- Suzuna (10/5): - スタッフの方々がとてもフレンドリーで親切です。到着日が姉の誕生日だったのですが、チェックインの際に、おめでとうと祝ってくださいました。お部屋は広く、清潔です。清掃時間のリクエストも快く聞き入れてくださいました（状況次第ではあると思います）。10階食堂のモーニングビュッフェも、品数が多く大満足でした！卵料理が複数から選べるのが、特に良いと思いました(^^) 朝食は8時半以降、特に混み始める印象です。ホテルの前には基本的にタクシーが待機しており、外出に便利でした。

- fernwehfeels (8/5): Excellent location - My family and I stayed at this property for a couple of nights. Overall, our stay was good. Unfortunately, the taps are not user friendly. Difficult to turn off. There are malls near the hotel and it is walking distance (10 mins) to Taipei 101. Hotel is clean and conveniently located. There are good breakfast shops within walking distance too (6 min).
- Chen (10/5): 🎂在W慶生，度過難忘、欣賞信義區美景的生日之夜 - 此次入住的是奇幻套房 (Fantastic Suite)，對於W提供的接待服務非常滿意，包含從上午於WOOBAR用餐，一直到Check-In，之後晚上在最頂樓的YEN Bar紫艷酒吧觀賞101、享用餐點 & 飲品，整體都受到W酒店非常貼心的服務招待。 特別在紫艷酒吧還為我安排了視野絕佳的包廂，能讓我看到完美的夜景，用餐前女工作人員針對餐點的細心說明也印象深刻，而且當天生日，本來酒吧是要再給我蛋糕祝賀的，但後來獻上了我此生以來慶生未曾享用過的壽桃，給予我十足的驚喜感，也覺得非常有紀念意義。 房間入夜時，不僅對外可以俯瞰信義區美景，還吃了W精心特製的創意蛋糕，亦有收到飯店端親筆手寫的小卡，整體來說，從生日當天早上至隔天中午退房，確實是無可挑剔的，未來在有其他紀念日的場合，我想我還會再選擇入住W酒店，非常感謝W給了我一次難忘的體驗。

- MomsABeachBum (10/5): Comfort and Convenience - The W hotel in Taipei is within easy walking distance to several world class malls, many of the city’s sites, too many restaurants to count, and a metro stop. Those factors alone would be enough to stay at the W. But it is the comfort of the W that puts it ahead of the rest. The rooms are good sized and very well laid out. There are many extra touches throughout such as Bose speakers and martini shakers. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. The toilet controls rival NASA’s control room. We were on an upper floor and had a lovely view of the large relaxing pool. We tried two of the restaurants. The breakfast buffet had many options. None were spectacular but everything was very tasty and well prepared. The staff during peak hours gets very busy and it is difficult to get a refill of coffee. We also tried the woobar. At times there is a DJ and the area gets very loud. The food is a nice mix. After seeing several patrons order the high tea we wished we had done the same. It looked delicious. This was our first time staying at a W , it will not be the last. The W is a gem in Taipei.

- John (10/5): - In addition to having an epic pool deck, gym and restaurant/bar, the hotel is in the heart of convenient subway and bus connections as well as shopping and dining areas. Further, the hotel staff and particularly, the concierges, were extremely helpful from securing train tickets to sharing dinner and tour recommendations. Loved our stay, relaxing, fun and hope to return.

The rate is not competitive even with the corporate rate, and the staff service does not match the high rate. Additionally, suite upgrade rewards are not available here—as always. The lobby is hectic, always queues and lots of noise from dining area next door. The asked for a big room deposit and then said it would take up to 3 months to return it so that left an immediate bad taste - that’s just not ok.

- osnat (10/5): - אהבנו הכל. מלון מושלם. אבל הכי הכי אהבנו את הנוף מהחדר בקומה ה 30 ואת החשיבה על הפרטים הקטנים (מערכת שמע מעולה, וילונות חשמליים, קיר נפתח בין החדר לאמבטיה ועוד). אם נהיה קטנוניים וממש נחפש מה לא מושלם אז הדבר היחיד שאפשר היה לשפר זה להתאים את מספר האביזרים בחדר (כוסות, ספלים, כוסות יין, נעלי בית) למספר האורחים בחדר. אנחנו היינו 3 והכל היה מותאם ל 2.

