- Martijn (5/5): Hotel in verval - De locatie is redelijk dichtbij het vliegveld en er is een Starbucks in het hotel De accomodatie begint in verval te raken. Ik kom hier al jaren maar het begint steeds meer op te vallen dat er geen onderhoud wordt gepleegd. Het tapijt rafelt en is versleten en het behang komt langzaam los. Het service niveau neemt helaas ook steeds meer af. Ontbijt is niet aan te raden.

- David (4/5): - My 4th visit to this hotel but first in 7 years. The Qube Hotel was disappointing this time. Tired decor in the rooms and staff and services below average. I don’t think I will stay here again now that new hotels have opened near by.

- Zoe2488 (1/5): Too Hot To Handle - location is great for the metro with a shopping mall and restaurants nearby The heating in the room was off the scale with 27 degrees recorded one night. I complained to the front desk on the first night that the room was too hot and they sent up a little lady with a long ladder to open up the small window. The heating controls could not be adjusted. The second night I again complained and was told housekeeping would attend to adjust the heating, when I returned from having dinner this was in the form of a fan being plugged in which had the affect of a large hairdryer blowing out hot air all night. The hotel also advertised a shuttle to the airport and this was not provided and the wifi was rubbish but I guess this is down to the government not the hotel.

- Laurence (5/5): hotel is adequate - Close to the airport Hotel rooms were well used, very difficult to converse with hotel staff as very few understood English had to use a phone translator to get anything understood.

- Brian (5/5): Was good for International travellers, now focussed on domestic business for Disney attractions - Proximity to Pudong. Communication on shuttle bus which was always available to Pudong. Now it seems its used for Disney, yet we were informed its no longer available to Pudong since Covid. No additional bed provided as requested and despite knowledge that three guests were staying, were wrongly informed it was only for two at breakfast. No time to prove that as we had to get to Pudong, but demanded payment before we took breakfast, despite them having a 1000RMB deposit. This hotel we used many times in the past due to proximity to Pudong, local facilities and that there was a hotel shuttle. Now it seems to have focussed on the Disney and local leisure facilities for the domestic business, with staff no longer familiar with the needs of international travellers. We wont be staying here in future.

The staff were very helpful. quality of breakfast was poor. compared to other hotels near Shanghai it was basic and not worth the price. The room was run down and poorly decorated. it was big but also very empty. would not stay there again.

- Dzintars (3/5): It was a little disappointment :( - Good location if you have a flight next morning from Pudong airport or just arrived and do not want to move further. Just 15-20min driving by taxi from/to the airport. One hour and about 200RMB taxi trip to Hongqiao train station. Good shopping center with many different and nice Chinese restaurants. I didn't use this hotel since since covid started in the end of 2019 and now came back with very good memories but was a bit disappointed. Looks as they are not recovered completely after hard covid times. Everything looks not clean enough, dusty, tobacco smell in many places, very pure heating. Feeling like as reception and breakfast areas are not heated at all.

Very good location, it's very close to Pudong Airport, and very close to Metro Line 2, so it is well connected to the airport and the city. The is a big shopping mall nearby and there are plenty shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. The hotel no longer provides free shuttle bus to Pudong Airport. :( I can understand the reason though.

- Juan (2/5): False advertisement. It is not a 5 star hotel. - Nothing. It is not a hotel for western people. I paid for an executive room in the 15th floor. When I checked the room, I noticed the drain of the shower was broken. They changed me from the 15th to the 5th and put me in a room for handicapped people. They tried to charge me the amount as for the executive, and when I complained they reduced my rate in 150RMB.

- Rui (9/5): Great location and spacious room. - Great location, next to a shopping mall complex and metro station. Has a lot of place to shop and eat within walking distance. Short driving distance to the pudong airport. The room is spacious and clean, very comfortable to stay in. The air conditioning feels weak in the summer time.

- Ninomiya (8/5): Very good - Close to the airport (CNY 50-60 by taxi, one way). Surrounded by dozens of casual restaurants, food shops. Roomy. Nice bath tub. Some furnitures are bit obsolete, but acceptable.

Internet connection is very very poor and of course be prepared that WhatsApp, Signal, Messenger, and other communicators are blocked so you must have VPN installed to use any of them.

- Maz (8/5): - Close to metro line 2, for easy access to Shanghai or Pudong Airport. The hotel provides an hourly free transfer to PVG too. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. It's ideal for someone who needs a place to stay before an early flight. Rooms are spacious and well equipped.
