- Gustave L (10/5): Great stay but taxi strike wasn’t my fault - The people at the front counter were awesome. Friendly explained the shopping and food places for the type I asked. The breakfast was high quality food and clean. Overall the stay was a 9. Could have been a 10 if the day I checked in. I couldn’t reach the hotel on my checkin date due to the taxi strike for 24 hours. The next day I checked in and they had my checkin available and the lady cared less about a refund due to the taxi strike. They she tol me the checkout date was Saturday not Sunday. My reservation copy showed Sunday June 1, 2025. I had to call hotel.com and they sent me the confirmation email and I showed the lady again. Told me know and she checked in the computer and some other paper behind the desk. Finally kept showing the email she said checkout June 1. You can see my frustration and my wife and I both in the late 70’s. The taxi strike for 24 hours we didn’t no about until we left the airport, I feel I should not have been charged the night I couldn’t get there.

- Eiman (2/5): - This hotel has an exceptional location, unfortunately it is not well maintained, every thing is very old and not taken care of, the staff are not hospitable, rooms are very noisy because of the bathroom drainage and the proximity to the main street. I won't go there again or recommend it to any one.

- Peter (4/5): - The staff were very nice and the location was convenient but that is where the positive aspects of the room end. In my room, the WiFi did not work and it was in such a location that even my cell service did not work. When I brought up the former to the staff they suggested they would restart the router to which I said that was not the going to make a differences and it did not. The room was smaller than my living room at home and it is the first time in 30 years I have slept in a twin bed in real life or at a hotel. The area was dirty and loud but I fear this might just be Naples. I am unclear what makes this hotel a 4* hotel and the cost was extraordinarily high for what I got.

Hotel is generally OK at everything, clean, good air-Con, everything works. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on the food
- Inga (10/5): - The location in good, close to everything, beautiful and safe area, a lot of restaurants close by, by subway stop, the hotel has a very beautiful terrace on the top with a view to the bay and to the dome of the church near by, the breakfast was so good and delicious. The staff were good. Clean .

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a stopover on the way to Sorrento stayed at this hotel due to proximity to the ferry service. Property was clean and we would have been happy to stay longer.
- Sanchita (6/5): Old and noisy .. - Location of the hotel is good. They gave us a late check out till 12noon. However the rooms are old. Everything including the fridge and the toilet flush make noises. Air conditioning is not so effective. The hotel is right on the road so it's really noisy. Not at all recommend if you are a light sleeper and want a good nights sleep. Staff at the reception are not courteous and seems disinterested in their jobs.
- Pavlo (10/5): - Hotel Naples is fantastically located downtown Naples. It is a very nice place, worth every euro spent on it. Most of the Naples major attractions are within walking distance from it. If you would like to visit Coserta or Pompei, the main train station is within a 10-15-minute walk The room was not different from any you would expect in an upscale hotel. Very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was very limited and quality of food was poor. We had dinner there as it was raining the night we arrived and had absolutely no choice in food. Staff were abrupt. Location was the Main Street, close to marina if that is what you are looking for.

The bathroom was large but the shower was smaller than those on a cruise ship. The lobby furniture was dirty but the stairs were impressive. The staff were helpful.
- D (8/5): - The staff was friendly and helpful although I got conflicting advice on catching a cab to the airport at 4 a.m. on the morning I checked out. It still worked out well, however. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hotel is on on a very busy major street, although not too much of the noise comes into the room during the night or early morning.
- Mal (6/5): - The hotel has a very good location.It is close by to all tourist attractions, the port and the central train station where you can get the bus to the airport. You can easily walk to the historic city/port/central station & areas that locals go such as Via Toledo / Piazza Trieste E Trento / Piazza Del Plebiscito / Santa Lucia marina etc The only negative about it is that walls were very dirty, full of marks and the wallpaper has come off in some areas of the walls. It looks terrible. Definitely not for a 4 star hotel.

