- Adriana Berbec (9/5): - Very centrally located, next to Senso-ji and Nakamise shopping street. But it was nit noisy at night. The staff is very friendly and speak good english. We tried the hot bath in the evening which is quite nice after a long walk. The fridge was actually freezing the food inside, so we could not really use it. It wasnt a big deal as we only stayed for 2 nights.
- Llewellyn (10/5): - The location was great, the staff were very kind and attentive. The hot bath was awesome and the rooms well setup. No complaints

- Danielle (9/5): Would stay again! - Really lovely place. Excellent location. The host was great and when I gave my flight information and said I would arrive after the last check in time, the host waited for me to arrive. He also booked me the last slot for the tub and I arrived to a wonderful soak. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and everything was clean. The room was very hot and I couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat.
- Kerrie (10/5): I'm still so impressed with the kindness and care I received at your property. This is a true gem! - 4th floor, room directly in front of the elevator doors. lounge room, private bath, separate bedroom. Breakfast would have been a nice touch. I was not sure if it was just temporarily unavailable because they did have a dining room.
- Huey Jiun (8/5): Love it - The environment and experience It complete the packagr if with breakfast included.

- David (10/5): -
- Yuan (10/5): - Comfortable hotel A little far from more interesting landmarks

- Emily (8/5): Very helpful and friendly staff, nice big rooms, great onsen and communal room. Well positioned for shops and the local - We loved the onsen and communal room with caligraphy, origami, board games snacks and tea. The welcome ice pop went down well with our kids after our long journey. The street cleaners on our side of the property were a little noisy during the night but I m not a great sleeper so may not affect others
- Schneider (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff The pillow was too big and there was no place to sit comfortably if you wanted to rest and didn't want to sleep.
- edifu (10/5): Perfect little family-friendly ryokan in the heart of Asakusa. - All the staff were exceptionally friendly - thank you so much for your warm welcome and thoughtfulness, especially towards our children and helping them with the traditional Japanese kids activities in the lounge area. This was the highlight of our stay! The rooms were comfy, and it was nice to have a little sitting area as well. Location was amazing - one block from the main street in front of the temple, but still feels quiet. We enjoyed the bath as well, though it was good that the rooms also have individual private showers. Nothing! Wish we could stay for longer!
- Debra (10/5): A traditional Japanese experience - The community / breakfast room with tea, coffee and ice blocks. How wonderful were the ice blocks !!!
- Giovanni (10/5): - Posizione centrale, pulizia, tutti cordiali e disponibili e il bagno privato stile onsen super rilassante
- Yvona (9/5): I am definitely coming back! - Amazing host who does his job his whole life and with a whole heart. Absolutely amazing stay, I loved the atmosphere, room, bookable spa and the locality basically next to Senso-ji.
- Hsueh-Ting (10/5): -
- Olivia (10/5): It’s a simple ryokan but also has everything you need. The staff are so warm and welcoming and the onsen bath is perfect - Very warm welcoming staff.
Rien
- Debbie (10/5): Lovely authentic stay in a ryokan and the location could not have been better. - The property was incredibly clean and it was delightful to have the living area too. Being able to schedule a bath was such a luxury. He management were all out, especially the manager who personally walked to the subway in case we got lost! We also enjoyed the free popsicles and snacks. The bedding was extremely comfortable and felt very luxurious. Would definitely stay there again. The location was amazing. Around the corner from many notable sites and also very close to great subway connections. Nothing. It was a wonderful.
- Anna (10/5): Would definitely love to return! - Everything! The ryokan is beautiful, the room is lovely, the family onsen was super relaxing and the staff is so kind and helpful!
- Dale (10/5): We had a wonderful stay here, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The traditional style rooms were perfect for us a - Traditional ryokan stay, very comfortable sleeping arrangements, incredibly clean room, very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. We loved the bath we were able to book every evening. Very family friendly stay
- Christine (10/5): -
- Hwa-Suk (10/5): It was a very nice stay near by a popular location in Asakusa. Would definitely recommend to others. - Although bathroom was tiny, the separate Dasani room and a tea room with a table and chairs was good. Bath was so nice. The lounge with some activities and popsicles was nice too. The bathroom was soooooo tiny. But surprisingly it had everything I needed and the water pressure was good so in the end, I had no problem.
- BAO KHUONG (10/5): Tuyệt vời - Nhân viên lễ tân rất tốt , chỉ dẫn rất nhiệt tình , phòng bật điều hoà ấm áp , phòng sạch sẽ rất đẹp theo phong cách Nhật Bản , tôi sẽ quay lại lưu trú nếu có dịp quay lại Nhật Bản
- Charis (10/5): -
- Jay (9/5): -
- Tandina (10/5): -
- Debra (10/5): Quite unexpected but it was an exceptional experience that fave us a taste of traditional Japan - I really loved the common room with tea/ coffee and games to play. The ice pops were amazing
We relaxed in the private bath ready for a good nights sleep
Rien
- Yu CHia (9/5): -
- Rosanna (10/5): - Tutto perfetto!
- Corrine (9/5): -
- Katie (8/5): -
- Delphine (10/5): amazing first night in Japan - I couldn't have expected a better stay for my first night in Japan. The staff was very nice, the room super cute, and the bath was a real treat after a long journey. The area is very busy and touristic during the day, but visiting around the shrine at night was a nice experience.
