- Carol (10/5): - The suite we booked was outstanding… spacious, pristine, calming and comfortable. We had a difficult time leaving it! It had numerous full length windows overlooking the river, which provided a tranquil view of the water and passing boats. We were on the main floor, off of the Library, where every evening, port was set out for the guests, as were fruit and fruit-infused water each morning. The espresso maker and tea were available all day. We especially enjoyed the small gym and sauna. The surrounding area was an excellent location with Tiergarten Park being just across the bridge. Not only will we return, we will look for additional hotels in this group!

- Verified traveler (8/5): … ein bisschen arg in die Jahre gekommen. Schade. - Nettes Suiten Hotel direkt am Wasser. Leider war keiner da zum Check-in, obwohl wir in der vorgegebenen Zeit angekommen sind. Zimmer groß, aber Mobiliar und Türen abgestoßen. Möbel haben zum Teil riesige Flecken. Vorhänge vergilbt. Fenster fallen einem beim öffnen entgegen. Toilette hat trotz Reparatur nicht funktioniert. Frühstück sehr lecker. Alles sehr privat, da nur wenige Zimmer. Eingang über die öffentliche Tiefgarage bei Anreise mit dem Auto. Hotelparkplätze wenig einladend. Da stehen mit Folie abgedeckte Autos und im Eingang unten muss man sich an Fahrrädern und einem Motorrad vorbei schaffen. Nicht so toll! Bezüglich Service: Wenn dann jemand vom Hotel da ist, sehr nett und freundlich und bemüht. Auch beim Frühstück nach längerer Wartezeit dann sehr netter Service.

- dmacandrew (8/5): Perfectly nice business hotel - Decent hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Had a couple of meals there and everything was really tasty. The rooms are a little dated, but perfectly comfortable and spacious. Mine had a lovely view of the river. The gym is a bit ropey, but the hotel is in a great spot for running by the river. Great for a business trip, but probably not somewhere I’d stay for leisure.
- AnnaDancer (8/5): Berlin Weekend Break - Fantastic stay in Berlin. We stayed for 4 nights and would really recommend this hotel. In a great location a short walk from Bellevue Station, and one stop from Berlin Hbf (Central Station). Sheets and towels changed daily. Room service fantastic, ordered 2 morning coffees and they arrived within minutes. Room decorated beautifully, lots of space and you’re able to open the window fully - great for fresh air. A shame there is no iron or mini fridge in the room, that would’ve pushed it up to 5 stars for me. Staff welcoming and friendly. Overall a lovely stay and we would return!
- ute (6/5): - Schöne ruhige Lage, fußläufig zur SBahn Bellevue. Zweiter Aufenthalt, diesmal nicht im Buisinesszimmer im Haupthaus sondern zu Weihnachten in der Villa. Die gebuchte Suite lag etwas überraschend im Keller des Nebenhauses, in Augenhöhe zur Spree. Zunächst wurde ein offenbar seit längerem nicht genutztes, nicht gereinigtes Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Für den Umzug ins Nachbarzimmer erhielten wir einen Gutschein für 2 Drinks in der Bar des Haupthauses. Im 2. Zimmer war in der geräumigen Dusche mit Regenkopf die alternativ nutzbare Handbrause an der Stange nicht verstellbar. Jedes Abwasser (Toilette/Handwaschbecken/Dusche) zog anschließend laute Geräusche nach sich, vermutlich von einer Abwasserpumpe, da der Fußboden unter Wasserspiegel der Spree lag. Leichte Wasserschäden durch fehlerhafte Wand- oder Bodenabdichtung auch in der anschließenden Tiefgarage. Frühstück wurde nur im Haupthaus angeboten, nicht in dem auf den Fotos gezeigten gemütlich gepolsterten Frühstücksraum der Villa. Mitarbeiter der Rezeption im Haupthaus freundlich, aber anscheinend teils noch in Ausbildung. Ansonsten schönes großes Zimmer.
- omar (2/5): - Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. For $350 do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. They gave us rooms in a different building which belonged to the hotel. It was a disaster. Ugly rooms, poor customer service.
- dukie01 (10/5): Peaceful Gem - We weren't 100% sold on this place based the lack of recent reviews, and online info speaking poorly about the neighborhood...but everything was great. I got the sense that it was mainly business guests (it's in a business-heavy district), but it was a great quiet base for our week in Berlin as tourists. The Bellevue S-bahn stop is a comfortable 5 minute walk away, will be your best friend as it links you into the main transit artery of the city. The neighborhood (Moabit) has a mixed reputation, but it was so pleasant, clean, and quiet to stay in and walk around. Lots of families, very few other tourists, very green/right on the river, and the food we ate (shout out to Quê Choa, open late) was very good. It may have been a weird glitch, but we didn't receive any confirmation info from the hotel when I booked. I emailed a week later to ask about it and got a brief reply with a confirmation number. Then I got the full confirmation about a week before the stay. Long story short, there's not much info available ahead of time--but that was the only downside to our experience. The room was extremely spacious -- probably 3X the size of the room we paid more for in Paris and comfortable. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. It wasn't clear ahead of time, but front desk staff were there at all hours and helpful. Would most definitely go back.

