Guest Reviews
- jesse (10/5): - Everything about my stay was excellent and it’s my go-to place when I’m in Bangkok. Close to BTS, MRT and Lumphini Park, it’s a lively and cool neighborhood. As for the property, it’s a family run place with big rooms and great staff. I’d barely walk out of my room before cleaning staff were in there. One time I left my key in the room and the host called up to staff and retrieved my key in 5 minutes. If you’re looking for swimming pools and breakfasts, go somewhere else. But if you’re looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable price, all is good.
- Romeo (10/5): - I will be back definitely.
- Dustin (10/5): - Lovely hotel with lovey staff. Broke my toe and they went out of their way to help me out. The rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. They leave snacks for guests and made sure to restock my room with water and towels daily.
- Anthony (10/5): - Excellent property
- Amnaj (4/5): - A lady at the check-in was trying to charge me again despite I already paid for my accommodation through Wotif. They took me to another building across the road which was like to Air BnB due to the main hotel was full. I didn't get a WiFi code but the room's condition was acceptable. There is a gym and a pool in the building. So, I can't complain.
- Edward (10/5): - Very convenient
- Jesse (10/5): - I stayed here for eight nights and it was great because it was everything I needed. Good location. Quiet soi. Close to the SkyTrain and MRT. Seems like a family-run place, and they were always friendly. Being an older place the room was huge and everything worked well. I asked for the room to be made up every other day, and they made sure to leave two bottles of water at my front door on the days when I didn't ask for it to be cleaned. ... The things they didn't have -- like a pool or breakfast -- are things I didn't need. All was excellent. Cheers!
- Amnaj (10/5): - A staff at the front counter was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. It's so convenient to walk to the market, restaurants and BTS.
- Nicole (10/5): - Bed was super comfy! Its well located near 2 BTS station and plenty of shops around.
I would stay here again. It felt safe to walk at night.
- Allan (10/5): - It is in a safe location and the service at this property is excellent. Room was spotlessly clean.
- Assanop (10/5): - Everything was good
- Jacques Henri (10/5): - Great location, very clean and comfortable room, the owner always present and with a kind word or helpful information. I shall return every time I am
In BKK.
- Steven (10/5): Heart of Silom - A very nice hotel situated in the heart of Silom. They just need to get the Google location sorted out,(which they said they would) as I was sent to the wrong location originally.
- Jacques (10/5): - Great location, fantastic staff. The owner is always there and provide
excellent tips and advices.
- andrea (10/5): - Cozy and rustic..highly recommended and having stayed multiple times, will definitely continue staying there:)
- Johnson (8/5): Value and location - Friendly staff. Convenient location. Reasonably priced.
- A (2/5): - It is not a hotel but an old apartment converted to motel. It is family type business. They don’t know anything about customer services, hotel management and hospitality.
The bed very hard. The shower water take time to get warm and old fashion
No kettle to boil water.
There is 2 way small road in front the hotel. Be careful when you walking on the road to avoid any accident. At night the road also very dark.
Your friends or guests are not allow to visit you in the room. They will charge you 700 bath per guest if he/she step in your room. Your friends only can talk with you at the sofa in front the reception area.
If you didn’t not pay them the money, they will threaten and force you to stop staying at their hotel even though you already paid to Expedia for entire stays.
The receptionist and staffs are very impolite.
Cars can park at parking area but need to pay parking fees everyday.
Absolutely not recommend this hotel. You can get better hotel with this price around that area. I believe other hotels will provide you an excellent services, welcoming hospitality, polite services, caring and safe stay.
- Henry (10/5): - It's quiet yet close by to all the actions and food
- James C (8/5): Over priced ok hotel - I booked this hotel so I could be close to hospital and this is close to lots of street food on Silom rd. This hotel has an elevator, nice size rooms and nice bed. No coffee and tea in the room , you have to go down to lobby to get them. The bad part of this area is the street the hotel is on , it has no sidewalks so walking along the street was dangerous. This is an ok hotel but it is over priced for what you get. I stayed in another hotel on the other side of Silom Rd my last trip that had everything this place does plus they had a free breakfast and it cost about half as much. So there are cheaper places that are just as good in this area of Bangkok.
- Melvin (6/5): Hotel was so so. - Actually a old private apartment converted into a hotel. Facilities was lacing. No electrical kettle. No bottle water. Need to go down to lobby each time you need water. Shower take a longer time to heat up. Bed was super hard to sleep on. Nearest BTS was about 8 to 10mins walk away - Depends on how fast you walk. Overall, a boring hotel with no restaurant or cafe.
