The rooms are big and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making it very easy to book tours and arrange everything we needed. Room was immaculate, top tip pay a little extra for a family room, the balcony is great for watching the hustle n bustle below. Breakfast was superb. The bathroom was immaculate, rainforest shower too. All linen was clean and as new. Location perfect. Go out the door turn left, fantastic Viet restaurant. Turn right and you've got a snug local for a beer. Hotel is positioned for easy reach of all attractions too. Breakfast was delicious and catered for westerners too. Perfect stay, thank you Nothing

A hűtő nagyon büdös volt, egyszer nyitottam ki, de inkább nem tettem be semmit. Az erkélyajtó nem záródott jól, behallatszott minden zaj az utcáról. A reggelinél nem volt túl nagy választék.

Questo hotel ha rappresentato l’esperienza peggiore della mia storia di viaggiatrice, nonostante io abbia vissuto in contesti disparati in tutto il mondo, inclusi tre mesi in Africa. Al mio arrivo (ore 21:00), la camera assegnata nella struttura principale era fatiscente, maleodorante e situata in un sottotetto raggiungibile solo tramite scale minuscole e pericolose. Nessun dettaglio — arredi, dimensioni o condizioni igieniche — corrispondeva alle foto presenti sulla vostra piattaforma. A fronte delle mie rimostranze, sono stata spostata in una "struttura gemella" di fronte. Anche in questo caso: - La prima stanza mostrata era povera e puzzolente. La seconda (e ultima disponibile), una camera familiare, era un altro sottotetto pervaso da cattivi odori. Durante un temporale notturno, la scarsa tenuta degli infissi ha fatto sì che sembrasse piovere all'interno della stanza. Inoltre, a causa di finestre fatiscenti che non garantivano alcun isolamento, dalle ore 01:00 alle 04:00 del mattino siamo stati costretti a subire i rumori dei vicini del piano di sotto (schiamazzi sessuali e contenuti video ad alto volume), rendendo impossibile il riposo. Un vero incubo, mai successo nulla di simile in precedenza. Personale scortese, poco professionale e impreparato. Sconsigliatissimo, nonostante la posizione sia oggettivamente comoda.

• Thu Ha (10/5): Highly recommend this Hotel especially for people who are travelling to Hanoi for the first time, you will love it 😊 - The hotel location was great, you can walk to all the surrounding extractions areas and shopping st in the old quarter. The room was spacious (which is uncommon in the Old quarter for the price ) and clean. The staffs were lovely and very helpful they even gave me the upgrade to a better room without requests or paying extra. I was staying at the hotel for 3 nights and got a free taxi pickup from the airport and rebooked for another night when I returned to Hanoi for my flight home the next day. They also gave me the discount for taxi to the airport as well. Not things 😂

• Skander (8/5): Fabuleux - + Emplacement (au centre du vieux quartier). + Petit déjeuner à la française (omelette, beurre, confiture, pain, café, lait concentré, fruits locaux, …). + Belle salle de bain. + Nous sommes arrivés à 7h du matin et on nous a donné une chambre pour nous doucher et nous reposer moyennant un paiement. + Professionnalisme et gentillesse du personnel. + L’hôtel s’est occupé de notre transfert vers l’aéroport moyennant un paiement (28 km) + La réception nous a donné de bons plans de visite et des activités à faire à partir de Hanoï - Chambre (une petite fenêtre donnant sur une petite cour intérieure). Peu important, car on passe toutes les journées à l’extérieur.

The room was very clean and beautifully presented. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again 😊 There is a bit of road noise but this is unavoidable in the old town, and the street the hotel is on is one of the quieter ones which is great 😊

• Uwe (10/5): - Zentrale Lage, alles in der Altstadt fußläufig zu erreichen, trotzdem ruhig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, tägliche Reinigung. Das Frühstück ist gut, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Manager hat uns eine Tour nach Halong und die Weiterfahrt nach Ninh Binh organisiert, nicht teurer als woanders. Das Bett war ziemlich hart, aber wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen.

• Daniel (1/5): Room scam - beware - Once we eventually was given our original room, this was clean and comfortable. We arrived at the hotel with the receptionist (who requested our check in time hours before we arrived, which we confirmed) saying that he had lost our reservation. Due to this, he stated we will be staying in their sister hotel (Lucky 3 Hotel) where we would have an upgraded room, big windows, bigger space. Upon arrival at the new room, this was the complete opposite to what he had advised. Room was dirty, particularly the bathroom, the big windows faced out into the internal stairway and the size of the room was tiny. We told the receptionist how upset we were and he offered no apology but instead said we could come back to his hotel the following day. After researching about this hotel, the room we were given was a 2-star room therefore we effectively have paid well over the amount for a standard 2-star room. Not entirely sure how you can lose the reservation when it was confirmed hours beforehand. Potential scam - beware. We have contacted bookings.com and so far have been disappointed by their lack of support.

• Filippa Pausgaard (5/5): - Beliggenheden var vildt god når man gerne vil ud og opleve The Old Quarter men samtidig var der ingen larm selvom det lå ret centralt. Rengøringen var ikke optimal. Der var generelt ridser og gamle mærker overalt på toilettet, væggene og gulvet. Vi fandt hår og pletter på sengetøjet og derudover kunne toilettet ofte ikke trække ud. Bruseren dryppede også hele tiden. Værelset levede slet ikke op til billederne og vi havde udsigt til en gyde hvor der var et vindue med tremmer foran (det lignede et fængsel). Derudover var bestyreren virkelig mærkelig overfor os. Vi var to 20-årige piger der rejste alene hvilket har været helt fint i resten af Vietnam. Men hver gang vi gik forbi receptionen begyndte han at snakke til os, ville vide hvor vi skulle hen og kaldte os "beautiful girls". Han gav os lov til at få sen udtjekning pga- et sent fly den dag vi skulle rejse men med grunden at det var fordi vi var "beautiful", hvilket vi synes var vildt upassende og også lidt utrygt når nu vi skulle overnatte der.

Das Familienzimmer war deutlich kleiner als angegeben. Allerdings ist das nicht das erste Hotel, bei dem uns das aufgefallen ist. Vielleicht werden hier andere Maßstandards verwendet als in Europa.

Everything in the Old Quarters (including Hosn Kiem lake, the water puppet theatre , St.Joseph's Cathedral and the night market) was within a 10 minute walk. Plus fabulous food and shopping right outside the hotel. The staff was super friendly, polite and helpful. A special thanks to the manager Louis who was in touch with me right from when I booked the rooms till we left!
