The mini bar is horrible , when i open the door it smell bad
The sheets is very old
- Povšin (9/5): Clean with friendly staff, good value for the price - It was very clean, staff was friendly but jusr the surroundings seem a bit sketchy. Still very good value for the price. Location is not the best
- Martin (10/5): Nice Lady and good guests - Everything Nothing

- Anthony (10/5): - Excellent in a price u pay in DTLA
- Anthony (10/5): - I highly recommend this place to stay if u come to DTla on a budget , decent, crlean, quite and cloe to all. Rooms are clean and u don't fear of having bugs at the hotel . Front desk staff where considerate and very welcoming, feels at home.
- Rafael (8/5): - Ghvehs
- Moses (6/5): first time - maybe I haven't been in big city in concerts, events ,conferences etc but the big issue was the parking hard to find closed and been not familiar with the streets was kind scary to drive for food or medicines but everything else was okay .
- CHRISTIAN (8/5): - Shower faucet missing could. Not take a shower ….. keep more plugs as well
- Genesis (6/5): - Clean room, really nice staff, but parking very limited not good at all
- Willy (10/5): - Like it
- Braulio (8/5): - I liked the price, it was affordable and not too expensive. It was nice for the price we got it for.
- CHRISTIAN (10/5): - It’ was good staying here
- Tyler (8/5): - It was a very nice modernized grandparents house
- Juan (6/5): - Staff was friendly, area was somewhat clean for what it is. The place had limited amenities; no ice machine had to walk to a liquor store, the pool had no water. Moreover, there was a vallet fee of 15 in wich you park your own car and it was not noted when making the reservations. Lastly the AC temperature was locked and had to manhandled the door to the restroom. Would like a refund.
- Brook (10/5): - Best value.
- Pepe (10/5): - Nice and clean lm happy
- samuel (2/5): - To noise and unsafe
- Lennea (8/5): - Clean and good service. Lack of amenities but good for the price
- keith (6/5): - Exterior not ro clean
- danny (8/5): - Property has the necessary item for a pleasant and not expensive stay . I do recommend this place if you want to save some money . Everything is clean and staff is very polite . For the price was perfect.
- Mehari (2/5): - Service was the worst.
- José (4/5): - The hotel itself looks like its abandon the rooms don't look anything like on their website the parking its terrible. Not what I expected for the price
- Anna Josephine (8/5): - The check in and out was efficient, except I didn't know they took a $100 deposit until I got there. There were a lot of signs posted about all the rules, and I wish there were some plastic utensils provided. Clean and quiet though! Definitely correlates with the price.
- Nicolas (8/5): - Good budget option
- Dawn (8/5): - Watch your charges. They took my credit card for a “$100 deposit” and then charged it.
- Ratu (10/5): - The stay was pleasant & the rooms were great
- Porfiria (4/5): - Very sorry to say but the property was infested with roaches. It was not a clean environment very said because i was looking forward to staying here after a very long flight from New Jersey. I was unable to sleep under the comforter because i was afraid to remove the sheets due to the infestation . I rented two rooms but i will not return here. Sorry for the bad review it was very disappointing
- Jeanette (8/5): - My boyfriend and I spent the night for easy access to LA live. Overall pleasantly surprised with the pricing given its downtown LA, hotel room was well kept. Also it was $15 for parking, can’t beat that for a Saturday night. Only offside is the area, we didn’t feel safe walking outside and ordered an Uber instead. Sunday morning there was a lot of noise from outside guests.
- Godwin (10/5): - 4.5/5 love it . Great location rooms are clean price is affordable. Great staff . The thing I didn’t like is too many signs of dos and don’t inside The room and bathroom which they can just hand u piece of paper saying that but it’s all over door bathroom and the piece of paper they gave u in the counter can get tooooo much but aside from it’s ok
- Linda (10/5): Rare find and GREAT price - This hotel is clean and has excellent curious communication. Super sweet lady checked us in. For the price this is a rare find.
- Eric (8/5): - Good location for being close to downtown on a budget. Down side is that parking is tight and limited.