The staff had already prepared a few pillows as requested (as I always have neck pain), and the staff members at the check-in section were friendly and welcoming. Special thanks go to Alice, who showed me around the hotel and notified me whether my room was ready (as I arrived early, it’s very considerate for what she did) ), and the lady at the breakfast restaurant with the pink hair, who introduced the breakfast in detail and followed my order for a Latte. The fitness centre was spacious and well-equipped. Most machines were adequate for travellers, and the whirlpool was comfortable too. Very impressive! What surprised me was the spacious room with a wide-angled view of Taipei City. The room was designed with attention to detail, like the phone charger near the bed, the phone shelf in the toilet, and the sofa near the window to look out at Taipei City. However, the room was a bit dim, the remote was not sensitive, and the shower valve was behind the shower (what?). There was no screen to block the shower water (which led to a slippery washroom floor), and the sink was much higher than the bathroom counter. But these tiny things did not adversely affect the top quality of this hotel. Thanks to W Taipei for your exceptional service; I’ll definitely stay here when I come back to Taipei. With love xx, Ben

The location is fantastic, close to many attractions and just a short walk to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. We also appreciated being surrounded by excellent shopping malls, which made downtime convenient and fun. If you’re driving, just keep in mind that there’s no valet service, so you’ll need to park in the underground garage a few stories down. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and convenience—highly recommended!

The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance of shopping areas and a wide variety of restaurants. The rooms were excellent—modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and truly added a personal touch to our stay. During breakfast, we found it difficult to enjoy some of the Asian dishes due to the use of pork. Once we mentioned this to the staff, the chef personally came to introduce himself and kindly assured us that suitable options would be arranged the following morning. True to his word, they went above and beyond by preparing delicious dishes tailored to our preferences, which made us feel genuinely cared for. Overall, it was a memorable stay with outstanding hospitality, and we would gladly return.

- jellybellymelly (6/5): Could be better - We stayed for 3 nights in mid Jan. First on the positives - the location is unbeatable. It's connected to a metro station and situated right at a mall (the Uni-President Department Store), and there are around 11 or so other malls in the vicinity, with no lack of food options across the road as well. Next, the Wonderful room was modern and very spacious for two people. On to the negatives - my only gripe about the room is the lack of a shower door/screen. If you look at pictures of the bathroom you'd know what I mean. Essentially, the shower area is not completely enclosed, and you'd have to shower at a specific angle to prevent the entire area from getting wet. Marriott Gold Elite members are only given two bottles of Evian water. It was fine that I didn't get an upgrade on check in, but when I asked for a late checkout at 2.15pm (we had an afternoon flight and our driver was picking us up at the hotel at 2.30pm), the staff had an issue with the extra 15 minutes I had asked for, and needed to check with her manager (who said it was ok). It was bizarre that I subsequently received an email from W at 1pm on the last day telling me that I still had luggage in my room and haven't checked out (we were out having lunch). I think W should really work on its customer service given the price point they are charging.

I thought it was too avant-garde for me, however, I just wanted to try one out when I went to Taipei. I was absolutely blown away from the service throughout the day from the room to the check-in experience to the lady who checked me in who escorted us up to the room, the drivers the hotel staff at the airport every person that we’ve bumped into housekeeping, the person on the phone everyone have been impeccable! The bellhops were fantastic too. However, my one feedback would be the concierge, who stand by the door and the ground Concierge Desk need to know faces of returning guest and welcome them more warmly when we come back into the property after a walk. I barely got a high or hello throughout the six days I was there every time we went out and or came back in of the property which I think it’s not acceptable for this price range. Also they could assist in getting the door of our taxis when we reach or leave. In saying that, every time I ask them a question they’ve been extremely helpful and polite, but maybe they’re shy and nervous. I’m not sure.

