- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location @ an older hotel - Excellent location by the Taipei main train station. Easy access to bus stops / MTR / train. Friendly & helpful staffs. Property is older and room is on a smaller side, and room has a "wet" or musky smell due to the humidity but overall it's a great stay for the price.

- Paul (6/5): Convenient location, somewhat okay stay - I booked the hotel because the location was extremely convenient to the station. There were two station exits really close to the hotel entrance, which made traveling on metro such as the MRT and HSR so quick. The staff was also extremely professional and helpful. As for the room, I enjoyed how spacious and clean it was. Very easy to navigate from the hotel entrance to my room. The amenities and bathroom were also nice during the stay. However, there were some issues during the stay. The bed was harder than what I was used to, but was workable. The worst issue was the A/C, where the room was not cold even when I set the room temperature to the highest cool setting. This was not convenient especially in Taipei's humid summers. Overall, I really enjoyed the lodging for its convenience and value. However, the bed and A/C was a concern during my visit.

- Bayu (8/5): - The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—just a few meters from the MRT Station (M3 exit), which made getting around the city effortless. The breakfast menu offered a nice variety and was a pleasant way to start each day. However, the rooms and amenities felt quite dated and could benefit from some upgrade. One suggestion would be to upgrade to universal power outlets in the rooms to better accommodate international travelers. Despite these minor drawbacks, it was overall a nice and comfortable stay.
- Nancy (10/5): - Room is small but decent and clean. Hotel is right next to Taipei main station (on the same block, right around corner) which is very convenient to use metro and go to Airport. Don’t even need to worry about rain since the pathway from hotel to metro is covered (the day we leave Taipei had big rain therefore this covered path to Taipei main station made big impression and helped us greatly). Unlike another hotel which doesn’t offer breakfast, this hotel offers breakfast with additional pay. This reduces struggle in the morning. But there are many breakfast options around the hotel. Love this hotel. Will stay with this hotel again next time when we are in Taipei!

Our room was always cleaned up and tidy when we got back each day, which we really appreciated. Great stay overall! Everything was great during our stay, but the bed was a bit on the hard side—probably because it’s still quite new. Would have preferred something a little softer for better comfort. Other than that, no complaints!

However, it does not have amenities like ice and vending machines and a bar like the other newer hotels in the area but the hotel rate is also a tad lower.

Her kindness and professionalism reflect the high standards of service at Cosmos Hotel. This was our third stay at the hotel, and as always, the entire team—from the front office, bell hop, housekeeping, and the 17 Café staff —made us feel warmly welcomed. Every interaction was filled with genuine care, making us feel like we were returning home each time. Thank you, Miss Tian Xiao Lan and the entire Cosmos Hotel team, for making our stay so memorable. - Elizabeth (10/5): great hotel we used as base camp in Taipei - My family of 5 stayed at Cosmos Hotel over the course of a month during our trip to Asia. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Taipei Main Station which is also the terminal stop for the Taoyuan Airport MRT. After you exit the airport MRT you need to walk quite a distance (indoors) to find the Taipei Main Station exits. The hotel is located at exit M3 and there's signage for Cosmos inside the MRT station. If you have a lot of luggage like us, I recommend you use exit M4 which has an elevator. Once you pop out of M4 you turn left to find Cosmos. The hotel provided some freebies: bottled water, sodas in the fridge, coffee vouchers, luggage holds before and after your stay. We experienced 4 different rooms during our stay there. The best one was a corner unit that had windows on 2 sides. The worst one was a handicap room next to the elevator - you hear the elevator noise all the time. Some bathrooms are better than others, but all were clean and adequate. The hotel is a 10 minute walk away from California Cleaners that does laundry for a reasonalbe price. It's 12 minutes walk from a Michelin rated breakfast place (Fuhang). It is next to MRT exits M7, M3, and M4 which places you at whichever lines you need to take. We appreciated the hotel so much that we cancelled another hotel reservation and changed it to Cosmos. We'd gladly stay here next time.

- NORIKO (8/5): - The air conditioner was centralized. I complained that my room was chilly. After that hotel staff brought my room an electric heater soon.
- Patrick (10/5): - Great location. It is close to all kinds of public transport such as metro, airport express, high speed trains as well as the local trains and buses.

