- Stefyforpeace (6/5): Quite good - The studio is very comfortable, although rather small. It is equipped with everything you need, and the 24/7 concierge service is extremely useful (but people not so smart). The washing machines and dryers are also very convenient. The location is excellent and the value for money is good. The only downside is the cleanliness. The room was full of dust: I had to wash many of the items I put in the wardrobe and clean the suitcases I had placed on top of it because they were completely covered in dust. I used brand-new slippers and after just a few hours the soles were completely dusty. Overall, it would really take very little to make it perfect.
- newamush (8/5): It's Like You're Home And Having A Staycation. - This is my go to spot when I travel to London. This was my 5th stay and just booked my 6th stay in May. Seems to be off the beaten path, but is easily convenient to any part of London (allowing for tube service). Three major tube stops within walking distance takes you almost anywhere you need to be. The kitchenettes are a great way to help say a bit of money. There is a Waitross within walking distance (in the Brunswick Center with a bunch of businesses) where you can stock up on food and snacks as well as a large wine department. On the trip from the hotel to the Russell Square tube station, there are many businesses and places to eat from really cheap and "neighborhood-y" to more expensive if you want to splurge. Everytime I stay here, I feel like I'm a local on a "staycation." It's the perfect getaway. Is it a bit overprice?? Maybe, considering it is not the most updated facility. But, if you're looking for a nice, friendly neighborhood experience, I highly recommend. Oh, no elevators which can be an issue if you have trouble with stairs (which I do). I recommend reaching out before hand and they do try to accommodate.

- Fontana (6/5): - Room was small for 2 people, but doablefor 1 night. If your staying more nights, it would get a little tight. We like to cook at home when we can and the space would've been a bit snug. Otherwise it's a great location lots of cool shops and pubs around. Unit was clean.
- Timothy (8/5): Good Value for London - We chose this hotel based on the reasonable price, room size and location. We booked the Executive Studio. The room size was great and we liked having the small kitchen. The down side was the very small bathroom. It was functional, but the shower was tiny and the sink was small with minimal shelf space to put your accessories. Also, there wasn’t an electrical outlet in the bathroom. On the plus side, the location worked out great, with good restaurants close by, and easy walking distance to three subway stations, which we used a lot. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.
- Tainet (8/5): - Nothing to see on the patio, it's covered by 3 walls and on the basement floor , NO KITCHEN in this room, hotels. com sells it as it has kitchen but it doesn't, the bed is extremely small, hardy fit my husband and I , it's barely a full size bed, no cleaning service and we were there 6 days, the chairs in the patio were rusted, this room is only good for 1 person, it was really difficult to fit the luggage.

One did come to room to help fix plumbing in her good clothes though. Major train terminal and good pubs nearby. Beautiful front street, like a movie. Quaint.

- Wendy (4/5): - Person on reception was nice. Room I booked should not legally be allowed to be rented out. Required climbing over a double bed to get to the kitchen bench. Second room most uncomfortable pillows I had in all the 12 accommodations I booked whilst travelling. Two fridges in the room with the one I choose to use not working, ruining my food before realising there was a second one. Tired, run down. Dirty laundry bags regularly left in the hall. Cleaning person pushed past me in the tiny hallway whilst chatting on her mobile rather than letting me get through. Disappointed and not what I expected, particularly given the photos shared on Hotels.com and how nice the street is.

- Shaheer (6/5): - Nice clean room and easy check in and check out. Location is great but studio itself was dated and the mattress was feeling it's age and uncomfortable for a few nights. Slight updates needed and it would be a 5 star property in a great location.
- R (4/5): - Well, the room was tiny and semi-basement but ok in principle for 1 night. The place was quiet. There was a Henry vacuum cleaner left on the stairs half-landing which might have been a trip hazard to anyone with very poor sight, like my wife. The first issue with the room was that the safe deposit box was locked. We said nothing as it didn’t matter to us. However,at 5 a.m. this morning we discovered that the shower was unusable as the temperature was extremely hot and could not be successfully adjusted. So a quick wash had to suffice. I want a partial refund for this. When i mentioned this as i handed backthe keys at about 6 a.m. I was basically told it was our fault fornot working the controls properly. We know all about how to adjust showers and pressing buttons etc! It was broken.

Kitchenette with refrigerator and oven/stove, etc. was handy to have for heating leftovers, making coffee/tea, etc. No A/C, and room was stuffy so we kept radiator turned off and opened windows to cool off, small fan supplied was not very powerful but helped to move the air a bit. Water temp in the shower was hard to control. Otherwise, a decent choice for the price!

Public transportation is close, dining is close, pubs are close, British museum and other points of interests are near by. The studio had everything I needed, kitchen was equipped, bed was comfy and it was clean. I felt safe in the neighborhood even when coming back late. I recommend this place.

