- Connector31764703154 (8/5): Highs and lows- sort out your reception staff! - Booked two rooms for two night stay. Highs and lows. Highs- rooms nice, comfortable and great showers. Really lively bar area with super cocktail making at 505pm. Inclusive breakfast nice choices and plentiful. Lows- check in staff lacked competence. They ignored queues and just served rude people who walked up. Also some guests offered drinks and others not, lacked explanation of why credit card amount being held was an odd amount £488? She simply said I’m not sure why it’s that? Really how odd. She was also difficult to understand, we had two room types and she mixed them up. Final odd thing was that at various points in the stay both rooms received phone calls from reception asking for someone else. One a mistake fine but the other woke my daughter up at 730am - unacceptable and careless - sort out reception then would be a much better offering!

When you are checking it’s important information and it’s so difficult asking the receptionist to repeat themselves. I got the gist that we had a free welcome drink somewhere in the hotel but after asking three times to repeat I gave up so never got my welcome drink 😂 The hotel room was extremely quiet which in London is unheard of. No sirens or traffic to be heard at all !!! My one complaint only a very small one maybe more of an observation is no biscuits in the room. I know the lesser hotels have stopped giving a free biscuit but a £500 a night room surely they can afford to give me a shortbread to go with my tea ☕️

- Michelle (7/5): Overpriced given the service - Great location for getting around London and also for arriving I. London into Kings Cross station. The Booking Office bar was a particular highlight. Our experience of the staff wasn’t great. Not friendly at all really and, when we checked out, we weren’t even asked how our stay was. A small thing maybe but, when paying almost £700 for two night stay for what is meant to be a 5 star experience, these things count. In our second day, the say our room had been serviced, the tea and coffee station in the room was left unreplenished and the mugs not cleaned. We called room service and explained. Someone visited the room and we had to repeat the issue to him again. He disappeared, came back with tea, coffee and milk, but no clean cups and we had to offer to clean them ourselves in our bathroom sink which he accepted instead of coming back with clean ones. Again, one could argue this is a small issue, but it’s classed as a 5 star hotel and this attention to detail and response to issues raised are the things that matter.

The view (brick wall) wasn't up to much but we were warned about that by the receptionist. The TV didn't work and the shower head was pointing at the ceiling and took considerable effort to get it to point at the shower and me.

Had to ask twice to actually get it done. Leaving the hotel the door person was snippy and unpleasant. The in room toiletries smell amazing. However, they are not fixed to the wall and the tops unscrew. Previous guests could have done anything to these products. This is simply not good enough. Three small issues but I don’t pay $400+ dollars a night for this kind of experience. There are plenty of amazing hotels in London at this price point. I’ll explore more of them I think.

- melbH7103AQ (2/5): Fungal infection St Pancras hotel - Checked in Saint Pancras Hotel at 10 pm on the 23rd of April left at 5 am the following day after a six hour stay I was with a fungal infection starting in my head moving to my body. I’m now nine days into treatment with no sign of improvement. My colleague stayed in a separate room and in the morning said that the towels smelt of chemicals I’m sure this means that they are trying to treat some form of infestation in the rooms by the evening of that day I started to come out in a rash. Do not stay in this hotel. I’m now left with at least a month treatment. This is a genuine review Butler

Staff couldnt do enough Spa gorgeous and met all our needs We arent super rich so we could afford the rooms at £400 a night. We were so disappointed by these, similar styling to Premier Inn or best western so we feel completely cheated. We have stayed at a few 5 stars and the rooms at least fit with the architecture of the hotel. Food was fabulous

Not the 5-star experience we were hoping for. Most irksome was, that the pool had ‘limited hours’ for children (at times when you want to be out and exploring the city) which is not mentioned on their website.

- D323TSroseb (6/5): Junior Suite is a joke and not worth the price- watch out for mice too - This is an incredibly convenient location if you are taking the Eurostar from St. Pancras, otherwise the location is fine, nothing special. I stayed at this hotel twice within 10 days in early April and while customer service upon arrival and check-in was excellent both times, the experiences overall were different and I would not go back to this hotel. The first stay I was given a room in the Barlow wing. It is important to note that rooms on the even side of the hallway, up to the 4th floor, will have a brick wall or roof view of the train station. The beds were comfortable enough. There was a mouse in the Hansom lounge area next to the check-in desks. When I alerted the server that I'd seen a mouse cruising the floor of the restaurant area, she acknowledged that mice is a known issue for the hotel and they are doing what they can to mitigate the pests but that they come up regularly. Ummmm, ok. Doesn't seem hygenic, but whatever. My issue with this hotel is from our second stay. The room we were assigned did not have a functioning toilet, it didn't fully flush. When I asked to be assigned a different room I was offered an "upgrade" to a jr. suite for a reduced rate, in the original building. I said yes and regretted it almost immediately. It was on the first floor of that building and had a view of the train platforms, which had announcements running throughout the evening and again in the morning, very early. The windows were not sound proof so the noise from the trains was an issue as well. The room was smaller than the one we had originally been assigned and felt shabby. Buyer beware and shame on me for thinking the jr. suite would be worth any amount of money to accept. We were offered a rollaway bed, which was never delivered and the phone rang intermittently the first hour we were in the room, however whenever we answered it, there was no one on the line. When I tried to call down to the front desk, the phone just rang and rang and was never answered. This is a convenient location for connecting travel via Eurostar or St. Pancras/Kings Cross/Euston stations but not much else.