- Garry (8/5): Great little hotel - Great hotel for a few days stay in Bangkok
- A (10/5): Clean, Quiet and Nice Location. - Check in / Check out was fuzz free. Located in a quieter side of silom but very busy during weekdays bfast and lunch times as it is near offices. A lot of local food choices around.
- olie (6/5): Good hotel for the location - Staff is friendly and efficient. Location is good. Hotel is quiet. Water supply and aircon are good condition. Good hotel for silom area.
- Visit (10/5): Good - No not water, and not enough towels otherwise everything's is good .
- Jeff (8/5): - Clean, spacious & stylish hotel in convenient location.
Some traffic noise
- William (10/5): Multiple stays here - I stay here at least 8 nights total every year for the past 10 years. It is near Silom Dental and BNH Hospital. Lots of good food places just minutes walk away. Chong Nonsai and Sala Denge Skytrain terminals both a short walk away. Rooms are fine. Staff during biz hours is very helpful.
- Thomas (8/5): Great location and good value - An excellent choice for budget travel. Great location, large, clean room, and good service.
- Kin Hee (10/5): Low cost hotel with lots of great things to offer - I chose it because of its vicinity and night life. It is within walking distance to Chong Nonsi BTS station and it is just a walk to the main road, then there are plenty of public buses to Central World and Siam. There are plenty of eateries around. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a great property.
- KERRY (10/5): Excellent Silom hotel at great price - Good comfortable better than budget room with lift access, large bathroom & shower, short walk to Saladang Skytrain abit further and the underground gives easy access to Chatujak market, Sukumvit road etc, easy walk to night life restaurants hospital etc
- tinhphan (6/5): - The receptionist lady Vina ( I hope spelling right) is so helpful. Thank you Vina.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Well Located Hotel - The hotel is a convenient to the subway and skytrain. Right in the middle of the action. Although close to everything, the hotel itself is very quiet. Very nice spacious room. Huge bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If I were in Bangkok again, I'd definitely stay.
- Jacques - H (8/5): Nice small hotel close to MRT and BTS station. - I have been to this location now for more then 7 years and I always feel welcome. I enjoy the location and its easy
proximity to the sky train and underground which makes every visit to BKK bearable. The staff is always pleasant and
helpful.
- Henry (10/5): Quiet home away from the buzzing Silom area - I had been still in this small bouquet hotel for many years, the recent upgrade to the rooms are a big plus.
Family run business, thus expect to be welcome like your own home.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel in great area - Great location! This is a very nice and clean budget hotel in the best area for tourists. It is close to 2 sky train stops and the metro. There are many restaurants and shopps around. Also the night market is 5 min walk. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The street of the hotel is narrow and it doesn't have a sidewalk and it could be challenging for walking with kids, strollers and probably older people as there is traffic. However for us it was ok as it is a good value for the money. Will definitely go back there.
- Bill Murphy (8/5): A quiet area of Patpong. Worth the money - The hotel is fine. Very clean and quiet. A central location makes the hotel what it is. If you need somewhere clean and well priced to sleep, this is as good as any
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient and clean hotel - The check in was a mess as the he hotel cannot find my reservation. I had made an amendment and received confirmation thru phone as well as email and I also wrote to hotel and received a confirmation but hotel showed me my reservation was cancelled - Hotels.com you need to sort this out but I informed them there was no refund and so how could my reservation was cancelled. Hotel was full and no rooms available but sorted out after 30 minutes. Second time staying here. The hotel was very apologetic. Had rated my check in experience but till today, no response from Hotels.com. Apart from the episode during check in, good location as hotel near to Sky Train station, food outlets, away from busy road and nightlife but within walking distance. Staff very friendly. Room is clean.
- Tan (8/5): Room are clean and big - Family run no frill hotel.
For the price and the cleanliness of the room is worth every cent. Basic amenity only (no hand soap, tissue paper).
No kettle.
TV program is pathetic (only few local channel all in thai) not even a channel of english News channel.
- sarg (10/5): Ideal location - Nice clean large rooms ,modern flat screen TVs good size bathroom big fridge
- mohamad faizal azri (8/5): Will stay again here - A 2night stay.
The room is spacious,clean.
Staff us very helpfull and kind.
Easy to find n walking distance to BTS and patpong night market.
