and have never had a problem with the beds. This is the hardest bed I have ever experienced despite travelling around many countries and staying in much cheaper accommodation. I see that other guests have complained about the beds being very hard (including a review from 9 months ago on google) but nothing was done to put mattress toppers on since then.
The air conditioning is so weak in the room that I could not sleep all night. I called reception and asked for a fan but the security said I have to wait until morning for reception to open. So I could not sleep. The air con was on the maximum setting. Despite being set to 16 degrees on maximum for the whole night and still now, in the morning it still showed as 25.5-26.5 degrees by the bed (see photos). This is not a habitable temperature to sleep. The whole hotel seems to have an air conditioning strength problem as the gym was too hot to use. Staff came to the room with a technician but they cannot do anything as the blowing is weak.
Eventually the manager agreed to refund my remaining nights and I left. I didn’t want to have to pack up and move hotels but I couldn’t stay there. I asked for compensation to be reimbursed for the 1st night due to my injury and lack of aircon and the manager walked away from me, saying ‘Im not talking to you’. Not even an offer to pay for some treatment for my neck. Terrible rude behaviour.
- Hang Thi Kim (10/5): Excellent, Nice View, and Very Large, bright Hotel - Very good hotel, large, nice view.
Staffs are very friendly.
Good breakfast,
Our family stayed in this hotel 2 times..
We really like and happy while we were staying here
- kaorinskiee (6/5): Spacious but the service was bad - Services are scaled down compared to 3-4 years ago.Big tv in living room, we cannot watch it, only stands as a stationary.
Shuttle bus is only available 3 times a day. No more shuttle ships. No buffet, breakfast at room. No options to choose juice, orange juice only..! I asked the receptions if I can borrow nail clipper, they don’t have it. Washing machine doesn’t have function of dryer.
Amenities, shampoo and body gel only. No conditioner…
So spacious rooms are nice but their service is terrible.
Far from the city centre. Probably this hotel will close soon…
- Fernando (1/5): Bad - .
House is spacious The pictures in booking.com of the facilities do not match. No kids swimming pool, no bar in the swimming pool, no restaurant, no buffet....
The hotel has been run down for a long time, no maintenance of the facilities.
- Kenggwat (10/5): The Hidden Gem of Saigon - What a totally hidden gem this place is. Over looking the Saigon river. Lovely gardens, swimming pool, sauna, gym as part of the complex. We had a fully serviced 3 bedroom apartment with large bedrooms, en-suite to master bedroom incl separate toilet with King size bed, and extra bathroom for the other two bedrooms. An extra two toilets as well. Huge lounge, dinning and 12 person balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with washing & drying machine dishwasher etc.
I have traveled the world for many years and never found accommodation like this. The staff could not have been more helpful. It is a little out of town 10 mins by taxi. Or for a local experience jump on the 44 local bus 6,000 dong and straight into town 15 mins. There is also a shuttle bus operated by the hotel.
I look forward to returning to Saigon Domain my home away from home now.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Bryan (7/5): Great apartment but a bit out of the action. - Apartment was huge. Plenty of room for a family of 4. It's a bit out of the way. Tours don't pick up from there so you have to make your own way to District 1 which is about 30 minutes away by Grab as speedboat is not operating. They gave me the contact details of a local tour guide but he never returned my email.
- 776linasz (10/5): Best value accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City - Domaine Saigon was recommended to us by a regular visitor to HCMC and we can see why. Each apartment is generous - huge. It has large and comfortable living areas, a kitchen with clothes washer and dryer, stunning bedrooms. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff are fantastic and there is daily daily shuttle buses to HCMC. Why book a hotel room when you can have real luxury!
- Søs (9/5): Superb -
- Brett (8/5): Very good -
- Leander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): - The apartment is spacious and nicely decorating. I loved the view from the balcony. The refrigerator is old and rusty, it needs to be replaced a new one. Other than that, it's pretty nice.
