Quarto grande, boas roupas de cama e banho, restaurante muito bom e aberto o dia todo (importante pois muita coisa fecha das 12h30 as 16 hs). Wifi funciona bem. Pode ir a pé nos principais prédios históricos do centro de Salta.

- Jessica (10/5): - We had a lovely time staying in Salta and exploring the city and going on the day trip to the Salta Grande. The hotel felt luxurious in a very close walk to the main square and was a great price! The gym was FABULOUS and had lots of equipment for cardio and weight. We saw locals who had gym memberships there as well. The breakfast buffet was also nice and we also had dinner at the restaurant and it was quite tasty. Some people on our tour came back to eat there a second time! Overall 10/10 experience.

- Verified traveler (4/5): 3 star hotel by US stand, not 5 star! - Hotel was on your site as a 5 star hotel. It is more of a 3 star hotel. Very few staff speak English. When we checked in, the reception person spoke no English. We received room 901. Unpacked. Realized the air conditioning was not working (Salta is a warm area). The hotel did send a maintenance person, who could not resolve the problem, so we were given a different room. We were not traveling with carry on only, so it took some time to move. We sent laundry out, which we also did in Bariloche. The price here turned out to be double! 3 shirts to wash and press, 5 t shirts, 3 pairs of socks and 3 men’s under pants. $50 approximately??!! The food at the hotel is excellent. However, no one in the restaurant really understands any English. I was brought my starter and principal at the same time. This is language and common sense, no? The house keeping is good but the bathroom is so old and dated, it is not their fault that the stone has absorbed so much dirt etc. The shower opens 15 inches. At a 5 star hotel, you are given free water. Have a coffee maker in your room. There is night service to see what you need etc. There is none of that here. And the front desk is hot or miss, if you can find someone who understands any English. From what I understood from the local people. This used to be a better hotel, that has gone down hill. The owner has a very successful transportation business, so this is a sideline for him. My advice, book the Sheraton.

Fifteen was on my back which I requested extra time at booking and after a few minutes on my legs & arms the rest was spent massaging feet and hands on & on & on. I get massages regularly and this is one of the worst I’ve ever had. If you go be sure to take your watch to check the time & tip accordingly. Make sure you don’t get Olivia.

El Lobby súper ultra ruidoso por los eventos en las salas de arriba ! Mi primer experiencia lamentable no satisfactoria en un hotel que me deslumbró por las imágenes de su decoración publicada en la internet , que en honor a la verdad lo confirme una vez allí, una decoración no muy recargada pero muy típica y tradicional , fiel reflejo de nuestra esencia como salteños.

- Chris (10/5): - Our suite was on the top floor with a commanding view of the city. The room was spacious with more than enough wardrobe/drawer space to accommodate our clothes. The lounge area was comfortable. The king bed was in fact two doubles on the same base but it was comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with a separate toilet, sufficient light and very airy. There were just enough electric outlets but a few more and maybe a USB or 2 ports would be helpful. The room itself had more that enough light fittings to adjust the mood to whatever you wanted. Housekeeping was very efficient and the laundry service exceptional. There was also nightly turn down service. The gym and pool were very good. The only negative comment is regarding the lifts. They were very slow and at times it took an unreasonable length of time for the doors to open. The restaurant was good, the food was well prepared and the price reasonable. This means its tough to get the attention of the concierge, usually a line whenever I wanted to talk to the front desk for any reason, grid-lock in the dinning room at breakfast, and worst of all at times the elevator takes a while (9 minutes one time!)
- Edward (10/5): Touch of Locale and Luxury - We booked a luxury room, as others were not available, and enjoyed a very spacious, quiet room with sofa, comfortable chairs, a gorgeous 11th-floor view, two TV's, king bed, extensive breakfast choices. Would have liked an English language channel on TV for news. Local and historical themes in decor, including interesting art work everywhere. Laundry service was prompt, not expensive. Doormen, concierge and servers friendly and helpful.

- Verified traveler (10/5): I'd come back - Hotel Alejandro 1 was in a great location with really friendly and helpful staff. I would 100% stay there again but there were some small things that could be improved. For example, the housekeeper changed our towels every day, which was nice in theory, but actually frustrating since she never automatically replaced the bath mat or both hand towels so we had to call and ask for them again every single day.

Gym in good condition and all equipment was well maintained and functional. Had enough machines and weights to get complete workouts. Very well maintained pool, hot tub, dry and steam sauna. Front desk always very helpful for tourist information and planning.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We are ready to move in! The Alejandro offers a fabulous buffet breakfast; they have a well equipped gym, Pilates and yoga classes, a swimming pool and sauna. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff is unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. The price is unbelievable for the luxury you get. The only negative: only Spanish language television.

Wifi is very good, parking is free; swimming pool, gym... Nothing to complain about. We loved very much the place. At 200 meters from the main city place. The restaurant of the hotel is quite good too.
- Alistair (8/5): Be Clear as to what you expect. - The hotel itself in terms of it's condition, presentation, cleanliness, and the meals was very very good, everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. My issue with the hotel was the service received from the front desk. It's unfair to go into details as to what happened as l am still resolving the issue with the hotel, however my advice is to make sure that the staff comprehend what your wishes are! I sincerely hope no one using the hotel has a similar problem as myself.

- Brian (8/5): - The hotel is centrally located and has friendly and helpful staff, many of whom also speak English. A nice touch is the glass sided elevators providing nice views of the city. It is however, not quite the 5 star hotel it claims to be as the furnishings in my room, which also offered nice views towards the main plaza, were quite dated.
- andy (10/5): Brilliant hotel. - Really brilliant hotel. Lovely spacious room - great shower and even a kettle ( unheard of in most hotels own Argentina). One of the best breakfasts we have enjoyed. Would stay here if travelling through Salta. Best hotel we used in Argentina.

- Joan (10/5): Very good experience. - The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were all helpful..The neighborhood was safe to walk and close shopping. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of variety. We also ate 2 dinners in the dining room which were excellent at a reasonable cost. The only negative was that we could not find one T.V. station that was in English. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

THe lobby and hallways have tasteful decorations of Andean culture. It has a large gym with many facilities, a good-size swimming pool, jacczzi, steam bath, and sauna on the gym level.

- Angela (8/5): Perfectly located, spacious and comfortable - The hotel is perfectly located being close enough to the main town square but on a street that isn’t so busy. The rooms are spacious, our bed was comfy and the bathroom was large. We were lucky enough to have a room on the 8th floor so had a room with a view over the park across the road. The breakfasts were ok and we’d highly recommend going out to one of the many restaurants in the town nearby within walking distance rather than eating in the hotel restaurant. We did both and our dinner at the hotel was our least favourite of the five nights we stayed. That aside it’s a really good hotel that was great value for money.
