Mückisch (2/5): - Hatte ein EZ Deluxe reserviert und auch bezahlt, bekam aber ne total heruntergekommene Abstellkammer. Trotz vorzeigen meiner Deluxe-Reservierung, wurde mir gesagt, daß sie nur eine normale EZ-Buchung vorliegen haben und bekam kein anderes Zimmer. Mehrere längere Telefonate bei Expedia brachten auch nichts. Von Expedia bekam ich eine lächerliche 20 Euro Gutschrift. Alles in allem ein totaler Reinfall :( in Bezug auf's Hotel, aber auch in Bezug auf Expedia.
Mückisch (4/5): - Ich hatte ein Deluxe Einzelzimmer gebucht, aber ein "normales" Einzelzimmer bekommen. Dieses Zimmer war mehr eine Besenkammer :( Außerdem Schrank defekt, Rahmen der Tür des Zimmer's beschädigt, Kopfteil des Bettes war nicht mehr fest mit dem restlichen Bett verbunden, kein Tisch, kein Stuhl, es roch fast ununterbrochen nach Abwasser/Fäkalien. Mein Hinweis in Bezug auf's gebuchte Deluxe Einzelzimmer wurde vom Hotel mit "wir sind eh ausgebucht" beantwortet und die Bemühungen von Expedia brachten auch nichts, da niemand vom Hotel es für nötig hielt an's Telefon zu gehen :(

Colazione ottima e variegata, personale gentile che ci ha dato indicazioni utili (pizzeria del popolo chiusa di domenica ci hanno indicato la più vicina pizzeria maraucci). Stanza con tutte le comodità (aria condizionata, frigo, bagno con doppia doccia e bidet, tv, letti comodi ) per la famiglia con letto matrimoniale e stanzetta per i ragazzi con letti singoli. Possibiltà di parcheggio gratuito pubblico (con telecamere della struttura). A 500 metri fermata metro Duomo. Unici appunti mancanza di un orologio a parete e un phon a resistenza che si riscaldava dopo pochi secondi di uso (spegnendosi)

Il solito mio HAHAHAHA, purtroppo sono strutture arrangiate, camera, era la dépendance della domestica (mai vista, manco quando aveva la chiave della mia stanza, irreperibile), bidet nemmeno fissato a terra, bicchiere monouso implasticato e pieno di muffa nera, soffione doccia intasato di calcare, porte doccia non chiudibile, quindi sbalzo termico, solo tre cose buone aveva la mia sistemazione, ascensore con musica disco, minifrigo, funzionante al 100%, anche se al mio arrivo era spento e sopra un mobile, e aria condizionata, tutto il resto off. Ian (8/5): - The hotel is in a good location for the trains and ferries, also close to the old town and restaurants. The car parking is in their courtyard outside the Hotel and is under video surveillance, so its "OK". The breakfast is good. My only hassle was that the mini bar fridge did not work, and as it was very hot I really needed to chill my drinking water, and it took 1.5 days for them to change the fridge over and I had to be quite insistent.
Paul (6/5): Sketchy Area and Overworked Staff - Hotel was somewhat convenient, several blocks from a metro stop, however, the area seemed a little sketchy. We didn't want to wander around after dark. And we were concerned about our rental car. It was jammed into a spot in and around a lot of other cars! The room was small, and not very clean. The bathroom, also very small, had a horrible odor coming from the sink! Breakfast was plain and not very good. The staff seemed over worked, doing several jobs at once...working the front desk, answering phones, setting up the breakfast bar and making/serving beverages at the same time! They seemed bothered by our request for an additional pillow.

Peter (8/5): Comfortable place to stay near the hospital - Very nice hotel. Unfortunately I had to be located in this area to visit a member of my family who was taken ill in the Loreto Mare hospital, and this was the only hotel close by. The area is not that nice to be honest, but perfectly located for my needs. it's also walkable to a lot of places however. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel, clean, relatively comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. looks like recently modernized. I don't think they get many English speaking visitors, but the staff really tried hard to please. I was glad to stay here.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. This hotel was good value for the price. this was a place to sleep for two nights while we visited Pompei and the Amalfi coast.

Richard (8/5): Diamond in the Rough - Conveniently located near the main train station, old city, and downtown. The hotel appears nearly brand new and finished in great style. Very friendly staff (not much English). Convenient free parking. Good breakfast. It worked out very well for us. Even though we had a car, we took the train to Pompeii. A walk around the old city market was quite a trip. And lots of street life as well in the downtown area.

Made reservation thinking worst can happen I will ever come back here but let me try it for the future. I go to Naples 3 times at years and stay at a place for my own privacy , I found what I really can call a Comfortable homey place. The front desk helpful, rooms clean, lobby welcoming, close to the historical center of Naples. I would ask the front desk ( Salvatore ) to find a person to walk you thru the street of this City and Show you what is really all about!! ( I'm from Naples & I don't need it ) As any big city always need a local that would tell you where you should go and where not! I live in NY/NJ many places in NYC or in the State of NJ are like Naples or as like any other city in the world and I would not send any of my friends, family or people walking around at night or in areas where they should not go. The Hotel is a Diamond !!!!

Room was clean enough but 'parking' was simply street parking in the piazza outside of the hotel where you'll find yourself parked in in the morning. Breakfast was put out in the morning and simply left so if you go down after everyone else don't expect anything to be there. Did not live up to expectations at all. Staff were average, they did what they were supposed to, they weren't nasty but they weren't particularly welcoming either.