- k (8/5): Good location - Small rooms but adequate for what is required. No tea or coffee making facilities in room, which are expected as a given in a four star hotel. The beds are very very hard, which makes for uncomfortable sleeps, unless that’s what you like. The breakfast is adequate for being included in the price, buffet style so you can eat enough. The showers are tiny which was fine for me but I can imagine a person of any size would struggle to even fit in it. A good location and close to the metro, which is one stop from the main train station to get to places like Sorrento, Pompeii etc... Overall a decent place to stay
- Vedric (8/5): Good value - While the rooms are modest, they are modernized and adequate, as is the hotel itself. It has a lovely rooftop breakfast patio. The hotel is slso very well located within a couple of blocks of the old city and near both the harbor and the train station.
- daryl (4/5): Not as advertised - When we arrived we asked about the restaurant. We were told the hotel didn’t have one. This contradictes what it advertises. The hotel also does not provide complimentary tea and coffee. I also asked about an iron and was told that the lady had gone home and the hotel did not have an iron. What 4 star hotel has no iron or complimentary tea or coffee. When we went upstairs to the bar. We we confronted by dozens of people having a meal, even though we were told it didnt have one. It was for a corporate affair. This happened every day from Monday to Friday. I actually felt uncomfortable going to the bar in my own hotel. The hotel made me feel like it was more interested in its corporate guests than its hotel guests. I would not have booked this hotel if I knew it did not have a bar or restaurant. The advert is misleading and I am very upset and dissatisfied as it ruined an otherwise great holiday.

- Jorge (10/5): Very nice hotel close to major amenities - Traveling with family, made for a very nice place to stay. Breakfast included. Hotel front desk people were extremely nice and helpful. Word of advice, do heed the hotels instructions when it comes to parking. Go exactly to the garage they send you to. It is almost directly behind the hotel. There is another parking garage to the left of that one that is run by thieves they will rip you off and then not open on Sunday's. You will be kept without your car.

- David (6/5): Definitely Not 4*! - Hotel definitely not 4*, have stayed in better Travelodges. Booked 2 double rooms, one of the room doors didn't open properly so we were made to use a combination of key & key card for the duration of our stay rather than fix it. Bathroom door couldn't open fully as toilet in the way. Rooms small & cramped generally. No food available other than breakfast. Supposed "American Bar" if you can find a member of staff & persuade them to serve you a drink (although not all of our drinks actually turned up). Broken buttons in lift. All just a bit shabby & definitely over rated and over priced. Would not stop here again.

- henrique (4/5): Hotel in Naple - It is an old hotel with 4 stars but really seems like a 2 stars hotel. Air conditioning doesn't work, a little space for shower, hardy mattress. If your flight is at night, you don't haverá safe place to keep your luggage.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst night sleep - Booked a room with a queen bed and got a room with a sofa bed. One of the pictures of the hotel is a picture of a white couch. That was our bed. I asked the staff if they had another room but they said they were fully booked but could try to move me for the second night. So sure I can do one night on a sofa bed, I was exhausted from driving from Florence that day. Try to go to sleep that night and the room is uncomfortably hot. Try to turn on the advertised air-conditioning to no avail. Couldn't find a number to call the front desk so I go down and ask if they can turn on the air conditioning. Unfortunately they could not since they don't get turned on until a certain date. So I try again to go to sleep. Still unbearably hot on an uncomfortable sofa bed. I go downstairs again to plead for a solution. They then say they can turn off the heat! Mind you it was in the 60s that night. They also tell me not to open the window because of mosquitoes. So I sit in a sealed hot room with no way to cool off. The staff seemed apathetic to my complaints though I will admit it may have just been the language barrier. Fortunately expedia was able to help me switch my second night at this hotel for an extra night for our Rome hotel and I got the heck out of the hotel for the first train out. Expedia also worked with me in remunerating the situation.

Opening the window was neither an option because of an extreme noisy main street. The breakfast was good.

