- Praveen (8/5): Location, location and location. - Location and price The bar closes early and the free drink they offer is a joke. Please don’t fall for it and go to a proper bar somewhere outside. Vallet parkingn is $100 and super expensive. There are public parking nearby and for half the price for 24hrs. Rooms are noisy and you could hear voice from neighbors. Also, we do observe safety issue around 31st and broadway.

Vista su Empire State e molto in centro, vicinissimo alla 5th Ave e Brodway. Quando siamo arrivati ci hanno dato due gettoni per un bicchiere di prosecco gratuito. Un po' rumoroso in quanto sulla strada e senza bollitore dell'acqua per fare il tea.

- Nancy (7/5): If the rooftop restaurant is opened, we would stay here again. - Location was convenient to subway, restaurants, right around the corner from Koreantown, mid level view of the Empire State Building. Bathroom was a good size. Room is suitable for a group of 4. Beds were also comfortable. The gentleman bartender was courteous, and conducted himself in a professional manor. We appreciate that this hotel isn’t a spring break ‘party’ hotel. Didn’t like that we we not informed the restaurant is only opened seasonally. We had planned one night to eat there, and instead, had to go to Margaritaville’s rooftop restaurant. Also, the hotel is actively under renovation and only one elevator was available. Glad for the updates, however, it smelled strongly of paints & chemicals due to remodel.

Camera spaziosa e molto pulita con un bel bagno. Da tenere presente per una prossima visita. Da gennaio 2026 fino a Maggio ci sono importanti lavori di ristrutturazione in atto, che si sentono (di giorno) e che bloccano (di giorno) completamente 1 dei 2 ascensori con consequenti disagi. Sarebbe stato bello saperlo prima e anche uno sconto secondo me ci stava.

I wo - Very good location The building works really disrupted our stay - constant mess the the front of the reception and builders in the way. The worst was having to wait about 5 mins anytime you wanted to use the elevator due to the builders using one. Eventhough rooftop was not opened yet (bar) it was possible to enjoy the city view. Very clean. Rooms are quite small, for a family of four, with 4 luggages it was quite challenging.

- Mr_AK_82 (2/5): Renovation Chaos, Elevator Issues, and Poor Service – Disappointing Stay - Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and that had a noticeable impact on the experience. There was a large dumpster placed right in front of the lobby entrance, which didn’t create the best first impression when arriving. During the daytime, one of the elevators was frequently unavailable because construction workers were using it to move equipment and materials. With only one elevator operating for guests, it often took a very long time to go up or down. The overall attitude at the front desk also didn’t feel very welcoming. The staff seemed disengaged, and the late-night front desk employee had a very “don’t bother me” kind of attitude. The room itself was decent in size, and the bathroom was acceptable, but you could clearly see signs of age — especially the bathroom door and some fixtures that could use updating. Breakfast was another frustrating experience. The breakfast room had only one staff member working, and the kitchen took nearly 20 minutes just to prepare an avocado toast. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst avocado toasts I’ve had. Between the construction, elevator delays, indifferent service, and underwhelming breakfast, the stay didn’t live up to expectations. There are several other Hyatt properties in New York, and I would recommend considering one of those instead.
- Darko (6/5): There are better options for the money. - Staff were mostly very nice, the room was exceptionally clean and I had fresh bottle of water and towels each day. 1. The "higher floor" paid option is actually 6 and 7th floor out of approx. 18, so the name is misleading, it's definitely higher than ie. 2nd floor, but that should be stated when booking. 2. There are works in hotel, nice for you that you're renovating but you should have informed me so I can stay elsewhere or not charge the full price. 3. The heating furnace is very loud, I mean extremely loud and I stayed when it was cold so I had to run it all of the time.

- Lawrence (2/5): Construction Woke Me Up Sunday Morning - No Substantive Courtesy from Staff - Good location, clean, nice staff at restaurant. Horrible front desk staff and management. They had construction going, and on Sunday morning I was woken up around 8-9 in the morning by hammering and drilling all around me. It was terrible. I have Audio recordings of the sounds. No one warned me about it. No emails, no information in the confirmation messages, no mention of it by the front desk employee who checked me in when I arrived at night. The staff told me that a placard at the front desk said there is construction and I could have cancelled at check in! How absurd?!? They engaged in false advertising and then when I brought the issue up to them they totally ignored me, they offered a paltry $40ish dollar discount of destination fees. That’s it?
