• Rob (8/5): Very convenient place to stay. Clean and functional. WiFi was good. - Staff was vey accommodating. We were able to drop our luggage before checking. Host lives on property. Beautiful view from number 5 looking out over the sea. See pics taken from our window overlooking the sea. Almost a full moon. Sound proofing in room was great. Stairs were very narrow but the host helped with luggage. Rooms were tiny but adequate for our purposes.

• Prytuliuk (10/5): Das beste Hotel in Dubrovnik,immer wieder zu Edi🙂 - Das Highlight dieses Hotels ist sein Besitzer Edi🙂Er begrüßt jeden Gast und versucht alles Mögliche zu erklären,damit jeder den Aufenthalt in Dubrovnik genießen könnte- wir haben sogar eine Mappe der Stadt mit den wichtigsten Plätzen gekriegt.Nach unserer Bitte ,das Zimmer mit SEA View zu haben,hat er das letze Zimmer für uns gefunden,es war sehr nett von ihm.Und das View vom Fenster ist wahnsinnig schön - es lohnt sich bestimmt, dafür mehr zu bezahlen 🙂Das Hotel würde ich gerne allen empfehlen,und die Stadt Dubrovnik ist wirklich wunderschön. Mir hat alles gefallen,es gibt keine Nachteile in diesem Hotel.Trotz dem kleinen Zimmer ist alles bis zu jeder Kleinigkeit durchgedacht- im Zimmer gibt es sogar Tee und Kaffee kostenlos und ein Safe .

• Ruth (9/5): Fabulous views - Great sea views from rooms 3 and 4. Eddie is an extremely helpful host. Great location, away from the bustle of the old town, but only 2 mins walk away. Quiet. Comfortable beds, good showers. The rooms are quite small, with the bed pushed up against the wall. The bed covers are thick blankets rather than a duvet. The entry lobby is rather unusual, with washing machines and other equipment. A bedside light would be useful. But these are tiny niggles, the overall feeling is extremely positive.

The bed was comfortable and cozy, the room so quiet, in an old building with the thickest walls ever, with a view up to that beautiful mountain. Nothing - it was perfect for me.

The host gave great tips on where to go and how to spend the limited time the best way. The refrigerator was a bit loud for falling asleep.

• Debbi (8/5): Great location with ocean views. - Great location close to Pile Gate, buses and taxis with lovely ocean views. Eddie was very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of stairs and beds too firm for us.

Room too small - tell people in advance of this. 2.Room was on 3rd floor with only stairs (51 of them) - tell people of this before they book 3. Really only appropriate for one gues 4. His managing agent was not in any way helpful when we sought to just drop off luggage before official check. He/she took NO responsibility for anything 5. It is advertised as being Seaview rooms. Ours was nothing of the sort.

• Johanna (10/5): Wunderschöne Unterkunft - Die Aussicht direkt in die Bucht und auf das Fort sind das absolute Highlight dieser Unterkunft. Aber auch sonst stimmte alles. Sehr sauber und komfortabel, super netter Host, top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Parken muss man ein bisschen weiter weg, wenn es einigermaßen tragbar sein soll vom Preis. Der Host erklärt einem aber auch den Weg zu dem vermutlich einzigen kostenfreien Parkplatz der Stadt.

There was a locked gate before entering the property with security cameras. Location couldn’t be more conveniently located!! Only complaint is that there was no AC (which Expedia stated there would be) this wouldn’t have been a problem opening the windows other than it was very loud outside! No ocean view from the room I was in.

I think it is better than getting something in old town because of the stairs you have to take in old town to get to the hotel/airbnb. • mirandan303 (10/5): Conveniently Located Stay - Edi was accommodating from the start to the end of our trip. He set up our taxi to and from the airport, and it was less than a minutes walk from where the taxi dropped us off. Rather than walking into the City Walls, Edi's place was conveniently located closer to the small dock outside the City Walls. He let us drop off our luggage early, showed us around, and gave us helpful tips on places to go and eat. The room has everything you need from a bathroom, AC (perfect for the summer time), tea and coffee, closet, a small table, and a window. The rooms are not large, but that is not needed when you've come to explore Dubrovnik. There are two beaches located less than 3 minutes from the place, and everywhere else is super easy to walk to along with getting to the bus station that will take you to the other part of Dubrovnik. There is no big sign pointing to Edi's place but you will find it with taking your time walking down the alley. I highly recommend staying at Edi's, especially getting the sea view room, to enjoy all parts of the day of Dubrovnik and for it's easy walking location.

Additionally, the hotel is perfectly positioned steps from the Pile Gate (entrance to old town) and the sea. Eddie was an amazing host and provided recommendations around the town. Lovely rooms with an excellent view Eddie is extra. Very abrupt, no sugaring the pill there. However he sets his rules and it’s his business and it’s successful so kudos to him. If you’re the sensitive type, it’s not for you.

It is so central to everywhere you want to be in Dubrovnik, which makes it easy to pop in mid-day without having to take a lot of time away from siteseeing. Edi is a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful. Communication before arrival was great as well. Truly a fantastic choice for such a great value.

I stayed on the second floor and it was a little annoying to hear the people above on the 3rd floor stomping around their room. Other than that it was a great stay.

He spent a few minutes with us to highlight local attractions and restaurants. His location just outside the Pile gate was great, local buses just outside his hotel. Given the location ‘close to the action’, our stay was very quiet. Great stay!

El lugar de recepción es un lugar donde hay lavadoras, ropa colgada muebles con estantes totalmente sucios, plantas secas, etc todo esto esto da una muy mala imagen. En cambio la habitación es limpia, ordenada y correcta para este tipo de alojamiento.

• Maree (10/5): One of the best places we have stayed at in terms of location - 100% perfect. - Absolutely loved our stay here - Edi was the perfect host, gave us a full run down on where to eat and things to do in the old town which was just a stroll away and our room was magic - views of the old fort and the harbour, it was unbelievable. As big Game of Thrones fans having that location right outside our window was very special. The room was small but had everything you needed. Nothing, it was perfect.