- Graham (8/5): Good stay, just away from loud tourists - Always felt safe, signs for bag snatchers, but never witnessed any problems, stayed near a hospital and amazed that there are very few sirens, maybe 4 in 5 days. Traffic chaotic but they drive with manners and you get there ok. Found some good local food down a covered alley and watched what the Thais bought and did likewise and no tummy problems. Do not drink tapwater though, always bottled.
- Henry (10/5): Simple yet comfortable apartment hotel - The local is great... near to everything,
The area is quiet although its right a the busy Silom area
Staff is very family
- Tony (6/5): Convenient Location - Walking distance to Silom Rd and train, Patpong night markets, bars, shopping. The hotel is very small with no additional facilities like a swimming pool or fitness centre. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room there is only one outside lift near reception so very inconvenient. No breakfast option but many close by places to eat. Only one English speaking channel on TV and not good reception and it repeat same program all day. The room was reasonable size and price; and clean. It is very simple, basic hotel no frills.
- Verified traveler (8/5): value for $ - clean & good location
- big jim (8/5): Short and sweet - A bed never fealt so good excellent location with good personal service A well kept hotel close to the best watering hole cloud 47 best views in Bangkok
- GORDON (8/5): Baan good good. - Been to the Baan many times and they never faulter to keep up a good Sevice. I will most definitely use again and again thanks Baan Silom.
- Katya (8/5): Nice hotel, close to Patpong night markets - It's a lovely boutique hotel located on a side street off Silom rd, great location being only about a 2-3 minute walk to the Patpong night markets. Staff was friendly and we definitely took advance of the free Thai biscuits snacks they had in the lobby!
- William (10/5): For price and location: can't beat it - Modest family owned "boutique" hotel located within a 5 minute walk to two different stations of MTS. No pretense of "luxury" but the "family" owned pays off for helping customers with problems of navigating the difficult....such as "how can I buy a ticket for the bus to xxxx without going to the bus station (which is far away.) One would think any travel agent, but no, this is Thailand, and the travel agents aren't interested in small ticket items. Clean rooms, good style, elevator works, very close to the hub-bub of Silom. I've stayed there at least 15 times. Price is a bargin...going any cheaper in that 'hood isn't going to be nice...I've tried...
- Luis (10/5): great hotel stay and location. - very friendly staff as always. they have security guard at night and in room safe. clean room with big windows and large bathroom. bed was very comfortable and clean. Hotel is easy walk ~5 minutes from Silom area yet in a quiet side street. very good value for the money and I would definitely stay here again. The air con was a little noisy but it was easily fixed by closing the bathroom door at night. I have stayed here several times and will continue to do so in the future.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was not bad.
- Albert (8/5): Near BTS - My second time stayed at that this apartment. No breakfast provide but it is fine to me. Good price for a big room, clean and good location, near BTS.
- Puskar (4/5): Decent hotel but no food. - There is no restaurant so no food but that's not an issue. If your a non vegetarian then there are lots of shops nearby. Also if your a vegetarian then u do have some variety around. There is an Indian restaurant just around the corner with wonderful food.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic Budget Family-run Hotel - A very basic and quiet family-run hotel that located next to Bangkok Bank building Silom Soi 3. The room was huge and clean.
Neg: Toilet was clean however the toilet bowl seat was spoilt. Window blinds unable to block the sunlight completely, strong light wake me up every morning. When I switched the aircon to low fan, loud sound generated and have to stick it to med or cold temperature setting.
No kettle provided in the room, there is a hot water dispensing machine at the lobby but the water was not hot enough to cook my cup noodle. No aircon at the lobby and lift. A very basic budget hotel.
- mike (8/5): great 3* hotel - A great location. Room is large and is comfortable but lacks at kettle and would be great. only reason for not full ratting of 5 stars was there was dust on second shelve above the fridg. the toilet seat moves and need to be tightened.
- Rungrut (8/5): good basic hotel - small boutique hotel, cleverly design room, good basic hotel in convenient, safe location
- Verified traveler (8/5): Super-clean room but not boutique. - Room was perhaps the cleanest I've ever had in a hotel. Bed very comfortable. However, I would not call it a "boutique" hotel for the following reasons: My windows looked out on other roofs, no view at all; only soap was liquid in the shower, no bar soap to wash hands; pillows were so huge would cause a neck pain; no hot water inside room, only in lobby where there was instant coffee. Hotel was close to many restaurants, shops, but no sidewalks so have to walk in the road to get to the main shopping street and public transportation.
