• Nadezhda (10/5): Люблю этот отель - Я неоднократно останавливалась в этом атмосферном отеле с великолепным местоположением. Малюсенькие номера, но все продумано до мелочей. Для деловой поездки вполне комфортно.
• Nadezhda (10/5): Любимый отель - Как всегда, все прекрасно.Правда в этот раз мне впервые попался номер с кроватью во втором ярусе.Сначала было непривычно, потом даже интересно.Так что приеду снова.Особый шарм создает котяра.
• EVGENIYA (8/5): +++++ - В целом в отеле все хорошо от чистоты до обслуживающего персонала,очень воспитанный и приятный кот Бегемот, и обстановочка в целом Булгаковская,спасибо отдельное организаторам,мне все понравилось жалко нет кондиционеров.
• Elena (2/5): ужас за собственные деньги - "люкс" оказался маленькой комнатой в которую умудрились поместить "диван" с грязным матрасом кровать на "двоих" расположена так что просто невозможно в неё лечь чтобы не задеть что-либо или кого-либо "люкс" расположен на самом высоком этаже , нет лифта , нет кондиционера , дополнительное бельё для 3 человека надо было выпрашивать , холодильника тоже нет , на 2 этаже стоит очень старая и грязная микроволновая печь и подобие ещё какой-то печки очень грубое обращение , ..... цены дороже на 2,500 ,т.е. цены резко отличаются от тех когда бронируешь номер ..... ресепшионист заявила что у них свои цены , к сожалению не помню имени ресепшионист - может Адел или что-то такое.... очень грубая даже хамоватое обращение к счастью удалось найдти совершенно рядом настоящий отель с приемливами ценами и мы были рады переехать с этого ужасного "отеля " don't go there ! horrible "hotel"

• Nadezhda (2/5): Отказ от заселения по брони - Я намеревалась остановиться в этом отеле во второй раз, поскольку меня устраивало прежде всего расположение отеля, да и соотношение цена-качество было достойное. Однако, забронированный номер оказался занят, как было сказано :"по распоряжению руководства".Мне, правда, подыскали номер в другом отеле, но уже не в том районе, который мне был нужен для рабочей программы.Я прибыла в Москву на раннем поезде, отработала целый день, приехала в отель вечером и вместо необходимого отдыха еще долго добиралась на такси через пробки до другого отеля.Ну и оставшиеся 3 дня я перемещалась до работы не так легко, как планировала, и некоторые планы были сорваны.Извинения формально мне принесли, но больше никак мои потери времени и сил не были компенсированы.

Я заказывала раннее бронирование,поскольку поезд приехал рано утром и за несколько часов до заселения нас,администратор настаивал нам оплатить за пол дня по цене большей,чем я бронировала!!! Перепалка была длительной и не приятной!!! Но мы настояли на той цене,по которой я бронировала номер!!! А в остальном,все нормально!!!

In addition, the location is on Arbat street (one of main street in Moscow) and you can walk to red square and Kremlin!

• Elizaveta (8/5): На троечку... с натягом - Сначала о плюсах. Удобное расположение - пара минут пешком от ст.м. Смоленская. да и до ст.м. Арбатская недалеко. Прямо под боком небезысвестный Плотников паб (который правда был закрыт во время моего пребывания в Москве), да и вообще это же старый Арбат, тут всё прекрасно! Также очень интересно оформлены пролеты между лестницами. Персонал дружелюбный, отзывчивый. огромное зеркало во всю стену!!! Теперь о минусах. - слышно, не просто разговоры, как дышат в коридоре! (звукоизоляция) - стрёмный душ... душевая кабинка отделяется небольшой занавесочкой, и естественно вместе с тобой моется вся небольшая туалетная комната - невероятно маленькая комната! - нет шкафа, куда можно повесить платья и пальто, и куда можно сгрузить ботинки, только крючки при входе и комод - узкие проходы с лестницы к коридору с номерами - людям в теле или с большими сумками будет некомфортно, а тучным и инвалидам совсем сложно.

The location was good but it could be a bit difficult to find at first. When i checked in, the system didn't't work so the hotel asked to pay in cash. They said they would cancel the alreay frozen amount of payment for the first night of my reservation.

