• 683balg (2/5): Rip off - Markets itself as a four star hotel, but this is really 3. The location means it can get away with it Service : front desk are efficient but cold as are the restaurant staff. Cleaning staff are slow and sloppy. Room: cold, peeling wallpaper and despite booking a superior room, it was two single beds pushed together with 2 duvets. Was like sleeping on an ironing board Breakfast: Boring and undress- I think many of the pastries are bought from yhr nearby Lidl. Dont add to your booking and save money V disappointing hotel and I would never stay here again.
• Departure814130 (10/5): GREAT HOTEL - We spent two nights at this wonderful hotel. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was very nice with plenty to choose from. The hotel was 3 min walk to the train station and 5 min walk to the Belvedere palace. The superior room was comfortable and clean and included a kettle with Tea and Coffee.

• Dong Hui (10/5): - Spacious room, convenient location and walking distance to Carl Church and Belvedere Palace. Close to regional train station which can take you right to the airport. But there is no fridge in our room.

• Susan (8/5): - This was a good hotel, lovely room, and very quiet. It was close to some things and a Hop On Hop Off was nearby. Our room needed some attention and to be fair they did try to fix one of the issues while we were there, but it wasn’t successful. There was an odd transition between the bathroom and main room, which did cause a few problems with stubbing our toe, because you’d forget about it. We would book this facility again for sure as any issues were minor.

• Diane (10/5): - The hotel is in a great location with a great staff. I felt very welcomed and accommodated. It is quiet, safe, comfortable and very walkable to nearby restaurants, museums, etc. There is also a tram station very close if you don't want to walk or it's raining. The food and bar were quite nice as well if you don't want to venture out. I will say they need to update their materials, as there are not multiple restaurants as stated (one on the 7th floor and one on the 1st floor), nor a mini bar in the room. However, that is minor as you can easily walk to other restaurants or go to the self serve refreshment area in the lobby for snacks if needed. Amenities in room were nice - love the smell of their shampoo and lotion. Good assortment of teas and coffees. Thanks for a lovely stay!
• Terry (6/5): - Felt a bit uncomfortable in this hotel as a tourist, it felt like this hotel is specifically set up for corporate hospitality, maybe I’m being a bit picky as all our previous hotels on our holiday were small and quaint. Reception staff were good but could do with being a bit friendlier when checking in/out. Bed was way too hard for myself ( I know this is an individual preference) didn’t sleep well the 3nights we were there. I wouldn’t stay here again simply because of the lack of sleep i had.

Was offered to move rooms. Bed and pillows were average. AC took awhile to cool down room. Very quiet hotel in a good location. Hotel had great staff. Superb breakfast. We has some small glitches, but overall it was a nice stay.

• Susan (10/5): - Comfortable bed and good shower. Good choice at breakfast but a bit expensive so only chose to eat once during our stay. We used a cafe near the station to the right of the hotel. Limited options for dining in the evening but a short tram ride or 20 minute walk to the centre of the city for other options.

Also the bathroom was large and very nice. I didn't eat breakfast, so can't comment on it or the hotel restaurant. I'd definitely stay here again.

The only big thing that wasnt great were the soaps and shampoo was combined, the keys needed to be replaced almost every time we came in and they said that it was because it was too sensitive. • Vikenty (6/5): Would be decent if mini fridge would be working - Mini fridge in the room didn’t work, when we reported it to the reception we been told that they are phasing out mini fridges so they won’t do anything about it. What 4* hotel doesn’t have a mini fridge in the room? It’s an essential part of the stay. We have received a complimentary bootle of Austrian sparkling wine, but it was warm and we couldn’t cool it down because fridge wasn’t working. So while we are grateful for the gesture- we couldn’t enjoy it. Otherwise hotel was nice and very well looked after, room was spacious and clean, and in a very convenient location.

• daliborka7 (8/5): Once Our Favorite Hotel in Vienna – Now Below Expectations - My family and I used to stay at this hotel regularly for over ten years, and it was always our favorite place in Vienna. After a few years' break during which we tried other hotels, we returned – but unfortunately, our experience this time was disappointing. The hotel seems to have lost the charm it once had. The overall quality of service has noticeably declined, and the entire property feels tired and in need of renovation. At check-in, we were initially given rooms that were significantly smaller and of lower quality than the ones we used to stay in – I didn’t even know such rooms existed in this hotel. However, to their credit, the staff responded to our complaint and moved us to the rooms we were familiar with and satisfied with. We also had issues with parking. We asked to pay for a full day of garage use with the ability to come and go freely. Although we were told the daily rate was €18, we were never given a proper day pass and ended up paying much more by the hour every time we left and returned. It seemed like the reception staff didn’t know how to provide the day card. On the positive side, the hotel still has a great location, spacious rooms, high standards of cleanliness, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. If we hadn’t stayed here in the past, we might have rated it higher. But because we know what this hotel used to be like, we were left somewhat disappointed. I truly hope it regains its former glory in the future.
• ADIANNA (10/5): - Modern. Clean. Huge rooms. Very close- about 4 minutes walking to Rennweg train station that connects you with main attractions in Vienna as well as the airport train. I would happily stay again. The one thing I would like to see fixed is the card situation. If your key card is too close to a phone or something magnetic or an electronic device, it will deactivate the card. So several times during my stay I had to go downstairs because I couldn’t get into my room and they had to reactivate my card.

