- 892asunp (4/5): Experiencia decepcionante para visitantes con tatuajes - No recomiendo este hotel si tienes tatuajes. A pesar de ser una cadena que recibe a turistas de todo el mundo, tienen una política extremadamente rígida y nada flexible. Solo permiten el uso del baño público si cubres tus tatuajes con un máximo de dos parches, algo imposible si tienes varios. La actitud del personal de tarde fue muy cerrada y poco hospitalaria, tratando una diferencia cultural como si fuera un problema de conducta. Es una pena que en pleno 2026 sigan con estas prohibiciones que no se adaptan al turismo internacional. No volveré a elegir esta cadena. Title: Not recommended for tattooed travelers - Inflexible and outdated "I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you have tattoos. Despite being a major chain catering to international tourists, their policy is extremely rigid and outdated. They only allow access to the public bath if you can cover your tattoos with a maximum of two patches. If you have more, they simply deny you access with zero flexibility or hospitality. The staff's attitude regarding this was quite disappointing. As a foreign tourist, this feels like a lack of respect for other cultures. I will not be staying at any APA Hotel again.
- William (10/5): - Very convenient area close to the subway. Staff were super customer service and went over and above what i would expect. I left my laptop in a cab and staff helped me phone the police department to confirm that the in fact had it before I made my way down to pick it up. All this was in japanese as english is my first language.
- Lee (6/5): Ok but not worth it - Near the subway but far from both dotonbori and Umeda so had to rely on it. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Spa is ok but tiny The room was the smallest I’ve ever been in and I paid the most for the entire trip. Totally not worth it

However, the room that we were set up in smelt horribly of cigarette smoke, and the only way we could get rid of it was by running the air conditioning for a very long time. Overall, the building was very nice, but our room, I don’t know about other rooms. But our room was not nice.

- Paul (10/5): Convenient and comfy stay - Booked this lodging pretty late, but enjoyed staying at this chain. The location was surprisingly convenient as it was really close to the metro entrance. The area was relatively quiet, but really accessible to the touristy areas of the city. Comfy rooms overall. A nice stay that is easy to travel from.

This hotel is near restaurants and convenience stores and the Tokyo metro is connected to the hotel so it’s easy to get around. The ramen place across the road is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to stay at when visiting Osaka.

- M (10/5): - close to all kinds of transportation: taxis, trains subways, shinkansen. close to all the major Osaka attractions. Castle, temples, Dotonbori, Umeda Tower, temples, etc. can't get bored even when it's raining and very affordable. Maybe not for kids. I was solo. Close to many tours around Kansai area. Great for day trips even to Kyoto, Himeji, Kobe, Kanazawa, Nara using APA as a home base. Even has a sento.

The room I was in was quite smaller than what I imagine but it was good for just one person. Overall a reasonable stay. P.S. the check in is quite slow as you have to check in with the computer.

- Pei Ji (10/5): - The room I had was small but comfortable. A small window with a nice view of the river too. There’s also the Japanese bidet. They also provide a yutaka if you want to visit the public bath A quiet area with not many shops around. You do have 2 convenience shops, 1 drugstore and 1 24hr Japanese eatery chain just a few steps away. There are other options too. Higobashi Station entrance is under the hotel so you’re only a few stops from Namba Station. Nothing much to complain about to be honest and considering the price it’s more comfortable than capsule hotels and better security too. Check in and out was easy and simple. Will certainly come back
- Jacob (6/5): - The hotel and staff are great in a great location. The room was too small for two persons unless for one or two nights. Do not miss the rooftop restaurant! Amazing views and food.
- Neal (2/5): - Osaka is wonderful but this hotel was not. Found a used bandaid in our hotel room (not ours) and the room was dusty. Layout was also not optimal for the tiny space it provided. The worst part was the laundry facility. Their combo washer dryers DO NOT dry and the 4 units they have is not enough for the hotel’s population. Folks were waiting HOURS into the night to return to their rooms with sopping wet clothes despite dropping hundreds of yen on extra dry cycles (I ran 6!). The front desk’s solution was to “use more machines” which would screw over more people down the road. No thank you and won’t be coming back

- Keyana (8/5): - Our stay was good. It was in a great location with close access to some of the different subway lines and only a 15 minute walk from JR Osaka Station as well. Close to different cafes and restaurants to try as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that wasn't great was the laundry machines. They took so long to dry anything where I eventually gave up and hung things up in my room instead of paying more yen for the dryer that was doing nothing.