Заранее нужно быть готовыми к очень маленькому номеру, мизерной ванной, с душем без кабины, отсутствием звукоизоляции, проблемами с Wi-Fi. Но если только переночевать на несколько дней, вполне удовлетворительно, чисто, хорошее обслуживание. Главное легко куда-то добраться.
• alexandre (4/5): Hotel bien placé mais c'est tout. - Le manque de directions rend l'hotel difficile à trouver. L'accueil n'est pas non plus très chaleureux. Une fois les clés de la chambre en main, douche froide... Il n'y avait même pas la place d'ouvrir nos 2 valises. La salle de bain est celle d'un camping car (on se douche dans les toilettes). Le mur de la salle de bain donnant sur la chambre était rongé par l'humidité suite à une fuite qui n'a pas été reparée. Bref, seul et unique point fort de l'hotel son emplacement. Mais sachant que le métro de Moscou n'est pas trés cher et qu'il est nécessaire de le prendre pour aller sur les lieux touristiques (place rouge), je recommande de réserver pour le même tarif dans un hotel plus confortable un peu plus loin.

• Megan (8/5): Nice little place - Hotel Bulgakov is a very nice little hotel. A lot of attention has been put into the decoration, which is very sweet. It's clean and the staff is helpful. The rooms are VERY TINY (or at least ours was) so if you're not used to small independent European hotels you may be a bit shocked.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location, but overpriced/basic accommodation - By far the best part of this hotel was the location. On Arbat St. it's very easy to walk around and get to the main tourist attractions. There was nothing specifically wrong with the hotel room. In fact, I was given a double room (two beds instead of one) instead of the single which I ordered. However, the room would still qualify as very basic accommodation. I was only there for one night, but it is not the type of room I would choose to spend really any time in at all. Just as an example, the bathroom had everything incorporated into one room, meaning that the shower rained down onto the toilet and sink. The staff were quite nice (although not much English, if that's important to you). All in all, I would be willing to stay at this place if it were half the price I paid, but it's possible rates were raised for me due to the weekend I traveled.

• Ib Gram-Jensen (8/5): Charmerende hotel med perfekt beliggenhed - Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, ekstra opredning på dobbeltværelse, som følge heraf ingen sengetøjsskift eller støvsugning under 8 dages ophold, da det var svært at komme til. Det var også eneste minus. Hotellets beliggenhed ud til Gammel Arbat er ideel, indretningen er hyggelig og charmerende, og prisen er det umuligt at udsætte noget på. Anbefales.

• Александр (8/5): Утварь на лестничных клетках - Не смотря на близость Арбата, в номере достаточно спокойно и тихо. Номера крохотные, но уютные. Стены имеют следы облезлостей и требуют копеечного ремонта или просто покраски. В целом близко к оценке хорошо. Вот только старая утварь на лестничных клетках создает впечатление, что ночуешь в захламленном помещении.

• Gabriela (8/5): - Все было хорошо, понравилось. Все чисто и уютно, персонал доброжелательный. Что касается расположение отеля, очень тяжело его найти.
• wabcde (8/5): Correct économique et bien placé, pas romantique - Chambre très très petite, très bien chauffée (en mars c'est utile), tout y est en miniature. Ce n'est pas un palace romantique, mais il est 2 à 3 fois moins cher. Les chambres sont indépendantes, avec un coin cuisine par étage (nous n'en avons pas profité) mais il y a de la promiscuité (le lit est collé à la porte qui est directement sur le couloir). Accueil de jour très sympathique et professionnel (aide pour un taxi vers l'aéroport pas cher), la nuit c'est un ouvre porte ! La porte est très dur à trouver (contourner la place à la statue par la droite, dans la 2ème arrière cours, à droite, puis à droite!). Finalement très satisfait pour un court séjour (3 nuits quand même). Et je confirme que c'est très bien placé.