- charlotte (10/5): Charming experience. I will stay again should I ever return to Tokyo. - This is a delightful, spotless, small hotel that is furnished in a traditional Japanese fashion. It is exactly what I was hoping for my two night stay in Tokyo. Easy access to Narita was important to me and the location was perfect for that. Despite the hustle and bustle of Asakusa the hotel was very quiet. The front desk people were unfailingly kind and polite. Really great little place I would recommend to people looking for this kind of experience. Nothing.
- Sergio (9/5): - Situato in un gran bel quartiere, Asakusa appunto. Staff cordiale e struttura molto pulita.
- Kimberly (8/5): Great location, comfortable. - The location is amazing, staff super friendly - the lovely man at check in went out of his way to get us checked in early so that we could get our toddler freshened up.
Very comfortable futons. The bathroom was tiny - and it is raised so big step up or step down. I wasn't paying attention one night and had a big fall.
- Giulia (9/5): - everything! super lovely staff, great and spacious room, excellent position. nothing to say
- Alexis (10/5): -
- Pauline (8/5): -
- KI DAE (10/5): -
- Joy (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff. Good communication.
- N. (10/5): - i loved the receptionists, sweet men!
- Benny (8/5): -
- stanislas (8/5): -
- Maureen (10/5): -
- Shelby (10/5): The location of this place can't be beat! It was cozy and close to the all the action in Asakusa! - Location, staff, and activities in the common room.
- Lori (10/5): - The location is ideal! The staff was so kind and let us keep our luggage after checkout. The lobby with free coffee was a treat. Highly recommend!
- Franka (9/5): - The extra touches like free activities and snacks and the bath! Nothing
- Conran (7/5): -
- Franck (9/5): - Tout Rien
- Calvin (10/5): Friendly staff and amazing ryokan style property in busy Tokyo. - Ryokan was very clean and staff were very nice. I spoke Japanese but all the staff could speak English. The rentable bath was a gem in Tokyo and the surrounding Asakusa area was quiet and pleasant. I am 5 feet 10 inches, so about 178 cm, and the futon was a bit short for me. Had to curl up a bit to fit under the blanket.
- Charles (9/5): Great part of Tokyo where traditional Japan still exists. Nice ryokan with only about 10 rooms. Lots of local handicraft - Location , great Japanese bath, lovely tatami flooring. Helpful front desk No negatives
- Gemma (10/5): -
- YI CHING (10/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): Great - The bath was super nice ! And for free !
- Justin (9/5): Great location, authentic experience, calming and relaxing place to come back to after the hustle! - My daughter wanted to stay in a Japanese style accommodations so we opted for the Kamagowa.
The location is excellent, just the right balance of backstreet meets tourism.
The staff we attentive and welcoming and looked after us.
We particularly enjoyed the hot bath and relaxing games in the parlor. The bathroom is a tad tight for a 6'1 bloke such as me.
- Ezgi (8/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful
- Diandhita (10/5): -
- Nicolas (9/5): -
- Pauli (10/5): -
- Alena (10/5): -
- Anne (10/5): Fantastic ryokan in the heart of Asakusa - Incredibly hospitable staff, great room size, excellent location and free coffee/tea and Japan-themed activities (calligraphy, origami, ...) in the lounge. They accommodated my late arrival without any issue and I was even able to use the last slot for the hot bath - if you don't know the etiquette around it, don't worry, there are very handy explanations in the room. All in all, a wonderful experience!
- Maree (10/5): A gorgeous, peaceful place - Extremely close to Senso-ji and Asakusa Stations.
Great host!
Wonderful facilities like free coffee, fruit pops, and rice crackers.
Lovely lounge area to relax in.
I would absolutely stay again. Nothing
- STEPH (10/5): -
- Tzu hua (10/5): -
- Matos (10/5): - Japanese hospitality at its best. Very kind and helpful staff. Futon beds are extremely comfortamble and the room is silent. Would definetely come back.
- Anh (10/5): We had a very pleasant stay here. Very clean, quiet, comfortable futon and very friendly staffs. A men staff that greete - The warm welcome from all staffs The bathroom is a little small
- Bruna (10/5): -
- Sehrish (10/5): Loved this friendly tradiotional ryokan with the best location - The property has the best location in Asakusa. Just wander out the door and you are in the heart of Asakusa and can walk to the temple in less than 2 minutes. There is a direct underground passage to Asakusa station 2 minutes away where you pass by underground traditional restaurants and shops. This hotel gives the full traditional experience and the people working there are the nicest and most welcoming I have met (we have stayed in 5 hotels so far- with some rated 5 stars and my kids liked the people in this hotel the best) We all slept so well on the traditional futon beds, the rooms are spacious and the onsen room can be booked privately. They also provide traditional Yakuta to wear and shoes (geta) (which my kids loved) The temperature of the room was perfect (December and nice and cosy but not stuffy). The free coffee in the machine is very good, with free ice pops too, as well as ice machine and water and green tea and other tea bags too. Hairdryer and toothbrush and razors etc are provided. The shampoo and conditioner and body wash and hand wash are good quality and you can ask for an iron with ironing board. If you are travelling on to another city Yamato (luggage transport service) is less than 5 minutes away and the people working in Yamato made it so easy and were very pleasant. 24 hour Don Quixote is 4 minutes away if you need to get a last minute suitcase. There are also coin laundries close by- I used one 5 minutes away where machines worked through an app using Apple Pay (as well as coins) which was very useful. Would definitely stay again! As a Muslim there are so many nice halal food options within walking distance (would recommend Yoshi’s passion for katsu curry)!
