Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent guest hous. Succefull location - 20 min on foot to Colliseum, 25 min on foot to the shuttle to airport. There were all what i needed - shower in my room, hair drier, iron, clean towels. About cleaning: you won`t see no one dirty corners in this house, everything very clean. In general it is nice, comfortable, cozy place. House`s owner very nurturing, he does best that you leave satisfied.
- weimin (10/5): - Location was excellent. Various good restaurants nearby. It was very easy to communicate with Antonio, his B&B was kept very clean, in a safe location. The room I stayed in was very spacious. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Rome!
- george (10/5): Great place, great location - The unit is in a newly restored small apartment with a kitchen/dining area shared by two rooms. Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. Alberto greeted us and got us settled - helped with information, directions, ordering a car for airport return. The AC/Heat worked - this may be a strange comment, but in many places the AC or heat is turned off at a specific date no matter the actual temperatures but rather a calendar time.
The location is a very short walk to Metro and easy getting about from there, so you have a quiet residential area with ease to the crowds. Several very nice restaurants a couple blocks away that are out of the tourist circuit - good food, service, good price.
We were very comfortable .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Great staff. Quiet, quaint. Close to everything.
- Julee (10/5): LOVED this place!! - We loved our stay here at the B&B. Just a 15 minute walk from Termini Station which is great if you're making connections through Rome. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The host was very hospitable and really gives a lot of effort to make this B&B a really nice place with lots of home-like touches, like the breakfast selections and all the useful tourist info. The air conditioner worked great and the host provided shampoo and everything else we might need. We would 100% return here.
- CathyK (10/5): - Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was perfect. The location is very convenient. Alberto was extremely nice and helpful! He made arrangements for our early morning car service ride to Fiumicino which worked out perfectly. We had a great stay. Thank you so much!
- Syed (10/5): Great location, great host - Good location within walking distance to public transport and eats that are open late. Alberto is a great host whose attention to detail made our stay very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Totally recommend this place - Alberto was amazing. He gave us the best treatment we have received in Italy so far. We liked the detail and organization. He takes great care of his guests. I totally recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great host and location! Very near the train station, and near to other things.
- Amit (8/5): Good place for a quite stay - Clean & quite place to stay. Close to the City Metro station.
- Jenna (10/5): - For the price, this was a great hotel! We enjoyed our stay!
- RUCHA SUMUKH (10/5): - Overall good one
- ALBERT (4/5): - Not the same location. We waited at Termini Gold, then walk to another building with our luggage for 15 minutes.
Room is very small, just enough for 1 bed, we put one of our luggage under the bed & one other beside the bed.
Toilet & sink are leaking.
Nowhere to hang up the towel & clothes.
The kitchen for 2 units to use is good.
They let us to move in at 10am is good.
- Maurice (10/5): A lovely stay - We had a lovely time at the Termini Gold with our host Alberto.
- Caroline (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Rome - Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Rome! Convenient location (you can walk to the city centre), the apartment has 3 rooms. Ours was a bright and clean room with a really comfortable bed and there's also a good breakfast to start the day. Alberto is a great host and will explain everything you need to know. Recommended!
- AO (10/5): Best Rome Hotel - Stay here! Great location and Alberto ensures that your stay in Rome is perfect :)
- Sam (10/5): Great short stay - We had a pleasant stay at Termini Gold. Alberto, our host was so nice and full of details. We really appreciate his time in explaining the things we need to know about the B&B. He also emphasizes that the walls are thin so noise level should be kept low on the night and early morning. The check-in time is 3pm but Alberto was nice enough to let us check in early as we didn't receive his message because we didn't have the internet to check our inbox. A tourist tax of 3.5euros per night per person will be collected by Alberto and you need to sign a paper to say you won't post any photos of the accommodation online. The B&B has 3 bedrooms, we got an ensuite one. Breakfast is provided, no cooking is allowed in the kitchen, there is a safe in the room, towel and basic toiletries also provided. Located in an apartment block on the 4th floor. It's about 10-15 minutes walk to and from the Termini station if you know your way. There's a supermarket nearby and other metro stations are also not that far. There are restaurants and kebab shops in the area too. We tried one kebab place but it wasn't good. We were only here for two nights. If you need anything, Alberto will answer via WA, SMS, Call or if he's around, just ask him. Thanks, Alberto.