- Peng (4/5): - Despite being a very old hotel (built in 1979), I feel the hotel staff and management are trying hard to maintain its relevance. I respect that. What really made my stay uncomfortable is the missing of heating. For the two nights I spent at the hotel, I had to wear my sweater during sleep. Also, this hotel apparently gets a lot of business from tour groups, which means heavy price competition. You can imagine the rest. Breakfast is good though.
- Michael (8/5): - Our room is remodeled. Small but well designed. The hallway carpets and flooring need to be update. Staff is helpful, energetic and friendly. The breakfast is good and inexpensive. Overall, it is a good choice for leisure traveler.
- Mei (8/5): - Room was clean and neat, staffs were nice and polite, breakfast buffet was excellent, hot water was great, only complaint was some other guests from different room was loud and I could hear them laughing and talking in the middle of the night

- melissa (10/5): - Stayed for a night for a short layover. The hotel and room were clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Easy access to the train station. Would stay here again.
- David (10/5): - Nice property with friendly staff and coupon for free latte in the morning (two, in fact!). Nice (windowless) room on the 16th floor, clean, hot water, comfy bed. I checkef-in at 12:30 am after a delayed flight and a train ride from the airport. No issues checking in that late. ch Checkout time is noon, so did get some one jet lagged sleep. Easy walk from Taipei main train station. Lots of homes outside sleepers around the station, so be careful.took the train to Keelung the next day, so the hotel was convenient with only a 7-minute walk. Would stay again.

- HIROKAZU (8/5): Very convenient - Cosmos Hotel Taipei is located very conveniently a few minutes from Taipei main train station. We chose this hotel because we were to ride a 6am train from the station. The hotel is average accommodation. It unfortunately lacks a luggage transportation service (by an independent carrier) that we had expected to send our large suitcase to the next hotel to stay after a 3-day short trip. The hotel is surrounded by small local restaurants and convenience stores so that you won't have inconvenience.

- Huilin (6/5): - This hotel is close to the train station and MRT. It would be easy to get around. The staff are helpful. But some facilities are getting old and need to be replaced or renovated. There was some unpleasant smell in the hallway and washroom.

- Mei Lian (8/5): Standards seem to be slipping. - Repeated visit with this hotel thou it seems to be slipping with it's standards, from the lacklustre room condition, to the depressing breakfast options. Trust me, I have stayed there yearly for the past decade and have spent 11 days this round. Smiles are disappearing, especially with front desk, used to feel welcome at check-in, now it's really procedural.
- Oh (8/5): Can be better - Hotel a bit dated and furniture worn. Showering faucet was bad, as it is so hard to get the right temperature. Aircon was super cold, especially during this cold spell period. Breakfast is good as usual and the bonus is drink vouchers redeemable at cafe on ground floor. Hotel should really think about upgrading. Will consider looking for other hotels nearby.

- Zhan (10/5): Nice stay - Well managed hotel. Room was big enough. Breakfast was good. All staff were kind, attentive and professional. They speak fluent English! Hope the window could open. The air was humid in the room.
- WenShi (8/5): It is at convenient location and good for family. - It is a hotel in a convenient location. The food of breakfast is ok. I thin this hotel is good for family travel but not for leisure.
- Allen (8/5): Good service and convenient location. - The hotel is old but the location is very good, near the Main Train station. I like the breakfast buffet. Con: lacking of modern USB ports and the noise from next rooms is very annoying.

- JACOB (8/5): Good Hotel - The room was too small with one chair and hardly enough space to move about. No toiletries like tooth paste/ brush were provided. The towels were extra clean and the breakfast was sumptous with a large variety of food - mostly of japanese/ taiwan cuisine. The place is ideally located close to the Taipei Main Train Station. Thed station has a food coiurt that caters to all asian tastes- Korean, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese and Thai.

- David (8/5): Very convenient location - very convenient location next to the main Taipei main train/transit station. Very convenient access to/from Tao Yuen airport using the metro. Room was basic, good, clean, and properly priced. Front desk staff service was good, very polite. Lent us umbrellas to walk in the intermittent rain.

- Jason (8/5): - Everything is good except check in is lack of flexibility. They will not check you in before 3pm even there are rooms available and you arrive sooner.

- Michael (10/5): - The location and staff are excellent, hotel is very luxurious but has areas that definitely need upgrading. Our original room on the 17th floor was huge, but had wall-to-wall carpet which was old and dusty so we moved to a smaller but more modern and non-carpeted room on the 14th floor, which was perfect. Breakfast was a nice mix of Eastern and Western options. We were flying out the following day so the hotel being right next to the rail line was super convenient.
- Tan (8/5): Good location, hotel furnishing can be mordernised - I have booked three quadruple rooms and I have to say the beds are not queen sized bed, it is really squeeze for two pax. The hotel furnishing looks really dated. Location wise it is very accessible as it is linked to the underground station exit m3. Staff are really friendly and approachable and I love the service they have provided.