The staff went well beyond to ensure we had a safe and pleasant stay. Thank you Luigi for all your kind and patient information. Don't remember the night shift gentleman name but he went out of his way to make sure my daughter was safe while standing outside for a cigarette late nights. We all know Naples has safety issues at night . A little caution is required. The hotel was clean but its the staff that were outstanding for us. Good job gentlemen.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Nothing great...nothing horrible - My room was fairly dark. Small window, little light. Bed was pretty hard. Room was big enough and kept nicely clean. The bathroom was long and narrow. Shower tight even for my small frame, but had everything and was clean. Hotel staff were friendly enough, but only one spoke English enough to help me when I needed it. Would I stay here again? I'd try to look for something with better value, although the area felt safe and it was somewhat conveniently located. Bottom line was that I just didn't like Naples...city is dirty and crowded and traffic is horrible.
- claudia (6/5): Very noise, small rooms and weak breakfast. - Our room was quite small looking at 'via del corso umberto' which is a very noise street all night long, even though the the windows had double glass that wasnt enough! The bed was confortable, but I recommend you to ask for a room looking to the opposite street or othwrwise use plug ears!! The breakfast is serve in the 7th floor, the last one, and is quite basic meal..nothing especial. I have to say the location of the hotel is the best. Is walkable to the historic area and have a metro stop 'universitat' 2 blocks away.
- Christian (8/5): NIce Hotel in a Run-Down City - The hotel: quite decent, breakfast was fine but nothing special (staff never once offered tea or coffee, I always needed to ask), room was fine, bathroom was very modern and updated. No real complaints. 10 Minute walk to ferry terminal if you are headed to Capri or other islands. Naples itself is the problem. At night I'm not sure I'd walk around anywhere, so it was nice to have a good restaurant (Il Pomodoro) 100m away - we ate there every night. If the city could clean up it's act (filthy streets, graffiti on every square inch of buildings and statues) it would be lovely, but compared to other big Italian cities it is a bit shocking.
- Sheena (10/5): Well located hotel - This hotel is very centrally located in Naples. It has all the key ingredients for a good city break. Helpful staff and good breakfasts.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel and good location - The hotel is situated just outside the historical centre within walking distance of all sites and places to eat. Also close to the port where there is a hop on hop of tourist bus service. Taxi from airport is around half hour to 45 minutes depending on traffic. There is a fixed price of 19 euros. Breakfast is ok with enough variety to get you ready for the day.
- Family vacation (6/5): Great family hotel - We booked quadruple rooms for 3 people each for our extended family vacation. This is actually 2 rooms with 2 baths and ideal if traveling with a teenager or a family member who needs help. The hotel staff is kind and helpful. While the rooms were not dirty the cleaning was not done thoroughly either. The floors felt like they were not mopped for a while and there was dust on the glasses and vanity. The mattresses are poor quality as are the pillows, both were stiff and not very comfortable. The breakfast does the job and is served in a nice terrace room with s view over the port and sea. The hotel is located in a shopping area amidst several restaurants, which was very convenient. It's a safe neighborhood.
- ej (10/5): Very convenient hotel - It was clean and staff were helpful. Centrally located - two minute walk from the metro station. For those who want to walk, the hotel is 15-20 minute walk from Napoli Centrale Train Station. Taxi to international airport was about 20 mins.

Unfortunately the internet was down while I was there, which was disappointing as I like to share photos & such with family & friends while I'm away. The terrace breakfastroom/restaurant is nice, with reasonable offerings, but I feel a separate bar would be good in the evenings. Overal a reasonable hotel, located well, and at a reasonable price

No bars of soap.Nice breakfast room. - Other than a couple hours in the first night, the WiFi never worked -- even with their own courtesy computer in their lounge. Also, no bars of soap, just some grimy squeeze bottle liquid soap attached to the wall in the shower and next to the sink -- the one in the shower was close to empty the first night we were there. The shower stall was very small -- if you are a big guy, you will be bumping up against the glass door. It does have a bright and sunny breakfast room on the 7th floor.