Don’t forget to take your C19 vaccination doc as you have to show it at the reception . One small thing - no minibar in the rooms . Don’t hesitate to visit when being in Berlin

- Alexandra (8/5): Super Lage, gutes Frühstück - Die Lage des Hotels an der Spree und in der Nähe des S-Bahnhofs "Bellevue" ist super. Die Größe des Zimmers und das Bad haben mir ebenfalls gefallen. Das Bett war mir persönlich viel zu hart und die Sitzmöbel im Zimmer waren etwas fleckig, was zu einem kleinen Abzug führt. Das Frühstück war einem 4*-Hotel angemessen. Den Corona-Regeln geschuldet musste man seine Frühstückszeit vorher festlegen.

It had so many great things to offer like great breakfast, nice location pretty central, lovely rooms some with view and a garage if your with car. We loved our stay at this hotel. It was easy and simple to get around from there.
- Axel (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt - waren jetzt schon öfters dort, nach wie vor: tolle und ruhige Lage am Wasser, super Zimmerservice, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, vielen Dank an die freundliche Dame vom Frühstücksservice, schnelle Anbindung an das ÖPNV. Einzig negative ist die Klimaanlage. Da es auch in Berlin immer heißer wird, kommt sie schnell an ihre Grenzen.

Stor romslig suite med to bad. Pga corona ble frokosten servert på moderhotell, 1 minutts gange. Smittevernet var super godt i varetatt, strenge tiltak m maske og håndsprit.

- Ian (8/5): irst time in Berlin - Very enjoyable stay in Berlin, Hotel was very clean, good breakfast with plenty of choice, the room was spacious and the view from the room looking down the Spree was just perfect. Very close to Bellevue S Bahn station for trips to all the tourist spots but far enough out for a peaceful nights sleep so overall very happy stay.

- PGTStJul (8/5): I will for sure stay here again - This is a very modern and stylish hotel. The rooms are spacious enough with full-size beds. The cleaning staff are detailed oriented and kind to your every wish. You are right on a 4-mile path to walk or run along the river. The only problem we had was with our keys to the room. The new keys with the logo on it doesn't work well and we spent several days getting new keys. I have to mention the two Receptionists that goes out of their way to make you comfortable. Those being, Thomas Heth and Ekaterina Makhrova. They are truly assets to this organization. Another thing I should mention is, the wait staff at the breakfast room and the wait staff at the diningroom. Because I was in a wheelchair and then on crutches later, these people were truly a blessing. they are, Marena Buchholtz, Ligoya Lonenze, Max Merlin Ries for breakfast and Pia Trippens for dinner.