- Karl (1/5): Old, noisy, miss represented by photos, Avoid - There was not many people at this hotel/apartments which was good but that was due to its run down appearance. Staff were good especially the gate security. Front of house needed more knowledge and could have been more helpful but friendly enough. Nice views from upper floors. Room was large and clean. This property is not what is represented in the photos and the facility's list. This certainly not Saigon LUXURY eg restaurant, library, steam room, Buffet breakfast by the river city shuttles at advertised times, now only has one pool, fountains not working and dried up looking dirty and old grounds run down and falling apart. The hotel is wedged between a open air music place and a karaoke night club so do not expect to sleep before 10pm as music is playing full volume. The road this hotel/apartment is located has no footpaths making is very dangerous to walk anywhere with children and the shuttle bus they advertise does not operate as stated on website. In fact they will drop you of in the city weekdays but no pick up and only on Saturdays is there a pickup but at 1.30 pm far to early, it does not operate at all on Sundays. Due to this we found we were spending up to $40 US dollars a day on taxis even just to get to the shops down the road with children you need to take a taxi due to no footpath and a very busy road. The bar area opens at 6am and closes at 1pm which made no sense at all. They show a buffet breakfast and restaurant on the river but this is broken beyond repair and was fenced off for safety of guests as was the outside bar area. Breakfast was delivered to your room and with limited choices (was not the advertised buffet). The American breakfast consisted of one cold egg and sausage that had been cut in two to make two sausages lol bread was stale, and one piece of bacon cut in three to make three pieces also cold most days when delivered ( please see photos). We asked to see the manager about the breakfast sit but he refused to front and kept being told he was not there or it was his day off, Very pathetic. All facility's were very run down and or out of order. One pool was completely missing and had been filled in with dirt and grassed over WOW.

Kitchen was old and tired and had to ask for a toaster to be put in the room also no Microwave.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the river. There is a venue on the other side of the river that played very loud karaoke music outdoors one night. There's also a karaoke place next door to the hotel, but we never heard any sounds from them.
- Robin (3/5): a breakfast to remember - Friendly staff
Big apartment
nice view
comfortable furniture - buffet was included in the price, but no such thing was available. we were informed that in-room dining will be available for breakfast. the food was horrible and worse than any motel. intercontinental breakfast was horrible and insults the name breakfast. not even the pho was up to any standard. instead of the broth only hot water was used.
- shuttle boat was not available
- pool has too much chemicals in there and the surroundings look very run down. floating platform is falling apart
the asking price for the property per night and considering the value you receive for it, it is not worth it and only the big apartment does not make up for it.
- Jitendra (8/5): Very good -
- Jitendra (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (5/5): Passable - Spacious no proper lobby and car alighting area. dim lightings and old air-conditioning
- Kristi (7/5): was fine for a one night short stop between locations but would no stay for an extended period. - The 2 bedroom apartment was well appointed and spacious.
Staff spoke excellent English and were helpful. It was about 30mins from the airport in the suburbs. No real shopping close by.
Hotel is a bit run down.
- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Thuy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vipool (9/5): Superb - It was a huge apartment, with classy decor & facilities we all loved it It was poorly lit, including reception whole Apartment was poorly lit !!! In fact they had written about, free boat ride to city centre but it was not operating Hotel is in very crowded location
- W4156YZjaned (4/5): Nice apartment, not so nice neighbor hood - Nice apartment, not so nice neighbor hood
These apartments are lovely and spacious. The local area doesn’t offer much to the traveler though. You’re a long way from anything. There aren’t places or shopping in walking distance to visit. The restaurant’s nearby don’t cater to the tourists. The roads are dangerous as the footpaths are non existent and the traffic on the road is busy.
The breakfast at the apartments was very ordinary too. The pool looked nice but even though we had paid for multiple nights, we left after one. We didn’t feel particularly safe out on the streets.
- Tanya (5/5): Disappointed. - The size of rooms were fantastic and has a great view of the river from balcony. Pool looked amazing although it rained so didn’t get to use it. Fitness centre has good equipment. The manager of the property was welcoming and extremely helpful. The location wasn’t great - hard to find a decent place to eat and was told to hide my necklace under clothing before going out - felt uneasy walking out on the street after this. Didn’t see any westerners in this area at all. Breakfast was served in our room, no buffet any longer and was pretty average. booked for 2 nights initially but only stayed 1, moved location next morning
- Prigent (3/5): Poor -
- Kirk (5/5): Nice accommodation and views, but need to take care of customers more! - Beautiful views and good quality accommodation Location, miles from anywhere. was not told there was no boat taking us to District 1 until a week before we arrived. Finally, I felt we were trying to be ripped off by hotel with regards to taxis etc, they told me they could arrange a taxi to pick us up from the train station for $40 and I got a Frab taxi for $5.
- T (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ronny (10/5): - Love Saigon Domaine. after staying here we went to Park Royal Hotel which is probably one of the nicest hotels in Saigon. We ended up coming back to Saigon Domaine as it was much more comfortable and relaxed. much bigger rooms and on the river.
- bhartidai (10/5): Wonderful - We stayed here for 2 nights in February. This was a lovely change from staying in a hotel. We had a 3 double bedroom apartment, all with their own bathroom facilities. The living room, balconies - amazing views across the river, kitchen and dining areas were tastefully furnished, along with WiFi throughout. Breakfast was served by the riverside. A free speedboat shuttle was available to the city.
On the whole a brilliant stay. Would definitely return.