- danielpZ7000CW (10/5): Beautiful place, comfy sleep, great service and delicious house gin! - This was our first stay at a Marriott hotel; we had come to London from Spain to visit some family and wanted to treat ourselves on our last night. I just wanted to say that, beyond the fact that the hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff is lovely, and their house gin was delicious, I wanted to highlight the service provided by Irene Rincon. From the very beginning, my communication with her via email was sublime: courteous and professional while also managing to be close. She was also lovely and stayed a bit longer after her shift had finished so she could meet us and guide us through check-in. She made sure all our requests and needs were met during our day and night at the hotel, while also taking the time to pop over for a goodbye chat while we were waiting for our train in their Lobby bar, where she hoped our stay was good and wished us all the best on our travels. Although my partner and I both speak English, it was also lovely to speak with Irene in Spanish, making the hotel feel a tiny bit like home as well. Might I suggest the hotel have single-use or hotel-branded swimwear (to be purchased so absent-minded people, like ourselves, who don't bring along the correct attire, can still go) for the spa?

- Melissa (2/5): Terrible value for money, it feels like a 5* hotel in decline - Location was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable (although small). They allow dogs - this was the biggest bonus and best point of the hotel. Staff were all lovely and polite except a curly haired girl at breakfast who looked and sounded miserable and got our order wrong repeatedly. I requested a duvet replacement be brought to the room around 8pm, as we accidentally spilled some food on it, which I apologised and offered to pay for. They didn’t charge, but It didn’t come until about 11:30pm and I had to keep asking for it several times repeatedly. The spa had such a strong smell of chlorine that it stung our eyes and throats, and we had to leave after 5 mins. It really affected my pregnant friend, which was a huge shame because I booked it for my birthday. Then I found out that the smell of chlorine is actually from the chlorine reacting with dirt and waste materials. Another huge issue was that I sent my trousers off to be laundered at about 12:30pm, I selected the express service, which guaranteed a 10am return, however the staff didn’t submit this properly and my trousers were just left somewhere. I was checking out the next day, hence why I needed them at 10am. I asked about them in the morning and it turned out that they had not even been sent to laundry and that they wouldn’t come back until potentially the next day. I had to explain I was checking out and needed them that day. In the end I had to change my train to a later time (huge inconvenience) so that I could collect my trousers. They were ready later around 2-3pm. Jack Lai who helped me with this was really great. Except it really was a terrible experience overall and they still charged me for the laundry service. Not what you would expect when you pay £667 for a room for one night. I would suggest that people take their money and spend it elsewhere.

- Jeff Harvey (10/5): Ideal location to connect to Eurostar - We stayed here for one night after our transatlantic flight (and taxi ride from LHR) to connect with the Eurostar to Paris the next day. So the location literally attached to the St Pancras train station is ideal. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bar was lovely and was thankfully open late enough that we could have some drinks and bar food for supper after our very late arrival. Don't worry about the trains being noisy, they're electric and nearly silent. Nice hotel, very classy. No issues. There was no view out our 7th floor room window except of the adjacent St Pancras train station roof (which is fine for one night).

Customer service is the best with friendly staff who go out of their way to make your visit memorable. Many different types of rooms to choose from and ample breakfast. There are two restaurants to choose from whatever the occasion.

We stayed here for a night before taking the train to Paris. Really polite and courteous staff and beautiful property. Makes you feel you are part of something historical. Just walk right down to the end upstairs. The hotel itself is very inviting and clean and friendly. The staff were lovely and were very helpful in the main. Beautiful reception/bar area - lots of light and space. Our room was in Barlow House and was a deluxe King room so we did have plenty of space. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Our view was of the British Library so not bad at all. We did enjoy our 2 night break. I raised a small problem on checking out and it was completely ignored. Receptionist couldn't even apologise for it. I expected more to be honest. I would also like a kettle in the room for making tea. Coffee machines don't really make tea. The water comes through the same spot as the coffee so you always get remains of the last coffee in the water. Not the fault of the hotel, it's the machine but a kettle would solve this. Not sure if you would have provided one if I asked.

- LeasaN4 (10/5): Beautiful, historical, great location, fantastic service - I wanted to share the FABULOUS experience we had at the St Pancras this past week. This hotel is beautiful and historic- and if you’re a fan of Harry Potter or the Spice Girls, you’ve already seen parts of the property in movies and videos. Our rooms were updated but in a style that was very consistent with the overall style and vibe of the historic aspects of the hotel. The staff was incredible, with a special mention for Filippo at the concierge desk. He was so friendly and helpful and provided us with excellent recommendations and advice. Every single staff member was friendly and professional, and truly embodied the hospitality we expected from a hotel of this caliber. The location was super convenient- literally adjacent to St Pancras and Kings Cross stations. We were able to get all of the city via tube and outside the city via train from these stations, which were literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel front entrance. It’s also walking distance to Coal Drops Yards and other lovely dining options. There’s no Elite lounge, but we had a nice breakfast each day and the hotel had two fun little celebrations daily at 5:05 PM and 7:35 PM that involved a little bit of hotel history AND a free cocktail. Summary- our family of 5 really enjoyed our experience at the Autograph St Pancras and highly recommend the property to those planning visits to London!

- Colin (9/5): A luxurious London stopover with great access to Eurostar service. - Restored architecture. Good food. The Booking Office was a lovely location for breakfast and lunch. Champagne welcome. Being very picky, the doors to the kitchens were left open while being painted. I'm sure it was only a temporary issue.