• MB1 (8/5): Excellent Location - Fantastic location 2 minutes walk from the metro station and relatively quiet, just off Arbat St. Nicely refurbed bedrooms with use of a shared kitchen if needed. Very friendly and helpful staff.
• rod (6/5): great location but its a hostel with private rooms - Daunting booking for Moscow 1st time. This was in an excellent safe area (ARBAT), with the tube just round the corner, or a 20 min stroll to Red Square, etc on foot. The stroll was easier than the tube. Hotel, was really a hostel in a big building with private rooms (we booked a double, but they have twins and others as well). It was very basic, but friendly and relatively clean. Kitchen was only two small rings (ok for spag ball, etc), toaster, kettle and fridge. The boy at reception spoke good English and was a great help.
• Fred (10/5): Amazing location! - The location of this hotel is amazing given the price, right on the old Arbat and only a 15 minute walk from Red Square. The room we had was small, but there are communal rooms too - including a kitchen where you can make tea and coffee for free. The decor was really good - loved the little black cats on the walls! - and the hotel has certainly made the most of the small space it has. Finding it can be hard - its round the back through the courtyard - keep going until you think you can't possibly go any more!

• Lorna (8/5): Micro hotel - First it is hard to find because it is behind the building in the alleyway. We did not get that from the information provided. It is colorful and nice to finally get to even if had to carry luggage upstairs which is difficult for older people. No help was provided or offered. The staff was very helpful, the hotel is clean, the room is tiny, only narrow walkway between twin beds. No place to hang clothes and sit toiletries. Bathroom clean but VERY smelly. Had to shut door to sleep. The shower uses the bathroom floor for its bottom therefore water all over everything in the bathroom after a shower. There was a note about curtains, but there were none. The location of this place is fabulous but it is in conjunction with a hostel so young people are coming in and out at all hours of the night and day and all night long you can hear the buzzer to let them in and then they come to the small lobby and chat and it was about the noisiest place I have ever stayed at. Having said all that, I would probably go back to it.
• Zardoz (4/5): Nice location but a disappointing stay - Unfriendly staff at reception, requested cash payment, when I said I'm tired and can't go out to get cash now she wanted to hold my passport as ransom until paid which I din't give in and she had to let me have my own way at the end but was unpleasant. Double room was very small (next to reception#, two sides of bed adjacent to walls and only barely space to walk around on the other two sides. Toilet had shower head but no shower cubicle, everything and everywhere gets wet when you take a shower, not great! Hotel apparently gives 5% discount if you give good review #there's a sign inside the room for this, enclosed) but I chose to give an honest review instead! Only advantage of this hotel is good location, right next to Arbat Street and near the metro station as stated. Parking is street parking, if and when you can find a space to park.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Awesome location - The best thing about Bulkagov is the location. Arbat Ulitsa is a very unique and cool part of Moscow and a must see. This hotel is a 3 minute walk to a metro station and at one end of the pedestrian only street. It's a great staring point to check out the place. The staff is also very helpful and attentive. The only thing detracting from it is that the rooms are small and the showers are in the same space as your toilet with no separation so to not get water all over the floor around your toilet and sink you have to use one of the common showers....
• Verified traveler (8/5): Under renovation - Tourist hotel with fantastic location. Construction still on going-->hallway and lobby area dusty. Room OK for sleeping. No space for e.g .working. Friendly reception service. After renovation should be really nice tourist hotel for its price. Free WiFi works well. No breakfast, though Arbat street has many cafeterias and restautrants.
• Stefanie (6/5): Great if they don't cancel your booking! - I would definitely stay here again, BUT i would make sure i email the hotel direct to confirm/pay for the booking. Even though the hotel had confirmed my booking with this website, when i arrived they told me that my booking had been cancelled because the card details i gave were using AMEX (even though the website said they took AMEX). They hadn't contacted me or the website to say so and with a little intervention from this website, i eventually got a room. It was however, not the room i had booked (they had re-sold that) and i ended up in a room with a shared bathroom. This wasn't ideal, but as i needed to stay in the same area for a similar price (and there are no other options for this) i had to stay. Once this was all sorted, i greatly enjoyed the hotel - the staff are fantastic, the location is great and i like the independant/alternative nature of the place, but i'm pretty unhappy with what happened with the booking. Not sure whether to blame the hotel (as they didn't contact me to request a new card type or tell me they were cancelling the booking) or the website (they apparently don't supply my contact details, and the card type only gets sent through the day before arrival), but if you are happy to book either directly or email them to confirm your booking then i would definitely recommend this hotel.