- decorahn (10/5): Faded Beauty - I love this well-worn, charming escape from the city. Situated on a narrow isthmus on Thanh Da island, it’s the furthest you can get from Saigon without leaving the city. The grounds are lovely; a large pool stays in the shade most of the day; the kids pool across the garden is perfect for little ones; breakfast on a floating patio on the river. You can take a swift boat ride into town and back to this wonderful little retreat. Sure, the toilets are fussy, the paint is chipped and the furniture warping - but these details are actually what endears the Domaine to me even more. Saigon these days is all glass & metal, hi-rise concrete, dime-a-dozen apartment towers. Staying at the Domaine reminds me that it used to be dark oiled wood, white plaster walls, silk lampshades and real rugs. The very best part of staying here are the attentive & accommodating staff, the river & city views, and the quiet. We love the 11th-floor four-bedroom apartments for their 180-degree views, expansive living rooms, large table for gathering, and generous balconies. This is the perfect weekend hideout for city folk, which is not to say it won’t appeal to tourists, but for us it’s Saigon’s #1 staycation.
- ShelleyD538 (10/5): A little oasis - Saigon Domaine Luxury Residences is ideal for families needing more living space than a hotel. It is a boat or taxi ride to district 1 but the fares are inexpensive and the journeys their own experience. The river setting, gardens & pools are lovely. The breakfast on the pontoon is novel and the buffet is really very good. Only location negative is that it is too dangerous to walk anywhere from the hotel with children, as there is not much of a footpath and the traffic is always hectic. The hotel was always accommodating with organising transport. The gentlemen staff do a great job with security & luggage etc and the ladies on reception couldn't be more helpful and obliging. I'd recommend the river view apartments, sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by on the water was a treat.
- Scott (10/5): - The location just outside of the city means that the traffic and noise are greatly reduced
- Al_enoo (10/5): Family one night stay - just the job! - Family one night stay - just the job! We were passing through Ho Chi Minh enroute to a destination further afield. The hotel was as described, we used the boat taxi service into the city, the staff were very helpful & friendly it all represented very good value.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very large comfortable apartment, with a good view and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice large rooms. Great that you can get free shuttle buses and/ or a speedboat into town. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Needs a bit of upgrading,, getting a bit dated and worn.
- psychestation (10/5): Private dining with a view and a speed boat service to escape the floods.. - Had a staycation for a surprise anniversary private dinner. Perfect setting with river facing unit for the event. The boat service was a great help with the seasonal high river tides that created havoc, as the traffic in town was all jammed up due to flooding in several districts.
- IamBrooksy (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay here - I arrived early before 9.30am but was able to check in. I had a huge 2br 2bath apartment 9b which has a great balcony view of the cityscape & Saigon river. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff were attentive and helpful & the grounds were well maintained. I didn't use the pools but others were. Breakfast was on the same side right on the river. Really nice omelet & other standard choices. The hotel has courtesy transfers to the city by minibus or boat which is great. I would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fabulous big appartment with view to the river. Delicious breakfast. Easy access to the rest of the city by Grab.
- Lolitadecosta (10/5): Great Place - lovely apartment - Stayed here for the weekend. The apartment was huge, clean and tidy with very good amenities. A teal ‘home from home’. The pool and breakfast area were also lovely. The hotel feels a little like it is stuck in time. The room we had was beautiful and clean but lacked a little atmosphere. There was building work going on a little further down the river which was noisy and carried on the whole weekend, even Sunday. We didn’t explore the local area as the road was busy and with no realty path to walk on. We headed into the city which was stunning and vibrant. Get the ‘grab” app as it’s similar to UBER and made getting around easy and also very cheap. We went to Propaganda to eat which was wonderful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely hotel room apartment was huge with stunning views across the river. Very well equipped.
- Thi Hien (8/5): - The location is quiet and very relax. Although the buffet has few type of meals, meal is delicious. The staff is very friendly!
- 362traceyh (10/5): Happy days..... - We have just come home after a 3 week holiday staying at the Saigon Domaine.
We won't stay anywhere else when we go to Vietnam.
The hotel is beautiful, [tle ones and their parents.
Our apartment was once again, spotlessly clean and inviting.
Three lovely bedrooms, the master leading on to the gorgeous balcony.
The bed was large and extremely comfortable with a beautiful en suite bathroom. The bathroom is spacious with a large bath, sink area, shower cubicle and seperate wc.
The whole apartment is spacious and serene.
The large lounge opens onto the balcony where you can watch the gorgeous river go by.
There was a full size, fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer and anything else you could need.
The hotel is always beautiful, quiet even when it's busy, always inviting and welcoming.
All of the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect.
The Saigon is about 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel provides transport to the city by speed boat or air conditioned mini bus.
We've had room service many times. The food is always lovely. You can also eat by the pool or on the patio area.
We absolutely love the Saigon Domaine, the people who work there are genuinely happy people who will go out of their way to help.