Sarah (4/5): Not for the faint of heart! - Positive: The hotel staff was friendly (though language was an issue). It was newly renovated and clean. You can walk to the cruise port or train station (though I wouldn't recommend it). Negative: Location, location, location. We booked my husband here for 2 nights so he could meet my mother and I on a Pompeii excursion off a cruise. I booked this hotel because it's between the cruise port and the train. It is a little off the main road so took some time to find. During the day this area is tolerable, at night it's down right seedy. Even my husband was uncomfortable walking around here. He isn't very picky and was really unhappy with the area. Other then breakfast (which was fine) there is no food so you have to leave the hotel. I would not stay here with a family, solo or all women.
Brian (10/5): Modern, remodeled, new management, great value - I had read some mixed reviews and was a bit nervous, but I was booking late, so I didn't have many options in Napoli in my budget range. I arrived and learned the hotel is under new management since early 2013. I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE! The lobby and all the rooms are newly remodeled and pleasantly furnished and SPACIOUS! The two gentlemen who work the 24-hour reception desk were so friendly and considerate and helpful. I was really surprised (since I'm used to more gruff service in Italian hotels). The cleaning staff were also very nice. The hotel was clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. All new and working amenities: shower, bidet, A/C, desk. ONE NOTE: The wifi only reliably works in the lobby and is spotty depending on your room. They told me they are working on improvements. But there is for sure wired internet available in each room at least. The area is downtown Napoli near the train station, and I was a bit worried about that as I don't know the town well. I felt perfectly safe in the daytime and still generally okay at night, no different than any other downtown big city area at night. It is really convenient to walk to the train station or drive to the port or freeways. Also walkable to the tourist sites. Breakfast was decent and the espresso was delicious! Parking is right on-site at the front door of the hotel and the 24-hour reception keeps an eye on it. This hotel is an incredible value.
Verified traveler (6/5): The hote was disappointing. - The following were positives. 1) The rooms are spacious 2) the hotel is close to the port and the train station. The hotel is convinient to visit pompeii by train and Capri by ferry. The following were Negatives. 1) the manager is extremely rude. He told me that the hotel did not accept credit cards.however, the hotel did. I paid a different staff member when he was not around. He was upset later to find out that I had paid someone else. He screamed at me because I stated to him that parking was included in the price. He charged me for parking even though my reservation stated otherwise. He did not even care to look at my reservation. 2) the area close to hotel is dirty and unsafe. 3) the rooms are not as nice as the pictures from the web site. 4) you need to speak Italian to communicate with the front desk. 5) there is no wireless internet in the rooms and lobby (even though the web site says the hotel has wireless Internet).
Stu (6/5): Not as shown in photos!! - - Not the greatest neigborhood, 5 to 10min on foot to train station - Terrible customer service, we asked 4 to 5 times for a hairdyrer for my wife (was in room facilities listing). Was told each time that "arranging it, you will have it in 10min" Never arrived...finally got one the next day when were packed and on our way out. Didn't have time to use it. - Reasonably convenient for day trips to Pompeii or Amalfi Coast but nothing else to offer. Would consider staying at Serrento next time - Photos are nothing like the Hotel. Yes it has had a make over but I won't be staying here again. - There are much better Hotels to stay than here, please save your money and don't stay here
Bob (10/5): A diamond in the rough - If you know Naples you know the area surrounding the Central Train Station and the Circumvesuviana Station (that gets you to Sorrento) is tough looking (heck its down right seedy) however we never felt un-safe. 6 blocks from Central Station and just 2 to Circumvesuviana it was great for getting to the Amalfi Coast and if you like walking you can go to the corner and walk along the coast to the ferries to Capri, Procida and Ichia. Hotel itself was updated with the biggest shower I've seen in Italy. Included coffee and a roll in the morning from the coffee bar in the lobby. Front dest attended 24 hours. Hotel next door seems very seedy but no hookers around. Air conditioner worked fine and you controlled it yourself. Staying in this part of Napoli is not for everyone but if you are not scared in say Manhattan late at night your fine here. If you are stay in Santa Lucia. There is a fantastic restaurant San Remo on the way to Central Station. Overall excellent value.
idan (8/5): good hotel. average location - the hotel condition is really good. modern room with nice services. good AC, big tv and clean bathroom. the hotel is near the train and bus main station..and 10 mins from napoli old city. the breakfast could be better...
Anonymous (4/5): NICE HOTEL, BAD LOCATION - The hotel was nice, but it was in a terrible area! If you go to Naples, stay more towards the center far away from the train station. There was literally homeless people and garbage all over the street. It looked and seemed unsafe. The hotel was modern and nicely decorated, but almost seemed out of place in the area it was in! If you need to stay somewhere near the train station, then this hotel is GREAT, but if you plan on doing a lot of traveling within the city, stay closer to the historic center! :)
Verified traveler (8/5): Budget-conscious, train-convenient, value - Tucked away, tough to find hotel but great value. 2 blocks from trains to Pompei & Sorrento; walk to lots but takes about 15 min. to anything; rough feeling neighborhood but don't think it was actually dangerous. Very large/nice/new bathrooms, comfy bed & down comforter (rare), SILENT room when all windows closed but would have been tough if we needed them open; free wifi, language barrier though helpful at desk;