- rizzie (10/5): B&b in a real nieghborhood - Close to everything , had a great time just in the area itself we found a supermarket 2 street down , Mama Mia restaurant at the corner where we had dinners , fassi , the oldest gelato place next block but same street from supermarket, manzoni and termini metro station close by , colesseum a good 15 min walk , would stay there again
- ionut (10/5): - very good the room very confortable and very easy to acces all the atraction
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, close to the metro. Our host was very friendly and helpful.
- S V (8/5): Convenient location with good value - We stayed there for 6 days. It is located near the main train termini and metro station. There is a supermarket and restaurants as well. The host helped us to get a transportation to the airport at 4:45 am. It is not easy to find a place with this kind of value in Rome.
- Caroline (10/5): Excellent accomodation near all the sites - This was an excellent experience: very friendly host, nice room, spotlessly clean, close to public transport but also short walk to Monti and the Forum.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent B&B - My son and I spent 3 nights at this B&B and it was excellent. It is clean, quiet, super comfortable. The owner Alberto is very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend and I will use it again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome - I read the others reviews and was really wondering if it live up to them. It did the b&b and the owner was awesome and it was super clean.
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent B&B with really friendly, helpful owner. - We had a really enjoyable stay at Termini Gold. The room was exactly what we needed: very clean, organised and comfortable. It had also been decorated to feel very homely and there were nice little extra touches (e.g. sweets on the pillows!) The power shower was also excellent! The food provided for breakfast was simple but sufficient, and there was plenty to be had. It's a 'do-it-yourself' affair but still very good value for money. The owner of the B&B met us when we first arrived in Rome and was extremely helpful, sharing lots of top tips and advice for our stay. The location of the B&B is also convenient as it's very close to the Metro. Overall a great stay and I would thoroughly recommend Termini Gold!
- Sreenath Reddy (10/5): A Must Stay in Rome. - I can't stay enough about the stay at Alberto's Termini B&B. Great location by the Rome Termini Station, walking distance to Colosseum, the area can seem a little gritty at night but not dangerous per say. Our room was a great size, large clean, trendy, and sharing a bathroom was never an issue. The comp breakfast is awesome!! Alberto also offered suggestions of places to eat, a map with points to see and what buses/metros to take which was super helpful. All around staying at this B&B made our first trip to Rome fantastic. Thanks Alberto!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice stay - Host Alberto is friendly and helpful. Room is clean and well maintained. Near to Metro station.
- larry (10/5): great quiet location, convenient transports. - 15 minutes walking distance to the Colosseum, 5 minutes walk to the metro, bus stops, cafes and mini-marts.
the orange juice and chocolate spread (nutella) provided during the stay is the best thing after cleanliness and comfort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice B&B!! Close to train station! - Very nice owner, very helpful. Nice comfortable room.
- fung sim (6/5): Quite convenient.host ok.room atmosphere not good - Room too tiny for comfort..
- Julie (10/5): - Alberto the proprietor cares very much for the quality of his guests stay- thoughtful choices for the room accommodations. Breakfast - easy simple and good start for the day! Alberto gave a good map and can also provide excellent directives and information for visiting Rome! It was easy to use the Metro Manzoni stop close by as well. I enjoyed my stay very much !!
- Sam (8/5): Placed in a good situation for the rail station. - We have no complaints about our overall experience.
- Andrea (10/5): Great introduction to Rome - Conveniently situated with a very helpful host. Close to metro and conveniences.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good location close to station and Colloseum - The room was very comfortable and a good size; nice big and comfortable bed, a couch, a desk, TV, en-suite bathroom, big wardrobe, black-out curtains. I liked the bright decorations. The owner is very nice and he speaks good English. He is very organized. We shared the kitchen/dining area with one other room and that suited us well. It was in a very quiet location.
- Elliott (10/5): Great place to stay - We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at B&B Termini Gold. Alberto met us on the first day and showed us everything we needed to know about the property during our stay and he also gave us some great advice for places to go etc.
