The housekeeping did a great job and accommodation to all requests. The front desk did a great job making sure I had everything I needed. We had a typhoon hit the city hard and my local guest had issues getting a Grab back to her place. The staff dis their best to help find a solution so she didn't have to walk jome...apparently thats a valid option out here. I would stay here again when i come to town.

They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went up to Halong Bay for our overnight cruise so we didn’t have to take everything with us. Super accommodating from start to finish, we are also celebrating my dad’s birthday which we didn’t tell the staff and they surprised my dad with a cake and greeting. Spa was exceptional and as the last thing. Our flight was at 7am in the morning and they organised transport and takeaway breakfast for us. What an amazing experience and can not recommend this place enough. When we come back best believe we’re coming back to La Nueva. Thank you!!

They also gave us a map and pointed out all the sights and even gave us cafe and restaurant recommendations. The sky bar was a highlight and they took very good care of us. The service was excellent, but the building is a little dated, which shows in the finish in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and clean, the rainfall shower good too. - Tuan (10/5): Excellent Staff and Tour Planning - My family of four stayed at La Nueva for four nights. The staff was extremely hospitable in all aspects. Their concierge, Jimmy, coordinated with me weeks in advance and helped to plan great trips to Sa Pa, Ninh Binh and our eventual departure to Hue. He also helped to arrange a private driver and cruise to a much less crowded section of Ha Long. It all worked out perfectly. I really can't say enough about La Nueva's staff. The hotel served as a comfortable home base for seeing the northern part of Vietnam.

- John (10/5): - Our family of four from Vermont stayed at La Nueva Boutique Hotel and Spa on two different occasions in February. One of the most outstanding features of the hotel is the helpfulness of the staff. The staff helped us to successfully address a few different needs that arose. The hotel breakfast buffet has a great selection, and the food quality was good. The hotel has a great location… it is within walking distance of many attractions. We highly recommend La Nueva Boutique Hotel.

The girls in the spa did a great job and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the Estrella sky bar as well. Bed was super comfy, shower was nice and hot. For a smaller hotel they did a nice job with breakfast

- Jennifer (10/5): - This hotel is perfect if you're looking for 5 star service without the cost. Staff went above and beyond anything you would experience in North America. They helped us at every turn with evisa's booking tours, restaurant recommendations, directions, general inquiries everything really. Same day laundry service, breakfast buffet, lovely roof top bar were also added benefits. Jenny, Jimmy,Tommy and all staff went out of their way to deliver top notch service. I recommend booking a junior suite, it was spacious and very reasonable. Trust me you will appreciate the extra space. Its not fancy but it was clean enough and a great location. 5 min walk to the lake, Metropole hotel, restaurants and shopping in the heart of the old quarter. I strongly recommend using grab or asking the hotel to arrange transport for you. Shop keepers and restaurants all reasonable in my experience. Everything was walkable or a short taxi ride away. I would stay there again for sure. I loved Vietnam and the staff majorly contributed to this experience.

Outside the chaos that is Hanoi engulfed us, which was great, but returning to the calm of the hotel was welcoming.

Great location, updated and elegant decor, and incredibly helpful staff who provided great advice and made so many arrangements for us (thank you, Jimmy!). These arrangements included an airport pickup and advice on booking tours such as Ha Long Bay and the Ha Giang loop. The rooftop bar was terrific! Top-notch: thank you, La Nueva!

Cleanliness was disappointing although this was raised with senior management who were very quick to act on these issues and have already changed their system to improve these issues. I was advised they will refurb in the first quarter of this year, hence I would expect a much refreshed fabric, continued attentive staff and vastly improved cleaning processes.

Friendly, so helpful and kind, and extremely accommodating! The food was excellent and the Sky Bar was beautiful. The wait staff felt like friends. The property was lovely and the rooms were just the right size plus had a great bathroom and shower. They arranged cars for us, had my son’s suit dry cleaned in a day, and even packed a breakfast for an early morning flight. Have never had such incredible service at a hotel and could tell they loved their jobs and working with guests from all over the world. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else and look forward to going back someday. Thank you Jimmy and everyone there for making the trip for our son’s wedding practically perfect!

The kingsize bed was super comfortable, it felt like sleeping in a cosy marshmallow. Location was ideal! 2 minutes walk to popular places such as night market and train street was only 15 mins away. - John (10/5): - This property was a great choice for our stay in Hanoi. It was very well located on theoutskirts of the Old Quarter offering a quiet location with just a short walk to hustle and bustle of a vibrant city full of life. Hundreds of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping. The reception staff are excellent and are keen and willing to offer advice on all matters to ensure you well looked after during your stay. The rooms are looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of a refurb but nothing major. It was noted that the hotel is undergoing a major reno in 2025. Overall a great place to stay.
