• Arslan (5/5): Никогда больше ! - Единственное, что мне понравилось в отеле, это ванная комната. Там был откидной стульчик, можно было сесть, как ни странно. Душ отходил от стенки, можно было вытащить душ и искупаться так, как хотел, помыть все части тела. И, в принципе, всё. Единственное, что мне понравилось, это вот эта ванная комната и местоположение тоже хорошее и все Во-первых, в отеле практически отсутствует нормальный ресепшен. Заселение и получение ключей ты делаешь почти полностью сам, сотрудник просто стоит рядом и подсказывает, куда нажать. Номера маленькие, ремонт уставший, ковролин с неприятным запахом, пол в комнате был просевший. Окна выходили во двор, где постоянно шумел внешний кондиционер, плюс ещё шумела система кондиционирования внутри самого номера. Спать было очень тяжело. Матрас оказался крайне неудобным — проваливался, кровать узкая, нормально выспаться невозможно. Но самое ужасное — это парковка. Я специально выбирал отель с парковкой. В итоге выяснилось, что своей парковки у отеля нет. Парковка находится примерно через два квартала. Каждый заезд оплачивается отдельно — около 55–65 долларов независимо от времени стоянки. Если вы выехали на машине и потом вернулись обратно — платите снова полную сумму. Самое неприятное, что при бронировании это подаётся так, будто парковка есть при отеле, хотя фактически это дорогая сторонняя парковка далеко от здания. Для тех, кто путешествует на машине, это может стать очень неприятным сюрпризом. Лично я этот отель рекомендовать не могу.

Great location (across the street from Rockerfeller Center and a block from St. Patrick's Cathederal). Very accomodating staff, clean facilities, nice sized room and comfortable bed. Access to coffee bar and water filling stations on each floor a plus. Can't think of any negatives.

The unique layout of our particular room allowed us each to have our own bedroom and bathroom, so great for 2 friends traveling together who want a little privacy versus a standard room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the coffee in the lounge area - great espresso and lattes! It was completely quiet as well - no street noise. Nothing.

• Catherine (10/5): This is an excellent hotel located across the street from Rockefeller Centere. - Easy check in and were delighted to receive an upgrade. Enjoyed the free coffee/tea on 2nd floor. Also liked the soaps and lotions in bathroom. Loved that there were lots of highly rated breakfast cafes nearby, Eataly, L'Amie Pierre, etc. Nothing, everything was great.

However, the room safe was super small - it has to at least fit a standard-sized laptop, which this one did not.

They attempted to solve a breach of privacy issue and asked what would it take to satisfy me. I told them one night compensation for lost time. They had to email the manager because she wasn't taking calls. They understood my frustration and the stress the employee entering my room when my privacy tag was clearly hung on the door. caused for me. They were very professional, but the incident was out of their hands. My safety, security and privacy were compromised at The Jewel Hotel. I placed the blue privacy tag on my room door the moment I arrived to my room after checking in. I never take the sign off the door because I do NOT allow anyone in my hotel room when I am traveling. This is a rule I always follow for security reasons. On day two upon entering my room, I noticed my privacy had been breached. A cup of brewed coffee was on the desk and my personal unopened bottle of water that I purchased next door at Walgreens had been opened. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk. The front desk said a lady called and reported a coffee maker was not working and gave my room number. No one bothered to check or verify the individual calling or room calling for service.(This is what I was told happened) When the employee arrived at my room, he should have questioned the privacy/security tag on the door and verified he had the right room before entering. He entered my room violating the privacy/security protocol. When I asked to speak to a manager, she would not take my call or return my call or talk to me in person. Supposedly she was on zoom all day, and on Monday when I attempted to reach her again, she was in meetings all day. I emailed guest services, and they forwarded my email to her, and she has not replied. She credited my account $30 without even speaking to me regarding a privacy security violation. It took me several hours of my time to look through all my items because I had everything unpacked. I tried to find another hotel since I did not feel safe knowing a male can enter a locked room with a privacy tag on the door. It took several hours away from my vacation time away. I then asked for housekeeping to come up and change all linens because I wasn't sure what took place in my room. I waited in the room for housekeeping. I asked for one night's compensation for my loss of time, anxiety and discomfort regarding the situation. The manager only relied to me because I filed a formal complaint. In her email to me she said the issue was a minor breach of security and the male was a new employee. This is unacceptable. The issue was not minor to me. It took away several hours of time from my vacation. The hotel states they “make things right with no fuss’. The manager clearly violates their core beliefs by crediting me an insulting $30. My time is worth more than $30. The stress and anxiety caused by the situation has no price tag. I was traveling alone and the thought of a male employee entering my room when my privacy tag was clearly displayed my entire visit is frightening. The fact no employee verified the caller and the room number calling is unacceptable. The fact the employee saw the sign on the door and still entered my room is unacceptable. The fact I paid for a night of comfort, safety and security and lost hours of my personal time over the hotel’s negligence is unacceptable. Just know if you have an issue, the manager does not converse with the guest