The location was good, about 5-10 min walk to the the nearest Metro station (Manzoni) and 10-15 min walk to Colosseum. The room was a great size and clean with all the amenities you'd need for a comfortable stay, there was a good variety for Breakfast but if you wanted something different then there is a supermarket a couple of minutes round the corner. Also, there are a good number of restaurants located pretty much adjacent to the B&B. Also, Fassi 1880 which is a popular Gelato Parlour is located nearby.
Alberto was a great host, communication was very good and he was also very helpful by printing of tickets for some excursions we'd booked and leaving them for us upon our return.
If you're looking for a short break in Rome I would certainly recommend staying here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great B&B - Really a great little B&B in a safe area near Termini Train station. Restaurants and metro stations within a 2-5 min walk. 15-20 min walk to the Colosseum. Nice rooms, AC, breakfast room with included breakfast, coffee, tea. All linens provided. Owner checks you in, explains everything in the B&B and offers suggestions/tips for Rome. Offered directions to an excellent and cheap gelato place within a 5 min walk (nice nightcap on your way home!).
- luis (10/5): Nice b&b close to train station. - Great staff. Clean room. Modest self serve brakfast.
- Jennifer (10/5): Clean B&B in a great location - Our stay at B&B Termini Gold was very nice! Alberto was super thorough and helpful when we first came, and the whole place was impeccably clean! If we go back to Rome, we would definitely stay again. They make you feel like family!
- Dean (10/5): Great little place close to Termini station - After frequent contact with Alberto (BandB owner) we arrived at termini station around 1pm. We found our way to the B and B and Alberto was there to meet us. He took us to his second place 5 minutes down the road as there had been a slight mix up. However, this place was just as good as the other - both tidy, clean, hot showers, internet, safes, big enough rooms and living space, kitchen etc. Alberto shown us a few places to eat, old ice cream parlours, told us about the metro and how to get to places, just a really pleasent guy wanting the best for our trip. This B and B is located literally 3 minutes away from Manzoni metro station, so getting about the city was a doddle. There are supermarkets and places to eat right on the door step. The colosseum is about a 15 minute walk away, and like i said earlier, getting to all other sight seeing locations and monuments was easy because of the metro station. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody I know who is going to Rome. Alberto is a very helpful guy and his B and Bs are great for a short stay in Rome.
- Sheryl (10/5): V happy - Great- would revisit
- 1st time user (8/5): B&B close to Roma Termini train station - This is a clean basic B&B at a good price. I shared a bathroom with one other room. It worked out fine, but one risks needing the bathroom when it is occupied by people from the other room, and one never knows how clean or not so clean people from the other room may leave the bathroom. Of course, the bathroom and bedrooms are cleaned daily, and the place is taken well care of by the owner. It is on the 5th floor of a building, but there is an elevator. The breakfast part of the package is limited to choice of generic cocoa puffs/corn flake cereal, store bought croissants, white bread, and cookies. One can make toast, but there are no eggs/muffins or fresh fruit. There is coffee/espresso/tea/milk/orange juice from concentrate. Breakfast could be greatly improved simply by having some fresh fruit provided, e.g. bananas, strawberries/blueberries etc. I recommend the place with the understanding that it is clean, safe yet simple lodging!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Alberto is the best. He very helpful and friendly.
- Thomas (8/5): Welcoming and clean - The B&B was great! We were greeted by Alberto upon arrival who we had previously contacted via email about what time we would be arriving and the room was ready for us for when we got there. We were given a tour around the room and shown how to use things and given information about Rome and the surrounding areas.
The room was fairly spacious with a separate private ensuite bathroom alongside a communal breakfast area where we were provided with breakfast each morning and a communal fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The room was very clean and looked brand new. The style of the B&B is very unique and homely as it looks to be a former 2/3 bed apartment that has been converted into a B&B.
The location was good. A 5 or so minute walk got you to the Metro Line A with connections throughout the city. A 15 or so minute walk and you end up at the Colosseum. The B&B is situated far enough from the noisy tourist areas but close enough to be convenient to access.
The hotel is not 24 hour but we were given contact information and instructions on how to contact Alberto if we needed anything. For the price we paid, we had a good few nights in Rome and would recommend to others on a short break in the city.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great accommodation - Spent three nights at the B&B, it was wonderful. Alberto, our host, was personable and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a small and very clean room and would happily recommend and return to this site.
