- Wafa (5/5): - The hotel’s location is very good. It’s close to almost everything. And it’s clean ! Thanks for that. What I disliked the most was the breakfast. In the description, it says the breakfast is good, but it really isn’t. Some of the food seemed like leftovers. If you wake up late, you may miss it. When I complained, I was told, “first come, first served.” Seriously? It’s my vacation, and I paid for that service. We went to the lobby around 9 a.m., so there was still an hour and a half left for breakfast. If the food runs out, they should prepare more for the guests. I’m still in Kuala Lumpur, but I changed the hotel because of that unfortunately. Also, some of the information given at the reception was incorrect. The staff should also follow up with customers to check whether they still need help or if their problem has been resolved when something happens. Thanks.

- jean (1/5): Une catastrophe - Bonjour, Nous avons payé 172€ la nuit pour cet établissement (Somerest) en pensant avoir un minimum de qualité… mais la réalité est tout autre. Le logement est dans un état très dégradé : * Murs fissurés avec traces d’humidité * Joints de douche jaunis et pleins de moisissures * Porte-papier toilette qui se détache du mur * Matelas déchiré * Télévision (connexion Netflix qui bug) et micro-ondes qui ne fonctionnent pas * Eau chaude uniquement après 20 minutes d’attente Rien n’est conforme à l’annonce. Les photos présentées sur Booking ne reflètent absolument pas la réalité. C’est une grosse déception pour toute la famille et clairement pas acceptable pour ce prix. On a vraiment l’impression d’avoir été trompés. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement. Passez votre chemin

- Ryan (4/5): Disappointing, look elsewhere for better value. - This is my fourth time staying at Somerset Ampang. I first stayed at the property back in 2015. - The best thing about the hotel is still its location, which is only a 5-10 minute walk to KLCC and other nearby malls that have sprung up in the last 5 years. - The rooftop pool remains enjoyable for an early morning or nighttime swim. It's amazing to be up there during sunrise and sunset. - I was happy that there was no music playing in the pool area, as this was annoying on my previous visit (2017). - Staff are helpful when asked for information. - You can fill your water bottle using the free dispensers provided in the hotel corridors. The hotel is showing its age. Fixtures and fittings in the room are worn and chipped, corridors have marks on the walls, and my room's door had large scratches on the outside. This unfortunately gives the hotel a worn and run down feel. - The jacuzzi on the roof does not work, no matter how many times the green button is pressed. - Photos of the hotel are outdated. A lot of the old embassies in the area have been demolished and replaced by large tower blocks. The view from the rooftop pool shown in the hotel's photos is no longer accurate. There is a large Embassy Suites complex opposite blocking the view, and the swimming pool will soon be overlooked by another large residential tower that's nearing completion. - Housekeeping seemed to attend my room at very strange times. For example, two male housekeepers attended my room at 7pm on a Friday night. This could pose an inconvenience for family stays. - My room was the Studio premier on Level 9. I have to say this is the worst room I've stayed in at Somerset Ampang. - First, the AC was extremely noisy, especially at night. It can be turned off but you're in for a sweaty night if you do so. I had to sleep with ear plugs in just to get some rest. Not exactly a relaxing experience. - Second, room soundproofing was poor. There is a family room next door and I could hear children yelling as if they were in the room with me, particularly through the bathroom wall / air vent. - Third, the bed in this room is showing serious age. It has a large divot where so many people have slept on it, and the pillows were old and poor quality. Two pillows were provided: One was extremely soft, the other barely had any filling. One pillowcase was not clean, it had multiple hairs on it when I arrived to the room. The other pillow was old and stained yellow. See the attached picture. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying at Somerset Ampang based on my experience.

