Specially at night time you feel like you’re sleeping in the street they have control on your air condition in the room that they keep shutting down so you come back to her room or while you’re sleeping suddenly they don’t get hot because they shut the air condition from downstairs the breakfast in the morning, very limited cold, I was running out so better breakfast buffet and the worst thing happen. The elevator got stuck with my mom inside and when they open the door on her, all they say is you could use downstairs not even check on her or saying how are you doing or saying even I’m sorry and my mom is 74 years old and another thing you have to go about 20 stairs to get into the hotel from the Main St. so it’s not a handicap, friendly or senior citizen friendly
Raji (6/5): - It’s a walk distance to the takseem but you have to go up stairs to get to the reception ,, the elevator got stuck with my mom once and didn’t even say I’m sorry for it, the breakfast buffet was small and not a lot of varieties cold and they run a lot of time out of some items not what’s look like in the pictures and we find out that they shut the air condition couple hours every day for the rooms so they have a control from downstairs on the Air condition in your room and it’s a lot of noise all night long from the outside when you’re trying to sleep you feel like you’re in the middle of the street cars with loud noises and there is no noise barrier we have two rooms one in the third and one in the sixth floor and we still heard noises from outside
simin (10/5): - The check in and check out easy, Staff very kind and kind, The price was good, we left the hotel to continue our vacation in turkiye and we have reserved room in this hotel for two days before our return to Canada as our check out time and the nice management offered us a discount also. We recommend everybody to stay at this hotel in Istanbul.

I called the reception to ask what was going on, they casually told me, "WE ARE FIXING THE ELEVATOR"!! Another ridiculous issue: The Air conditioner switch was on the ceiling, not on the wall! and there was no remote control provided to turn it on or off! We had to put a chair under the panel just to be able to reach it! Then we called and asked for an iron, they brought one, but it has a UK Plug!! and it didn't even fir the sockets in the Hotel in Istanbul!! Overall the Service was terrible, and I absolutely do not recommend this Hotel!

Sengen er ikke komfortabel. Dusjdøra hang løs, håndkle feste hang løs. Mye var gammelt. Bildene man ser før reservasjonen stemmer ikke hilsen ung par fra Norge. . Dette er gamle bilder . Damene som hadde renhold på hotellet var veldig flinke. Eneste som var bra med hotell var renhold av rommet . Frokost som var inkludert var heøt grei, eneste som var dårlig var at vi hadde 5.netter opphold og det var samme mat hver dag , kunne bytte på litt . Var dårlig service med varmt vann til te etc. Var alltid tomt så man måtte spørre. . Også måtte man helt ned til resepsjonen får å hente seg dette og kaffe hver gang man hadde lyst på varm drikke

External noise from the night life nearby might disrupt the sleep. Breakfast is average. Convenient location to Taksim Square and direct bus (in front of Point Hotel) to Istanbul airport.

Anna Margarethe (10/5): - Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Haben nach früher Ankunft zeitnah ein Zimmer bekommen und auch auf früheres Frühstück wurde eingegangen. Zimmer zwar ein wenig klein für 3 Personen aber sehr sauber ! Man kommt super mit dem Havabus von Flughafen zum Hotel. Taksim Platz sowie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel fussläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Frühstück und Unterkunft entspricht dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis :) Wir würden wiederkommen !

Cuando llegamos y nos asignaron la habitación estaba muy fría (la temperatura era de 5 grados en la ciudad y dejaron el aire frío prendido en la habitación) . Eso fue un gran inconveniente para nosotros porque tardó mucho en calentarse el cuarto y tuvimos mucho frío. El desayuno muy bueno.

Proche à 4 min à pied du station Havaist Proche de tout les moyens de transports Proche d Istiklal, restaurant de tout. Bonne climatisation Chambre toujours propre Lit confortable Petit déjeuner bien suffisant Le point le plus fort c’est le personnel : accueillant, respectueux, serviable, sans oublier les femmes de chambre aussi serviable et souriante. Bernard Fernand (6/5): - Ce fut certainement un bel hotel autrefois, mais il est usé et vieillissant, l'agencement est vieillot désuet, il faudrait rafraichir cet hotel. Qui plus est la télévision n'a pas fonctionné durant notre séjour, c'est incorrect. L'hotel est très bien situé, pratique à coté de tout, shopping, transport, très sécurisé et calme, tout à coté de la place Taksim. Le personnel est vraiment courtois très très gentil vraiment adorable....ah les chambres sont plus petites que sur la photo, mais bon, on pourrait se plaire dans cet hotel si totalement renové...et la tv en marche, pour un petit séjour c'est parfait.

What I did not like was the elevator, it was too small and sometimes we had to wait a long time to get on it. But overall it was an enjoyable stay, and I would consider it for my next trip to Istanbul.

Nachts sehr laut durch DIskothek in der Nähe, bis 5 Uhr morgens ohrenbetäubender Lärm. Schlafen kaum möglich.

Khaled (8/5): - Not my first time choosing this hotel and loved my second experience. My room was big and I was surprised that it got a big terrace with a good view. The location is aslo one of my favorite things at the hotel. The downside was the breakfast, very basic and not much of a variety. This time I booked also a room for my cousin and her husband, and unfortunately there room was really small, was at the first floor so it was noisy and they were disturbed by other guests at the same floor and the light from the sign of the facing building.