The proximity to the metro, restaurants, grocery store and termini train station, was great. The Coleseum was a 10-15 walk in a main road, so you cannot get lost! The neighbourhood was safe, we walked around, even later in the evening, and had no ussues.
Breakfast is self serve and simple, but enough to get yourself going in the morning. My husband couldn't get enough of the coffee, too!
- David (8/5): Small room. Great Staff - So "staff" isn't accurate. It's Alberto. He's great. The small mix-up we had at check-in was more than made up for by meeting Alberto. He was so helpful, cheerful, and kind. The room is tiny. Like so tiny if you don't put your suitcase under the bed, there won't be any place to walk. But it's Rome, so go out and see stuff.
- roger (8/5): Close to termini, clean, good price, GREAT staff. - It's really a great place. Staff was MOST attentive. If you're coming and going in and out if Rome by train it's ideal.
Recommend without hesitation. Close to metro and all thence all the tourist sites.
- Benny Ho (10/5): Clean & tidy room - Everything is excellent. Information provide by host is good and essential. Room close to metro station and have a lemon tree outside the window providing a good smell during your sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, very clean and friendly - We really liked this hotel, it was nice and clean and in a good location, quiet and accessible via transit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All good!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cosy and convenient hotel - Alberto was a great host, coming in especially to accomodate our late check in. Gave good advice and ran a clean hotel. He runs a tight ship! Wifi was a bit temperamental at times but other than that, perfect stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): One thing we did not like - We enjoyed our stay at the B&B overall. One of the least favorable things of the two night stay was being woken up. Our check-out time was 10 a.m. and requested a slight extension. We were not given a break and did not appreciate being woken up.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Alberto was great! This B and B was really awesome and it was a great location.
- Heather (10/5): Rome 2016 - It was excellent. Can not recommend B and B Termini enough! Alberto was amazing and extremely nice and helpful. The room was terrific and exactly what we needed. Definitely stay here!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Roma - Was amazing the host was very helpful i will recommend b&b
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great B&B, very friendly and welcoming host. Highly recommended!
- Renata (10/5): Cosy little B&B - This is an excellent place for solo travelers who want to spend a couple of days in one of the most beautiful cities, it's very close to Termini station, very easy to reach it if you are coming for the first time and the Colosseum is only 15 min walk he room I was in was cute and comfortable since I only slept there, the neibourghood is quite and the owner Alberto is very friendly and healpful. He gave me very useful advices which I appreciate very much. I had a wonderful time and I could stay again in this cosy B&B.
- Timothy J (10/5): Quiet, Comfortable, Very Clean and Well Organized - Alberto genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay, and the accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Alberto provided safety information, brochures, transit information, maps. He lived in an apartment nearby and was available for questions. This accommodation was well located to walk or take transit to the Coliseum area. We will stay there again someday when we return to Rome.
- antonios (10/5): BEST BBF - alberto was excellent and the room very cosy and clean
thank you for a perfect stay
ioulia and dimitris from Greece.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Right Side of the Tracks - Genial host, close to Termini Station and Farine Pizzeria, one of Rome highly recommended. Walked everywhere.
- Christina (8/5): Hidden gem in great location. - We had a great stay here. Alberto gave us detailed instructions on how to get there from Rome Termini Station - a 15 minute walk, and we enjoyed a clean and comfortable room - surprisingly modern for the neighborhood. We had a satisfying breakfast and were only a 20 minute walk to the Colluseum and Roman Forum where we could catch the hop on-hop off bus to the other major attractions. There is a great restaurant 30 seconds walk away where we ate each night although you could prepare your own food if you wanted to as there was a stove and fridge at the B&B. The restaurant on the corner however, had an extensive menu, great food and friendly service and very reasonable prices. Alberto was a great host and went the extra mile to make our stay hassle-free. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends going to Rome.
- Estela (10/5): Fantastic - Alberto was very accomodating,i recommend to my friends.