- JulesLandsman (10/5): A great boutique hotel on the banks of the River Spree! - This boutique hotel on the banks of the Spree River, is a true hidden find for those visiting Berlin! The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, the bathrooms are luxurious, featuring a full size bathtub and a separate shower area, and the morning breakfast is a treat. Full size operating windows offer a great view of the River, as well as great ventilation. Transportation into the city center is easy, by foot, bus or train. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Prices are very reasonable for this level of hotel. A great hotel I can wholeheartedly recommend!

- norriem2014 (10/5): Fantastic 7 Day Stay in Berlin - Highly recommend the Abion Viila, more intimate and cosy than its big brother hotel next door. Excellent location especially if you like walking, takes approx 30 mins along the Spree towpath to get to Reichstag/Brandenberg Gate. Bellevue Train Station is 5 mins walk from hotel. Great station to get to most places in the city and further afield such as Potsdam (S7 train). Staff in hotel were very friendly and helpful, recommend the breakfast good value and quality.

It was a 10 minute walk to the “S” train, which can take you anywhere. Teirgarten Park was 10 minutes walk also. The staff was extremely helpful. WiFi worked well!

- Tim (10/5): - Bottom floor on the Villa extension - amazing view of the river. Very very happy. Some technical issues with the door keys but staff sorted it out in a satisfactory manner. Port at night - very very nice touch.
- NyBrobstrom (10/5): Amazing! - We booked a family room att abion spreebogen but upon arrival found out that we got a uppgrade to the villas. We have been staying at a lot of different hotels in Europe over the years, some luxurios and some not so luxurios. The ameron villas is by far the best. Everything has been absolutly amazing from the room to the straff. Everyone is helpful and kind and the hotel is top notch. We were traveling with two kids aged 4 and 9 and they were truly welcomed. We tried the breakfast both at ameron spreebogen and at the villas and both were fantastic. If you want to stay at a hotel that is more than just a room the villas is for you. This stay was truly an experience and we will absolutly return.
- 345muttis (10/5): Riverside and very comfortable - Very tasteful styled rooms, extremely nice staff and beautiful location. Nothing to complain, very much recommended. Good sized rooms with views, quiet atmosphere and relaxing outside area. Good food. We will come back!
- NaomiRoseUK (10/5): Quiet location and a well priced suite - My boyfriend and I visited Berlin for his birthday and spent two nights in a suite in a separate building to the main hotel. Check in is in the main hotel and there were a lot of refurbishments going on which I think will look amazing when finished! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We chose the suite because we couldn't believe the price of such a grand room in a city centre, £140 per night! The room was exceptionally big with a lounge, two toilets, a walk in wardrobe, beautiful bathroom with shower and a view down the river. This hotel is situated in a quiet quarter not far to Berlin centre on the S bahn - Bellevue station is a ten minute walk away. We sat in the bar in the evenings - the staff were friendly and the drinks were very nice with generous amounts of alcohol in the cocktails.