- GORDON (10/5): A little Gem !! - This hotel is a little gem. Close to silom road you think would be noisey, not at all. I enjoyed my time there and so should anyone that stays there.
- Mike (6/5): Boutique hotel in nice neighborhood - A nice stay in a nice neighborhood. This hotel location is not close to Khaosan Rd. or the main tourist district however there is a smaller club district located within a few blocks. Many restaurants located nearby plus an outstanding morning street food market and also fairly close to a sky train station. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend... just remember it is a distance from the main tourist district and primary tourist sites.
- :) (10/5): We will stay again - We enjoyed our stay here good price location and staff.
- Victor (8/5): Good Hotel in Silom - Very affordable accommodation in the Silom Area. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff helpful even with limited English language skills. Recommended.
- Dror (6/5): Useless service - Service is really bad! No one speaks any English after working hours (7pm). Even during the day the employees are not very helpful. I asked for a can and they sent me to get one myself on the street... There are better bargains in BKK.
- Barry (8/5): Restful stay - This hotel is good in every way except for the extremely narrow street. It is basically a lane, not a street. Walking on the street can be dangerous because it doesn't have any sidewalk and there is 2-way traffic. However, this does not take away from the location of the hotel since it is close to restaurants, bars, the night market, and the skytrain.
- Markku (10/5): Getaway home in the heart of Silom area - I have stayed couple of time before in Baan Silom Soi 4 and never been disappointed. It still is a small, family run business which make you feel very welcome.
Though the small TV from the 90's could be upgraded into this century :)
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nothing fancy but good enough - Nice enough hotel just of silom. Would stay here again if going to stay in this area of Bangkok as it was a fair price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Feel like home - Friendly staffs, affordable price, spacious clean room, close to sky train and subway. This is all I needed for a short stay in Bangkok.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Value for $ - Good hotel. Good location. Highest value for $
- George (4/5): Close to Silom, Night market - checkin was fast and fuss-free, even though it's after midnight when I arrived at the hotel. Room is big and spacious. However, 2 shortcomings...aircon was set at 25 degrees and is the only feature that's adjustable is the fan speed. Checked with the receptionist the next morning and was informed that due to previous mishandling (setting the temperature too low, resulting in chocked pipe and malfunction of unit), they've decided to set it at one temperature setting.
TV channels are mostly local, with only the international selection: MTV, A+, NHK.
- steve (10/5): Bangkok return - I come to bangkok three times a year and I been staying at bann silom soi 3 for the last six years
- Don (8/5): In the heart of the Silom district - The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is the real plus to this hotel. Right in the heart of Silom district with easy access to mass transit and the Patong district. The down sides of this hotel would be that my bed was hard, the A/C was preset to not go lower than 25 degrees, and no fault of the hotel, there is a construction project going on just across the street that starts making noise at 8 AM
- Ricardo (10/5): Great space and location - The room space is amazing. Bigger than usual budget hotels and didn't feel like a budget hotel at all. The bed is comfortable. The highlight is their friendly staff and the location. Literally 2 min walk from BTS Sala Daeng and very close to the night life area and yet still have that residential feel within 100m radius. I did like the local market just around the corner which is clean and with cheap food.
- clarissa chou (6/5): Over-rated - I cant figure out why other guests rated this hotel so highly. I find it just average. This hotel has seen better days, and my room did not look as good as in the website photos. The room floor was really dusty when I checked in - probably has not been occupied in days. Even the bedside tables were dusty. There's only a hair dryer and safe box; other amenities stated in the website (washer, dryer, coffee/tea/kettle) were not in the room. There's only shower gel and shampoo in the shower area - no hand soap in the wash basin, or even a glass for toothbrushes, which was really annoying. The only good thing is the many food stalls near the hotel. Considering the basic amenities, this hotel is over-priced.
- CJ (8/5): Great stay - I can't fault my stay at Baan Silom Soi 3. The room was very comfortable with kingsize bed, air con, easy to use safe and nice clean shower and toilet. The room service was excellent and my room was serviced as soon as I left each day. As I was in Bangkok to enjoy the nightlife this meant I did not leave the room until late afternoon some days! Still the room was serviced promptly.
The staff were very friendly and the location is great for those who like the nightlife of Silom Soi 4. It's close to 2 BTS (sky train) stations. The markets of Silom are nearby, as is Silom complex with shops and restaurants.
There a 7-11 nearby for any essentials and the street food vendors are nearby.
