Mohammad (4/5): - We stayed at this hotel twice within a two-week period. On the first occasion, we stayed for four days, and on the second, we stayed for two days. Unfortunately, both times, the Air conditioner was not functioning, and the reception attempted to charge us $10 for a room key that we had inadvertently lost. While the hotel’s location is pleasant, it falls short of meeting our expectations as a satisfactory hotel.

The daily breakfast options at the hotel were good! Staff are helpful and super friendly and ready to make arrangements for airport transfers, guides, etc.

Above and beyond is really appreciated when kids are involved. The hospitality is unmatched ! Thank you for an amazing time!

He was also very knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations. One note we have is to improve the hotel breakfast coffee, which currently appears to be instant coffee.

Also, there’s a staff at the ground floor that took us to a few shops when we needed to buy adapter for the socket. - The Hotel provided us with sumptuous breakfast throughout our stay. - The hotel is central and closer to historical places. - The room didn’t have adapter and the hotel didn’t provide it - we had to buy one with our money. Also, we were never not informed that the drinks in the fridge were at a price until when we checked out in the morning.

Olga (2/5): - The unique was that when you arrive and want to check in staff said that my room is under construction and offered to check in in a different less expensive hotel a few minutes from this one. After I said, I won't do anywhere, I was given a room in this hotel. They were offering to check in to a different hotel to other people while I was waiting when they will give me a room in this hotel. After long international flight and booking a room two months in advance, it was very unique to find out at check in that I need to go to a different hotel and my room in this hotel is under construction. Expedia should do something about it.

I asked on three separate occasions if my room could be changed.additionally the occupants were arguing and talking at a late hour till 2am. I did not get a single nights good sleep The request for a room change was declined despite the website showing rooms were available. I was given a room directly opposite the lift as well. Not a good position in the entire hotel.

Someone had gone through all of our bags and placed things back in a different bags than they were originally in. When this was raised with the staff they were incredibly rude and dismissive about it. Absolutely do not recommend this hotel to any one.

The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants in the area, a supermarket opposite the hotel and the metro a two minute walk away. A special shout out to Abdulrahman and Yunus at reception who both made our stay memorable. They were extremely professional and gave great tips about things to do in Istanbul. Will definitely be coming back to this hotel during our next stay in Istanbul.

Fuad (6/5): Room with no privacy - The room which they call the economy room has no privacy. It faces inward into the hotel corridors. If your curtains are open, other guests can see right into your room when walking by. You have to keep your curtains closed if you want any privacy. P.S. curtains are a bit small for total privacy. I guess the room is ok if you are a bit of an exhibitionist. They can fix this issue, but I guess a guests privacy is at the bottom of the list.

Romana Zia (10/5): - We booked 2 rooms 1 for us and 1 for our children. We had an absolutely amazing stay! The rooms were large clean and had balconies. The service was very good and the location of this hotel could not get better! Don’t think just book!
Sharaaz (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is a couple of minutes work from the Metro which is perfect. The breakfast they served was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and always greeted me with a smile. I stayed for 7 nights and not a single issue with anyone! The hotel even did my laundry at a reasonable price. 50tl per kilo i believe. Theres a really nice cafe of the same street T CAFE which is perfect for breakfast. Also a unique pakistani place called bombay serving indian/pakistani food which is hard to come by in Istanbul. I never tried it Hagia sophia, sultan ahmed et.. are not far from this hotel. I will be booking this place again for sure. Cant wait to go back

Nizar (10/5): Very convenient hotel, highly recommended - Very clean and near hotel, location is perfect, walking distance from Train T1 that can take u to a lot of places. Walking distance from Grand Bazar, the staff are very friendly and helpful and flexible when it can be done. Price is very affordable and you get what u pay for. Highly recommended

The hotel is about two blocks from major sightseeing places and grand bazar, rooms were comfy, breakfast was very good. no complains, we truly enjoyed our stay here.
Mohammed (8/5): - Very clean property, location with walking distance of the main tourist attraction Haiga Sophia/Grand Bazaar. Staff are very friendly at the hotel, will definitely stay there again if I visit Istanbul, loads of food places nearly, good transport link.

Forced us to pay extra for a mistake from Expedia side. They ruined our experience for no reason. Very unprofessional and lack of customer service.

Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel near Blue Mosque - Golden Royal Cemberlitas was a wonderful hotel for our trip to Istanbul. The front desk staff was friendly and graciously allowed us to check-in early after a long flight and provided helpful tips on navigating to specific sites we wanted to visit. The room was clean, bathroom was spacious, and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and offered many options. The hotel is in a very convenient location around 5-10 minutes walking to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and nearest tram. We'll definitely consider booking this hotel again.