- Chas (10/5): A Little Treasure in Roma - Termini Gold is a wonderful little treasure in Rome. If you enyoy walking then it is an easy walk to all the main attractions. The owner was most helpful with his introduction to the B&B as well as the city itself. Great restaurants all within 50m of the B&B.
- Maria (10/5): Nice place to stay. - The B&B Termini Gold is very clean and well managed. Very safe and secure place. My room was excellent and comfortable. The bathroom is well kept.
Close to Termini and lots of restaurants in the area. The location is actually in the Chinese neighborhood. If you need laundry service, there is one next door and not too expensive.
- Nadya (10/5): Great location and service - We were overall very pleased with our choice - we were in Rome for less than 3 days so we weren't looking for luxury but for a convenient location more than anything else, so we can explore as much as we can.
Locationwise, the flat was around 20 minutes walking from the Colosseum, and 3-4 minutes walking from a metro station, so we couldn't ask for much more. Our room was very tiny, but the hostel owner did warn us in advance that it is a small room so now surprises there. It was extremely modern in terms of style and furniture, and very very clean. The hostel owner himself was as helpful as possible, so overall we were very happy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Gold in Rome - Overall, I am very glad that I chose this BB. Alberto is a very sincere man and help me out other things which may not be related to my stay (printing the reservation receipts, ect....). The location is ideal and close to MTR Manzoni Station. It is not in a high class neighborhood but it seemed pretty safe even at late night. Every thing has rooms to improve, if I need to name one, that is the breakfast. Right now, it is a self service, no meats and no fresh fruits. There is no standard in the 2nd B from a BB, but I am in a BB in Florence where the breakfast is looking like a real one. In summary, this BB is pretty decent if you are not too pickle about what you going to eat in the BB in the morning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 100 per cent - It was lovely to stay in this hotel very quiet and clean
- Barb (10/5): Perfect location n Rome - Alberto was the best host. He helped us with our Mobil phone, oriented us to the area and showed us the location of many of he highlights of Rome. We will return a and I recommend this property without hesitation.
- Sarah (8/5): Good B&B - Friendly, comfortable stay
- SUBBARAMU (6/5): very average hotel - it was mechanical' the care taker was very curt and not available even during breakfast.Generally dull
- Khanh (10/5): When in Rome, stay here - Great location just minutes from the Termini station. There are tons of eating options in the area and it is a short 15 min walk to the Colosseum. You can walk to all the main attractions from this hotel other than Vatican City. It's best to take the metro for that. The metro station is only 5 mins from this hotel.
Alberto is a great host and explained everything to me clearly. He contacted me directly once I booked through Expedia and gave me clear directions on how to get to the hotel from the airport. You are give some nice croissants, bread, cereal, yogurt, and juices in the morning. The AC works great and the wifi can be slow at times, but reliable. The room is pretty small, but is functional. I stayed in the room with a shared bathroom and it was not a problem for me at all. The rooms are cleaned everyday which is nice and the restrooms were always clean.
- Guido & Elena (10/5): - Beautiful clean place would recommend to any body who would look for a peaceful place.
Close to every service, bus, metro, etc.
Alberto was very helpful and gave us very important tips about getting around the city.
We had very good breakfast in the morning and we had the chance to try the wife's excellent cake.
- julian (10/5): Excellent B & B - Stay here!!!
The place was incredibly clean
( like a five star hotel clean) and Alberto was a gracious host. Although it is a bit away from the old city, it is very accessible by metro and walking is easy as well. The place was cleaned daily and the place is very well organized. The place is located in an apartment complex on the 4th floor and has a small elevator. Alberto runs a very tight ship in order to make sure his guests are as comfortable as possible, and to make your trip great. He is a great guy. You also get unlimited fresh coffee from a great coffee/espresso machine which makes it fresh every morning. You also are provided with crossaints, jam, cereal, juice and all basic breakfast needs. Overall a great stay and we cannot recommend Alberto enough. He always came through with favors like printing plane tickets etc. Just be aware that Rome may seem Gritty at times but you are safe (just watch your pockets!). We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Rome!
- Fred (10/5): Great B&B - Alberto is a fantastic host. The room is extremely clean and Alberto is ore than helpful. The breakfast is great and the location of the B&B is great. It's about a 5 minute walk from the metro station that will zip you around Rome and it's about a 10-15 munute walk to the Coloseum. Highly recommend this place. I would stay again, no question!