In the morning the staff clean up the rooms so the hallway doors of the rooms are opened and it’s a mess on the floors all over… dirty carpet, dirty towels, it’s gross…. Also when you arrive before 3 pm , can’t check in before that , you are told to leave and come back…. At least have chairs to sit down or offer the clients to sit in the restaurant. For 200$ US dollars a night I’m not impressed!

- Cody (10/5): - Solo traveller with a large checked luggage. I found the room a little tight but it was mostly a place to sleep. Being above Higobashi station makes it easy to reach both Osaka station (airport express transit) and Namba station for Dotonbori. 9 minute walk to Yodoyabashi station to reach Shin-Osaka (shinkansen) is also fantastic. Amenities like towels, toothpaste, and disposable coffee cups were left in a bag on the door daily around cleaning time so I always had a fresh set, and the room was cleaned every 3 days by staff, or sooner on request. Check out was seamless. I would definitely stay here again

- Cesar (10/5): - Front desk concierge is bilingual, friendly, and made my check in very quick and easy. The hotel itself is very close to Higobashi Station, and if you are adventurous, you can walk to either Dotonbori, or Osaka Station, fairly quickly.. basically the hotel is in a great location!

The single room was just right for one person—compact but with enough space for everything I needed. It was clean and well-organized, perfect for a short stay. The staff was very helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions. Overall, a great choice for solo travelers looking for a well-located and comfortable place to stay!

The Spa is good and clean and location is accessible to subway station which is just in front of it and walkable to Osaka main station 1.2 km away but mostly flat.

- Alaa (2/5): Extremely small beyond belief. - I booked this for me and my wife for our honeymoon, they didn’t even care to properly check-us in early and I had to stay in a very long line when I came back again after the check-in time. Horrible treatment by the staff that barely understands English. Also, do NOT book this if you’re claustrophobic, I was genuinely suffocating in the first night, me and my wife barely fit the bed size (She’s slim and I am not), I have been to small and tight hotels in Tokyo but this is even smaller than anything. There was absolutely no space for our luggage, it stayed unopened in the hallway, that isn’t even a hallway. The only good thing is that it’s near a metro station and it’s not even a good station, you’ll have to keep taking other metros to get where you wanna go, so it’s not really as convenient as you might think. Ultimately, it’s inhumane to allow oneself to stay in such place even if your plans is to find a place just to sleep in. Sleeping in metro stations would almost seem as an equal alternative.

- ROSARIO (10/5): - Good location, with a drug store crossing the street, 7/11 and various restaurants around. Metro station right in front of the doors of the hotel. The rooms very clean and the bathtub bigger than the Apas from Tokyo.. nice room but tiny so please keep in mind that, I was with 3 large suitcases and 2 smalls ones and it was a bit cramped but nothing to complaint about, if you are organize and keep everything tidy it will not be a problem. The staff very friendly and some spoke really good English!

- Gert (8/5): Great hotel at affordable price and great location - There were hardly any space between the desk and the bed, which made using the chair and the desk uncomfortable, and not really doable. Otherwise the room held the general APA hotells standard. Great simple rooms at a resonable price. They have everything one needs. I think the location is great. Going places couldn't be more convenient with a tube entrance just outside the hotell. Namba and other destinations reachable within 30 min. I wasn't able to use the bath because of a wound, but I would have appreciated the bath otherwise. It's just great. I noticed that noice isolation is quite poor (isolation from traffic and such), so maybe consider the higher floors.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Could be better - Overall a good stay with easy to access train station directly in front of hotel entrance. Biggest issue was the very badly orientation of the furniture was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. Due to fear of damaging furniture I was unable to move anything and had to deal with the poorly designed room.

APA just not going to help nor showed any concern.

- Ezekiel (8/5): - Stayed for one night before my flight back home and it was comfortable. Close to the station and there's a FamilyMart a minute down the road. One bedroom rooms are tiny but cozy. Though, the elevators could get annoying if you're on the upper floors even with four of them, but great hotel overall!

Bath amenities are complete with everything we need including toothbrush, comb, you name it…Basically, the guest doesn’t need to bring any bath amenities. The bathroom is a bit small. Be careful of the step at the entrance. I almost tripped getting into the bathroom. The overall experience is good.

- Bob (2/5): - The property is crammed and tiny. Understaffed and overworked. The room temperature is preset. With the heat turned on and not able to adjust the thermostat, we had very uncomfortable and heated room that was dry and stuffy. The room is dated and poorly maintained, no house keeping during the two nights we stayed there.