- Z5222RKmartins (10/5): Great Rooms, Superb Location - Abion Villa consists of a small number of rooms in a riverside building near its much larger parent Abion Hotel. Our room was very large and extremely comfortable with a panoramic river view. The staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful, and there was a strong wifi signal. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Berlin from where you can walk for miles along the river, or across the Tiergarten, or just 5 minutes to Bellevue S-Bahn Station. It is worth noting that the double bed was huge although - as is so often the case in Germany - it was comprised of two single beds next to each other. And the mattresses were quite hard. We didn't mind but others might. Be aware, too, that the Villa's reception is not open 24/7 so you may need to check in, for instance, at the main hotel. And no meals are served other than breakfasts which, although pleasant, offered relatively limited choice. Again, this was a function of the Villa's small size. But the main hotel is very close by. You can safely ignore the recent 'one star' review which must have been intended for another hotel. We had a great stay and can hardly wait to return.
- harryjessecharles (2/5): WORST HOTEL IN BERLIN - Berlin is lovely, the weather has been really nice. The people here are great! However this is the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I don’t know where to begin, the shower was cold, every morning we got waken up by a terribly loud thud like someone was hammering the walls. The staff were rude, the hotel bar was rubbish. I will return to Berlin, but I will never return to this hotel
- AHJ9 (10/5): Great view, secluded but in touch with the city - An excellent location with a great view on the river Spree, silent but within a short walking distance to the public transport service - all “must have seen” places are max. 15’ away and the service is thoughtful and very responsive. The location is super clean and spacious - very recommendable.
- sjw135 (8/5): Beautiful hotel and location, poor service. - Me and my boyfriend visited Berlin for a weekend away and decided to stay at the Abion Villa Suites because of the excellent reviews and location. The hotel itself is very modern and beautifully situated adjacent to the river. The bar/restaurant next to the hotel was lovely - amazing food - and we were served by some very nice members of staff whilst we were in there.The room we were given was very spacious and comfortable. The downfall of this hotel is the general attitude of the reception staff - I do not know if this was because we are a young couple and hence they did not see us as important guests. We arrived fairly early and so went to reception to check in our bags to go and explore, the lady at reception immediately told us our room was not ready yet and just shrugged us away pretty much. We were very tired from our flight and just went to get a coffee from the bar/restaurant next door. I went back to reception to ask when the room would actually be ready as she did not tell us before. When we did check in we were given no information on the hotel facilities and did not even realise there was a sauna in the villa suites until the last day. We booked/paid for a room with an extra large double bed and were given two singles pushed together - without a double quilt cover or a sheet to hold the beds together. Hence we found ourselves falling down the middle of the beds quite often. I rang reception to ask about this and the lady who answered was completely unhelpful - stating there was no other rooms with an actual double bed available. I did not ask to move rooms as we were happy in the one we were given, I had just asked for a double sheet/ quilt so that we were more comfortable/ not falling down the middle of the bed. I went to visit reception again after this phone call and requested for the second time from a different receptionist - who was also quite rude to me. A few hours later they delivered another single bed quilt to our room - which we did not need/ ask for. I went back to reception again that evening and spoke to another lady who just shrugged and said she was not sure if they could do it and did not give me any other information. All the reception staff we dealt with were very unhelpful and just could not be bothered. On the last evening we were there, a double bed topper was put on the bed whilst we were out which we were happy with. But we did find the general attitude of the reception staff to be unhelpful and rude. The location however is perfect, Bellevue station is a 5 minute walk away and so you can make your way into the city centre easily.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet area but connected to everything - I cannot fault the hotel at all - they are having some works done in the main entrance by the reception but considerately. We stayed in the Albion Villa rooms which are in a separate building and we could not believe the amount of space that we had for the same size as a shoebox in London. The room is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel and bar were really friendly and helpful.
- greenisle1200 (10/5): Modern and well kept - Really enjoyed staying here - quieter than the parent hotel close by. Really well appointed and in great condition. Comfortable rooms and quiet. Would highly recommend. The staff were very helpful. We had good dinner in the parent hotel one night and it was very good. The hotel has a cigar room too which was a nice advantage for those who smoke.
- FleurRoug (10/5): Excellent hotel! Best stay youll find in Berlin! - We had an amazing stay here in Berlin. The staff was always incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt very well looked after, and the reception tried everything to accommodate our needs. As they did not need one of the rooms the next day, we were able to check out at 3pm instead of 11am. The staff showed the highest level of courtesy & kindness, and did everything in their power to make our stay great. We booked two rooms - a suite and a double room. The suite had a beautiful view onto the river, and the double room had lots of natural light. Both equipped with very cozy beds and nice new bathrooms. The breakfast was great, with a broad continental selection of fresh produce and coffee & eggs to order freshly made. The bar attached to the hotel serves lovely drinks. Would stay again anytime! Highly recommended!