- natasha (10/5): great - Great clean and everything was easily accessible
- Ali (10/5): Great bargain! - This was like home away from home . Alberto, the manager, went out of his way to meet us upon late night arrival. All instructions were very clear and the accomodation was adequate and comfrtsble. Convenievtly located near public transportation and many places of interest. Highly recommended.
- Christine (10/5): Awesome Rome experience - Alberto was more than hospitable, he gave us great direction on how to spend our day and half in Rome making sure we saw everything. Breakfast was typical Italian which is excellent and adds to the experience, pleace was very clean and very comfortable and walking distance to everything. Absolutely would say here again!
- Miguel (10/5): Gods service, very clean - Everything is Excellent. Alberto is great.
- siu yuen veronica (8/5): small b and b - we stay for 2 nights. walk for about 10 to 15 mins to train station, the b and b is well managed. the host can speak good english and explain everything clearly. but the space is quite small, very limited choice for breadfast.
- Jenny (10/5): Great location for a city break in Rome. - Great Location close to termini and other metro stations. Alberto the owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Definitely recommend. Easy to find and safe.
- bdigi (8/5): Termini gold B and B - Fantastic location, close to metro train and busses. Exceptionally clean and we were given upto date info on everything Rome we needed to know. It's a b and b that you get your own breakfast ready, very tiny room but clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good! - We thought that the room was very nice and the host is very friendly and helpful. The only thing is that we stayed in a room in another apartment and they could have been more clear about it before.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very quiet place to rest. - Close to restaurants, grocery store, laundry mat, gelato, a market. Ten minute walking distance to main subway station.
B&B clean, variety for breakfast, very organized and quaint.
- James (10/5): Great Place to Stay in Roma! - Alberto was terrific. He was very helpful and knowledgable about where to go and how to get there in Rome. He was quick to respond to any questions before arrival via email and gave very good directions on how to get to the facility. The B&B was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there again while in Rome. While the neighborhood was not near the main attractions and a little rundown, it was very quiet and safe, and easy to get to the train station or subway. Good restaurants nearby. Very good value to stay at Termini Gold.
- Verified traveler (10/5): convenient location for negotiating Rome - Extremely clean, very functional, excellent accommodations, cconvenient location for negotiating anywhere, great value
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Place and Good Value - Nice place to stay with comfy bed and spotless rooms. Alberto was a great, charismatic host and always available when called/e-mailed. Great gelateria (Fassi) near by (about two blocks) with great, inexpensive gelato. A supermarket and pharmacy a block away and Trattoria Monti and Da Danilo close by. It is also close to Termini Station (obviously). Great place to stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing stay - We stayed at Termini Gold for 2 nights. Alberto was a great host and we had all we could need. The room was clean, the location was excellent and the breakfast was very good.
- Richard (8/5): - The owner Alberto was great and very helpful, the location close to the train station and 30 minute easy walk to the collseum, room was clean and quiet. My only negative comment would be for a thicker mattress, there is a sump pump in the bathroom that makes a rumble sound when it gets full from the shower and toilet, it was not a problem for us but I'm not sure about other guest, over all it was a comfortable stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice b&b - Very clean rooms. The owner is very nice and helpful. The "breakfast" consists of croissants, cereal, yoghurt, juice, cofee, etc. A/C and wifi are good. Very close to Termini stn. but takes about 20 mins to reach the b&b. The neighborhood is ok, feels a little sketchy at night. The colloseum is also about 20 mins away and most tourist attractions can be accessed by foot.
- GG Realtor (8/5): Good value for the money you pay - Alberto the owner runs this place like a PRO. He is very meticulous and behind every detail. He takes good care of his visitors. The place is kept impeccable. The breakfast in the kitchen is very well organized and I found the setup very CHIC. Location is convenient for International travelers. Very good value for the money!
