- jcrann (2/5): Smells like feet! - EWWW! We stayed here one night for a Sharjah layover on our way to Maldives, we are very very happy that it was only one night. The hotel is close to the airport which is that only reason for 1 star. Everything else was terrible. Extremely crowded on arrival, got to our room and it was disgusting! It smelled so bad, like nasty feet. We were too tired after a long day of travel and had to be up early for a flight so we didnt request to be switched. The carpet was nasty and needs to be ripped out. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Thisum and Shehani were absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, attentive, and always made sure everything was fresh and well stocked. Their positive attitude and warm smiles truly made my mornings special. A special thank you to Thisum for making me a very delicious hot chocolate one morning — it was honestly one of the best I’ve had and such a thoughtful gesture. Shehani also made my breakfast experience even better by suggesting some dessert combinations I had never tried before, and they were absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my visit, especially Nalin and all staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall environment was welcoming. I appreciated the smooth check-in process and the good service from everyone I interacted with. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

- C (8/5): Excellent stopover - We spent about 4 hours here between a late and early flight. The staff were helpful and cheerful and the room quiet and smart. Only downside is that it isn’t really walking distance from the airport, you need a taxi, as there are no pavements and it is 15 minutes walk. It was a $50 ride from Dubai airport.

Sharjah airport is 5minutes from the hotel. The rooms are fairly clean and the breakfast has a good selection. You can request for transport to and from the hotel to the airport

The location was perfect—just a short drive from the airport and very close to the Xposure event, which was super convenient for me. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the pool, which I really appreciated. The staff were kind and helpful, and the service was generally good throughout my stay. The only downside was the price—it was a bit expensive during that time, likely because there were several events happening nearby. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back in the future.

My room was very nice, the condition is great, even if slightly dated in style. In order to accommodate modern power demands a few extra power points/usb charging points would make the room even better. I always carry multi-point charging devices, so not a problem for me. Overall, extremely satisfied with the hotel, room and facilities.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice little getaway. - Nice getaway hotel for Eid. This hotel is obviously outwith the city centre and is in an area where it was easy to drive without traffic hold ups. We loved the pool and we loved the food. The staff were very polite and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. There were malls nearby - within a 10 minute drive. We went to 06 mall. We also went to Fujairah which was only an hour’s drive away . Overall I enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it.

- PILIB (6/5): - This is a modern hotel property and the closest hotel to Sharjah airport. You can see it from the terminal, but it´s difficult to walk there from the airport. No shuttle bus and I got swooped on by a taxi driver who charged me AED45 for a 2 minute run. Apart from the taxi ripoff, the hotel itself is OK and has a good buffet restaurant and a tiny Starbucks.

Had to wait 40’ for a steak although restaurant was empty and they forgot to bring the me starters, we were left completely unattended. At the moment of paying they pulled out the credit card too early and transaction was declined but I received notification from the bank I had been charged. They insisted I made a second payment saying I should be happy they didn’t charge me for the starter that never came....appalling!
- Mahmoud (8/5): - On arrival the check in was relatively fast. I was offered a room with two twin beds and My reservation was a queen bed. They asked me to take double twin bed and they switched it on the same floor to a room with queen bed when I went out. The room was small for a hotel near Sharjah airport compare to other Rotana Hotels that II have been in Al Ain and Dubai. That was ok for me but you should know the room I had was not spacious at all. Breakfast was great but if you stay longer than 3 days it can be repetitive. Again I had better breakfast in Rotana in Al Ain. Not much is going on around the hotel other than University city and Sharjah Airport. If you intend to visit Dubai not Sharjah do not stay here. Only One bus goes to Dubai Mall and one bus goes to the beach which is not good. As a result I did not use it. If you would like to commute to Dubai it can get pretty cost full. I did not have lunch or dinner but I checked the price and they are pricey. I asked for moisturizer and travel size toothpaste they referred me to the store inside the hotel. I tried to book uber to airport and uber is not available in the area. When I asked for s taxi they only accepted cash. I checked with the staff at the reception and they gave me 20 Durham’s charging my credit card which was amazing help and The lady was extremely helpful. I was on my way out of country and did not want leftover change from uae. Overall a three star hotel and very clean and comfy.