- TimothyF (10/5): Really, the best hotel in Berlin - We booked an Executive room in the Villa with views over the pleasant gardens and offices to the North. However, we were given a river view suite which, Honestly in many years of travelling, was the best room we have stayed in. Having seen the small price difference to book a suite, I suggest you don 't hesitate. The large main Ameron Abion hotel is 50 m away from the Villas and is very pleasant with good public rooms and an excellent, if not cheap, restaurant. Breakfast looked good and is served buffet style in a large restaurant. I cant comment on the rooms. However, and this is the trick. Don't book there, book the Abion Villa next door. Rooms are huge with an excellent level of equipment and the suite we were given was about the size of our sons flat in Berlin! Views from two sides over the pretty river with huge windows ( took some time to shut the curtains at night) a large sitting area with a sofa which can be used as an extra bed and some chairs . There are 2 satellite TVs DVD player, minibar, coffee machine, all the trimmings. Bed is German style 2 singles fixed together with 2 single duvets and very comfortable. Bathroom spectacular with all you could possibly require. Its very quiet and in a safe location just 5 minutes from the Tiergarten. Its on a pedestrian and cycle path ( no road) and surrounded by offices and so lots of commuters at rush hour. The nearest S and U bahn stops are a few minutes walk so access is easy to all of this wonderful city. Several decent places to eat and shops within 10 min stroll and there is an organic supermarket 100m away. Its an Annex to the hotel so reception in the Villa is not 24 hours but the main hotel has all you might need and reception there will respond quickly to your phone call. There is a pleasant small sitting room with free tea, fruit and a decanter of port. Breakfast can either be taken in the main hotel with a huge buffet or, much better, in the small dining room of the Villa, made to order and very comprehensive. The manager of the Villa is extremely helpful and very nice. We regret having to leave at an early hour and so didnt get to say goodbye. We were there in winter, but the outside terraces and their own boat look amazing. There is a big Gym and fitness suite in the main hotel and a small one in the basement of the Villa. Parking is directly under the hotel. A little difficult to find the entrance but incredibly convenient and not expensive at €15 per day They welcome dogs and kids, I have stayed at hundreds of hotels all over the world and quite seriously, this was probably one of the best. 4 star by category , but truly 5 star in practice. Prices, for what you get are amazing value. The Villa with its friendly small team, has a really exclusive "boutique " feel which is hard to find these days. We sold our small French boutique hotel in Provence last year after 15 years. We know the trade inside out and I can whole heartedly recommend this place. We will certainly come back. I hesitate in recommending it , we want it to ourselves!
- Len (10/5): Excellent Hotel in a Prime Location - We booked two executive doubles for our group of four people but had a problem with one of them immediately. This was quickly sorted out by Michael Friedrich, the Front Office Manager, who was most efficient and helpful throughout our five day stay. The rooms were unusually large, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the Boutique Hotel building we occupied so we didn't need to cross to the main hotel building. The quality of the food at breakfast was first rate. The coffee was especially good and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and always wore a smile. The hotel is located next to the river and surrounded by modern office type buildings. The pavements and cycle paths were still being finished off but the whole effect is smart and attractive. Many of the tourist attractions of the city are within walking distance either along the river or through the many parks - just be sure to take comfortable shoes. For an evening meal you cannot do better than the Croatian restaurant across the road from the S-bahn station at nearby Bellevue; outstanding range and quality of food at good prices.

- Cegeon (10/5): Spacious - A lot of room! They even leave you a little snack when you get in the room. Would have rated service better. But I had three separate service people tell me two different things about where I could get breakfast. Two people said I could go either in the villa or the main hotel. Meanwhile one older guy was adamant I was not allowed at the main hotel since I was staying in the villa. In any case, would still come back again.

- Emesh (10/5): Nice Hotel - This hotel was wonderful. The only issue we had was the trash in the bathroom was not cleaned out. We had a room next to the river and were able to feed the ducks swimming by. It was in a great area to see the fireworks for the new year. The staff was wonderful and very polite. The room was a great fir for a nice romantic evening right before the new year. The hotel is close to a couple train stations as well. In walking distance to a street that has some shops and restaurants. Overall very nice hotel and great stay.
- David (10/5): Beautiful Hotel Located on the River - The Abion Villa is first class hotel located on the Spree River. Our room was comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The hotel is located on the river walkway and close to restaurants and coffee shops. the view is spectacular. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and if we ever return to Berlin this will be our first choice to stay.
