I was informed in advance by email that "not all rooms have a front facing window" but I still assumed, by the way the email was written, that there was a window maybe facing the back or a wall or something. The email should have been more clearly stated.

• Andrew (3/5): Very uncomfortable - Good location. Room had no windows or ventilation and AC didn’t work. Rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes. Guests smoked in the hallways and it would drift to my room. Pillows awful. Walls paper thin and you can hear so much noise. I couldn’t wait to leave.

• Janelle (6/5): Convenient - The hotel is in an excellent location for tourism. Most things are a 5-15 minute walk away which was very convenient and saved money transport wise. Previous reviews about thin walls and ‘fake’ windows are correct. You can hear when others are in the corridor, taking a shower, and flushing the toilet. I was lucky to be neighboured with other guests who realised how noise travelled and so kept quiet during the night, I don’t think it would have been a great experience next to people who weren’t as mindful.

• AHAD81 (6/5): Beautiful location, very helpful staff. Room is too tiny, no window,out of elevator for three days. - Excellent location if you want to stay in the Gothic Quarter. Good shops nearby if you need a coffee or basic stationary. A lot of cafes around including a Starbucks about 20 ft away. Wifi was good, I was only using it for emails but it checked about 7-8 mbps speed. Bathroom is spacious enough. Very pleasant staff, always willing to help. The elevator did not work for the 3 out of 4 days I was there. The stairs are kind of steep too since the hotel had space issue generally. Not working three days should not be ok. There was a shower gel, toilet tissue and towel as toileries, nothing else., which was ok for me. I know the budget rooms in Europe can be small, but this was way too tiny. If you are alone, it will do. Or if you will be in the room only an hour or so other than sleep, it will do. My room had no window at all, but I was informed about it by the property - after booking though. A second person will be tough. as long as you use it just for sleep and shower, it is ok. but then you can consider all those hostels too for that purpose.

• Klaudia (8/5): - A célnak megfelelt, nagyon jó elhelyezkedése van. Hűtőt érdemes lenne a szobákba rakni, illetve furcsa volt hogy a szoba ablaka egy “alagsorba” néz.

• Bryce (3/5): Location was great, but rooms were plain and not comfortable. - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Since April is still consider winter months there cooling setting is shut off and the heater is turned on. With that, it was extremely hot in our room. With two windows directly facing neighboring building we didn’t have any breeze or fresh air. I had to ask the front desk for a fan, which was provided.

• Marcelle (9/5): Prima hotel - De locatie van het hotel. Overal vlakbij Enige jammere was dat de airco nog niet aan stond. Die was voor de hele verdieping en stond nog niet aan.
• Riina (5/5): Kuna meie eesmärgiks oli näha linna, siis veetsime võimalikult vähe aega hotellis. - Selle hotelli kõige suurem pluss on asukoht. Kõik vaatamisväärsused on praktiliselt ümber nurga. Hotell oli üldiselt puhas ja personal sõbralik, kuid tingimused väga askeetlikud. Kui oleks teadnud, et satume tuppa ilma akendeta ei oleks kindlasti seda hotelli valinud. Kuna hotell oli täis, ei olnud võimalik seda ka muuta. Viimasel ööl pidime võitlema ka hiiglasliku prussakaga, kes ilmselt sellest aknalaadsest õhuavast sisse ronis. Just arvestades neid üliaskeetlikke tingimusi, ei olnud hind seda väärt.

• Stefania (1/5): Senza finestra - E' centrale. Mi sono ritrovata come in un buco nero. Semza nemmeno una finestra anche piccola! Come un loculo, senza aria condizionata, accanto all ascensore! Terribile! Da mancare l aria. L ho comunicato appena arrivata e mi e' stato detto che non c era altro. Secondo me e' illegale e mi informerò. Solo dopo avere preso soldi non rimborsabile, mi hanno mandato mail per comimicarmi che la stanza si trovava proprio accanto ascensore. Cusconi durissimi. Un ventilatore sarebbe l'aria condizionata???? E dove e' il telefono in camera scritto nella descrizione???? Ditele prima , queste cose, prima di prendere soldi.
• Valentina (9/5): Todo bien 🙂 - L’hotel si trova in una delle stradine del bellissimo Barri Gotic, la posizione è perfetta e ci sono tante attrazioni letteralmente a due passi. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile e attento ai bisogni del cliente. La stanza è un po’ piccola con una piccola finestra che dà al cortile interno ma se siete a Barcellona per uscire va benissimo così.

• STEFAN (9/5): Good value for money. - Very central, near Rambla and Cathedral of Barcelona. Very small rooms, with no outside window. The elevator make a lot of noise and the walls are pretty thin.

Я бы посоветовал владельцам отеля решить проблемы с окнам - Очень хороший персонал, Мужчина на ресепшене знает свою работу на 100% Удобное расположение, ко всем достопримечательностям можно пройтись пешком! Очень маленькие номера. Душевая очень плохой работает. Шумо изоляции ноль. Окон нет, номера совсем не проветриваются. Если бы не хороший персонал мне кажется им было бы тяжело удержать своих клиентов, все бы выселились после первой ночи!

Las sábanas, el baño, almohadas todo olía a tabaco. Toda nuestra ropa quedó impregnada de mal olor. Mucho ruido durante toda la noche, peor que un hostel

Sötét szoba, világítás miatt. Nem volt wc kefe, ami fontos! A tusolónál borzalmas volt a víz választás alig lehetett jól irányítani. Több pipere holmi is lehetett volna, pl Sampon. Túl erős volt amivel befújták a szobát. A törülköző tiszta volt de számomra büdös.

• Giada (8/5): Ho soggiornato per due notti e devo dire che sono super soddisfatta della mia scelta x tutto!! - Stanza piccola ma molto accogliente, inoltre il personale molto cordiale e la stanza sempre pulitissima!! Consiglio anche perchè trovandosi sulla Rambla si possono raggiungere molte attrazioni a piedi con i mezzi pubblici. Nonostante fosse situata su una delle vie principali della città la sera non c'era affatto casino Letto troppo troppo rigido (opinione super soggettiva) e difficoltà nel calibrare la temperatura dell'acqua della doccia
• Pere Pau (1/5): Revisar bien antes de pagar, no sea que te suban el precio en el último momento - Un hotel coqueto y muy limpio El precio indicado en la web era de 163 €, una tarifa bloqueada y sin posibilidad de cancelación. Sin embargo, en el momento de realizar el pago no me percaté de que había subido a 239 €, algo que nunca me había ocurrido anteriormente. Reclamé tanto a Booking como al hotel, y ninguno de los dos atendió mi queja. Un precio totalmente abusivo para un establecimiento de una estrella. Realicé una simulación para otra fecha y volvió a ocurrir lo mismo, pero el servicio de atención al cliente de Booking no quiso ni escuchar mis argumentos. Solía utilizar Booking con frecuencia; a partir de ahora buscaré otras alternativas. Mucho cuidado.
