• Kalokwa (10/5): - Very ideal for quick movement to conference location, nearby restaurants and shopping centres. The room is small to put a chair and table

• Ruth (8/5): Functional hotel in a good location. - Location was great - close to Tiong Bahru food centre, which is currently our favourite food centre. Quiet area of town but close enough to the MRT that you can get to other areas. Room was comfortable and staff were friendly. Unless I missed finding them, there weren't any shared common areas to relax, e.g. pool, lounge, gym and the price was not much less than other accommodations with those features. The bathroom was open plan, which is usually fine but the water drained right across the floor from the shower to a drain in the opposite corner meaning the floor stayed wet for a long time.

• Nadia (9/5): Great location - Great location, 5-10 minute walk from the station. Great restaurants and cafes down the street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean room, bed was very comfortable for us, it was very firm which we like. Highly recommend this affordable comfortable stay. Although the shower pressure was very good, the shower is right next to the toilet so it gets wet and the floor floods, and with the chosen tiles it was very slippery.

• Kalokwa (7/5): My stay was very overwhelming, and the tour of Singapore was worth a lifetime and very beautiful. - The location was convenient as it was near the place where I was conducting my workshop from. The room was always clean and neat. Because I needed to do some work while in the room, I required a small table and if possible, a chair to cover some material for preparation and planning my work.

• Simon (8/5): Great location for SG base - The Neighbourhood is great. Tiong Bahru market is a really great hawker centre to have local. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Close walk to Outram park metro to get all useful places in SG AC stopped working briefly on last day.

• Sarah (10/5): Great location and wonderful staff - The hotel was in a really convenient place for us as we only had an evening and a morning in Singapore between flights. Even before we arrived the staff - James, Khairul and later also Marcus - were so helpful, confirming we could store luggage with them for the two weeks we were travelling in Cambodia and Vietnam (we are returning g to stay at the hotel after this trip) and telling us the best ways of getting from the airport. They also helped us work out the metro when we were there, which was just a 10-minute walk from the hotel and took us to the Gardens by the Bay and the airport the next day. Then the room was also just what we needed, quiet, comfortable and with all the amenities we needed. It’s also a short walk to the market from the hotel where we found lots of food stalls to choose our breakfast from. All in all we would recommend this hotel highly.
• Thomas (7/5): A nice spot to stay in Tiong Bahru - The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff are very friendly and attentive It is a basic hotel perhaps not often used for long stays. Room design and layout isn't great but the location in Tiong Bahru makes it a good budget friendly option

La habitación era chica pero muy linda, cómoda y limpia, y me pareció bien en relación calidad precio comparado con los otros alojamientos de singapur. Fuimos caminando a varios puntos turísticos, caminatas de 30-40 min, y otras veces nos tomábamos grab. El baño un poco chico pero singapur es así

• Ursem (7/5): Goed hotel voor redelijke prijs in een leuke (laagbouw!)wijk - De locatie op een rustige plek in een gezellige laagbouwwijk. Fijn om even buiten de hoge torenflats te zijn. Goed bed Goede douche Vriendelijk personeel Rustige geluidsdichte kamer Goede prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding Hygiëne: ondanks schoonmaak elke dag lagen er nog haren van anderen. Tv-zenders zeer beperkt. Koffie en thee uit zakjes met toegevoegde suikers, erg chemisch dus niet gebruikt. Na paar minuten douchen werd het water minder warm.

• bourke (9/5): convenient, cheap, clean, lovely - the people working the front counter are lovely, especially Xaviera!! they gave me directions on where to go and what to do since this is my first time in singapore :) also the facilities were good quality for the low price it’s a little far from the train station however there are many bus stops nearby so it balances it out!

À recommander Le bruit du VMC, mais il le faut sinon l'humidité se guette. C'est petit mais commodité est au rendez-vous.

The location is excellent — major hospitals and the MRT station are within walking distance, and Tiong Bahru Market is just 5 minutes away with very affordable food, groceries, and daily necessities. I stayed here with my mother, who is a cancer patient, and chose this hotel because of its proximity to the hospital. Marcus and Xaviera were especially kind, accommodating, and very helpful with our needs. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and will definitely return in the future.

Great, affordable option for those who need to be nearby the Singapore General Hospital complex. Affordable. Nearby Cheers and 7-Eleven convenience stores. Laundry options within 15 minute walk. Helpful staff at front desk. Cool kimono on display at the lobby. Irregular room tidying schedule. But they will tidy the room upon request.

• Tobias (8/5): I enjoyed staying in this hotel and walking to the nearby restaurants, market, and Outram Park MRT. - I liked the location of the hotel, the bed's softness, and the attitude of the staff. They were very nice to us and allowed us to put our luggage there before checking in, as well as let us check out at 2:00 pm. The room's AC was a bit cold, and although I turned it up a few degrees, after some hours, it went back down to the original lower temperature. Also, the shower's hot water quickly ran out, though it did return after a short break.
