Great location.
- Roni (6/5): - Close to shops Not very clean, not modern, and too many stairs

- Jackie (8/5): Stayed one 1 night for a match , friendly staff & clean room - Location No place to have breakfast
- David (8/5): Adequate bed for the night. - Convenient for my purposes. Very small room.
- Arnold (2/5): I wouldn't book this hotel again - I'm really struggling to answer this question The hotel was extremely run down. The carpets were covered in stains and the beds were so low you're practically on the floor. The photos do not represent the hotel accurately. The door to your room could easily be kicked in. I was also woken up at 8.15am to a hoover going on outside the room. I was extremely underwhelmed
- Craig (8/5): Nice pleasant stay. Very affordable and you get what you pay for. - The description from other reviews were dead on. Great water pressure in the shower, nice room for a place to just sleep. And the staff was friendly and accommodating. Could use updating but that didn’t matter to me
- Manuel (7/5): -
- Noah (9/5): -

- Fiona (7/5): -

- BryanHarkett (8/5): - Wonderful Staff: The service here is a standout; the team is incredibly lovely and helpful.
Convenient Location: It’s a very practical spot for supplies. You have a Tesco just up the road and a Sainsbury’s right across the street.
Great Value: Given the price point, it is a solid, budget-friendly choice for a quick stopover. Room Size & Sound: The rooms are quite tiny, and the walls are thin—be prepared to hear your neighbors.
Bed Comfort: The mattress was uncomfortable; however, a quick fix is to ask the staff for an extra blanket to sleep on top of for added cushioning.
- Áine (8/5): - Very accessible and easy to find. Room was clean, shower and bathroom spotless. Nice tea making facilities.Readonably priced and ideal for our one night stay to visit friends in the area. General areas very shabby. Room was very small which didn't matter as we were only staying one night.

- John (8/5): Lovely location and friendly staff - Location is great, lovely part of the city. Staff were very pleasant. Very good price and would stay here again. Great pub nearby for food and drink called "The Brave" Was a bit noisy at night (boy racer exhausts), which died down after midnight. Shower room was a bit cramped
- Torben (8/5): -
- Marion (1/5): Shocking - Dreadful hotel Everything, the place was filthy and the first room we were given the mattress was almost collapsed. Big dip in the muffle and springs almost coming through. Carpet every where was filthy
- Allaway (6/5): -
- J (10/5): Great location, value for money! - It was a great location, there were staff at the front desk 24/7. The room was clean and spacious. For the price you could ask for any better. We were pleasantly surprised!
- Kieran (8/5): - Generally fine, comfortable, private bathroom at reasonable price for the area No hairdryer in room or iron
- Diane (8/5): - All was good
- juris (7/5): Basic no frills would use again - No breakfast offered. Location fine for our purpose Bed too low Really bad for our backs Room bit small but we only used it to sleep in. Shower faulty 1 st day. Rectified by the time next needed

- Alan (7/5): -
- Malthe (9/5): - You get what you pay for mate. On top of that we got very kind and helpful staff. Very pleased. Thank you
- Kunal (10/5): -
- Alexander (8/5): Perfect place for resting when sightseeing all day - A place to stay if you’re spending most your trip sightseeing and needing a place to rest after! We watched Arsenal and were able to walk to the stadium and back within 30 minutes’ish Elevator was cool
- Grace (1/5): Wouldn't reccomend. - Shower was broken. Room was tiny, awful. Lobby's smelt. Carpets never been cleaned in their life. Wasn't nice. Tried to book elsewhere as soon as we'd checked in
- Charles (8/5): -
- Angela Guette (10/5): Convenient stay near the Emirates Stadium - We stayed here for one night to attend an Arsenal match at the Emirates. It’s within walking distance, and there are plenty of food options and bars nearby. We also walked to Angel from here. For a one-night stay the place is perfectly fine, and they even lent us a UK plug converter. Nothing really. We stayed in March and the room temperature was fine. I was a bit concerned it might be cold, but there was nothing to worry about.
- Fiona (8/5): Would stay there again - Clean bed, bedroom and bathroom; quiet as requested (it's on a main road but my room was at the back and I heard only the occasional siren); window openable for fresh air; 24hr security - overall this place was perfect for my needs on this trip It's an old and rather quirky building, which I'm taking into account, but other than the reception area, common areas are pretty run down, with marks to carpets so that they look dirty although they aren't. Didn't affect my stay as the room was fine
- Patrick J (8/5): Very relaxing - Very comfortable, nice shower No desk, maybe next time I'll request a bigger room
- Trivedi (7/5): -
- Jacqueline (7/5): A great budget « base » hotel. - Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. I was in a course in Islington so walkable. Handy budget stay. No restaurant or bar. Pub next door however, and shops. Essex Rd station 20 mn walk away or quick taxi ride.
- Mathias (8/5): - Super Lage
Coole Leute, alles sehr entspannt! Ich fand es cool.
- Celeste (6/5): Fair for the price, a bit old - Fair for the price, nothing much to add. Almost too expensive but considering the prices around London it's ok. The staff was lovely! The structure needs a bit of work to make it feel more well-kept, the building is very old. The floor was uneven, the carpets needed replacing. Although quiet at night, very easy to hear what's going on in the corridor. The lock felt a bit flimsy...
- Mrs L L (9/5): Well placed and modestly priced accommodation with adequate facilities - Quiet single room with view to secluded yard. TV seemed to have all Freeview channels. Shower compact but easily managed. Two sizeable towels, wooden clothes hangers and tea&coffee facilities = well equipped Tiny sink, easy to make splashes. No toiletries shelf. Carpet in room just OK but corridor carpet disgustingy stained
- Magdalena (8/5): :) - It was great value for money. I had much better room than I anticipated for that price. I felt safe and had good night sleep. The lobby area (especially window displays) could be slightly updated/refreshed. From the outside, the building seems deserted.
The only disadvantage of the room was the fact that the plumbing installation was very loud and I could hear when the people in the room above me were flashing water (I assume it has to do with the age of the building).
- Melanie (9/5): A well priced venue with pleasant staff ready to help - Friendly helpful staff in duty at all times.
Well located for the places we needed to get to Nothing
- tyla bruce (4/5): - There was stains on both of the bedding, the wallpaper was scratched and ripped, the TV didn't work, there was cracks going up the wall, the room was tiny it felt claustrophobic you could barely fit anything in it. Didn't even stay the night.
- Dritan (1/5): - very cold and filthy
- Warren (10/5): Always stay here when I go to the football staff are great and great location Thank you - Everything was good Nothing
- carlos (7/5): Todo bien, personal atento - Es muy céntrico Las habitaciones pequeñas
- gillian (10/5): -
- mark william (4/5): -
- Niall (2/5): Looks nothing like the picture - Nothing Everything the picture in your booking.com are nothing like what it look like. It’s run down, everything looks dirty, looks nothing like the picture very very disappointing

