• Karl Marx Suite

  This gorgeous suite is named after the renowned historic figure Karl Marx. Following the European revolutions of 1848, the hotel became a refuge for political exiles from across Europe. In August 1849, Karl Marx, a prominent socialist leader and philosopher from Western Germany, arrived in London with his family. They stayed at Leicester House Hotel, where Marx began writing his influential work, "Das Kapital." They lived there for three months until 1850. This suite features a king-size bed and a bathroom with ceramic floors, separate bathtub and walk-in shower. It has wooden floors, a mini-bar with free water, a coffee machine, a kettle, tea and coffee. The room has 1 sofa bed, an armchair and a work desk.

• Jessica (10/5): Adorable little hotel in the heart of London. - It’s such a great little hotel. Our room was adorable. And out of the four hotels we stayed in on our trip, this one had the most comfortable bed. The bath tub is massive. It’s centrally located, easily walkable to most attractions. There are tons of restaurants near it. Will definitely stay here again.
• Tracey (7/5): Pleasant stay. - The staff at every level were professional, courteous and happy - the room was spotless, and the layout was spacious. Liked the fridge and safe in the room, and the hairdryer was quite punchy. The pillows were a bit hard, getting in and out of the bath/shower would be a complete palaver for a less mobile person, the bedside lamps didn't work, no 'normal' freeview on the telly, and there was no de-caffinated coffee alternative available.

A special thanks to the very friendly and helpful Candaş on the front desk. I visit London frequently; by far this is the best place to stay in terms of money for value. I’ll make sure to stay here in my future travels. Thanks everyone in the staff for their genuine smiles on their faces, cleanliness and being reachable/helpful (very swiftly I might add) 24/7. This sure was a memorable stay!

The restaurant Asador was fantastic Leicester Underground station was very convenient Its proximity to Chinatown and the square was excellent for getting around but this area is very busy and can be noisy and crowded .
• Carolin (8/5): Unschlagbare Lage, aber leider kein echtes Badezimmer... trotzdem zu empfehlen! - Die Lage ist unschlagbar, nur wenige Minuten vom Piccadilly Circus (Underground zum Flughafen) und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind direkt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Betten sind bequem und das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider sind die Wände zu den Nachbarzimmern sehr hellhörig und man hört jede Schranktür. Die Doppelzimmer haben kein räumlich getrenntes Badezimmer, sondern lediglich ein seperates WC und ansonsten nur eine mit Schiebetür abgetrennte Badewanne/Waschbecken, dies war aus der Zimmerbeschreibung nicht so ersichtlich.

• Dylan (9/5): My first West End experience - The receptionist was lovely to chat to and provided very helpful advice on transport for our departure. Really central location which was ideal to see a West End in theatre. Comfy and clean facilities. The room was a bit small but I guess that's what you get for the city centre location. The fridge was making a cracking/snapping noise every now and then which did impact going to sleep a little bit.

Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en 24 uur per dag beschikbaar. Speciale dank aan Candaş voor de persoonlijke aandacht, dat maakte het verblijf extra fijn! Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: de hygiëne was uitstekend, het bed lag heerlijk, de kamer had fijne faciliteiten en er was altijd warm water. Je merkt echt dat er aan alle kleine details is gedacht. Kortom: een fantastisch verblijf, absoluut een aanrader! 🌟 What an amazing hotel! Perfectly located in Soho, just parallel behind Leicester Square, truly a prime spot. The staff are incredibly friendly and available 24/7. Special thanks to Candaş for the personal attention, it really made the stay extra special! Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail: excellent hygiene, a very comfortable bed, great in-room facilities, and always hot water. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into every little detail. In short: a fantastic stay, highly recommended! Niets!

• Andrea (10/5): Excellent hotel near Leicester Square - The location was excellent, five minutes walk to the London Coliseum, Leicester Square and Chinatown were on the doorstep. Very helpful friendly staff on reception. The room was surprisingly quiet, very clean and comfortable. The bed was great, the shower was good and we were grateful for the extra touches. We had everything we needed. I wish we’d booked for longer!

• Jared (8/5): Perfect location. Lovely hotel. - Amazing location, clean Small, daily housekeeping was not very thorough. I don’t think the sheets were changed the entire 6 days nor the toilet or sink cleaned.
• Demi (7/5): Location is perfect. - Location is fantastic, so central to every place we wanted to go to Staff are really friendly Room was nice and practical Received a WhatsApp to let me know our room was ready Found what looked like a cut toenail on the floor. The sleep was horrendous, duvet is the same size as the bed no overhang so if two on a bed need to sleep closely. Pillows are very high with no other options. Soundproofing is bad, neighbour got to their room around 11:30pm and was awake until 4:30am moving around which meant we were woken up multiple times through out the night. Cleaning staff came into our room at 9am without knocking on morning of check out even tho we had do not disturb sign on.

Being a PA i need a quick go to at the last minute and this time i got the date wrong and then the hotel was fully booked. The Sales team and Givi saved the day with a new booking as i had to upgrade last minute. My Managing Director called me the next day to ask me to leave a 5 star review for ALL the staff as he thoroughly enjoyed is stay .... even if it was a suite he enjoyed it so much he was over the moon ! Thanks for all the team and Givi for saving the day !!!!

• Yuki (10/5): 素敵な思い出の１つ - 立地がよく、ミュージカルを観劇するにあたり非常に便利でした。ナショナルギャラリーなども近かったです。また、冷蔵庫があり、お水も毎日用意していただけたので、その点もありがたかったです。 施設の方もとても親切にしていただけて、チェックイン前後の荷物の預かりもしていただけたので大変助かりました。 ドライヤーが故障していたのか使えなかった点と、空調も効かなかったので(音はしましたが)もっと寒い季節だと大変だったなと思います。あと施設に対してではありませんが、立地は便利な一方、近くの地下鉄の駅はエスカレーターやエレベーターがないので、大きい荷物を持って宿泊するときは覚悟をした方が良いです。

• Maya (9/5): מקום מרכזי ונקי - המיקום היה מרכזי מאד. מרחק הליכה של 4 דקות לרכבת Piccadilly או Leicester House Hotel. המקום נקי והשירות אדיב. כמו שרואים בתמונות אין הפרדה בין חדר האמבטיה לחדר השינה. צריך מדרגה למי שרוצה להכנס לאמבטיה.

• Anastasiia (6/5): - Overall, the room was uncomfortable. The bathtub is located directly in the room, and getting into it requires a very good level of flexibility, which is quite problematic. In addition, the power sockets by the bed are extremely poorly designed: it was impossible to plug anything into them, so it was necessary to use other sockets, which is very inconvenient, for example when charging a phone. Finally, the last straw was a call from reception eight minutes before checkout asking whether we remembered about the checkout. This came across as very, very rude and rather unwelcoming. The hotel is located in a noisy area, but it is fairly quiet inside.