- sarg (10/5): Great place to stay central bangkok - I s been staying here for the past six years when I'm in bangkok, very friendly always clean and tidy close to both sky trains sala daeng and Chong nonsi five min walk to both .night markets and food stalls or restaurants silom road close I be back September .
- RayVan (10/5): I've been a customer for years - Family owned, staff always helpful, English speaking by day staff, security fine, rooms always clean, wi-fi free and good speed, short walk to either Silom or Thong Nonsi BTS traings. A little longer walk to Silom MTS subway makes more sense than going up to skytrain, going one stop, then going down down down to MTS subway. In daytime, 1000 street food carts just 10 meters from hotel, at night, short walk to many eating places, some 24 hour. Walking street filled with vendors every night, and all the massage or bar stuff if you go down that road.
- Isa Solis (10/5): A very pleasant stay! - We booked our first 2 nights of our trip to Thailand at this hotel after reading the reviews that the location and service is great. I found this to be exact when we were there! As this was our first time in Bangkok it was close to everything we needed-bank, cell phone company, BTS/ MRT train stations, the Patpong Night market for good food stands and shopping and theres a 7/11 just across the street too. The rooms are large and very clean! We returned to Bangkok for the last 3 nights of our trip and chose to stay at this hotel again. Unfortunately, my boyfriend got sick and we had to stay close to the 'facilities' so pretty much we were either in the room or lobby garden for 2days. The owner lady noticed that he wasnt alright and offered medicine that he took and actually worked better than what he had taken so far so we could actually enjoy our last day there! So to me going to a foreign country, not speaking the language and feeling a little lost at times found it very comforting to stay at a hotel thats not only going to provide a nice place to sleep but make you feel homey and help you figure out maps! We are very thankful to them for memorable trip!!
- OB (10/5): a very pleasant stay - I usually don't write reviews but I really wanted to write for this stay. Unfortunately our stay in this hotel was short, just a stopover before our flight but we were so happy to find that the hotel was so much better than what we've expected. It is not a 5 star hotel in terms of facilities but it is in terms of the atmosphere. The people working there are so helpful and nice. We came here on Songkran festival day and were immidiately invited to enjoy some homemade dishes and bbq prepared in front of the hotel. I've been to Thailand over 7 times but this was the first time when I felt so much genuine kindness and warmth. Facilities: free wifi, spacious and very clean room and a very good location in Silom near the train station but still out of the bustling main road.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - Great place to stay..
- KC (8/5): great location - great location, easy access to food, BTS
- KC (8/5): Location - Good location. Close to BTS, food. Room clean, spacious, have Wifi but lots of mosquitos and hotel do nto provide any mosquito repellants
- Skookum1 (10/5): I'll stay here again - modest but comfortable - There's no pool or other frills, and only an outdoor lobby, but the room was well-appointed and spacious and the bathroom and shower larger than expected. Great location, near a local market that fills the alleys between the hotel and the Chong Nonsi Skytrain station, and the nearby area of Silom is near to but not swamped by the atmosphere but close enough to the food stalls of Convent Road.
- Audragon (10/5): Large clean rooms, great location - Ideally located at Silom, this is the 5th time I have stayed here. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean, the bathroom enormous, the staff friendly and efficient and it is ideally located close to Silom and all Bangkok attractions. The BTS is just 50 metres away as well as shops, food and Central shopping plaza. A great place to stay and excellent value for money too. Recommended.
- Henry (10/5): Simple apartment style hotel - Been staying in this hotel every time I travel to Bangkok.
It's spacious, clean and comfortable.
The counter staff are very friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location nice staff - The hotel room was clean and the hotel itself was peaceful. The reception were pleasant and helpful at check in. I had no issue with the hotel. Nothing fancy, but nicer than I expected. I have stayed in Silom many times, but this is the first time I stayed at the Baan Silom 3. I will stay there again. The location is close to the train and just a few stoops from the shopping centers.
- Vicbruin (10/5): Good budget choice in Silom area - Excellent effort to accommodate travelers' needs. Good location and decor.
- Meredith (10/5): Terrific budget hotel - The room was spacious and very clean. Water pressure was a bit weak in the shower and sink but livable. There is no washer and dryer or pillow-top bed as the site advertises. It is simply a hard mattress. I would definitely stay there again. You can't beat the price.
- sarg (10/5): ideal hotel to explour bangkok - stayed everytime i come to bangkok allways enjoy comfort of hotel and warm friendly staff ,centrall bkk and two skytrains two min walk away .looking to come back soon.