Im Zimmer konnte man hervorragend schlafen, da die Fenstertüren zum Balkon perfekt abgedichtet waren und kaum Lärm von draußen hereinkam. So hatte man trotz der lebendigen Metropole eine ruhige Nacht. Wenn man hingegen auf den Balkon ging, konnte man den beeindruckenden Blick auf die Stadt genießen – einfach wunderschön. New York, die Stadt, die niemals schläft, wirkt dort oben fast traumhaft. Im Vergleich zu anderen Städten (Washington) war es hier trotz Großstadttrubel deutlich angenehmer.

• Olivier (9/5): Un hôtel calme extrêmement bien situé et bien équipé doté d’un personnel charmant. - Hôtel tranquille idéalement bien placé dans le quartier Midtown de Manhattan, à côté de Radio City. Personnel charmant, cafetière et quelques dosettes disponibles dans la chambre, salon au 2ème étage pour déguster gratuitement des boissons chaudes, salle de gym au 5ème, distributeur gratuit d’eau filtrée à chaque étage. Moteurs de climatisation extérieurs bruyants malgré les fenêtres fermées.

The room was very clean and when we called for clean towels they were there fast with our clean towels. The staff was awesome especially Erik who took the time to make sure our needs were met. Disponibilità dello staff per lo spostamento di stanza. All'arrivo, e non prima, siamo stati informati che nel building affianco c'erano lavori in corso con martello penumatico tutto il giorno. Anche dalla strada il traffico si sentiva molto per via dello scarso isolamento acustico. Spostati sul retro abbiamo scoperto che, oltre a quello dei lavori, sentivamo provenire dal cortile un fortissimo rumore dei condizionatori e questo anche di notte. Materasso troppo morbido. Pulizie non impeccabili.

The coffee and water set up was great, filtered water available on all floors and a coffee machine for good coffee any time of day. A bit dusty in the room on the walls and areas not regularly cleaned like lampshades etc.

Frigobar, ferro de passar, secador ( tudo muito bom ) todos andares tem purificar de agua com garrafinhas vazias para voce encher a vontade. ( uma baita economia com agua na viagem ) No segundo andar tem uma sala bem grande com maquina muito boa de cafe, capuccino leite a vontade. Voltaria a me hospedar novamente em uma proxima Viagem a Nova York.
• Aleksandra Uruska (10/5): - Super miła obsługa, możliwość przechowalni bagażu, na 2 piętrze salonik z kawą gdzie można popracować, bez problemu checkin i out, taxi z i na lotnisko, rewelacja, bardzo polecam, super lokalizacja
• Inara (7/5): - 24/7 lounge with free coffee and tea. 24/7 small but equipped gym. Purified water coolers on each floor. The location is pretty nice. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. The mattress was a disaster. It's probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever encountered in a hotel. It was completely worn out.

• Marla (10/5): Wonderful find in the middle of Midtown. - Location, room size and quiet. Bed was super comfy. No real lobby area. Room decor/furniture a bit dated. Huge linen carts in the elevator area almost my entire stay.
• 71wb (10/5): Just perfect - Best location possible, if you like yo spend couple of days in the heart of Manhattan. Just outside of 30 Rock. Free coffee and tee in the lobby (very good coffee!). Great value as well. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

• Farkas (10/5): - Az elhelyezkedése a szállodának tökételes, könnyen megközelíthető a reptér és az összes látványosság. A lounge ingyenes kávézási lehetősége és a water stations sokat hozzáadott a kényelemhez. Kedves, segítőkész személyzet.

• Esma (9/5): Worth to stay - Location amazing! Clean! Worth to stay. Extra beds are not comfortable. If you are family the 3rd bed is really thin.
