The only thing I’m uncomfortable that the food area has flies.
- Edward (3/5): Poor customer service from male day shift receptionist - Day shift male reception with highlight hair has bad attitude, poor customer service. Bad male reception in the day shift. Poor customer service
- Joe (10/5): - In the heart of District 1 - the perfect gateway for long or short stays ❤️
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Location and friendly staffs. Wifi is very bad.
- Harsh (1/5): Bad - Hotel should be maintained and we found 20 cockroaches in the bathroom.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (9/5): Friendly helpful staff - Staff were very helpful Nothing
- Irina (5/5): I won’t be staying there again. Too many issues for just 1 night - The room was nice and the bed was pretty comfortable. The location is probably the best thing about the hotel. We checked in at 6 pm, received a key, went upstairs and saw that the bathtub was very dirty( there is no shower so we have no choice but stand there anyway). So I went downstairs to tell the staff about it and the answer was “Why didn’t you tell us about it at noon when the staff was cleaning the room?” I was shocked. First, we just arrived. Second, if your staff was cleaning why is it still dirty and I have to point you out about it? We left for dinner, somehow they’ve cleaned it. But!
When we came back from our dinner the toilet got clogged and it was after midnight so it was pretty late to ask for help. It’s very interesting that it got clogged after they cleaned the bathroom, seems like they were using some toilet paper and put it in afterwards, so it got clogged.
The air in the room was really bad as well, we opened all the window and AC, it helped a bit.
When we were checking out the receptionist was sleeping on the sofa, he waved goodbye, I put the key on his desk and we left. What a service 😂
- Parthipan (5/5): No major complaints other than the breakfast which has lots of room for improvement. - Location is fantastic.
Easy access to many places. Walking distance to Ben Thanh Market. Most restaurants are also within walking distance. Room for improvement in the breakfast.
The stairway to enter the hotel looked pretty alright in the pictures. it turned out to be slightly higher than it looked.
- Aik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tuyen (10/5): - Anything okay
- Vorrasit (10/5): - The staff is friendly and speaks English well. I like the location that is very convenient.
- Tommy (10/5): - Good
- Joe (10/5): - Reception- was very polite and professional- Sally is an excellent person to have as part of your staff- she is experienced in many areas concerning- travel- banking- and very tech savvy!
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Location and friendly staffs. Weak wifi
- Christina (4/5): - The furniture in the bedroom was COMPLETELY different than that on the pictures online.
I chose this hotel based on the online pictures which looked nice. The reality once I arrived was extremely disappointing. I would NEVER have chosen a hotel room that looked the way my room looked.
The pictures on the website are a complete lie!
- Tommy (8/5): - Good

- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - close to shopping areas Ants all over. The mirror was low-key broke (if you lift it up). The toilet isn't what expecting
- Nguyen (4/5): I already said to the staff that my room have insects anf asked them come to clean up my room but when we came back from - Location The room have insects, ants
- Sivakumar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ho (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ho (7/5): Good -
- Stephen (8/5): all around is a good stay. - location and services. nil
- Deborah (3/5): Poor - Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel hasn't been maintained, first room toilet was not working. Transferred to another room, the bottom of the shower had a large hole resulting in water leaking directly into the floor. Hotel room is overpriced when compared to other hotels in this range. Cancelled a future booking and went elsewhere.
- Tong (6/5): - Staff and service good, but rooms smells bad, bathroom broken (#404),air conditioning leaking (#504). I feel unhappy about it!
- Vincent (8/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Would stay again.
- Suanmeizai (1/5): My bad experience with AE&M The Petit - The receptionist Phuong and Tan were the life saviour as they try to make up for the bad experience. The hotel did not come with breakfast option and there was no food option in the hotel. There were ants in the room, the replenishment of amenities were very inconsistent. Some day do not come with toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel and they do not even have body lotion even after repeated reminder.