- june (8/5): Nice hotel in Naples - Great price from expedia and prepaid...no need to worry about currency conversion. Traveling alone and I felt safe in the area. Good food nearby and decent stores. Just need to walk further towards toledo for the pedestrian only shopping area.
- Vivian (10/5): Exceptional hotel great value - Our stay was wonderful. Our room was not ready upon our earily arrival, therefore the front desk clerk made us comfortable in their lounge on the 7th floor, where we had available refreshments and Wi fi. Upon checking into our room, the clerk had upgraded us to an even nicer room due to some earlier issues we had at Naples train station. The location was very well located, being walking distance to the Porto, where we boarded 2 different boats for day trips to 2 lovely islands. We would highly recommend this hotel as anyone's first choice for a stay in Naples.

- Pat (8/5): Solid hotel. - We were just here to sleep one night as we spent less than 20 hours in Naples, but the rooms were the best condition of any for our Italy vacation. Very helpful staff. We did walk from the location to a place to eat and never felt threatened in any way, but its not the nicest area -- but that might be more an indictment on the entire city of Naples rather than this neighborhood.

- Andrew (8/5): Hotel Naples (Family Stay) - Overall a good stay. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the historic district, so just a short walk to the touristy parts. We were on the 6th floor, with the top floor being the breakfast room and terrace. We were 2 Adults and 2 Children, with my 2 kids (7 and 8) having an adjoining room, sharing a sofa bed. Rooms clean and well maintained. Area generally ok, but a little dodgy in the night along the unlit side roads. Staff helpful, although other reviewers experience seems to differ. We arrived earlier than check in time, so had to wait around half an hour for one of the rooms to be ready. Still got into the room a good hour or so early. No meals available later in the evening, although sandwiches and salads were available. We used a good restaurant on the square (approx 100 yards away) when we wanted a late meal, as they were open until midnight. Safe in the room, which was handy for the passports, credit cards, etc. Check the mini-bar when you arrive; ours was missing 4 items, and the one in my sons' room a similar amount. Drinks in the mini-bar are the usual inflated price, but there is a supermarket near to the hotel (grangusto) that you can buy beer, water, soft drinks, etc. Metro (universite?) is within sight of the hotel. A good stay overall.
- mikenyc (8/5): Great hotel for the price! - Outstanding accommodations for the price. Not far from "Porto" or shopping on via Toledo. Staff speaks a little English but are not fluent so be prepared. The shower has probably the best water pressure I've experienced in any shower ever. The bed and sheets aren't the best, but it €50 a night you cant complain. Overall would definitely recommend
- John (2/5): Would never stay again. - Air conditioning did not work and the room had a terrible odor. We were told it was the last room left and we were unable to switch rooms. Traveling from the United States we refused to stay so we packed out things and left. Would not recommend to anyone.

WIFI was not great at all, I had to go downstairs to front desk twice to please ask to reboot router. Finally began working and was adequate. Noise from bathroom above was a bit annoying. Breakfast buffet was okay. Rate was reasonable. I would stay here again. Close to the Ports. Naples is a great City but in my opinion, government needs to take control and clean it up, eliminate graffiti, you do not see this in Rome!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Good location, just ignore the moody staff - The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of everything. There is a metro station 1 block away. Lots of shopping close by. The staff were not really that friendly unfortunately. The breakfast was good, with warm and cold options, sweet and savory. The room was very clean, quiet, & comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good room, not the greatest location. - The hotel was overall very nice - clean and decent sized room. The biggest negative was the location. Not a great area of town and still rather noisey on the 4th floor.
- Koji (8/5): two nights in Naples. - Spent first two nights upon arriving to Italy. Took train from the Rome to Naples. Hotel is located very close to the train station. You could walk it if you like or One metro station away. (1.80 euro). Side walk is pretty rough that its not easy walking with your roller board. Hotel is facing major street, but you cant hear any noise from the room. We walked everywhere from our hotel as it is very centrally located. Metro station is very close to it, so making it even easier for getting back to Train station.

The room smelt of damp, had no tea or coffee facilities, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. It also didn't have much information about the area / activities / tours that could be taken. Other than that the staff were professional, and the buffet breakfast was good.