Very convenient location for shopping, night market, Taipei 101 etc. We had a Marvellous Suite which loved it up to it’s name. Great views, comfortable bed with lots of pillow choices. Every amenity you can think of was available: Dyson hairdryer, clothes steamer, coffee maker, Bluetooth speakers, Chromecast to TVs, electric blinds, great lighting options… Toiletries were in abundance and great quality. Loved the gym and spa - great equipment, sauna, steam room, spa baths and massage chair is incredible! Breakfast buffet was extensive and room service quick and good value. All staff very helpful. So sad to leave…

The room was well equipped but a little too modern for my taste, and also a lack of storage in rooms/bathroom. It is ideal for a short stay. Breakfast area is airy but it was quite chaotic. Service throughout the hotel was ok. They were efficient and did their job. The pool/gym area is definitley the highlight of the stay. They were both kept clean and was not crowded (as I stayed during the week).

Connecting rooms for the family were seamless and well appointed, though I don’t understand why all connecting rooms require one to be accessible. Breakfast buffet excellent and service top notch. The concierge even sent someone to buy us basketball tickets at family mart. Gym was fantastic. Unbeatable location in Xinyi near Taipei 101 and metro stop. Just can’t beat this hotel. It all starts with the important first impression for guests, when you arrive at the front door. Kudos to both Bill and David for their gracious greeting and hospitality. Bill recognized us on our return to the hotel literally a year after our last stay. One morning my family decided to hike up Elephant Mountain for sunrise. Bill coordinated transportation, wrote out instructions for the driver and reviewed them with the driver before we left the hotel. We felt truly cared for. David offered great recommendations, knew our names and always greeted us warmly. These gentleman should be given promotions and pay raises. Fantastic location, steps to great dining, shopping and transit. Wonderful fitness center, pool and dining. Stay here and make the most of your stay in this wonderful city!
- Trvl8176 (10/5): Trendy Hotel in the Heart of Taipei - This hotel is super trendy and centrally located. The decor is modern, colorful and vibrant. The bar was a hopping place around midnight when we arrived. The pool is lovely. The beds and amenities were decent. We prefer to stay at Four Seasons (there isn't one in Taipei yet although they are apparently building one), but this hotel was a great value for the money. I believe breakfast is included for everyone (or at least it was for us) so there was a bit of a line at the entrance, which was mildly annoying with children in tow, but the line moved fast and the service was speedy. The food was also. very very good at breakfast. The service both before and during our trip was great. They arranged a tour for us (which was fabulous) and also transportation to and from the airport (which was in an S class mercedes and super reasonably priced). I think this is likely the nicest place to stay in Taipei.

- BlairSe (10/5): Nice, modern stay - My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the W. We were visiting Taipei for about 5 days and booked the Wonderful room (myself, husband, and 3 year old). As a lifetime Titanium member, we were upgraded to a Wonderful room with a view of Taipei 101. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful when we arrived early, holding onto our belongings until our room was ready (which was faster than we anticipated). The rooms are very modern, as is the lounge/restaurant area. The pool area was spacious and is perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The breakfast spread was superb, with lots of Eastern and Western options - all delicious. We also took advantage of the 2 free drinks in the evening which we appreciated. The location cannot be beat with its proximity to the subway as well as lots of shopping and dining options (and only about a 20 minute walk to Taipei 101). Would absolutely recommend.

- Voyager01777602754 (2/5): Title: Extremely inflexible and disappointing service — ruined what should have been a great stay - My wife and I stayed at W Taipei for the Johnson Controls Asia Partner Conference (11–14 Nov 2025). Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a very poor check-in encounter and inflexible hotel management. We booked our stay through the official conference link, intending to reserve 1 room for 2 guests. Somehow the system generated 2 rooms for 1 guest instead. We only realized the mistake when we arrived at the hotel. We explained clearly that we only needed one room and requested the cancellation of the extra room immediately — it was never required and never occupied at all during our stay. Despite this, the front desk refused to cancel the unused room and insisted on full payment for the entire 3 nights. Even after senior management from Johnson Controls personally stepped in to clarify the mistake and support us, the hotel still denied any flexibility. It was extremely disappointing to see such a rigid and unfriendly attitude for an obvious booking error that was raised right at check-in. In the end, we were told that part of the unnecessary extra cost had to be absorbed by Johnson Controls just to resolve the situation. This should never have happened. For a hotel under the W brand, I expected better hospitality, fairness, and customer care. Instead, we felt taken advantage of rather than welcomed. A simple and reasonable gesture would have turned the situation around — instead, the response from the hotel left a very negative impression. We will not be choosing W Taipei again, and I hope management will reflect seriously on how guests are treated in similar situations.