- Maureen (8/5): - I have stayed at Studios2let a number of times now and always enjoyed my stay. I like the 24 hour reception which gives an extra layer of safety. The kitchenette in the room is a bonus especially in London. The area around the apartments is lovely, and so close to the West End.

- Christine (8/5): - Good accommodation in a safe area close to restaurants and 10 minutes walk to St Pancras. The sink in the kitchen area in our studio was difficult to access as it was in a corner. The corridor from the front door was often lined with bags of laundry.

I could have the window open all night, it was totally quiet except for the occasional police sirene. Many places to eat in walking distance for all kinds of meals. The staff was very friendly and present 24/7, which is convenient sometimes. The apartment furniture was a bit worn down, but I don’t expect things to be brand new, I don’t need that. The cleanliness was perfect and that’s important. Next time I travel to London, I intend to stay there again.

When you sit on the toilet your knee is up against the wall and if you are very tall, you probably cannot sit on the toilet.
- Matthew (8/5): Almost Perfect - ❤️🇬🇧 - The location of Studios2Let Bloomsbury is fantastic and close to Euston station, Kings Cross and St. Pancras International. The units were clean, staff was friendly and the neighborhood safe, even in the early hours in the morning. The only reason I did not give a five-star review was that the bathroom was tiny as in micro. There was hardly enough room to turn around in the bathroom. Would we stay again? Yes in a heartbeat. Just be warned about the small bathrooms of the studio room.

We paid for late checkout but woken by cleaning staff at 8am as they were trying to access the room well before check out time. We also got a phone call from Reception telling us we should have vacated the room until I reminded them that we had paid for late check out.

Bed slides across floor so constantly moving back to head board even when you put you pillow against it it slide down between. Have to sit on bed as no place for chair. Staff nice location good for both train stations, and goid pubs on both sides of hotel

- AM (6/5): - Studios2Let is generally a good place to stay despite rather mediocre service at times. The hotel is in a prime location in Central London which makes it an extremely popular place to stay. The Good Points - My room,, a "large budget" studio was adequate. It was newly refurbished and nicely decorated. However, there was no arm chair or side table as reflected on the hotel's website. When I told the desk clerk that my room was missing a side table, his response was "And so?". So, he clearly couldn't be bothered. So, I went to IKEA and purchased a small side table for the room. You're welcome Studios2Let! Also, despite being told that my room would be cleaned once a week, it was only cleaned twice during my month long stay. The area is generally safe, however, as mentioned in previous reviews, drug dealers have been seen hanging out across from the hotel plying their trade and local businesses also warnof rampant petty theft. All in all I'd rate Studios2Let a 7/10.

- IVAN (6/5): - We arrived early at St. Pancras Station on the Eurostar from Paris. It was pouring with rain, and we walked to the hotel. As if that weren't enough, the person at the desk was very impatient with guests and somewhat rude. He mocked us as we were checking in, despite the bad day we'd had and the jet lag from our 10-hour flight to Paris a few days earlier (this man was over 40, slightly bald, and looked Middle Eastern). We were about to change hotels but decided to stay because we were tired. We stayed for about four days. Afterward, I asked for soap or towels, and there was another person at the desk, a much friendlier woman. The hotel in general is fine. It's a quiet area with great dining options and is within walking distance of the British Museum and Soho.

- samlP7222QB (2/5): Drug gang operating outside front entrance and one living in blue Mercedes - We only stay one night out of the 5 nights we had booked. I had booked 2 apartments for myself and two teenage children. There was a drug gang operating outside the front entrance with one living in a blue Mercedes with a smashed out back window. Four gang members were openly selling drugs to a stream of customers coming throughout the day and very late into the night. We were allocated rooms at the front of the building overlooking the drug gang’s operations and the tennis court. Every time I looked out the window they would stare up at me in an intimidating manner- I ended up closing the curtains and locking the windows on what was a warm sunny evening and could not get the AC working. At around 11pm there was an aggressive altercation outside. As you can imagine we got no sleep wondering what was coming next! At about 6am the Drug Gang member living in the blue Mercedes with a smashed out back window got out the car and was dancing in the street brushing his teeth, he then put his toothbrush down and mimicked shooting at the hotel - this was extremely intimidating behavior!! I went down to reception to tell them my concerns and asked to be moved to a different building as the company own several in the area . The receptionist said this was not possible, if I wanted to do that I would have to book it myself online and pay again!! I then said I was too scared to stay here any longer and asked for a refund for the remaining 4 nights, she spoke to a manager and he said NO REFUND was possible. I had paid £1,395 for two apartments for 5 nights. I left that day too scared to stay and had to pay again for further accommodation elsewhere. The receptionist said she was scared too as the gang member living in the car had been intimidating her too while she was in reception on her own. She had called the police that morning but they had told her there was nothing they could do unless the gang had actually hurt a guest or staff member. Avoid until the Drug Gang have moved out of the area!!! It’s not worth taking the risk!!

