• Elaine (10/5): Excellent stay, would visit again! - Excellent location - central to everything we wanted to do. Clean room and linens, comfortable beds and lovely toiletries. Easy check-in/check-out process with friendly staff. Being able to leave luggage at the hotel at both ends of the trip was extremely helpful. Having the coffee machine in the reception area was a nice touch. Would stay again and recommend to others. Though it didn't affect us, we noted that it would have been difficult to get full sized luggage up the steep staircase. Just the nature of the building, but worth bearing in mind :).

O cameră micuță dar cochetă într-o clădire tipică, foarte curat, personal drăguț și locație la câțiva pași de orice obiectiv de interes, de gară pentru plimbări în împrejurimi, în centrul istoric al orașului. Împrejurimile sunt de vis. Nimic.

• Rachel Qing (10/5): Great service, historic Amsterdam hotel. - Amazing service, very quaint rooms and great location. I had a big luggage and I saw the guidance about the lack of elevators. The 2 kind gentlemen at the front desk helped me to move my luggage up using this amazing and historic Amsterdam technique that was such a fun sight!

• walter (8/5): Beautiful old building and nice clean hotel. Well worth the experience for a true traditional Amsterdam building. Avoid - Beautiful old building on the canal. Lovely heating which was needed due to the cool weather. A unique way to get your cases to the top floor bedroom was to winch them from the street up into the room as the staircase was so tiny it’s impossible to drag cases up! Very unique. Location was also pretty fantastic. Right on the canal. Try to avoid the top floor attic room. It’s very tiny. Only enough room for a double bed and tiny bathroom. It was nothing like the photos advertised online. The hike up 4 flights of stairs was brutal. My mother stayed in a room on level 1 which was much larger and more comfortable. Obviously it’s a very very old building. But the attic top room shouldn’t be used. It’s too small.

• Jose Luis (8/5): Agradable e interesante - La ubicación del Hotel Nos asignaron habitación en el Tercer Piso, las escaleras son muy estrechas y subir y bajar maletas fue muy incómodo, sobre todo porque somos una pareja de más de 60 años, afortunadamente somos fuertes y gozamos de buena salud, pero deberían advertirlo previamente.
• Andrew P (1/5): Take care before booking! - Location The property's text description and wide-angle photos are, in our opinion, misleading. Actual reality includes very small rooms and very steep, winding stairs which may be totally impossible for some - including my wife. We had to go elsewhere. Lost huge sum after a curt and unsympathetic response from management pointing to T&Cs. Might be viewed as a trap? Detailed study of reviews does reveal that the stairs issue repeats, but is too buried to be regarded as being fair, in our opinion! Transparency would be a big improvement. But if you have a head for heights etc, the location is great!

• Emily (7/5): We had a lovely stay over all. It was quite expensive but no more so than any others we looked at. - The hotel was in a great location and the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was small as was the bathroom but well laid out and as expected for a building of that age and style. Two of the four beds were quite uncomfortable with very hard mattresses with little padding. The other two were fine however.

• Madison (10/5): This was a beautiful, centrally-located place to stay, and we felt immersed in the city. - The location was fantastic! We walked everywhere, and it was very central in the city. The staff members were extremely friendly and helped us with local recommendations and what not. We will definitely stay here again! Obviously, it's a steep staircase up to the room, but it kind of adds to the property's charm, and they will help you get your luggage to and from the room, so it's not a big deal!

• Rebecca (8/5): Great stay in Amsterdam ! - Friendly staff and a great little coffee/hot chocolate/tea station which was lovely after a day exploring. There were also umbrellas which came in handy! We had a family room with 4 x single beds - although cozy there were plenty of storage options with great little ‘cubbies’ next to the bed and hooks / coat hangers. As mentioned the stairs are very steep but no problem with our carry on suitcase. We stayed over new years so was very expensive but maybe better priced at a different time.

O apartamento precisa de manutenção. Nao tem opcao de cafe da manha. Quartos pequenos. Nao tem frigobar nos quartos.
• Sugeesh (3/5): - Excellent location, near key landmarks in Amsterdam and public transport. The facility stored our luggage until check-in time. The digital key system was very convenient. The room size was too small, especially for a family of four. There was barely enough space for our luggage. The heating was also inadequate. Additionally, there were no kitchen utensils, cutlery, or even a kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee. The reception area had a coffee and tea machine, but it was only available from 9 AM to 7 PM, making it difficult to have coffee in the morning since most cafes don’t open until 8 AM. There was no lift, and the stairs were narrow and steep, making it challenging to carry our luggage up and down. If you have large bags, this is definitely not the right place for you. Also, the reception was unattended, particularly in the afternoons. The bathroom only had body wash, but no shampoo/conditioner or body lotion; you may need to take your own. The view from the windows was not great. Please ask for a canal view room.

The only complaint we have was the heat. We didn’t have heat in the fourth floor triple room. We were told to turn it on, we did but it never got warm.

• Stephanie (9/5): Overall really liked this hotel and would stay here again. - The location was wonderful. On a quieter street, but close to everything. The room was right on the canal, so a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and helpful. The stairwell ascending to the rooms was very steep and very narrow. No elevator so going up and down felt somewhat perilous. People with disabilities, limited mobility, or larger in stature would probably not want to stay here.
