The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. The hotel was clean overall and convenient for a short stay in Singapore. The facilities felt a bit old and the room was quite small. It could be more comfortable for longer stays, and some areas would benefit from refurbishment.

The rooms are small but clean, also there’s a water filter and safety box which is a real plus! The doors are not sound insulated, this results in quite some noise from the hallway. Curtains are dark mode or open, which means that you often close them for privacy.

- Hannah (9/5): - Sehr gute Lage und Verkehrsanbindung mit Metro und Buslinie direkt vor dem Hotel. Ein 7-Eleven und Food Center ist direkt gegenüber vom Hotel. Ein Wasserspender ist auch in jedem Zimmer. Die Betten hätten ein bisschen weicher sein können und das Zimmer ist relativ klein, was aber bei der Buchung schon bekannt war.

Another big plus was the complimentary 45-minute room they offered before leaving, which was very convenient for showering and freshening up. Small shower. Not good sound proof.

- Nezabella (8/5): Convenient location, small but functional rooms. Friendly staff. - Great location, close to two metro lines which was very convenient. A small supermarket, convenience stores and some restaurants (including a food court) close by. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bedroom is a bit cramped but still functional and is as advertised (square meterage clearly shown on information page). Bathroom is small but very functional with a roomy shelf above the sink and toilet. No bottled water but a filtered water tap has been added to the bathroom sink. Bed was a bit hard for our liking. Note, not really enough room for 2 large suitcases, we brought rolling duffles instead of suitcases specifically, as I knew the room was going to be small. With one on the suitcase stand and one tucked close by there was just enough room to get past and also open the bathroom door. Good location for Bugis Junction shopping precinct and Chinatown. Not too far from Orchard Rd either.

I think they should improve on the breakfast. Even keeping it basic it can be improved on. Taste and presentation wise.

- Alan (6/5): Average hotel but served its purpose for a short stay. - Well located for the MRT. The breakfast was average at best. Not much choice and poor quality. The pool was ok but as it is in the centre of high buildings there was never any sun.
- Martin (7/5): - Very helpful staff, great view, clean, very well-located close to all means of transports, museum, Canning Park, malls. Room was narrow but practical. Washing machines available. The hallway is very noisy, sound isolation is poor. You can hear everything from your bed. Be prepared for a jump-scare in the middle of the night when your neighbor enters their room at 4am you will think someone is getting in your room. Gym is really small.

- Bernd (8/5): - Wir haben sowohl auf der Hin-, wie auch auf der Rückreise nach Australien in Singapur im Hotel Mi Bencoolen einige Tage übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral direkt an einer Station der Down-Town-Linie und ist daher ideal mit dem Zug vom Flughafen erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber zweckmäßig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl wir unser Zimmer am Abreisetag bereits geräumt hatten, wurde uns am späten Abend vor unserer Abreise zum Flughafen noch ein Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt, wo wir frisch machen und umziehen konnten.

Very friendly staff and it's absolutely great that one can take a shower after having checked out if one's flight is later in the day! The breakfast had rather limited options, fruit or yogurt would have been great for people with dietary restrictions. Be aware that the walls are quite thin, but the guests were in general not loud.

- Iris Vrijdags (7/5): Fijn basic hotel op goed gelegen locatie in Singapore - Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook de ligging ligt op loop- of makkelijke OV-afstand van de grootste bezienswaardigheden/must do's in Singapore. Het zwembad was zeer welkom in het warme, vochtige klimaat van Singapore waar we dan ook ten volle van genoten hebben. Een goed basic hotel in Singapore centrum. De kamer was vrij klein en sommige dingen waren nogal stoffig. Online hadden we gelezen dat je een gratis telefoon met 4G ter beschikking kreeg, maar dit bleek niet het geval. Een foutje vanuit ons misschien, maar toch jammer. Verder geen slecht woord over dit hotel.

Personal extrem hilfreich und freundlich. Gelegenheit zum Duschen vor der Abreise extrem angenehm. Die Regulierung der AC war schwierig. Die Lärmdämmung zum Korridor ist nicht optimal.

- YUI (8/5): 交通の便と費用を考えると悪くない選択肢 - 場所がすごく便利、地下鉄の入り口から近いし、周りにモールや朝食屋さんなどもあります。マーライオンを見に行くにはバス利用なので、炎天下はありがたい存在です。 部屋はそこそこ綺麗だが、やはりビジネス用なので、狭いです。プールには更衣室がないです。