- Michelle (6/5): - Food options were limited in the area. The room was not what I expected, especially compared to the photo…..it was much smaller. There was no elevator and our room was on the top floor, so we had to tote heavy suitcases up many very narrow stairs. Would not recommend.

The best thing about Cartwright Gardens was it's proximity to the tube, busses, and trains (St. Pancras/King's Cross Station is a 10 minute walk), as well as the British Museum, British Library, Trafalgar Square, etc. The accommodations themselves are delightful. Small, of course, but containing everything needed for a comfortable and affordable stay. The kitchens have basic necessities-dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, dish soap and cloths. Lots of storage space for unpacking. A fan, safe and blowdrier in the wardrobe. Ironing and laundry facilities in the basement. I stayed here in July and it could get hot without air-conditioning. The window opens onto the street, facing a small park with tennis courts. As there is a language school across the way, the park and courts could get noisy at night, with the young adult language students hanging out there and other youth having loud conversations. If sleeping with a small fan and closed window isn't your scene, I'd recommend an air conditioned unit. That said, the street and area are gorgeous. Big trees, quiet mornings, beautiful heritage buildings. Even wildlife! Keep an eye out for the green parakeet that lives in one of the trees near the tennis court. The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. One lent me their French Press for the week, which was a godsend. Again: highly recommended.

- MARGARET (10/5): Home away from home - We had a lovely stay--felt like we had a home in London for a few weeks. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the place was kept very clean. My only warning is that the room is very small for a long stay. There was no place to be other than to lie in bed. The kitchen facilities were very useful, but the sink was in an odd place.
- Frank (6/5): - We had three rooms for six persons. All were unique. One was much hotter on the third floor. The others were ground level and stayed cooler. Bathrooms were tiny and need better lighting. I thought the booking had A/C, so was disappointed. No elevators. Lobby is supposed to be manned at all times but I visited multiple times on Sunday trying to get towels and found it closed for many hours.

- jane (8/5): - Clean and quiet , close to tube and train stations .I had a room at the back of the hotel and it was lovely and quiet , downside is it is no where near as big as it looks on the photos and the bathroom is tiny .No air con so it was stuffy in the warm weather .
- Maree (10/5): - Great property and great location. Property is clean and tidy and has everything you could need. There is also a washing machine and dryer that can be used free of charge. Location is close to buses and trains. It’s a quiet area and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe. Be mindful that this property has no lift.

- Archer_011 (8/5): Fitted the bill - Nicely set out studio as a solo traveller but might be a bit cosy for two if staying longer term. Its not the Ritz but it is comfortable and clean. Staff are polite but busy. Area was safe and in walking distance from both Russell Square tube and Euston Station, with a shopping centre and multiple eating establishments close by. Bed was comfortable. Two fold up chairs are provided for seating. Bathroom is cosy but adequete, shower door did not completely shut but wasn't an issue. Stove, fridge, crockery, utensils and cooking items were provided. Things stored in high cupboards are a bit of a challenge to reach if you are on the shorter side. Adequate laundry facilities are provided in the basement but it would be nice to have a small drying rack in the apartment. Bit of a mix up with cleaning days but sorted quickly. A little noise from an upstairs apartment on one occasion but on the whole very quiet. Only real issue was that the safe was locked and with a number of staff away there was no one available to unlock it. All in all I would be happy to stay here again.
- Maisie (10/5): Great Hotel and Staff - Stayed 2D1N in the standard studio and it was really spacious and clean. Lots of storage and comes with basic utensils/ equipment like a microwave etc. Staff was also amazing and accommodating when we wanted to book another night at the last minute - Shoutout to Angie!
- John (2/5): - Very unwelcoming staff on arrival. Bathroom was dirty and full of ants. Toilet stopped flushing intermittently. Very basic.

- Ian (6/5): Nice Location, Shame About Facilities - Nice enough apartment in a good location. Sadly let down by an extractor fan that sounds like a tractor engine, and diabolical TV service on an outdated TV.
- Helle (10/5): - Great location in a beautiful area. Small room, but had everything needed. Quiet area, not quite so quiet within the property, but would still definitely stay again.
- EDGAR (6/5): - The aparta-hotel is in good condition; but pricy!! Also the recepcionist wasn't very friendly.
- Malcolm (8/5): - Great location close to St Pancras Station for Cunard Cruise pick up. Interesting neighbourhood and walkable to many London sights. Good restaurants nearby. Room was small but all amenities available including aircon. Best suited to a short stay due to small room size. Overall suited our puposes well.
- Jeannine (8/5): - Property is in a good location. Tiniest room though we have ever stayed in. Check in they definitely didn’t go out of their way to be friendly. No lift. Area was quiet with lots of dining etc.