- Maria (10/5): - Definitely will be planning on staying here again if I am ever in LA again
- Bryan (2/5): - Hello - I already contacted Expedia the night of our stay because we had to leave after 10 minutes and requested a full refund from Expedia. This location was unclean and unsafe.
- Ian (6/5): - Stayed here for Super Bowl 2022. I would just say you get what you pay for! Property wasn’t luxurious but inside room was very clean! Staff were friendly and professional.
- Mark (2/5): - There is nothing good to say about this “hotel”. From urine stains on the bed, dirty Silverware left in the closet, a hole in the wall from the door, terrible water pressure and temperature, stains all over the walls, bugs and our clogged toilet that we called 3 times about and didn’t get it fixed until the cleaning lady came to switch out our towels. Oh and they wanted us to unclog it ourselves. This was the worst “hotel” I have ever stayed at. It needs to rebrand to a motel because that’s they kind of place it actually is.
- Mitchell (4/5): - Roaches,
- Charlotte (2/5): - I did not stay there. I did not realize it is in such a dirty, unsafe environment, so when I arrived there, I told the lady at the desk I am cancelling my reservation and I am leaving. So I left.
- Keith (10/5): - The hotel was clean and a good place to stay since we were going to a concert nearby.
- blanca (4/5): - The hotel was in a good area but the room it’s self was awful way to small there was holes in the wall a lot of noise and honestly just not that great
- shellbie (4/5): - I booked this place traveling from the East Coast to attend an event at The NOVA....and let me tell you!! This place is not it! You get what you pay for! It's literally a lot of junkies & homeless people along the street within this area. It is a turn & burn, f*ck & duck type of place. It's truly really NOT walking distance either to the NOVA. No bugs but not worth it either. Took a minute for hot water to heat up, there is a window unit, fridge, & microwave. Ladies, no lighting by the bathroom mirror!! It's No carpet but I still didnt walk around barefooted. Customer service was great though!
- Supriya (2/5): - We didn't even stay at this place and they still charged us.
- Muralidhar (2/5): - Housekeeping lady very obliging … that’s only good thing about this place
Front desk man horrible person
- Hector (4/5): - There’s no hot water
- Dylan (10/5): dope. - Overall good experience.Dope rooms, fair price, they let me pay late with cash like everyday.way cool.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Front desk has horrible costumer service they yelled and me as also treated me very poorly after I traveled from Atlanta i had the worst experience
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Clean it's very clean no idlers and it felt safe.
Water in shower was hot
- Shawndell (2/5): Horrible at Any Price! - This Hotel is roach infested! Do not stay here!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good hotel I loved it definitely will come back
- Narvelle (6/5): Cold night-free parking - The staff were very Couteous n friendly, however there is no continental breakfast, so don't let that determine your choice here. Understandable, the building is old, so the room was cold n the indoor heating unit never heated the room fully. There are no vending machines so i mapped myself to 7 eleven to buy cold beverages. The bedding included a bottom n too sheet, thin blanket in between n another sheet. Im sure the warmer blankets aren't provided due to covid, but i was cold the entire night stay. The hotel is conveniently located, so making appointments n keeping them is duable...
- Oliver (10/5): Great price, room and location - Great location and comfortable, clean room. Would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good for price, the room is actually pretty decent.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - an employee with the name of anna have totally disrespected me and a few times already , and one time she have actually called my room rudely to tell me that I used too much toilet paper and that I'm using 2 rolls of toilet paper a day and that this wasn't included in my $90.00 a day fee , and after that I booked the room on Expedia I woke up the next day and was trying to pay for one more day , and anna rudely tells me to check out and that she doesn't want to rent me the room anymore and that she is going to refund the money to Expedia , and when I was so pissed about that insult and asked her to refund the money , she refused to refund it because she was hoping to insult me and just get away with it for free , and so for that I checked out and never went back there again
- catherineeK8809MA (6/5): Stop over - Great location, near large mall and short walk to Staples centre.
Some convience store near by. Also a couple of small eateries.
Hotel appeared to be going through some changes.
