• Jonah (9/5): one of my preferred hotels in financial district. - I like staying here because it is convenient and the rooms are relatively large for NYC. The gym is fantastic and there is laundry in place. the downstairs restaurant is called Antica. It is delicious. The staff at the hotel are friendly, especially for nyc. The elevator is comically slow. I usually try and stay on as low a floor as possible.

• Chris (8/5): Great location. Price reasonable for NYC. Payment issues caused stress which should be looked into. - Great location and good views from my higher floor room (floor 38). Friendly and helpful staff! I had a major problem with the hotel taking payment from my UK debit card. They said the payment didn't go through, so I checked in with my bank (NatWest) who confirmed that the hotel weren't processing the payment properly (they weren't submitting my 3 digit security code on the back of the card). I tried to tell the hotel this over the phone, but they didn't seem to get it, and kept telling me my payment was declined - very stressful. I was already in New York for a business trip so I went down to the hotel to make payment in person (which worked OK first time on their card reader). I'm concerned that the reservation would have been cancelled if I hadn't been able to do this. The hotel need to update their online/telephone payment system to work in this way - It's pretty standard stuff. Or they should just enable Google/Apple Pay as a payment method on here. That would save this sort of unnecessary hassle! However, once I came to the hotel in person, everything went smoothly and the staff were great for the duration of my stay :)

Habitación tirando a pequeña, aire acondicionado no conectado al termostato, por lo qie no estaba automatizado y falta de ascensores para un hotel de 44 pisos. En ciertas horas del día era complicado que parara en tu piso (28 en mi caso). Recepción en el piso 2, lo cual era algo extraño

Habitaciones limpias, hicieron el aseo todos los días y no habían ruidos molestos Los ascensores son un poco lentos, no lo considero como algo malo, pero si a considerar para salir con tiempo. • Alana (8/5): Overall great value for money and friendly staff - Reception and door staff were really friendly, check-in was straightforward and the receptionist went out of her way to assign 2 rooms on the same floor for us and gave us a bunch of cookies which were a nice sugar rush after a long day travelling. Rooms and facilities were kept clean throughout the stay and the 24hr shop at reception was really handy for supplies. Location is great if you want central Manhattan, but maybe not the craziness of staying up around Times Square. Subway stops are really nearby, as are 9/11 Museum and Ellis/Liberty ferries. Be prepared to wait for the lifts/elevators and potentially have to miss one from it being crowded when it does show up. Decor is a bit meh, but given the lower cost by NY standards, it's definitely something easy to live with!

The elevator takes absolute ages to come! Had to leave 15 minutes before I needed to just so I could make it out of the building in time to get to work. There were also tour busses of tourists arriving when I went to check in which made the whole check in process very complicated and stressful.