- Calum (8/5): Very good -
- Hussein (7/5): Good -
- Stephen (9/5): this is the four time I stay here in last couple years, as long as receptionist Miss Sally still work here, I will keep - location and the value. staffs is very helpful especially receptionist Sally is so great. nil
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Kwok (4/5): if I just stay one night, then ok - location is the only advantage the room condition, in terms of everything is bad
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional - Best staff service Some more option for snacks
- Keith (8/5): good value good staff but needs some improvement on air con - Lady at reception was very nice and welcoming each day, rooms were spacious and bathtub was nice Air con didn’t work for my first night so I was awake all night got a transfer the next morning to a new room but had to downgrade from the suite with the bathtub to a smaller bathroom
- John (7/5): Good -
- STEPHEN (10/5): - please could use attention to touchups, little paint job, shower leaks alittle, few bugs. wifi is decent. staff friendly and very helpful.
- Siau (8/5): Very good -
- Nigglet (2/5): We should've complain immediately after entering the room, since the bathroom smells terrible 24/7! - The bed was very comfortable and thanks for the extra blanket! The dust below the bed (super dirty!), the terrible smell from the bathroom and the drain inside the shower was clogged and flooded the whole bathroom floor. Such a bad view, female staff was unfriendly (the guys were decent), try to avoid room 4404 everybody!
- Hoang (8/5): Very good -
- Khaing (8/5): a good night in excellent location - very good size room, decent facilities and affordable price in excellent location the bath tub can be upgraded or removed it completed
- Anonymous (8/5): good location hotel with budget price - good location in center of district 1 quite old hotel
- Samart (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Friendly staff, better maintenance required. - Staff in hotel are friendly and very helpful (prompt response to room defects) that desired good comments, however, the hotel is not properly maintained. Flatted batteries in room's safe and a/c remote controller; water leakage in toilet; unsecured bench drawer suddenly dropped off twice. It was discovered only one drawer railing instead of two were installed. Most importantly, many small insects (believe are ants) were found around bathroom basin and room's bench corners, a big cockroach was running on ceiling.
- RM (4/5): - The staff was very nice, especially the door-man. Although the conditions of the facilities and the hotel itself is very run down. I wasn't expecting 3 stars, but the plumbing in the shower is badly blocked, there are cockroaches in the rooms, the odor in the rooms are soiled and need access to fresh air. The room I was given was on the 1st floor next to piled laundry bags full of towels and sheets no doubt, this was just outside my room in the hallway to that you could just barely pass by to get to your room, I have a nice photo of it.
To be honest, this should be a $10-12 USD backpackers room not a business person or holiday makers hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): friendly staff - very friendly staffs
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very poor hotel. Better off next door at Sanouva - A&Em was disappointing for various reasons. Only positive was the reception allowed us to check in an hour earlier.
1. Our request for non-smoking room was ignored. The twin Executive room reeked of 2nd-hand smoke. Instead of switching to another room, the hotel sent a non English speaking staff fr housekeeping to open the tiny window & spray air freshener!
2. There was some problems w ac remote - unable to adjust room temp. It’s either freezing cold at 22deg or very warm 25deg. 3. 3. The worse thing was the matured cockroach crawling around the room the next night which freaked me out - I m terrified of roaches.
4. Limited food left for bfast at 830/845am. Most of the buffet selection was 80% gone by then! Management should be more generous with portions for hotel guests if included in room rate.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - bugs in the unit. mosquitos. employee doesn't speaks english well.
- Traveller (8/5): - The room was large and clean and quiet. The location was good. The price was a little high for three stars in HCM. Some of the staff members are barbarians when they speak among themselves. The breakfast is OK, with little choice. There are no other amenities to speak of.
- Koong (6/5): fair price, but condition is not good - Price is fair, but need to up the level of tidiness. Toilet bowl water pipe is making noise whole night. Aircon being set for auto shut-off is rather annoying.