The room was large enough with two double beds and the beds were quite comfortable.
The towels and bedding were thin material.
The floor had been done recently.
Large fridge and microwave, air conditioning.
Bathroom still needs some work, but it was clean.
They have dispensers in shower for your needs.
Small pool, which they need to clean a bit more and to which they keep locked up.
You have to ask them to open it. They told me it was the law.
Breakfast included, but we did not take advantage.
- Patrick (8/5): Good stay convenient place and area near downtown1 - Great place to stay local area downtown, 10 minute walk to Staples Center LA LIVE!
- F7227FIjg (8/5): Basic, clean motel in convenient location. - Stayed here two nights while in LA. Wanted a room close to downtown and the Staples center. Read mixed reviews but didn't have a problem with the place at all. Bit of a grimy area, as is much of downtown LA, but didn't find it all that dangerous. Compact, clean room with a comfortable bed and all the basic essentials. Good shower. Staff fairly pleasant, and will store bags of needed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Rooms are clean and good location for business.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The cleanliness of the room was most impressive. It was walking distance to a shopping center and felt safe because the parking lot was well lit. Will keep in mind when staying in the area again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Modest but clean, comfortable, safe and affordable in downtown Los Angeles.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - worked out well clean good staff / if we were staying in downtown L.A. we would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The stuff is very nice. Room is clean. Morning coffee is good. :-)
- Lek (8/5): - This is just a previously-crappy motel that was recently remodeled. It is a BARELY adequate place, but I LIKE IT A LOT! It’s everything you NEED and nothing you don’t. Parking could be better, but street parking out front is easy on a Saturday night and Sunday morning. Beds good. Plenty of towels. Lighting could be better at the sink. Shower valve leaks loosing 1/3 of the flow to the head, so it works poorly. Hot water is turned off after some late night time. 1:30am shower? Forget it! Quiet location, noisy walls. Fridge in the room is roomy and empty, just like I like it. I will definitely stay here again! Location is not a walking neighborhood, but its close to downtown.
- Edgardo (2/5): No parking- no balcony- shower sucks - When i booked the room it said free parking upon arrival the small parking lot was full i asked attendant wher can i park he said behind the hotel u can pay 13$ for parking its first come first served here also i booked the room with a balcony !no! room has a balcony also shower was a hassle the war will jump from hot to cold the whole shower time☹
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The TV didn't work, I had no WiFi connection and the heater was broken. I could have found a much cheaper place to stay at, that actually offers the previous three things that I mentioned. At least, if you want to go to Downtown LA, the location is good...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was re-modeled with a clean, modern look. Not fancy, but you could tell it was upgraded.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room with two double beds was great because there is a wall separating the two beds, which gave us privacy and was the perfect set up for our family.
- Brian (10/5): - Older place. Newly remodeled room. Very comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave in the room. No frills but great for businesses travel.
I will stay rhere again
- Julian M. (10/5): Great stay! - Looks sleazy from the outside and I expected less but they definitely surprised me! The room was really nice and clean and there were plenty of towels. Water could have been hotter but nonetheless, had a great experience and the again, the rooms are quite nice. Don’t judge from the outside! Get a room and experience it!
- Claudia (4/5): Blah! - Very small room. Found a roach on the table once I was getting ready to sleep.
- SallyP (6/5): - We will NEVER use EXPEDIA again. Their travel insurance is very TRICKY. DO NOT USE!
They make it seem very easy to cancel your reservation but it is not. They require legal documentation for everything. I purchased their travel insurance and my son got sick and we couldn't go on our trip but in order to cancel and get our money back we needed a doctor's note with diagnosis. Since he was not sick enough to go to a doctor, we lost the entire amount we paid for our hotel stay. Yes, it says it in their 19-page legal documentation but the way they sell it makes it seem so simple to cancel for any reason if you can't go.
We will tell all our friends to never use Expedia!