Monzer (2/5): - If you are wondering why the hotel is so cheap, I will make it easier and share my experience with you! Keep in mind. You get what you pay for! Rooms are very tiny and small. Room service doesn’t exist. I called three times asking for hot water to make coffee, they never sent it. On a very hot day /over 40C/ 104F/. They decided to turn off the AC so they save on their energy bill. When I asked they claimed that the AC is on a scheduled maintenance for two days (in the middle of the season!!). I couldn’t survive the heat for more than 24 hours while my reservation was initially made for 10 nights. When I asked for refund, the manager on duty became very rude and unprofessional, he refused to refund me or to relocate me to a different room. I don’t know how they expect their residents to stay there with no AC!! Luckily, Expedia saved my trip and relocated me to a nicer hotel. They still owe me the money for my second reservation that they refused to refund. Don’t make the same mistake I made!!!
Maya (8/5): Budget hotel that's located in a very good area - This is not a high-end hotel, but it's a comfortable hotel. I liked my stay here. The hotel is located very close to Taksim Square in 1-2 mins walking distance. Many restaurants and shops nearby. I got a room that was facing towards the street, so i could see what is happening around the hotel. There are no international TV channels in the room. No drinking water provided, but you can get from a grocery shop opposite the hotel. Hotel staff don't speak much English but understandable. If there is language problem we all have access to Google translation app,so it is not a big deal. Breakfast is not good and not bad. They serve the same things everyday. There are variety of bread for you to choose and don't miss the peach tea. It's so nice. But,don't fall for a discount on massage service that they offer. The massage I received was very terrible. The masseur seems to knew only rubbing, not massaging. My tiredness was still there after the massage, so it's not worth the money at all. If you want to experience Hamam, go to Tarihi Galatasaray Hamami that's located nearby Taksim Square, not at the hotel. After all , staying here is good enough, if you want to control your budget. Taxi and Uber are very easy to access. You can take a tram at Taksim Square as well. Enjoy your stay !!

But the property it was not what we were expecting, the shower was leaking and it was very dangerous as we were afraid off falling and getting hurt. Yusuf (2/5): DO NOT STAY - Firstly, I would like to start with the poor and shocking customer service provided by the staff at the hotel, who were really rude and deceiving and looked to making extra money on every occasion. Torgey was the name of one of the receptionist who was really rude, I complained to him about 2 light fittings right above the headside of my bed which was causing me difficultly in sleeping and was a health risk as I hurt my head on it quite a few times. Another sharpe fitting on the side of the toilet on which I cut my arm, and again another health risk.The last point which I wanted to notify people about was probably the most disgusting and horrific thing that I have seen in a hotel especially a hotel which is catering for families. Firstly, me and my cousin were asked multiple times for personal services in the lift by which I could only assume we’re prostitutes. I then seen these same very women and different women on different days entering a room next to us on our floor. Loud music, smell of cannabis and screams coming from the room next door was preventing us from sleeping on so many nights. Having then gone and complained about this matter to the receptionist Torgay who smiled and laughed and replied saying special financial agreement with the boss of the hotel, which implied to me that multiple rooms in this hotel were being used as brothels. strongly advise you to stay away from this place as this experience was a nightmate for me and would be devastating for families.

Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Stay in Istanbul! - Terrible stay! We stay in Istanbul often as we have come to really like Turkey and this by far has been our worst stay!! Not to mention the Hammam is not only very shady and questionable, but also a HUGE RIPOFF!!!
Khalil (8/5): - It’s a good location like 4min walking to Taksim Square, they clean the room every day, breakfast it’s just ok, the negative thing at night a lot of noise because the night clubs close by so I suggest if they can replace the windows frame for better ones so can’t hear that noise while sleeping, overall it’s a good hotel for the price I pay.
melakeselam (10/5): - I stayed at the Fereman Hilal hotel in March, 2021 for a couple of days and also in November, 2021 for a couple of days. The hotel is very amazing and such wonderful staff Turgay and Mert. Turgay and Mert always helped me in any way and went over and beyond from helping me with finding a laundary service, through organizing my booking of the hotel, helping with my luggage, organizing private shuttle transfer and with PCR COVID testing for my flight. These guys work really hard and care about there customers and customer service. The first visit I was very impressed by the location in Beyoğlu, Taksim area, the hotel is very near Taksim square and also Soo many shopping areas, restaurants and cafe. The hotel is centered in a prime location very close to Isitikal street a big shopping area. The second visit Turgay and Mert remembered me from 5 months ago and greeted and welcomed me. They taught me some Turkish language, also about turkish culture, and where to get the best Turkish kabobs and shopping areas. Anytime I stay in Taksim and visit Turkey I will visit and stay at Fereman Hilal hotel the hotel facilities are really clean, the WiFi is very fast, there is a great lobby area where you can get work done and the hotel is centered in a prime location close to all activities and transportation.

Thomas (10/5): Will stay again. - The staff folks were very helpful when I became suddenly (not the fault of the hotel) ill and needed assistance. The quality of the food has improved since my last visit 6 months ago. Additionally, the hot water is now hot as compared to prior luke warm water. I will be a repeat guest. Everything is nearby including HavaIst airport bus.

Verified traveler (6/5): - First day we came to the hotel, they should give us the room at 2pm, so they have been late like 45 mins and the reception was very rude with us because we were asking when we will take our room and it was our right to ask since our check in is at 2 and we’ve been waiting in the hotel since 9 am. The room was too small for 3 persons and the breakfast was not that much good, it is passable. At the same time, the hotel is very very close to taksim square and the service in the hotel was good.