- Anonymous (6/5): - It served its purpose. Needed a clean bed and some AC- Thailand is too hot!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good hotel - Hotel is very good location, near metro and sky train stations. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We spent five night in this hotel and if we will come to Bangkok we take it. Only one incovenience: early morning hear street's noise. I recomended room at high level.
- Jackson H (10/5): Kind and Safe - Nice room, kind staff, good price, great location. The surrounding street didn't give the first impression, but it turns into a great market to browse on the way to or from the trains. All in all, i would definitely book here again. Close to both the subway and the trains.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel near Sala Daeng BTS station. - It was comfortable stay. I and my wife stayed in this hotel from 7th March 2013 to 10th March 2013. We both enjoyed our stay here. This hotel is quite close to Sala Daeng BTS station, it was very easy for us to get to any corner of Bangkok by BTS. I would love to stay here on my next trip.
- Verified traveler (10/5): close to BTS,MRT stations & Silom/Rama IV junction - very plesant stay- clean room with all amenities as advertised, fully operational. Front Office staff very helpful, with important travel advice and tips.Best of all, very convenient location to BTS/ MRT stations and on Silom Road, close to its junction with Rama IV Road. However, have to be very careful with Taxis/ Rickshaws - get Travel Route written in English and Thai, and on travel map with approx cost of travel, incl tolls, clarified with Hotel Front Office staff - FIRST.
- Dani (2/5): Overpriced and tired. - Don't bother with this one. My balcony faced a massive street sign so no view but dirty roof and back of sign, black mould in bathroom, tv barley viewable, pool not like pictures, bed linen transparent to grotty hard mattress. Aircon dripping water in tv!! Breakfast was cold and average. Towels stained and old... Id recommend going five minutes up the street for better room at half the price.
- Shadow (8/5): Value - I was as good as could be expected from a 3star hotel. No complaints.
- Shinn (8/5): Quality Of House Keeping Staff - Everytime i come to Bangkok I would stay in Baan Silom 3. I come to Bangkok at least twice a year. This recent stay I noticed that the quality of the house keeping staff has dropped tremendously. I found out from the owner that these are the new group of house keeping staff. First of all every morning around 10.30am to 11.30am when the house keeping staff arrive at the level i'm staying as they start to clean my neighbour's room, loud noise being created by talking loudly, banging the door loudly and even knocking at my door as like wanted to chase me to leave the room as they wanted to get their work done so that they can go rest. The notice given was the cleaning hours from 6am to 4pm. I normally leave my room around 1.30pm and i remember on the 4th January 2013 (Friday) when i got back to my room at night the room was not being clean. I went down to the reception just to ask for new towels but they told me they cannot access to the towel room. I am so upset. The front office at least should have the key to the store just in case any guest urgently need towel, toilet roll & etc... I would also like to give an opinion the door knob should be given a door knob hanger (Do Not Disturb or Please Make up Room). Other than that the hotel staff (security during day / night shift and front office people) they are extremely nice and friendly. Nothing to complain just an opinion the house keeping staff need to be improve.
- Amit (8/5): - Its a decent small hotel home like ambieance. Had a nice n comfortable stay. Was there for 3 days.Service was pretty gud. - Desley (8/5): Great budget accomodation - Great budget accomodation, close to all amenities. Will definitely use this hotel again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - not so good place was run down
- Shinn (10/5): Great Place To Stay - I'm here in Bangkok at least twice a year and everytime i'm travel to Bangkok i will stay in Baan Silom Soi 3 because the location is very convenient and in the center of everything. The room is huge and comfortable. The staff here are excellent and friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good but starting to show age... - Hotel was under renovation when I was there. Rooms were clean but they are starting to show age (bed sheets, pillows, A/C, furniture). No round the clock room service and staffs are barely speak English. Good for the price but it's getting harder as other places are simply better just for a few bucks more.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 2 nights in Bangkok - As described, this hotel is close to the train station/s but still quite a walk (15mins or so) especially if you take the trains from the airport - or you've had a late night out. Another area of mild dissatisfaction is the light that seeps through the blinds - it felt like there were no blinds at all.
Otherwise, this hotel is close to where the action happens. It's also very clean (lobby, room etc)!
The cons outweigh the pros in my opinion.
- Ben (10/5): Great value boutique hotel - We very much enjoyed our stay at Bann Silom Soi 3. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent especially for the money, and its in a great location that is not quite as touristy as other areas and a great Bangkok experience. Close to BTS station also.
They were very accommodating when we requested to add another night also.
Highly recommend!