- Justine (10/5): My favourite b&b thus far! - I really liked this Bnb- it's very clean and very homely, with a cute kitchen for breakfast and coffee (free flow coffee and biscuits, no cooking thou, not that we are fussed about it). Alberto was really friendly and fatherly. He catered to our slightly later check in (though we had to wait a short while at the door when we arrived, the people in the area knew him so it was all good). He also orientate us to the details to the house and the area which was really good. And it was really sweet of him to emailed me about it when i left something behind in my forgetfulness.
I will definitely stay here again if I visit Rome, recommended!
- tom (10/5): Great stay, friendly and Close to train - Good location... Once you find it. Alberto was great and really helpful! Great breakfast and coffee! Easy walk to Colosseum, etc.
- Anne5185 (10/5): The perfect B&B - We stayed at B&B Termini during our stay in Rome and it was perfect. The room we had (platinum) was really big, with a couch and little desk. There is a second smaller room in the apartment, so we ended up being 4 in the kitchen to eat in the morning. There's enough room for everyone! Alberto, our host, doesn't live in the apartment, but comes daily to clean and prepare breakfast. He's super nice, suggested places to visit and gave us tips to keep safe in the city. The B&B is close to a metro station (2 away from the train) and you can walk to most of the major attractions.
Really, I'd recommend it to anyone!
- Katy/Michael (10/5): Excellent B&B - Can't fault it, good location (coliseum 10min walk one direction / train station 10min walk the other). Room was nice and very clean and breakfast was plentiful. Alberto is a great host with lots of helpful tips. We'll definitely be back next time!
- Verified traveler (8/5): clean and helpful host - our stay at Termini Gold was ok. the location was good if you needed the train transport often but too far away from city centre. We didnt like the surrrounding neighborhood at all. Alberto was lovely and very helpful with information and the hotel was very clean.
- Marie (10/5): IKEA hotel - We loved our time at Termini Gold. Alberto is reasonable, helpful and very trustworthy. The hotel is clean, updated and modern, and very nice. Seems to be in ikea style, which was comfortable and suitable. About a 15-20 minute walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, but I highly encourage use of the buses and trams. Great espresso machine, which was important for me, and much independence as Alberto is not there all the time. We would definitely stay there, again.
- Steve (4/5): Very scary neighborhood - Although the room was nice, clean and affordable, the neighborhood was so bad, I couldn't recommend it. Maybe if you always walked to the right when leaving, it wasn't so awful, but to get to and from the train station it was terrible. Sorry, but people should be aware.
- dmbxchica88 (10/5): Excellent stay in Rome - My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at the B&B Gold Termini in Rome at the beginning of June. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rome! The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Wood flooring throughout, and comfortable beds and sheets. Our room was very large. There was a small kitchen where we received a light breakfast each morning (coffee, juice, sweet croissants, nutella, jams, and yogurt). The one downside to the room we booked is that we shared a bathroom with one other room (3 rooms total, only 1 with a private bathroom). The room with the bathroom was already booked during our stay, but it was only a small inconvenience to share a bathroom (it's like staying at your parents' house for a weekend). Alberto, the owner, was extremely friendly and happy to accommodate us. He gave us a lot of great tips about how to get around, things to watch out for, and recommendations on restaurants and gelato. The location is extremely close to Termini Station and about a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. It's a bit longer walk to the downtown area (30-40 min) where the Trevi Fountain and shopping is, but we would have paid at least double what we paid for a hotel down there, and many of those hotels did not look as nice as B&B Gold Termini. Very pleased with our stay.
- Ronda (8/5): The B & B inside could not have been better. - We loved the B & B on the inside: the clean, non- smoking air; Alberto was a fabulous host; privacy was excellent as were the kitchen and bathroom areas. Upon arrival the location and outside of the building made me nervous BUT it was close to the train station and relatively close to the Metro. After just a day we felt comfortable. We would definitely stay again, especially now that we know what to expect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and safe location close to the metro - The owner, Alberto, is the nicest man in Italy. He runs a quality operation; his rooms are fresh, clean, safe, and updated. The breakfast is great quality and he has an expresso machine for coffee The location is near the central train terminal and within walking distance to all the sites in central Rome or if you prefer, the metro train is 5 minutes away. Alberto is a wealth of information and will provide a tourist map and all the information you need to maximize your time in Rome.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I would recommend it. It was a very good value and nice place