Быстрая и удобная регистрация на стойке ресепшн Номер не очень новый, атмосфера такая местами печальная. Рядом стройка нового ЖК, но мешает только проходу к отелю по дороге. Почему-то нельзя плавать в бассейне на крыше после 23. Интернет не очень быстрый
- Lajos (7/5): Nem azt kaptuk amire számítottunk, szerintem ezen az áron lehet jobb minőségű és szebb lakást béreln - másikat. A képeket valószínüleg 10 éve csinálhatták, mert a valóságban teljese másképp( rosszabbul!) néz ki a szoba. A reggeliről a helyszínen derült ki, hogy naponta egy “ zacskóban kapjuk” a kaját amiért reggelente le kell mennünk. A szoba, amit kaptunk rendkívül lelakott és büdös, dohos volt! Igaz amint jeleztük rögtön kaptunk egy másikat. A lakásról készült képek nem tükrözik a valóságot, azokat már rég csinálhatták. Lelakott, elavult volt. A fenti medence is nagyon lepusztult.

Badewanne & Regendusche waren super und es gab auch einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Die Waschmaschine funktionierte einwandfrei, es gab sogar Waschmittel. Gegenüber des Zimmers am Gang gab es Wasserspender für gefiltertes Trinkwasser. Beim Pool waren immer brüllende Kinder, konnte man leider nicht genießen. Das Zimmer wirkte ein bisschen altmodisch.

Somerset Medini Iskandar Puteri made me try this hotel in KL. Somerset Medini impressed me so well but this hotel turned out the other way. Lighting very very poor. Too dim and creepy. Not ideal to get ready if attending important events. Parking had to pay RM10 per entry despite spending hundreds for stay. Fan is so slow even setting it to maximum. Might be small thing but it's not for people having sinus problem like me cannot be in conditioned air whole time. TV remote out of battery. I bought my own batteries during my stay.

All in all, everything was truly pleasant—from the comfort of the room to the hospitality shown by your team. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the 3-bedroom unit, which was extremely convenient and comfortable for a big family like ours. The spacious layout allowed everyone to rest well while still enjoying quality family time together, making our stay even more meaningful. Another highlight of our stay was the strategic location. Travelling to different parts of the Kuala Lumpur area took only about 10 to 15 minutes, which made getting around very convenient and stress-free. I would like to share a few points for improvement, which I hope can be taken constructively to further enhance guest experience: The shower head holder was loose Water temperature was inconsistent between hot and cold Shower head water flow was quite weak There was some leakage from the water pipe I had requested towels and a bath mat via the ASR app, but the service request was delayed by about 30 minutes and required a follow-up call for it to be attended to.
- Juan Manuel (9/5): Good place to stay in a nice area. - The location is great, very close to the Petronas Towers in a nice area, close to several shopping malls and restaurants. The staff provided a kind attention and the rooms are comfortable. The clean up of the rooms by the housekeeper wasn’t the best. A couple of times I shaved on the bathroom sink and after coming back found some hairs still in the sink that was supposed to be clean.

- Jiri (10/5): Skvělý hotel v KLCC s nádherným bazénem a službami. - Skvělý bazén s oddychovou zónou na střeše včetně bezplatného kávovaru. Můžete si taktéž všude nabrat pitnou vychlazenou vodu a využít bezplatného shuttle servisu. Pokoj byl obrovsky, perfektně vybavený, matrace vyhovující. Evropský turista bude určitě překvapený ze snídaňového servisu. Podávají se jen chlazené a balené sendviče a jídla k ohřátí. Z žádného místa hotelu není vidět na Petronas Tower, ačkoliv jste velmi blízko!

Rooftop pool to do laps, adequate gym equipment and lounge to chillax all serves its purpose. Rooms are clean, comfy beds, ceiling fan is added feature not common in other hotels. Adjoined to a medical specialist centre. Overall is not a luxurious but a functional hotel for business, medical tourism or leisure stay within klcc area. Carparks entrance and exit ramps quite narrow. No complimentary parking for inhouse guests. - Chooi Yen (7/5): - We stayed in a jungle-themed family suite. The toys and facilities were adorable, and our child really enjoyed the stay. The only downside was that the additional fee for small dogs was quite high. Hopefully, pet-friendly policies in Malaysia will become more accommodating in the future.

- Clinston (9/5): - Its very value for money for such nice and spacious room for the price, very comfy, ample of parking. Very nice bathtub and body wash and shampoo good quality and smell. 1 of the pillow coloured ones is smelly , kattle not working.