- Paolo (2/5): Non lo consiglio, indecente. - Niente Sporco, tetro..
- mr william (6/5): pleasant. - room nice and clean.cleaning lady was very nice and polite.
plenty of bus stops. bed was too low.could of done with extra pillow each.
- Symphorien (10/5): -
- Yusuf (1/5): Awful - Awful
- Jessica (10/5): Extremely satisfactory - No complaints here on price for the room, the room itself, or the area it's in.
Staff were very informative and pleasant when checking in and were friendly in passing. They even fulfilled a request to take/hold a parcel for me with no issues.
The sliders on the front of the door to indicate to room service to come in or not were useful, the room was perfectly pristine, and had charging ports, a heater, tea/coffee facilities, and a fan if needed, which, for my stay, definitely was useful after a hot day in London! N/A. I suppose the door to get inside was a little confusing at first: you need to press the doorbell/buzzer then open the door but the staff explained it just fine when we confirmed.
- Sue (7/5): - Staff were pleasant. Room and bathroom were clean. The size of the bathroom, notably the shower, was small.
- Martina (8/5): -
- Seb (10/5): -
- Kathryn (7/5): - Location good and good value for money, staff friendly
- Tatiana (5/5): -
- Steve (4/5): Probably OK in the winter. - Location was good The cold water to the shower was nonexistent, making it scalding hot and basically unusable.
There's no air-conditioning, so the room was boiling hot, even with a fan on full . To be fair, it was the hottest night of the year, but it was impossible to sleep. The room we had was at the front of the property on a main road, and was very noisy.
The whole place looked tired.
- Olivia (8/5): - It was very easy to check in and only a short walk to get to the train station. The rooms were clean and tidy. The rooms could have been air conditioned or had a stronger/better fan as it was very hot.
- David (7/5): -
- Levi (8/5): Pretty much what I expected. The basics and nothing else !! - A good place to flop Asked the night counter person if I could have a one hour late check out (at noon). Was told yes. 11am I was told to leave !! 😑
- Carol Anne (9/5): Excellent budget stay in great location. - Great budget hotel - excellent location, friendly staff. Hallway carpets very worn - but didn’t impact our stay/
- Rayan (5/5): -
- Sharon (6/5): Overall it was good value for money and staff were very friendly - Room was spotless, location was not bad. No aircon
- Daisy (7/5): -
- Brendan (9/5): Staff excellent, room perfect, good bud routes to main areas in London - Perfect location for 2 night business trip Carpet on stairs and landings need replacing
- Jessica Otten (4/5): Outdated and noisy! - Location was good, 24 hour reception. Very small and old. Had a bad sleep because the walls are thin. You can hear everything, especialy your neighbours plumbing.
- Henry (7/5): My stay was quiet, private and comfortable, just the way I like it. - Clean and easily accessible Only had one pillow
- Jon (6/5): -
- Sara (7/5): - The location is great and they have 24h reception The building is old and a bit run down