- Anthony (6/5): HCMC Stay - We wanted a room with a window, the window was not more than a port hole.
The waitress at breakfast was wonderful
- Julie (10/5): Good location - The staff is friendly, especially Mai, the staff serving breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff always nice and helpful and organized taxi for me as well as wake up call, thank you
Shower wasnt great, didnt work fantastic but other than that great
- Thu (8/5): - Vẻy pleasant stay
- Poh Ling (8/5): - Upon check in, I have requested for a non smoking room but however the receptionist gave a smoking room. When I enter the room, the smell was horrible and I saw a crockroch in the bathroom. I immediately called the front desk and ask for a room change.
- Alan (8/5): Good Location - Good Location, room is a little dark could do better with better lighting
- Jennell (8/5): - We have had a great time at this hotel and will recommend our friends and family
- Matthew (8/5): You want district 1. We have district 1. - I liked it. The hotel is in the middle of the action in Saigon. The breakfast is killer and the room is nice for the price.
- Nati (4/5): - Nothing like in the pictures it was very disappointing
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice , close to everything you need during holiday - Nice Location , friendly people ... convenient to get anywhere. shopping great
- Noor Azni (6/5): - Just average
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Value for money. Central location. Small room though.
- SUNNY (2/5): Nice Area but room amenities is bad. - Check In is good. Area is good. But room requested high floor but was given 2nd floor. Window is very small. Bedsheet torn, NO 3-1 coffee, NO disposable shaver. Room was small. Breakfast cold, hard & tasteless.
- SUNNY (10/5): NICE & CONVENIENT - VERY CONVENIENT, NEAR ALL PLACES.
- Liew (10/5): Hotel with Good Proce & Great Location! - This Hotel is beyond my expectations. Good Price, Great Location & Good Room. High Recommended!!
- Albert (2/5): Bad experience - 1. Door cannot open and despite several complaints, no rectification effected. Keep changing rooms and all VIP room doors faulty.
2. Breakfast buffet not up to taste.
3. No room essentials such as, writing paper pad, pen, complimenting instant coffee, hotel facility profile. Light bulbs not working.
4. Poor service
- Roy (8/5): Fairly clean and central hotel - The hotel is centrally located, breakfast needs to be improved due to very small range. The price is reasonably affordable for value to budget travellers who want to be in the city centre... However being there u will see many other budget hotel around the area. Ideally u can book a day and find other ones if u think it is necessary. The building seems to undergo some reno work and room at the X floors units 101 seems to be a little noisy, all thanks to the air con compressor just outside the windows. My first night there was noisy but requested another room away from the compressor seems to help a little. Water pressure was adequate however hotel amenities are very basic with free bottles of water on the desk.
Toothbrush, soap and shampoo is provided. The hotel is 2 minutes away from the famous Cho Ben Thanh market, nearby their is a new open air food court.
- Vy (2/5): Are they closed? - Front lights were off when we arrived around 12 am. I see some people lay on the couch sleeping and I thought the hotel was closed for the night. As we're checked in, they sold our oversold our room type and so called "upgraded" to a room with two single bed. This room has jetted tub, but atmosphere feels very icky with no window that i would be surprised if someone could enjoy using the tub. Bathroom room decor seems to be marble but overall decor appeared cheap. There are holes that cut for wall faucet. These are larger than the cover and were left exposed to see how thin the tiles were. Barely have warm water for shower.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Great location but that's about it - The location of this hotel was spectacular - very close to the market and an easy walk to anything you want to see. The breakfast was pretty good too.
Other than that, we found the staff generally unwelcoming, the a/c in the room made it incredibly dry and uncomfortable, and you could feel every spring in the bed.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a comfortable place to stay - Not a hotel I want to come back. The room is dark and in bad condition. Nothing like the picture. Did not clean up room until they were asked to.
- Si (10/5): Good for 3.5 stars - Good hotel cleaning & comfortable