- Shan (8/5): - Loved that there was free parking and a handicap spot when I arrived. The bathroom window didn’t have a screen and no ventilation fan in the bathroom.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Worst hotel ever, there were people walking around flashing lights through the window and ran off after I turned the light on
- Waverider (8/5): - Location to downtown places; egs. staples center, little Tokyo, Chinatown, korea town, bus stops, metro stop, restaurants, shops and convenience stores
- Christina (10/5): - Really great management that allowed us early check in for no extra cost as well as held our luggage after we checked out so we could continue exploring the city before our flight home. Great location that was central to everything we wanted to do. Laurel at the front desk was awesome and extremely helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel was not kept up. tiles were cracked, shower didn't work, there was no parking, and "breakfast" consist on cereal and coffee.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Walking distance to staples Center The price for the room was pretty good and even had a refrigerator in my room
- W. (8/5): - Quiet and easily accessable to everything and where.
- smruti (8/5): Decent stay near downtown - The hotel is close to downtown LA.
The room was clean but the bed was a spring mattress and was quite uncomfortable. Didnt’t have breakfast as I had to leave early by 6.30AM . Parking was free.
- Armando (10/5): - Convenient location great price I recommend it I enjoyed the neighborhood and staff was accommodating we ask for ice they gave us a bag. When in La I’ll stay here again.
- Alain (4/5): Budget property not worth the money - Parking lot is small and fills up fast,so you might have to park offsite for $13 per night in lot behind hotel. Couldn't sleep because you could hear everything from the room next door. The walls are paper thin and there was TV on all night and a clicking sound coming from inside the walls? Continental breakfast is over by 9am in case you want.
- Kamila (2/5): - Awful place.
- Jenny (10/5): Great service - Great location and great staff. Laurel was very friendly and gave us great advice to where to go to.
- Stuart (8/5): - Surprisingly quiet. Clean.
- Ginabel (8/5): - Very friendly staff. Parking was challenging. the area was a little sketchy. But I would stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was close to my brother’s apartment & clean. Staff was great, especially Lorral (so?).
Please stop using styrofoam!!!!
- Dieng (8/5): - Good location, 5 minutes walk to the subway train station, connect to Universal City, Hollywood, universal studio.
The staff work quickly to resolve no power problem we had at Christmas eve. 👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location is amazing. You will be very close to the metro station, which will make you don't need to rent a car. The room is big and very comfortable. It's simple, but it worth watch you are paying.
- Omar (10/5): - Nice rooms clean and friendly target was walking distance
- Freddie (10/5): - Staffs very friendly and accommodating specially Laurel and Rommel they were on duties when times that we stayed there , they gave us what we need during our over night stay . Place is accessible to everything. We will definitely comeback to this place when were going back to LA.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Check in was simple and quick. The staff was friendly and accommodating to my situation.
- Waquar (2/5): - Wors place to live
- Sarah (10/5): Awesome - Check in was easy and they were so nice! Came for a couple of concerts and it was inexpensive for the location. Would definitely stay again.
- Nadia (8/5): Basic Clean Lodging - Uber to the Rams game 10$ parking at the stadium is 65$ the beds were kinda firm location was downtown area seemed sketchy but the room was very clean. Dont set your expectations too high
- YuriSasonov (2/5): Dangerous hotel to stay: Fire Alarm System is not working - On Nov 30th at 4AM and on Dec 1st whole night starting at 2AM the main fire alarm went off multiple times. We had to grab our jackets and run outside
Since the night manager of the hotel was nowhere to be found, we called to report the fire to the Fire Department. Fire departement crew has arrived multiple times and turn off the alarm and leave. After a while the central fire alarm of the hotel will start again and again. I asked Captain Millete what is the problem. He told me, the hotel's fire alarm system is very old. And there is nothing he can do about it. My whole family had no sleep at all for two nights in a row. The person with whom we checked out, told me to contact the management for a refund.
The hotel room we stayed in was dirty: bedsheets with blood stains and hair. No hot water on the first night. Broken shower handles. Ancient broken beds with terrible mattresses. Furniture drawers are not closing and missing door. It is the worst hotel we stayed in. This hotel has broken fire alarm system. It is dangerous to stay there!!!
- Lopez Y viana SC (8/5): - pretty comfortable room, very quiet