Ask at reception about places to visit. There are some marvellous ones.
We went to the Mekong delta which was beautiful. It was 2hrs away by speed boat. A full day with plenty to do.
Another we enjoyed was dining and cruising on the Bonsai ship. Amazing food.
There are plenty of eating places just out of the hotel if you are going out. If not, have a drink and dine on the patio watching the sunset on the river. Lovely.
We always have a wonderful time at the Saigon Domaine, we will be there again next year.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely place to relax away from the city. Service was good but very little around the hotel in terms of restaurants
- Bomber1 (10/5): Identity change? - Five stays over the past ten years is testimony as to how much we love Saigon Domaine, but this time round we did notice some changes. The property is going though a bit of an identity change at present, moving from a high percentage of long term tenants, (mainly ex pats) to a far greater number of short term holiday makers. Perhaps it’s the many positive reviews that have been posted on social network platforms such as this; perhaps it’s a more affluent Asian customer base, but for whatever reason there is a different ‘feel’ at Saigon Domaine than previously.
Couple of small but annoying issues that could so easily be addressed. Breakfasts on the pontoon - has to be the slowest, most inconsistent and annoying toaster in Asia, throws meal planning asunder. Smallest coffee cups I have ever encountered and for a country that boasts the best coffee in the world - instant, is a real let down!
Because of the different clientele Saigon Domain now attracts, scheduled boat shuttles through the course of the day, rather than early morning and late afternoon would be much appreciated.
These criticisms aside, we still love the old girl, it’s style, dignity and character - definitely our favourite place to stay in HCMC and the best staff in Saigon.
- Arthur (10/5): Great family stay - A great location overlooking the river and the city - a little out of zone 1 but for us that was a bonus getting away from it all. The complimentary speed boat shuttle into the city (20 mins) certainly makes up for it. The biggest apartment hotel suite by far we have ever stayed at - we had the 3 bed apartment equipped with a washing machine. Staff were simply brilliant - English speaking - the reception staff were particularly helpful. Breakfast was served on a floating pontoon, the selection and variety was good to suite all tastes. According to our children - the best breakfast in Vietnam. We ate dinner twice at the hotel and the food was excellent and relatively good value considering your in a hotel... We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book another 2 nights later in our trip. For the price, excellent value for money and a great option for families.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very well
everything is fine
I might going back to here next time
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Front desk was very helpful, she explained their transportation services and helpful hints around the city. Views from the hotel are amazing. The pools were fun. A shallow one for our toddler, and a deeper one for the older kids. The playroom was helpful. A room where the kids could yell and throw toys for an hour. The breakfast was okay, similar to a three star. The fruits were really sweet. We had a nice and relaxing time here. No issues.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Just stayed one night.
Upper floors have good view. You can see Saigon River. Building and facilities are bit tired though, still in good condition and clean. Room itself is spacious. It's quite calm inside the building.
Unfortunately, hotel boat is not available. But they support the transport to nearest waterbus station.
For the staff, some of them are friendly, but not all of them are nice. It's still acceptable because they can speak English so far.
- Victor (8/5): - Property is a bit old. Lack of signage of room number.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property was clean and big unit
Nice to sit out on balcony to look at the view of the river
- Mary (10/5): - Hotel apartments were amazing. So spacious, clean with excellent views. Some distance from district 1 but shuttle was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff are amazing, they are so helpful, going well out of their way to ensure you have a great stay.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice hotel, we were impressed by our room. Wish we could have stayed longer. The employees were all very nice and treated us well. I would recommend this place to anyone.....
- Ryan (10/5): - What a beautiful place. Our apartment was beautiful. Couldn't believe how big it was and how quiet considering the noise on the street. Only regret was only staying one night. Would recommend to anyone you will feel at home the second you check in.
- Louisa (10/5): - We like everything on this property, it’s like an away home where everything you need is there comfortable beds, living rooms, clean bathrooms with full kitchen, washer/dryer and even dishwasher.
The rooms are decorated beautifully and we love the convenience of shuttle bus and speed boat that bring us to the city.
Friendly and helpful front desk staff are ever ready to render assistance and we were much appreciative that they allowed us to have an early check-in and upgraded our room.
We love to be back again if we ever visited HCM again.
- LAWRENCE (10/5): - NICE AND QUITE PLACE TO STAY. THE ROOM SERVICE FOOD IS GREAT, ESPECIALLY WESTERN FOOD.
- P (10/5): Excellent - Very spacious apartment.Next to Saigon river with nice view, Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff.
Free boat ride to the city is very enjoyable.
- Lorraine (8/5): Loved it - This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay, so spacious with stunning decor, the reception staff were very friendly and really helpful, thank you for making our stay in Ho Chi Minh so wonderful
