Location was ok but would have preferred to be a little closer to area near night markets. By the way, note night markets only Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights! Be prepared that it is very hard walking along path ways as blocked with parked scooters etc all around that area.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a live counter for eggs and other non-vegetarian breakfast items, which would make the breakfast buffet even better. The rooms were well maintained, and the service exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vietnam. - Claire (10/5): Great, quiet location. Lovely rooms. Delicious food. Amazing staff. - Breakfast was on the top floor in a beautiful room with views over the city. We were offered an a la carte breafast menu to choose dishes such as omelette and eggs benedict, and we also were able to choose and select from the buffet tables. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and kind. The room was decorated to a high level and had everything that we needed. It was comfortable, spacious and quiet. All staff that we came in contact with were so nice. One in particular stood out. He was called Daniel and he was on reception. When we checked out, he asked us where we were heading (Ha Long Bay) and we informed him that we had to go to a meeting point. He tried to help us order a Grab Taxi to the destination but realised it wasn't very precise so, with permission from ourselves, phoned the trip organisers and arranged for us to be collected from the hotel. It was so kind and he didn't have to do it as it was something booked away from the hotel but it really helped us out. Thank you, Daniel!! The only thing would be that there are only two lifts. There's not a lot they can do about that and we didn't have to wait too long.

The pool was perfect and never busy and the rooftop bar in the evening was fabulous - very cool and a lovely place to hang out after a busy day in the city.

The room was small and the bathroom felt dated. Soundproofing was not great and street noise could be heard clearly. Breakfast service felt rushed and the staff seemed inexperienced. I requested a window seat but the staff were hesitant to clean it and instead asked us to sit in the middle area. Overall, the service felt unaccommodating. The pool area was dated and the spa did not appear to have water or was not functioning.

She gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Hanoi, as well as helpful tips for the rest of our trip in Vietnam. Even after we checked out, the hostel kindly stored our luggage and let us use the shower facilities, which we really appreciated. Great atmosphere, excellent service, we would definitely come back. I had notified staff of that and asked to keep same room which they were more than happy to oblige. Location is considered old quarter but a little removed from the heart of it. It is still within easy walking distance and tours picked us up directly at hotel. Rooftop bar was great with happy hours. Breakfast good with a menu even. Staff was exceptional on my 5am departure to the airport arranging a taxi the night before and a boxed breakfast to go. The elevator is a bit small to handle big groups

We first enjoyed welcoming drinks on the house while staff members process the check-in procedures, and our room was ready at around 1pm. The reception staff, Daniel, was so kind that he personally recommended tourist spots and restaurants. The recommendations were so helpful and we enjoyed the spots a lot! Next, the services were also delivered on point. We would request for a bowl of ice every night to enjoy our drinks in the room, the bowl was ready as soon as we went up to the restaurant named November. The food served during the breakfast period was also wonderful, such that we believe that the pho served was even better than famous restaurants that served pho! To sum up, we would highly recommend everyone who like high quality services to come to the hotel for an amazing journey!

Unusual bathroom which in my view was not that practical - a deep step into the bath for over bath shower. Bizareely the shower has 2 windows into the room - there are blinds but these are hard to reach unless you are in the tub itself. More signage needed to preven water splashing on to the floor. Complimentary toiletries.
- Jopat111 (8/5): Good hotel, so so location - Hotel is nice. Very clean and modern. Rooms are a decent size and immaculate. Beds are very comfortable with a choice of pillows. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok though a little chaotic as the restaurant space is quite small, eggs have to be ordered though rest is self service. The pool is quite nice, it’s small but a good addition and appears well looked after. Biggest issue is there are only 2 lifts which hold about 5 people, yet there are 12 floors! Restaurant is on floor 12, so it can be quite a wait for the lift to get back down.

Firstly the location was really convenient. Close enough to old quarter but yet not within the crowded parts. There is a good pho place beside the hotel as well. Secondly, the staff were really attentive. One of the managers gave us an overview of the surroundings with recommendations upon our arrival. She also followed up with us on feedback throughout our week long stay. Lastly the breakfast was good. Simple fare but with nice variety and change each day to keep it interesting.

Everyone was helpful and clearly cared about making our stay a good one. DANIEL, our main point of contact, truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations, helped us arrange taxis, and walked us through costs and logistics so we always knew what to expect. When we wanted to book a private car to Ninh Binh to see Van Long (the “King Kong Skull Island” area), he handled all the details and explained everything clearly. Since it was our first time in Vietnam, he also helped us understand how things work here, from ATMs to local customs and things to avoid, which made a huge difference. His support made the trip much smoother and more enjoyable, and we genuinely appreciated how attentive and kind he was throughout our stay!
