L'appartement est idéalement localisé, nous avons pu nous déplacer à pied toute la semaine sans problème. Les hôtes sont très gentils et professionnels ! Nous reviendrons ! • Ieva (8/5): - Perfect location,so close to train station,so first thing after arrival we could drop our bags and enjoy the city. Huge private balcony. It says apartment,so we imagined the entrance would be from hallway.The apartment we rented is accessed through the kitchen that can be used by all guest,it is also used for checking in guests and storing their luggage.However nobody ever used it throughout our stay,so it felt private.

Hosts are so responsive and helpful. Only negative was the walk up the stairs and the early church bells each morning but aside from that it was perfect.

The location is excellent — right in the center, so everything is within walking distance. Johnny is a very kind and responsive person, always ready to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again!

• Karen (10/5): Amazing staff and amazing accommodations. - It was spacious and we loved the kitchen. The balcony is amazing as well. The price. I am assuming this has to do with the exchange rate. It was close to 500 dollars per night. Which is very expensive.
• YoungCheol (8/5): - Great location with less than 10min walking from Amsterdam Centraal station. Most major tourism places and tram stops are also quite close. I really enjoyed the trip with the property at the center of the old small town, Amsterdam. I would like to emphasize however that the property is a guest house, not a hotel. No hotel like services with reception/concierge are available. It is mixture of air b&b and hotel. It has kitchen, laundry, towel replacement everyday, room/bed cleaning everyday. Downsides may include the narrow and steep stairway without elevator to the 3rd floor(actually 4th), old style keys and old style bedroom, low height old beds without boxspring, old building, etc. I would like to praise the owner's prompt responses through text message and great communication service. He also allowed us flexible check-in and check-out time. Overall, I would recommend the guest house to the tourists who understand the service concept of guest houses.

• Jason (10/5): Nice apartment in the middle of the City. - We stayed 3 nights with our 10 yr old. We really enjoyed our stay. There are not a lot of recent reviews for this location and some things seem to have been updated. 1) This is an apartment and not a hotel. It has a kitchen and washer/dryer available for use (both of which were very helpful). There is a 2nd bedroom that is locked off and used by the owner's adult son during the day. However, we only saw him once and this was not an issue for us as our bedroom and private bathroom had a lock for privacy. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the stairs are steep and narrow. At check in the host (Goran) did help us with our big bag but be aware that there is no elevator and you'll have to be able to get bags up/down. 2) Location was great and central. But be aware that it is 1 street over from the Red Light district and the entrance is 2 doors down from a strip club. We had to walk by numerous sex shops to get there from the train station. That part wasn't ideal, but we figured out a way around it. 3) Noise. We were a little worried that it might be too noisy given the location and the review regarding the church bell chimes. We didn't find the noise to be an issue. We enjoyed the church chimes, which ended around 10/11 p.m. There was some noise from the a pub/bar nearby each night but it died off around 10/10:30 pm and was not an issue with the windows closed. 4) Rooftop patio. This was a real highlight for us and we enjoyed having it. Overall, I highly recommend the place.

• Jeffrey (9/5): Great central location - We loved the location in the center of town but it was close to a couple of hostels and got a little loud a couple of times but not bad. We loved the outside deck and spent time outside having coffee in the mornings and wine in the evening. It was very close to everything which was very important to us. There was no elevator and the staircase was narrow but we didn’t mind that much.

This was very helpful for my short stay. location absolutely perfect in city center walking distance to most scenic spots With the front door on the first floor it feels safer, even though the neighborhood is already generally safe. The large balcony was an exceptional experience a bit hot at first as there was no air conditioner (only ventilators), good thing was that I was only indoor for a few hours and spent most of my time in the city so it was good. not hot at night with the ventilator so it was ok.

The host was very kind and helpful. The beds have very comfortable linens. Overall it was more than we hoped. Beware of the stairs! Pack lightly. • Karen (10/5): First time stay in Amsterdam - Kuwadro is on a very lively street in the heart of Amsterdam's Red Light district. The B&B was spotless and modern. Our sleeping area/living space was spacious, even with the sofa bed open. One of the nicest features is a large terrace off the living area with great views. The kitchen was well-equipped with a stove, fridge and dishwasher. A stacked washer and dryer were also part of the kitchen. This space is shared with one other unit where the assistant sometimes stays. However, she left each evening after setting up food for the next day's breakfast and was not intrusive at all. There was always plenty of food and beverages for us. When we arrived, the assistant checked us in, and she was extremely helpful taking our luggage upstairs. If you have limited mobility, this place will not work for you. It's a typical Dutch building with steep, narrow stairs. Kuwadro is on the 4th floor (American) with no elevator. The entry and stairway are dark and give the misperception that it's not a nice place to stay. But once you enter the B&B, you'll see it's a great space. My sister and I are women in our 60s, but we were able to negotiate the stairs and we loved our apartment. What wasn't a good fit was the neighborhood, which was targeted toward young people who wanted to party. It would be nice to see the other Kuwadro unit in the Jordaan neighborhood. The B&B owners were great about communicating via WhatsApp. I even got instructions while on the train from Paris. Great stay!
• Tina (10/5): Rent og pænt med central beliggenhed - Ligger super centralt med 10 min gang til hovedbanegården, så meget nemt at tage toget fra lufthavnen. 5 min til gågaden og med Red Light lige i baghaven. Meget serviceminded vært. Vi havde køkkenet for os selv, så det var nærmest en lejlighed med dejligt fyldt køleskab hele tiden, og også mulighed for selv at lave mad hvis man skulle få lyst.
• L&D (10/5): - Wunderschönes Apartment, mit netten Gastgebern. Inzwischen gibt es ein eigenes Badezimmer, nur die Küche wird mit einem anderen Zimmer geteilt, was aber durch die Aufteilung der Wohnung sehr angenehm ist. Hammer Lage und sehr große, private Dachterasse!

Men att bo högt gör att det är tyst vilket är bra eftersom området är lite stökigt. Det hade varit ännubättre om det funnits två täcken i dubbelsäng. Frukost fixar man själv , vilket känns skönt. Saknade Youghert sista dagen. Men vi trivdes jättebra och kundesitta ute och fika på den stora terassen. Tack!!!

Leider wurde das Zimmer nur mit Gemeinschaftsbad ausgewiesen, man musste sich aber auch die Küche teilen, wo nur zwei Personen essen können, so müsste man also in Schichten frühstücken oder man hätte nie seine Ruhe. Im Zimmer selbst steht kein Schrank, so das man die ganze Zeit aus dem Koffer leben musste. Wer aber auf etwas Comfort verzichten kann und direkt im Stadtkern leben möchte, der ist hier gut aufgehoben.

• Donna (8/5): Great Red Light Location. - I found the hotel to be very accommodating and comfortable. Those who books should be aware of the shared bathroom which is clearly noted in the listing. It is nice that the bathroom is broken into two rooms - one for the toilet and one for the shower that make it easier to share. Additionally, there are two long flights of Dutch stairs which can be difficult to navigate with luggage but are fine otherwise. Johnny and Goran are very helpful and responsive to questions. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the full kitchen and coffee maker. Internet was available and reliable. Although the room is on a very busy street, the noise is almost completely blocked when the windows are closed and sleeping is no problem. There is also a fan in the room which is really nice.
