• Skye (8/5): - This was a very good hotel to stay in Paris, easy location to walk to the centre, close to the metro and restaurants. Welcoming staff, clean room. I had a single room, so it was on the small side but that’s ok - I was mostly out enjoying Paris!

Unfortunately for our whole stay the wifi did not work and I have tried to ask the staff about it and they kept saying that there was a problem in the full street. I think it’s a really important feature and nobody has given us a discount or even replied to my messages where I am asking if we could at least get back the city task money which is not much but there was no reply.

Ausser: Bad ist renoviert, Fenster ist jedoch blockiert und kann nicht geöffnet werden. Schimmel vorprogrammiert. Alte, teils verschmutzte Teppiche und alt riechendes Treppenhaus. Zimmerreinigung hat auch noch Potential sich zu verbessern. Schade, der Preis entspricht nicht den Erwartungen.

Praktisch: Man kann auf dem Zimmer Kaffee und Tee zubereiten und es gibt einen Kühlschrank und Safe. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Wir konnten sogar schon am Vormittag einchecken! Die Lage ist sehr günstig, ca. 15 Min. zu Fuß vom Gare de l‘Est und nah am Marais und Les Halles. Wir buchen dieses Hotel immer wieder gerne.

Sijainti oli myös hyvä ja metroasemia lähellä. Kaupunginosa oli mielenkiintoinen ja boheemi. Ilmastointilaite ei kunnolla viimeisinä päivinä toiminut, viilennystä ei saatu toimimaan. Aamupalalla olisi voinut olla vihanneksia, muuten se oli ihan hyvä.

Værelset var ret koldt selvom der var varme på. Hård seng. Fandt ud af mit sengetøj havde været beskidt i 3 dage uden de skiftede det eller selv opdagede det, jeg så det selv først for sent. Ingen mulighed for at streaming af egen telefon på tv.

L'emplacement est parfait et plus calme que sur les grands boulevards. La chambre était propre et la salle de bain refaite était confortable et spacieuse. Un séjour fort agréable.

The receptionist was very friendly & spoke excellent English; she was very helpful in giving me nearby Metro/bus information. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of eggs, bacon, cheese, pastries & juice. It's about a 20 minute walk to Gare Nord & another 20 min down to Le Halles. A short bus ride on Grands Boulevards and you're at Opera & Galeries Lafayette.

• frankcR2144AD (10/5): Right in the heart of Paris and close to everything you want to visit. - The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Paris and close to everything you want to visit. The atmosphere is great because there are so many people around at all hours of the day, which also makes the position very safe. It is close to many cafes and restaurants......and best of all it is just a couple of minutes walk from the best Pizzeria in the world, Popolare! The rooms are beautiful, with a typical French look and feel, and definitely value for money for both price and position. The rooms are also clean and very quiet and even though they are doing some renovations, they were never in the way or a bother at all. The service is great, they all speak english, they constantly greet you and are also very helpful. We were supposed to be picked up at 3am in the morning by a pre-paid transfer, "Allocab" who left us stranded by sending a text at the last minute. We were having some roaming problems with our phones, so the concierge, (I can't remember his name), took charge and immediately called the Allocab agency, who told him the transfer was still active and would show at 3am. Not trusting them, he then called another local transfer company and booked us in. He said this happens often. As he predicted, Allocab did not show, but luckily the local one did and swiftly took us to the airport. We definitely will return to this hotel next time we are in Paris.