• 692anuja (10/5): Definitely Recommend - Austria Trend Hotel was a great value deal. 100% Recommend. Location: 2 mns walk to the metro station and Bus Station which in 2-3 stops will take you right to the city centre. Subway and other restaurants in walking distance and supermarkets as well. Connected yet quite from the touristy hustle Bustle. Rooms: Very clean with all the amenities. Highly Recommend the premium Room. Large, very spacious bathroom and a balcony with killer View. Rooms were serviced daily. I took breakfast at the hotel only once and it was great. Live Egg Station with tons of variety (not at all like standard Europe with only limited cold options.) spread was very good and tasty. Servers were very courteous.

The gym was horrendous though , extremely limited and only had 5 pieces of equipment . But I'm sure business executives are not worried about the gym . Solid .

• Scott (4/5): - We were staying at a “luxury hotel” with a 9.8 rating on Expedia. When we checked in, the system for producing room keys was down and we weren’t able to get room keys until the next morning. Each time we went to our room, we had to get escorted there by a staffer to let us back in. The first time this happened, they did nothing to verify first it was our room and I gave them Hell for that - I’m convinced I could have said any room number and they’d have happily let us in. When my travel mate got in her bed on the first night, something pointy was stuck in her back which she later learned on investigation was a toenail clipping from a previous guest. We told them this and they said they’d have housekeeping come and do a thorough cleaning of the room, change the sheets, etc. They didn’t because the sheets were the same wrinkly ones. They said three times they were going to leave a gift in the room (presumably a bottle of wine) and never did and just before supper I went Karen on the front desk person and said this place is run at the standard of a roadside motel. They comped us a voucher for any two drinks in the bar. When we went to use it for cocktails, we learned it was only good for a small beer or their lousy house wine. They’ve also comped us two free breakfasts, which was similarly marginal. Not impressed. A big disappointment. Don’t stay here.

Great location near Belvedere and 1 minute walk from underground station, #7 circular tram stops outside. Perfect. One niggle was the cleaner. Asked for tea and coffee only, no need to clean, got towels. Next day during clean they removed the wine glasses which were part of the room's bar equipment.

• Beverley (10/5): - Lovely big room great balcony and facilities, only downside is that there is only an ironing room you can’t get tour own iron and ironing board. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were dry and inedible and sausages looked awful and just boiled. Everything else on buffet was good with nice fresh fruit. Bar was good and staff looked after us very well. Ate one night and was not too bad. Great location not too far to walk to centre.

• Boesgaard (10/5): Great location, fantastic service from crew - Stayed here for one night. Was upgraded to a suite. The room had a bit of wear which I did not mind. Really great sofa-area. Bathroom was huge, but the shower missed a rainfall-head which I prefer. Also the glass-door from the shower opened in way that made it hard to reach a towel. But those are minor complaints. Location is good - right next to Rennweg station which has the S7 straight to the airport.

• Rajaram Prakash (10/5): - It’s close to a Lidl and Burger King. The bus stop from 71E is a 3 min walk to Vienna town centre. The hotel is 20 min walk from opera house but a 3 min walk to Belvedere palace museum. So overall good location and good for runners
• Yogendra (10/5): - Great location, excellent rooms and amenities. Front desk staff were very helpful, with a special mention of Kimberly who addressed all our requests and answered all the questions. The only disappointment was the housekeeping staff who could have done their job better.
• Elisabeth (2/5): - Here are the elements that we did not like: - The chain to lock the door was broken before we even checked in - Nobody wanted to lead us to the ironing room - When we went to the reception to ask, the employees just gave us the instructions without leading us - We had to spend 15mins to find it - The QR code for the minibar was hidden - The instructions were not clear, so we were charged over €50. - When we went to get the breakfast, the lady did not tell us the price and told us to just come in - Therefore, €56 were spent. - On our last day, there was a sign on our door that said “Do not disturb” - However, it was not us who put that sign - Someone put it there and therefore, the room was dirty when we came back. we had to call reception to ask them to send someone to clean.

• Alina (8/5): Vienna - This Hotel is situated in a very good location, 10 minute walk from the train station. The rooms very large. The beds were a bit hard for my taste, but the Breakfast was Amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room even over looked the Belvedere which was magical in the evenings. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very large! My only downside was that I felt breakfast was slightly expensive, however it was nice with lots of choice. Book here and try and stay level 8 facing the Belvedere!
