Michael (2/5): Unpleasant and disturbing. Couldn’t wait to get out. Would NOT recommend. - Staff were kind but that is all I liked about the property. Not clean, found a used condom in the room which upset me as I was travelling with kids. Another room door in hotel was open as occupants must have checked out and there were soiled bedding which made me feel uncomfortable.

Ioana (8/5): Decent quality for the money, friendly staff - The hotel is in a central district, very close to the city center attractions, and their staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is amazing. We booked a standard room at it had no windows. Granted, it showed in the pictures of these particular rooms and we didn't check, so this is merely a heads-up for you to check before booking. We upgraded to another room for a decent cost. However, what we didn't like was that the rooms were not very clean. The bidet faucet was also leaking badly.

Wall’s fan is too noisy; need to be replaced. 2 free drinking water bottles are too small and insufficient to drink and make coffee; should provide slightly larger bottle. Beds are not comfortable; need new replacement. Room cleaning staff and morning breakfast are hard working and good. Receptionists need some improvement in english.
Laura (5/5): Cheap, no frills. - It was adequate for what it was. Breakfast didnt cater to westerners very well. Could have more western food options. Room and bathroom was quie old. Hot water randomly stopped working. Not amazingly clean. The english skills of the people in businesses around the area were much better than the bulk of the staff.

Mari (8/5): Very good - I liked the decor and the facilities available to make tea and coffee. The location, the friendly staff and the modern look was great. Netflix and wifi was good. Definitely would stay here again. The bathroom can do with a good humidifier to avoid damp. The shower needs to be cleaned with a better tile mold killing product. It looked like it was not cleaned even though it was cleaned. However, this could be due to the humidity in the bathroom. It could be only my room that experiences this.

The beds were very comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect - close to many attractions and restaurants. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including all the necessary amenities. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

Alison (8/5): Hotel in a good location - We had a good spacious room with two bathrooms for our family of 4. The room was made up each day with bottled water. Our stay included breakfast with a reasonable variety of Vietnamese and western foods. The doormen were really friendly always greeting us on arrival and helpful in helping us with our children to cross the road and hailing taxis. The hotel was in a good location, with a couple of parks a few minutes walk away to escape the traffic for a bit, and also walking distance to a few museums (war remnants, reunification palace). Some noise of closing doors in the middle of the night.

It is different between on the booking.com and on the requirement from Hotel. (Booking.com say total price include tax invoice 8%, but Hotel said it is not include tax invoice 8%).

The rooms were very comfortable, i stayed in the delux one, which was much much better than the standard one and the price difference between the two was minimal. Also the delux room had a bigger bathtub, which was perfect fornmy 4-year-old son. The staff hardly spoke English, but they did their best to help and make our stay nice and enjoyable.

Pal (7/5): Just OK - Location was good, lots of other hotels were also there. Walking distance from Independence Palace and some good restaurants are in walkable distance. Just beside the hotel there are Nataraj Indian restaurant, Family Mart & Circle K stores. 1) The room size was very small, it was not airy (only a small window). AC was not working properly. Nosy wardrobe doors, room clock was not working. 2) The breakfast were almost finished when we went at 9 AM (the breakfast timing was: 6 AM to 10 AM), but the staffs tried to manage quickly with some rice, noodles & fruits, but no slice breads were there. It was not managed in a proper way. 3) We extended our check out from 12 PM to 9 PM (9 hours) & for that we have to pay 400,000 VND (after little negotiation, which is the half day price), which was ok, but overall it was not a very professional experience. Every time we were reminded about the check out time etc. No extra water bottles were provided for this. 4) We did not take room service for a day & after telling 2 times, 2 bottle of water was given. But no extra tea etc. given. So, basically these things were not taken up proactively. 5) English speaking ability is very less considering it is a reasonable big hotel in HCMC, the English communication ability should have been better.

Kate (7/5): Needs an update, but great location - Ideal for a short stay in HCMC. The location is great and is a short walking distance from plenty of cafes, restaurants, markets and tourist attractions. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious, and the staff were always friendly. The hot breakfast options weren't available on the day we stayed, besides some noodles that they offered to prepare for us. The main options were fruit and coffee, but there are plenty of street food options in the surrounding area. The rooms are quite dated and the bath didn't hold the water well, so it drained away even with the plug in.

Dmitri (4/5): You should choose another L'Harmonie hotel - Nice lobby, fine location, friendly staff. Hotel rooms as well as breakfast area look like they're waiting for renovation for decades. Stains on the carpet, on the walls, leaking air conditioner, broken shower curtain, damaged doors, hanging cords, etc. I strongly suggest you to choose another L'Harmonie hotel, they're much better.

Kistensamy (6/5): My experience at L 'Harmonie, by Serena - Check-in was smooth, and our rooms were clean. The location was central and easy to find on Google maps. Good variety of restaurants and cafès around. Basic hotel provisions were provided. It was what we expected, according to the pictures online. Perfect for tourists looking for a place to come back to sleep after a day of touring. The front desk helped greatly with organising tours and a bus to our next destination. Just a heads up, there is another hotel with the same name, and it is a bit confusing initially as the name does not come up on the Grab app. We were caught off guard when we were asked for our passports to be kept at the front desk for the duration of the stay, and we said no. Instead of asking if we would like to pay upfront or after, the atmosphere and tone changed by the front desk , and there was no understanding that it would be a big risk for us if anything happened to our passports, as we are foreigners in Vietnam. The room was adequate. However, the air circulation and a/c could have been a bit better. As a vegetarian, the food options lacked variety for breakfast. Every day, I could only eat sweet potato, sweet corn, and watermelon. One last thing, I was excited for the bathtub, but the plug didn't work and drained the water. The water was also lukewarm.
