Room was SO quiet and wonderful very old feel Hong Kong yet clean and modern. Staff were fabulous and kind and so organised and warm. Nothing we didn't like. We'd stay again!

• Reza (1/5): I do not recommend - Reception was fast and friendly. The hotel was damp and smelly. So was my room. This place needs urgent renovation. I did not feel comfortable and it was not clean.
• d_ars (7/5): - Hotelpreise, bzw. Preis/Leistung Verhältnisse in HK sind leider ernüchternd. Ansonsten, war es für eine Nacht eher ok. Insg. ist die Umgebung wohl für die Kenner und nicht fürs HK-Kennenlernen. Die Strassen scheinen eng mit viel Lärm und Müll zu sein. Mein Zimmer sah etwas müde aus, wie vieles in der Umgebung. Das Personal macht aber einen sehr guten Job und ist freundlich. Sauberkeit war sehr gut.

Location was excellent, right in the middle of Central and with access to a diverse range of bars, restaurants and shopping. Immediate access to the Central-mid-levels escalators and the pier also only a short walk away. Hotel appeared a bit tired and the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't the greatest.

• Ellen (8/5): Great location for a stopover - Simple, clean room to crash in during my stop over with great walkability to plenty of sites and fantastic eating in the neighbourhood. I found it helpful to be able to store my bags after checkout too. Walkable to Hong Kong station. Room on the smaller sized and quite pricey but that might just be Hong Kong. There was some construction outside overnight that I would have preferred a heads up about but it wasn't too disruptive.

Didn't impact us at night through. Clean. Nice bed. They seem to take sustainability seriously. Free mobile wi-fi units The bathroom was a bit smelly. I like the fact that you fill a jog full of water in the lobby rather than having bottled water, but... a small jug, being on the 17th floor and a very slow lift means getting water was a bit of a pain – bigger jugs? The mobile wi-fi units ran out after half a day.

Room was comfortable and the staff were excellent and helpful. Refill station for water bottles meant no waste on endless plastic bottles. Could do with a deeper clean pulling out the bedside tables and furniture to dust behind.

I could hear every sound from the next room, including both sides of a phone conversation! I normally sleep very well, but with every sound from next door as if it were next to me, it was often impossible. And it was uncomfortable knowing that he could also hear every sound coming from my room.
